BROKEN SUN
The Mandate of Anarchy
The True Soul Pact has been shattered. And now oblivion is at hand.
The Pact was meant to be an agreement between the heavenly skies of Utopia and the burning bowels of Abyss. The pact decreed that no living soul of Pokémon would bear witness and be influenced by either of the two afterlife realms before the moment of their death. If left alone to live their own life according to their own choices, the true nature of their soul could be determined for proper and adequate judgment. The Abyss would be able to claim their evil dead, while Utopia would welcome the compassionate and the righteous that had passed on, one of the only things Utopia and the Abyss could agree upon. For many centuries, the True Soul Pact was honored by both the righteous and the wicked for the mutual benefit of discerning proper judgment.
But the Abyss crossed the line. The legions of the Abyss were able to break into the Pokémon world of Talandra after a portal was created by the dark necromancers and warlocks of the infernal pits. But like a thief in the night, they were silent, spreading among normal Pokémon as sleeper cells while causing no initial alarm or suspicion. These agents of the Abyss made no friends or enemies among the living Pokémon. They simply waited, watching and listening for the moment. Their entry had been undetected by Utopia, and when the Abyss took note of this, they spread even further, their secret shadow moving like an underground plague. They soon settled upon other living worlds of Pokémon, erupting into the very cataclysm that would later be called The Infernal Schism.
That moment of darkest dusk has come, and now the fires of The Schism War have been lit and enrage with soul-consuming flames. Dishonorably, the Abyss ignited its rebellion against Utopia, and have already begun to entrench their morbid pestilence among the living Pokémon of these three ravaged worlds, soon to spread further with every dishonorable victory they acquire. Through dark influence, evil and scourge has spread across all three of these once-beautiful, lively worlds, already plunging the souls of the living into darkness, anxiety, and wickedness. Pokémon, both wicked and righteous, are being ensnared by the shackles of damnation as the dark legions of the Abyss continue to rise to make way for their ultimate plot. Their infernal plan is to grasp the plane of Utopia itself with its hideous gauntlets of damnation, and send the heavenly realm itself plummeting into the foul, fetid trenches of the infernal underworld. Once this happens, no Pokémon, no matter where in the universe they are, will ever see salvation, doomed to suffer the fate of the damned no matter how honorable or righteous they live their lives...
Already, they have begun to carve, butcher, and craft Talandra, Valkea, and Kokoro into the material of nightmares, the same, macabre abomination that The Abyss is, and will soon target others if not suppressed. In time, it is feared that these three worlds will be transformed into the horrific sisters of the Abyss with more to come. Now, the infernal dominion continues to grow and threatens to dominate all existence both in life and beyond death in a final, eternal apocalypse. As the Abyss sneers and smirks at their vile, dishonorable deed, screaming laughter at their cheating act of villainy, Utopia has been blocked from entering the world of the living by the Infernal Barrier, bound to only watch and weep as all of creation succumbs to this unholy apocalypse.
Already, a dark prophecy, one called the Black Doom, has been made, a foresight that has declared all living worlds will be sullied and infested by the Abyss, and once this has been done, Utopia itself will join it as the gauntlets of death seize the heavenly realm by the heart, and laughingly yank it from its celestial haven and send it screaming into the foul pits of burning doom.
Hope for all Pokémon dies for eternity if we fail...
YOUR INTERVENTION
Upon the industrialized world of Talandra inhabited only by Pokémon, you are one of the Indigo Seers, just one of a handful of mystical warrior sages born with powers and capabilities that some Pokémon can only dream of. As a mystic soothsayer, other Pokémon have gone to you for your power of clairvoyance and divination, but never once did you think your powers would be the ultimate gambit against the Infernal Schism. Initially, the Abyss didn't suspect you of being any different from all the others. But, it wasn't long until they realized the danger of that assumption.
Now you're a critical target for their assassins.
The truth came to you in a vision, and visions of the Indigo Seers never lie. The Abyss's infernal plan would have already worked, and all would have been forever lost. But instead, because of you, a small but fading splinter of hope still exists. In a universe so rapidly collapsing out of control, you are but the few grains of sand in the hourglass of doom that cling to the edge and have not plummeted through the infernal vortex that so many are falling through already.
Meanwhile, the Abyss has cut Utopia off, ensuring the souls of the deceased are only pulled into the underworld, and the armies of Utopia are prevented from interfering. You can hear Utopia's cry in your visions and dreams, but it is distorted and distant, only able to stutter incomprehensible statements before being swallowed by the shroud.
