Okay guys, so I'm kinda wanting to talk about a Youtube channel that is really amazing. It's a music channel, not a video channel.

There's this user that is named myuuji (https://www.youtube.com/user/myuuji)--myuu for short--who is an AMAZING pianist and composer. Like, ohmigosh. If you're into Creepypasta readings, there's like a 90% chance that you've heard a song of his being used as background music...or hell, you've probably heard multiples. I'm going to list off my favorites here. I STRONGLY urge you to check out his stuff.

His piano work is typically dark, depressing, and/or creepy. But the thing is...there's a certain beauty to them that just makes them absolutely incomparable to anything else. He REALLY does a good job at setting a certain mood.

So as I mentioned, here's some of my favorites!

"Wind's Wreck" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgwLOWAFg5o&index=3&list=PL6674FE0F7323E5BC)

This sounds almost remorseful, if not actually rather peaceful at the beginning. It delves deeper into the rabbit hole throughout the song; doesn't really get creepy per se, but it really emphasizes on the beginning of it. Honestly, it reminds me of a dark and stormy night...no cliche intended!

"Nebula" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXC5pgOKcRw&index=5&list=PL6674FE0F7323E5BC)

This is creepy, and you can tell just by listening to the first two seconds. It really creates this tense, highly unsettling atmosphere. It isn't exactly as outstanding as some of his other pieces like Wind's Wreck, but it is very iconic of myuu.

"A Deep Voice" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8L4mfRUU1E&index=7&list=PL6674FE0F7323E5BC)

This song portrays both distress and anguish, with its repetitive, haunting riff and melody.

"Something's Wrong" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXblSWm5Z-k&index=8&list=PL6674FE0F7323E5BC)

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ONE!! <3 This is really well-made. When you hear it in a creepypasta reading...you KNOW **** is about to go down. It starts out and continues with a very repetitive, slightly unnerving riff that starts out silent and gradually becomes louder as the song progresses...but really naturally so. So yeah, there's a lot of tension in this and then there's this BEAUTIFUL climax! It almost sounds sad, actually.

"Scent of Night" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ma3BFoEwjPI&index=12&list=PL6674FE0F7323E5BC)

Myuu is really good with starting out with a riff that kinda is repetitive / unnerving and continues throughout the rest of the piece. x] This one does just that...again! But just listen to it as it progresses. It goes from creepy to actually having a LOT of emotion and feeling behind it.

"Rising Walls" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqNQJUMhook&index=13&list=PL6674FE0F7323E5BC)

Exactly as the title says! This is another tension-climax-esqued piece. But it does it a little differently from "Something's Wrong;" it's much less panicked...and the ending makes you think of someone who has just decided to accept their cruel fate.

"Moonlight Menschen" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzpGEx_AT-I&index=14&list=PL6674FE0F7323E5BC)

Sounds like a clone of Moonlight by Beethoven at first, but just keep listening! He really plays around with the melody here and creates something totally new from it. Both haunting and emotional.

"Prey" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6LhtZABxJQ&index=18&list=PL6674FE0F7323E5BC)

This usually, in creepypasta readings, denounces a crisis / critical moment that is happening at that second. It starts off strong, and then finishes off really nicely...making it a great song to end with in CP readings!

"Promise ~Reprise~" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LApkHzyKxrw&index=56&list=PL6674FE0F7323E5BC)

Some nice little Silent Hill 2 stuff, here! It's really a simple melody, and is very pretty.

Again, please check out his stuff! <3

I too like eerie music. I found these songs enjoyable to an extent but not quite my fancy. I can't imagine listening to them over Camille's Danse Macabre for instance, or over Liszt's nigh atonal Nuages Gris. Solid artist if this is what you're into though.
