[The Nonexistent Tazz]

OK: First and foremost, the reason why this is getting it's own thread here rather than the RP section is because this has no SU area: You can jump in or out as you go, and doesn't require headers, just knowing what's going on. This WAS a crazy part of the LPW8/9 thread, but considering we've managed to finish that thread off, I've decided that it might be somewhat more fitting if the crazy action there gets its own thread.

As I said, this RP has no SU sheets and you can drop in, or out, as anything, on the condition you keep it within reason. I won't bat an eye at anything-even giant space worm-thus long as you aren't going 'Oh I'm invincible to everything,' it's almost positively not Godmodding. The one exception: Me and Sivelos (usually me) are the GMs of the game: If we say no, it's a no. This may look like Lookie at a glance, but a complicated plot has sprung up. There will be a summary of major events below, and if need be there will also be an explamation of some of the weird MMORPG mechanics that sprout up. Inconsistiencies are abound, so take what's most recent as most canon. The tl;dr version, though, is thus: you are a member of the mercenary group known as the AntIvOId, fighting RaGNaK and the Legion, helping find powerful reborn figures from before Reality known as Elder Souls, finding the Soul of the Oblivion Lord, AKA the Black, going on Soulquests to unlock Personas, getting the Classes, killing all the bad guys, and most importantly, getting ALL THE L00T, just like Munchkin but without stabbing your buddies. Simple enough, right?

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

The world this plot takes place in is friggin huge-Imagine clusters of Universes making Multiverses (Universes are ridiculously big, mind), then clusters of Multiverses making up Dimensions, then Clusters of Dimensions making up a singular Superdimension...Of which total, there are a discovered 8, and most likely more. Despite the massive degrees of separation, all of exitsence is basically run like your typical MMO: Kill stuff, Level up, get L00T. Not Loot nor loot nor LOOT, but L00T. Death is cheap (literally: Just costs a pittance of Gold, and they even give free trials in a pinch), and practically everyone has the ability to warp reality-or counteract warps in reality. The latter WILL win out to the former 99.9% of the time, though, so people usually fight with other powers. They're still destructive enough that, at the very least, half of a planet's going to go with each attack. Not to worry, though! A mysterious force known as, well, The Force, will nigh-instantly repair any damage to the environment you didn't intend and restore casualties, among other things. You are a possibly-seasoned adventurer, you are at least aligned to the side of good enough that you do not like the prospects of (a) Existential Annihilation or (b) Multi-Superdimensional Dictatorships...And that's all you really need to know as per the world. The rest is up to you to define as you see fit, but most can be run by as you find it.

As for the plot itself: As mentioned, you are a possibly-seasoned adventurer who is aligned to the good guys JUST enough that joining a band of mercenaries obsessed with L00T is preferrable to the prospects of Existential annihilation or Multi-Superdimensional Dictatorships. This is because you are going to be fighting two (very large) groups who aim for exactly that: One, the RaGNaK, are out to wipe the table clean from existence, while the other, the Unity of the Legion (usually called just the Legion), are out to impose order upon existence...Their own very ruthless way. The AntIvOId-the Designated Heroes (they are actually heroic, though), they are the primary force against both the RaGNaK and the Legion. But let's take it from the top.

After meeting in a tavern owned and operated by The Nonexistent Tazz (or Just Tazz, or Tazanite), Rin Kagamine (or just Rin) and Wander the Transformer (as well as Tazz) Laid witness to a Dimensional Hole-a hole between dimensions. A rather problematic hole as it was rather unstable as well, but a problem quickly fixed. After quickly fixing it, the possibility of multiversal travel came to light-and not long thereafter, Tazz's in-house machines picked up distortions associated with Multiversal collapse. Assembling everyone present as fast as he could, Wander and Sonic20 (or S2) were sent thorugh the Dimensional Hole to a mostly unknown location. Wander got there just fine, but S2 was ambushed and forced to fight off the massively macho MACHOKARP. After exploiting his Diabetes-based weakness for the kill, Tazz joined S2, and together went back to the site with Wander on it, bypassing millions of massive bosses and finding the location wherein reality was being distorted-and thusly the conductor, Revenankh, a really angry mummy ghost who got pissed off over a dead brother. What happened thereafter was an extensively long battle against Revenankh that took a while. Eventually, though, after at least several One-Winged Angels, Revenankh went down, and everyone was introduced to Dimentio. Dimentio's motives were suspect in finding the Chaos Heart...BUt it quickly became apparent that Dimentio-and the rest of the party-were being tricked by an Illusion, an Illusion eventually broken while Dimentio was in the D Dimension. In doing so, it revealed Freedom, the Dark Writ of Imprisonment and rapist, revealing a greater threat; however, Freedom absconded before he could be dealt with. With that, the AntIvOId more or less officially formed, and thus went out to hunt down Freedom-and by extension the rest of the Armageddon-lusting cultists around.