But you can change it.
The power of the Indigo Seers goes far beyond the powers of mysticism. Alone, you carry the power to alter the course of the Black Doom Prophecy, to rewrite the dark declaration made by the Abyss's acolytes. And only you have the power to undo the chains and shackles that prevent the armies of Utopia from defending the souls of the living.
You must ensure that The Schism War will take place and be a true war... and not a horrific massacre of woe and eternal grief...
YOUR MISSION OBJECTIVES ARE AS FOLLOWS
The mission has been made clear in the visions you have seen. Only you and the other Seers are capable of changing the course of doom.
Broken Prophecy - The three Brothers of Despair, Xac the deranged Hypno, Undax the diseased Gengar, and Delath the villainous Grumpig, are the ones responsible for writing the Black Doom Prophecy on the Parchment of Fates. Until their dark deed has been undone, what has been written will come to pass, and Utopia and all the worlds of the living will fall. Already, time marches on and the shadow of doom creeps further over everything with every passing second.
The vision has told you that all three Brothers must been slain, and their black blood will need to be mixed together. Once done, the blood has to be used to blot out the dark runes on the Parchment of Fates, and then burned in fire. If and only when the dark words have been blotted will the Parchment of Fates be flammable.
Once this is done, only then will the vice of the Black Doom Prophecy be shattered. Only then will hope have any fighting chance whatsoever. However, you must beware. Xac, Undax, and Delath are formidable and merciless opponents, and will not be defeated easily.
Rites of Passage - The Abyss has established a massive stronghold upon Talandra, a dark and truly damned citadel known as the Cathedral to Corruption, currently skewering its way into the fallen city of Sartaras in Victakan. Only the Indigo Seers know that this infernal building is the reason behind the Infernal Barrier, the reason why Utopia's warriors are barred from providing reinforcements. In their haste to establish their offensive front and keep Utopia blocked, the Abyss left this citadel as the only forefront to keeping Utopia barred, and it will be some time before they can reinforce the barrier or provide supplemental protection as their current operations are very resource demanding. At the current moment, they believe no one among the living knows about this weakness in their operation and have made a costly assumption.
The structure will fall and collapse if the Altar to Pain is destroyed by Cleansing Fire, a conjuration ability the Abyss did not think you and the other Indigo Seers possesses. If the Cathedral to Corruption falls, the Infernal Barrier will be shattered, and Utopia's armies will descend from the heavens by the millions. Once the holy battalion arrives, the Abyss will be completely unable to further prevent them from entering the realm of the living again, and their merciless massacre will have to become a war of equal sides. Victory for the Abyss will go from a certainty to a struggle.
Others - While these two missions are of utmost, critical importance, there will be other missions that will need to be accomplished. Stopping key commanders of the Abyss, providing support for Utopia, and undermining the Mandate of Anarchy are but just a few. Some of these missions may require you to head into the heavenly realm of Utopia, while others may only be accomplished by heading into the Abyss itself.
LEGIONS OF THE ABYSS
The undead horrors of the Abyss come in many forms. These are but a few of the ones you have seen in your clairvoyance of the darkness. They come for you, knowing you are the last hope that the living have against the dark campaign. Your ability to foresee their plans, reveal their weaknesses, and undermine their campaign of darkness is a threat they will not ignore.
You must continue to defy them by fighting them and resisting their dark influence. Until Utopia becomes involved in the fight to bless the weapons of the resistance, the slain members of the Abyss can only be sent back to the foul pits where they came from upon their "second death," where unfortunately they can regroup and resurface again in less than a year. Killing them, however, does buy precious, invaluable time.
The Infernal Scourge - These fetid, ghoul-like Pokémon are the souls of the wicked. Those that murdered others and enjoyed it. Those that acted as fiends even in life, and now continue to seek that same, murderous desire in undeath. Others have been so corrupted by sin that they know nothing but slaughter and mindless mayhem. Like many other horrors of the Abyss, they bleed black.
All they want is to see you die, and inevitably join their ranks of the damned.
The Cohorts of Chaos - These blackened, shadow-colored Pokémon are the main workhorse of the Abyss's legion. These foul but strong warriors of doom never breathed life, and have always been savage combatants of the Abyss's army since their grotesque creation. While many of them still reside in the Abyss, many of them have set foot upon the living worlds of Pokémon, infecting the living and the environment with their pestilence and plagues of sin and vice.
