It's cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere.

Have you dreamed of a future of glory, fame and immortality? Well good news for those of you who won't get any of that! The Jupiter Mining Corporation are recruiting new members to board our flagship Red Dwarf to head Back to Earth and compete in the WAR. We cannot guarantee the absence of any GELFs. Species known as Pokemon have not yet been utilised by the Corps for our Space Exploration missions, and they could well be a vital commodity in future missions. Under the command of Captain Vultan, Red Dwarf is returning to Earth to obtain numerous species of these Pokemon in order to undertake vital research into the viability of their usage on other terran planets across the galaxy through whatever means necessary.

We're here to kick butt and chew bubblegum, and thanks to the Holly Hop Drive, we have a pretty substantial supply of gum, so we'll start with that.

I have a problem with this. Shouldn't curry night be pretty much every night? Not every night, of course, but pretty much. Case in point;

"We don't eat curries every night, if that's what you mean. In fact, I distinctly remember a time last June: Mr Lister had a pizza."

"Remember? And you didn't like it. But then I poured curry sauce all over it, and he just yummed it up!"

So maybe revise that rule to 5] Pizza night in June (optional). Curry all other nights.

You can write up your story and then post it in the Fan Fic section of the boards. And then follow whatever rules the section leader has for their section. If that makes sense....lol.

- Go to the Writer's Desk section and make a new thread.
- Copy + paste your story into that thread. For your heading, make sure you put "[WAR]" in the heading as the first word, so that Neo Emolga knows that it's for the war.
- Once the thread is posted, you post a link to it in the Creative Writing WAR thread. :]

Then you're all done! :D There's no word limit, so go crazy.

Eternal NewMoon - All you have to do is draw a fakemon of your creation and create a new type for it to be. A common type in the fandom is the light type, for instance, to counter dark types. Your fakemon has to be this new type you've created (but may be dual type). The pictures people have already posted might give you a good idea for what to do. :]

There are no other restrictions other than if you're doing it digitally, you're not really allowed to use gradients or blurring, or other filter effects, because that would be considered cheating to someone who has no choice but to use traditional means of creating a picture (like drawing with pencils). Other than that, though, you're allowed to draw digitally (which most people tend to do). :]

Ahhh, I'd love to get involved with something other than my judging duties, but I'm simply much too busy in general and especially this month to help out. So I'll just keep earning that point!

And although Jenn would be nice to have back for the ASB, I think Ghostwriter has a real chance of grabbing some points for us in the ASB section. If it wasn't for a particularly big issue which I had with his appeal, he would have definitely got 2nd, and maybe even 1st this week.

...Well then. That's my own silly fault. I was more caught up with the non-magnetic quality of gold. Blame the scientist in me. I also know that coins can be other metals that ARE magnetic, but Pay Day has always seemed golden to me.

Double posting to say that I have been sick with gastro for the past two days, and today is worse than yesterday. -_- It's sort of making me quite tired and reluctant to do anything at all except sit back and laze around, so I may not get in many entries this week. I don't know how much longer this thing will last, but I'm guessing at least one more day. Ugh. Good luck to everyone else. :]

A few weeks ago, we looked so far behind TT and PB. So to not only solidify our position in the top three but to take Silver by six clear points and only finish one point off the eventual winners? That is an incredible achievement :D

I'm very proud to have been part of JMC, and a huge congratulations to everyone who fought in our name, regardless of point taking!

And dear lord, Suicune's Fire; you were just... incredible. Totally deserved MVP of WAR 2015, and it's been an honour to be in the same team as you.

Considering the slow start we made Week 1, this has been a fantastic result guys. I'm ridiculously proud of all of you.

So, what's next for the JMC?

Well, firstly, I'll still be around on PXR for the URPG (http://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?104-Pok%E9mon-Ultra-RPG), which I'd seriously recommend you guys look at, particularly those with artistic or writing talents, you can use these skills to capture pokemon and make extra cash in the URPG world.

Secondly, the PWN Birthday Extravaganza (http://forums.petalburgwoods.com/forumdisplay.php/310-Birthday-Extravaganza-2015) is about to begin. It's like WAR, but on a slightly smaller scale and with a couple different events. I'm looking at taking the JMC over there too to dominate a whole different set of people!

Suicune's Fire You did fantastically yourself, though that's probably an understatement since you earned like half of our points by yourself! I'm gonna try to be here the whole 4 weeks next year (if I stay semi-active consistently from now on!), but maybe I'll join a different team than you and battle with you directly :P

We all did great! I almost didn't communicate with any of you and I was just some random newcomer that joined halfway through the WAR so that he could relive his PE2K spriting days, but I'm really glad I came and I really felt that despair when we got such a close second. It may not seem it, but I'm pretty attached to this crew and wrangling canaries!