However, not long after a scrap with a group lead by Krathlos (aka Captain Fanfic), the group came into contact with The Black, an immensely powerful entity and absolute controller of the Void, Oblivion Incarnate, the Nameless Substance, and the method of annihilating reality/existence that the Dark Writs lusted for. Being lazy, he struck a deal: the AntIvOId would take care of the imminent threat of Krathlos'es group and the RaGNaK in exchange for massive L00T. They accepted, and thus hunting down Krathlos began in earnest. Meanwhile, the apperance of Homestuck's characters caused some ruckus, as unlike almost anything else, the entirety of Homestuck was eradicated from existence; this included Krathlos, a descendant of Lord English. Ultimately, it went unanswered in the short term. Krathlos, after bombing the ever-living crud out of the AntIvOId's original base, went on to be challenged by them. After another long battle, he fled when it became apparent that neither side would give, and thus attempted to question Dimentio's wereabouts. It quickly went south and the AntIvOId rediscovered his location, leading to another battle, wherein he achieved his own method of causing Existence to wipe releasing the Original Time Eater Sek'talkus. Sek, however, was allied with the Black: Thusly the fight against Krathlos quickly went downhill for him and he eventually fled, narrowly alive. He was later contacted by Image, Dark Writ of Oblivion and leader of the RaGNaK, convincing Krathlos into joining his group. It was almost immediately thereafter that The Dark Writs, and the RaGNaK as far as it was known, had rushed in and attacked almost everywhere at once within the 1st Superdimension with an unprecedentedly large army. Surprisingly, the horde was mostly held off by the Black and his highly destructive powers: Only two armies were taken care of by the AntIvOId. However, the RaGNaK's location went unknown.

It was at this point that the group was contacted by a mysterious figure: The Bronze Elder Soul, a being older than reality itself and a ghost of a warrior. At this point, a larger plot it had become aware of was delivered to the AntIvOId, one that has, thus far, escaped explamation (or relevance); People (including the Homestuck) were coming back long after their very existences had been wiped by the destruction of previous realities, scattered amongst the cosmos in worlds untouched. They were immensely powerful but unable to respawn. Giving them the methods to cross dimensions, The Bronze Elder Soul gave them the task: Retrive the 'Elder Souls,' and keep them away from the RaGNaK. Meanwhile, the RaGNaK came into contact with such a revived Elder Soul themselves: Bloodhound. He basically told them much the same, but also added that, because of The Black's sheer power over the void and a loophole in that he could not consciously destroy all of reality, the only way to cause Armageddon was to completely destroy (as in, annihlation of the body AND the Soul) The Black-exactly why the AntIvOId was sought out to destroy them instead of the Black personally handling it.

The AntIvOId's first contact with Elder Souls was a mixed bag: one signed up without any hesitation, while the other refused to believe the insanity that he was just told, apparently from a reality more...grounded than this one, and thusly beat them to hell with extreme power gained from sheer 'age.' It was at this point that LPW8's RP privelages were taken away due to slightly-related cussing incidents in the slightly-related Avatar roleplay, and thus the full fight against the Second Elder Soul was skipped. Sadly, both would later die due to a spaceship

The AntIvOId eventually came across a giant Blackout Zone-an area where nothing can be seen by any means, except going in. Unaware of what was on the other side, the AntIvOId charged striaght through a Military blockade, which was easily destroyed, and Nidhogg the local Daemon Lord, who easily destroyed them. After crashing on a nearby planet (which killed the first two Elder Souls), the local authorities demanded they repay by basically killing everything they could, starting with a convenient dungeon nearby. It didn't take long to clear it out AND discover another Elder Soul, Teal, who seems to have a link to the Black (and not a fun one). Upon resurfacing, it became apparent the RaGNaK followed with them, and an overly-lengthy battle against Bloodhound and Freedom, who had mind-controlled Nidhogg to his aid, ensured. However, Freedom eventually severely weakened Nidhogg-which was troublesome, as earlier on it was revealed that killing Nidhogg in all but a specific way would merely make him split into two equally-strong parts. Eventually, Freedom was bested, but in the process one of his brainwashed minions was convinced that the AntIvOId was just slaughtering his men. thankfully, an observer of Apoph, the daemon lord from where he came from, made him step down. Unfortunately, as Apoph was a direct contender for Nidhogg's power, this caused Nidhogg to suicide, splitting himself into two equally powerful halves and declare vendetta against the AntIvOId, allying with his previous oppressors and giving them loads of power. Meanwhile, for their relative aid, the AntIvOId were given free roam again.