Unlike the legions of the Infernal Scourge, the Cohorts have the power to wound souls, but not kill them. Wounds inflicted by the Cohorts and their jagged weapons of darkness will not heal on their own, and must be healed by Utopia's clerics or by their heavenly salves.
The Cohorts of Chaos are commanded by Meiun and Banjin, the Brothers of Doom, the twisted renditions and rejected legendaries that are the Fallen of Lugia and Ho-oh. They currently command their dark legions from the Abyss.
The Fallen - Every living and deceased Pokémon has a Fallen, a powerful, evil rendition of themselves made of all the sins that Pokémon has committed in their lives. Yes, even you have your own Fallen lurking in the shadows as it tries to hunt you down. The more sins a Pokémon commits, the more powerful their Fallen is. But in contrast, a righteous and honorable Pokémon is mirrored by only a weak and frail Fallen. While Fallen are rare to see outside of the Abyss, there are a few that have surfaced in the world of the living, often serving as captains of the Infernal Scourge or the Cohorts of Chaos.
Fallen can also wound souls, but seeking the soul of their counterpart to infest them with an overwhelming darkness is their highest priority. However, they will not hesitate to corrupt those that seek to stop them or hinder the efforts of their dark allies. A soul that is defeated by their Fallen becomes forever corrupted, lost in mind, body, and soul into a never-ending whirlwind of sin and malice. These Fallen become "The Defilers," and are stronger and harder to kill as they are the living embodiments of sin and insanity.
Defeating and destroying a Fallen is extremely difficult, although possible (definitely not in groups). Upon destroying a Fallen, the counterpart soul undergoes a divine, angelic transformation, a state of such infinite white purity that they become Utopian Paladins, resistant to the temptation of sin and influence of corruption, and possess powers of holy purity and righteousness. These Paladins are very rare, and make up some of the strongest warriors Utopia has for this very reason...
Legendary Pokémon also have Fallen renditions (such as the case of Meiun and Banjin, and other Abyssal commanders). Meanwhile, The Fallen are commanded by Zaiaku, the Overlord of Sin, the twisted, dark travesty of Arceus himself.
NOTE: It is impossible to kill your own Fallen alone. Seeing your own Fallen generates a feeling of paralyzing and unfathomable fear, and the fact any wounds your Fallen rendition receives, you will receive as well with an excruciating level of pain. As the Fallen begins dying and bleeds out of control, you suffer the same, and only until they are completely destroyed will you undergo the holy rebirth.
The Legion of Xov - The Legion of Xov is made up of dark, shadowy, blob like enigmas that are living entities of the void, vaguely resembling black, oily Pokémon with glowing red eyes.
Xov's minions of despair are infamous for their ability to vaporize souls upon consumption, and erase their existence from memory of all. Meanwhile, Xov has many lieutenants, sub-commanders that have lost all resemblance to Pokémon. As for Xov himself, he resembles a massive, shifting mass of voids and nothingness, constantly shaping itself into intimidation, resembling skulls, unholy symbols, clawed hands, and other infernal shapes.
Even just touching Xov or any of his underlings results in full and total erasure. But even worse, the means to destroy them still remains a mystery. Thankfully, these abominations remain exclusively in the Abyss, although those that would venture into its depths would need to beware.
Others - There are many other types of enemies and Abyssal threats you may find in your travels. These are but a few of the followers of infernal evil.
TALANDRA
http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/7889/talandramapbrokensun.png (http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/7889/talandramapbrokensun.png)
Gutted and bleeding from the inside, Talandra is just one of several victim worlds who has had its core become a channel to the Abyss as the once lively world now rots from the inside out. Talandra, once a world of ingenious Pokémon inventions such as airships, clockwork devices, steam engines, and other steampunk inventions is now on the brink of destruction.
City locations with red names and areas on the map covered with a reddish-black blotch are areas that have become overrun by the Abyss's legions, and are quickly spreading like cancer. The once majestic capital city of Sartaras is now the stronghold of the Abyss upon Talandra. Like the other defiled and corrupted cities across the bleeding planet, it cannot be saved, and must be destroyed and eradicated like a vile, festering tumor.

Yeah, there are. They were mainly used by Pokemon to get around type disadvantages or in between using using their elemental attacks.

