I got my ears pierced when I was 7. When I was 12 I started playing basketball four times a week and got sick of having to take them out and put them back in all the time, so I just stopped wearing them. Piercings kinda freak me out these days, I don't think I could ever get them redone. Too much of a wimp. xD

HA HA, Sarah. When I got my lip pierced it didn't hurt too bad. She didn't numb it, she just stuck a needle through below my bottom lip. xD It was like a mega-huge shot. It wasn't too bad. It's uncomfortable for now, though. When I eat the bottom of it gets caught on my tooth and I pull it up. And I have to wash it three times a day on the outside, and rinse my mouth out with mouth wash if I eat, drink, or smoke anything (I don't smoke anything though).

N'aww, piercings can be fabulous. Like mine will be after it heals and I can get actually jewelry in there to make it look cool. xD

I don't have any piercings myself. Ear piercings are pretty common nowadays though.

I've had my ears pierced ever since I was little...all because my dad got tired of people calling me a little boy, even when they put me in frilly clothing. Personally, I wouldn't mind a simple nose piercing on one side, but I'm afraid that with the way I have to continually blow my nose most of the year because I'm allergic to anything that gives off pollen it wouldn't work out.

I don't see the point in being unable to walk through the gates at airports. I have none. I don't mind people with ear piercings (unless they are giant holes) but anything else is just eww..

I have actually never had that problem. Air port metal detectors are actually really picky, and as far as I know, a lot are trying to convert to the big body scan machines instead.

Our airport has a fully body scanner, so it won't be a problem for me if I travel anywhere. :D

I have both of my ears pierced, but that's the only one I've gotten. I was so nervous getting my ears pierced since I was scared it was going to hurt, but hey, they got done, so I'm happy~

All joking aside, nope, I do not. I don't want any and never will. Not a big fan of plugs/gauges/whatever-the-hell-they're-called, but then I don't hate them either (unless they're stupidly huge, then I won't really be interested in being around them).

Sure, people like piercings, I'm fine with that. But when you have so many that your body is mostly metal... ew. (I once saw this guy on the bus who had piercings ALL OVER HIS FACE - THERE WAS NO SKIN, JUST PIERCINGS (I'm not even joking...)).

I have had my ears pierced since I was 10 months old. :D So... I don't even remember if there was any pain or not. (I was told that I didn't cry from it, which is strange for a baby, I guess?)

However, I don't think I'm going to get anymore because even though I didn't cry when I was little, I might cry now. XD

Anyway, I have a lip ring on the bottom left, but that's currently it. However, I want two on the right side of my nose, along with some in my ear. Explaining the ear piercings is difficult so have a picture example featuring my amazing MS Paint skillz.