While in this superdimension, they made headway into securing, surprisingly, the Bronze Elder Soul, revived mysteriously. Also appearing for the first time is Light Chaos, one-half of an incredibly powerful entity hailing from Sir Sivelos'es increasingly relevant corner of reality in the first Superdimension. He timed his entrance badly, however, and The Bronze Elder Soul accidentally attacked Light Chaos, breaking his half of the soul-an act that would cripple him and leave the important task of re-merging the full Chaos considerably more difficult. This was (and is) more important than it sounds, as Dark Chaos, upon entry into the 3rd Superdimension, proved to be devoted to the RaGNaK's cause on principal. After defeating Dark Chaos for the first time, the AntIvOId confiscated the Archeon from them, as well as the Archangel's Aegis. After some typical runic language deciphering, the group figured out that these two, alongside the Arms of Atlas, were the three keys to the Black's domain, through which was teh only way that the group could attack The Black. Realizing that obtaining all three keys would apparently mean the Black's safety, they resolved to find the Arms of Atlas.

After some more generic Elder Soul obtianing, in which the AntIvOId sustained a healthy lead against the RaGNaK, the group eventually came across the wielder of the Arms of Atlas, Acidic Seoul. A massive, prolonged fight ensured, during which Image proclaimed his intentions to take the bow and the bombing of his planet ensured, the AntIvOId gave chase to Acidic Seoul while fleeing Image, and eventually KO'ing them, securing the bow and getting them out of there. Unfortunately, not long afterwards was this made to be a massive mistake: Image, the leader of the RaGNaK, was also an Ultimate Blacksmith, an undisputed authority on L00T crafting, and thus could remake a full copy of all three artifacts with his own hands. As Dark Chaos'es memories sufficed for the first two, all he needed to do was see the Arms of Atlas in action, which he did. He was now fully cleared to attack The Black.

The AntIvOId heroically responded by setting up a massive defensive formation with the intent of keeping the hordes of enemies the RaGNaK sent forth, but in the end, after proving too successful, Image personally intervened with his blinding speed and opened up all the gates leading to the room, then seemingly engaged in a fight with The Black, leaving one of his henchmen-The Helmsman, AKA Certainty the Dark Writ of Obscrufation, to deal with the AntIvOId. As it turns out, after killing said 'henchmen', this was not the case-the entity was actually The Black, dead. However, as it required his soul being destroyed to kill him (which the AntIvOId didn't manage), The Black escaped, prompting a fight with Certainty for real, a really freaking hard fight which was eventually won with assistance from the mysterous Bahamut-later revealed to be the source of The Black's woes and a soul The Black had been bound to for a long time. Narrowly bypassing the rest of the very angry RaGNaK, they made it into The Black's treasure room. As a percautionary measure, The Black made sure a message was sent that allowed the group to take almost everything there, which was a lot of stuff. Thereafter, they proceeded to meet with a member of The Black's Wraithguard, Dionysious, who gave orders to wait for a certain entity after giving the group a mysterious card.

THe mysterious card turned out to summon everyone to The Velvet Room, where the Velvet Room's patron Magaret appeared to them, telling them about Soulquests and their inner power to nine assembled: Tazz, Sivelos, Apoph (who had joined at this point due to a takeover by another daemon lord), Nightmare, Light Chaos, Rebecca (NPC), Carcino (NPC), Wander, and Ecrivian (Ghostwriter). After this, Dionysious appeared again, attempting to get the group to take down the RaGNaK while they hunted down The Black's soul. However, Bahamut, having known The Black perosnally, insisted that The Black himself be found by them, as he was stradling a fine line and could quickly go down a very, very dark path. Considering his level of power, this is quite the threat. REgardless, however, they couldn't exactly let their hidden potential go to waste or ignore the Elder Souls, and The Black's soul had a completley unkonwn location.

They started with Sivelos'es Soulquest, which was about ressurecting a key figure in his reality: Kami Lord. Having been slain by his own servant on his own orders, he offered valuable insight into Sivelos'es world and the world in general. However, they quickly attracted the ire of the Unity of the Legion, a well-established military power that was on-par with the RaGNaK, who was also hunting down The Black's soul and had odds with the AntIvOId. AFter effectively declaring war, the group went on to find cryptic hints that pointed them towards a new Superdimension. Within, a massive fleet of Legion warships greeted them, and the group had to fight their way to the coffin of the Kami Lord, where they faced off against one of the Legion's masters, Lycian, as well as Freedom the Dark Soul of Imprisonment, while the AntIvOId were seiged by both Legion forces, and later RaGNaK forces. THey eventually managed it, only to realize that Kami Lord had his death be far more therough-he had annihilated himself, and thereafter clarified that Sivelos'es past as he knew it was almost a complete lie, and that the reality he had made 'recently' was actually very old.

With that done, they started on Apophis' Soulquest. Apophis was the former Daemon Overlord of reality, briefly usurping Baal through unknown means. It didn't last, however, as Baal was a vicious tyrant and beyond many in power level, leading Baal to create a bloody campaign against him. Ultimately the AntIvOId and Sivelos could not support him due to a deal made with Baal earlier, and thus their reality was annihlated swiftly. However, Apoph and his most trusted Observers survived, and he wants revenge at Baal for the annihilation of his reality. In addition, Wander's Soulquest also started, when it was revealed that Axiom Nexus, his homeworld, had mysteriously been destroyed, and its inhabitants were in dire need of supplies and rescue-supplies that Baal could easily donate, on the wager that he be bested in combat. Thusly, all signs swiftly poitned to a fight with Baal as the next thing to do...Which is where we are right now.

Anyway, I'm joining in on this from where I left off as Neo Emolga, that mysterious Arch-White Mage that no one knows where he came from or what he's about. They just know he's a divine healer capable of many mysterious holy powers, healing, and buffing abilities.

So yeah, I'm ready any time you are.

I'll give it a bit more time. however, I will say this: THAT'S NOT EVEN ALL OF IT. That's just a recap of major events. Not included at all is the Dark Aura, a substance capable of copying any substance it touches. Tazz has used this to make himself a one-man army, helped by a convenient device that gives one the power of your Homestuck Mythological Role of choice (granted, it's kind of limited in its own ways-I'll get back to you on that if you're interested). Nor is this including MACHOKARP's status as a producer and seller of white paints, nor the fact there was a plot wherein we fought Mobster Kingpin from Problem Sleuth fame and Rin was revealed to be a Vim (Physical force) Deity, nor were several dungeon runs and tidbits made in them. This doesn't include most of the Elder Soul quests, as well: We have a LOT of Elder Souls.

I'll wait longer for more interest, but if no-one else posts tomorrow I'll get the fight back and started. The actual actions won't happen right away-some comment on Dimensional Lag will hand-wave it, and you'll get to do actions over again, because that would be a nightmarish headache to deal with. But not much waiting will be involved, hopefully.

The reason we're fighting him is because I set up a duel to help our buddy Apoph-

- get his original territory back from Baal, 'cause he somehow usurped Baal and Baal took his original throne back. Apoph needs this because it's part of his Soulquest.

Baal's Servant:...It appears a severe case of Dimensional Lag has appropriated, removing all buffs. His Admirable Tyrrany Lord Baal finds this unfitting, and will give you...Another three seconds to re-prepare in whatever manner you see fit.

*BAAL, as before, is still in SWORD ORBITER stance, with uncounable swords swarming around him. He is exposed, but those swords will start slinging themselves at you. You still have a whole barrier for each of you and an AEGIS, bar SIVELOS who is only protected by a Barrier right now.*

The DOVAHKIIN shouts: STRUN BA QUO! The force of the lightning reaches into the very sky itself, creating thunderclouds instantly that, within a second, all strike BAAL at once, and seem to last indefinitely, trapping him in a self-generated cage of death and lightning, which would have probably killed any other foe here. However, he still preserves his last hit point.*

*You realize that your newfound power is going to only have a few more seconds, so in your last moments of omnipotence, you draw forth the ORIGIN GLAIVE from your very being-a sword which was merely a catalyst to your transformation, not exactly the cause of it. It now glows an ominous Cobalt Blue, completely unknown inscriptions upon it in a pitch black, and you brandish it at BAAL, pointing it at him. The nigh-blinding LIGHTNING barely causing him to see it, he looks genuinely worried for a change. As the Cobalt Blue energy reeks off of it, you ready up, as the DOVAHKIIN generates a sword of his own, a mirror of yours, including the Cobalt Blue energy. You draw back, rush at BAAL, and in two clean strokes, one each, literally cut him in thirds.*

*BAAL SLAIN!*

*SIVELOS'es markings wear off and the DOVAHKIIN desummons.*

*BAAL's servant is speechless. You have won, securing supplies for WANDER, and winning APOPH back his kingdom.*

You can tell it is NOT the same cloak you wear, but has the same power-meaning only the properly-attuned STAR ELEMENT attacks could harm this douchebag. AT the same time, you realize that YOUR cloak has LOST this property at this point-you have regained a more physical body, reminiscent of BAAL's though definitely not, as you lack the heavy armor he totes. This is not the situation you want to be in.*

*You search yourself for weapons-as you don't have any techniques that can harm your cloak on the off-chance it could be reflected back at you-and realize that, even taking your new 'body's clothes into account, you have nothing but the KEY...And as it happens, the mask has an inscription of a keyhole. Not an actual keyhole, just an inscription. Inspecting the whole Key closer, you realize it has a star mark on the end.*

*...You're literally gonna murder a version of you mixed with GALACTA KNIGHT roughly fifty times your size. With a freaking regular KEY. You don't have weapon proficiency with that! But, you really don't have a choice, it seems. Looks like you're gonna have to get to work on this!*