Name: Duke Stellar
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Species: Ledian
Description: Duke Stellar received his last name because of his distinctive birthmark. Instead of the normal spots that regular Ledyba have on their crimson bodies, he was born with a shell covered in small black stars, marking him as an Indigo Seer from the moment that he hatched. These stars remained even after he evolved and turned away from his responsibilities as a seer. These stars are an unwelcome reminder of his past, so Duke wears a dark brown duster to cover up his most distinctive feature. The cloak opens up in the back to allow for the Bug-type’s wings to spread, in case a quick getaway is required, and also carries two holsters for his twin six-shooters. On his feet, Duke wears tanned leather boots of the same color as his duster and hat, save for the silver spur on the back of each boot.
Aside from his clothing and distinctive scattering of stars, Duke mostly appears to be an ordinary specimen of adult male Ledian, possessing the scarlet coloration of other members of his species, as well as the four arms that grant him his impressive fist-fighting abilities. Besides his ever-present scowl, the only thing that might tip someone off that Duke Stellar is not a typical Ledian is that the antenna that poke out of holes cut in his wide-brimmed hat are longer than usual, giving him a slightly greater amount of sensory input than other Ledian. It has been hypothesized that, like his birthmark, these longer antenna are a hallmark of Duke’s status as an Indigo Seer.
Personality: Duke Stellar is not a nice Pokémon. He’s not an exceptionally mean one either, but the Ledian harbors no illusions about just how bad Pokémon can act. He should know, he’s got enough sins weighing on his mind to keep himself busy on those long, sleepless Vectaken nights. While possessing a kind of code of honor, including not hitting women and not resorting to dirty tricks like shooting an opponent in the back, Duke is also quick to anger, especially when intoxicated, leaving to many getting thrown out of a bar, whether through the door or through the window. It would help if Duke had some friends, or even acquaintances, to help restrain him and help him make better decisions, but the Ledian is standoffish, sullen, and largely keeps to himself, reducing the opportunities to make any kind of connections, except with his fists. A large part of this aloofness comes from Duke’s decision to turn away from his family and his abilities as an Indigo Seer. Not wanting to be molded by others still proves a powerful roadblock to positive interactions.
History: Duke Stellar wasn’t always the heavy-drinking, fist-fighting Pokémon that he is today. He was once a Ledyba, born in one of the bigger cities of Azmarax. His parents were amazed at the display of stars on his back and named him Stellar, foreseeing that he would become an Indigo Seer. While his home life was by no means uncomfortable, the young Bug-type chafed under the authority of his parents and hated the hustle and bustle of the city. Not long after starting his schooling, Stellar would skip out on his seer training in order to practice his shot in a local bar with a washed-up old Heracross called “the King” who was a regular fixture there. The older Pokémon took Stellar under his wing, a development not unnoticed by the other patrons of the bar. They would joke that if the Heracross was the King, than that made the young Ledyba “the Duke”.
When his parents inevitably found out where he was and walked in on their child plastering paper targets with lead, they clamped down on him harder, creating an even greater desire to escape the city. Stellar found his chance to runaway a few months later, sneaking aboard an airship that was making its way to Synamax. Unfortunately, when the ship landed in Scarwell to refuel, the Ledyba thought that he had arrived and disembarked. The tough town and the surrounding boom towns in the hostile wasteland were no one’s idea of paradise, but Stellar thrived there. Taking on the moniker of Duke, he performed odd jobs around the area, travelling far and wide in search of work. As he evolved into a Ledian and became a man, Duke became a frequent guest of the many bars in the area, drinking and gambling and getting into fights with alarming frequency. Most of the bartenders knew him on sight, and warned some of their patrons to avoid tangling with the scrappy Bug-type. He didn’t win every fight that he got into, but he sure didn’t have to worry about other Pokémon coming back for more.
Despite living the fast life of a roughneck in a roughneck’s world, Duke couldn’t help but feel like he was missing out on something. Having the freedom that he desired meant that he was totally adrift, no friends or family to miss him when he uprooted from each town to move to the next. The thought of going back to his family sometimes crossed his mind, but it was quickly put down with some liquor. The alcohol also does a bit to help dull the visions and other gifts of being an Indigo Seer, but not nearly enough to halt the visions of doom and destruction that have seized since the Abyss began making its assault. At this point, Duke is laying low, hoping that he won’t be drawn into the conflict, but knowing deep down that there’s no running from his destiny any longer.
Weapons: Duke Stellar primarily relies on his four fists to get out of sticky situations, and prides himself on his scrappy ability to start and finish barroom brawls. Still, sometimes punching doesn’t get the job done, especially for ranged opponents. Rather than rely on some of his natural abilities, the Ledian prefers to rely on two pistols that he stores in pockets hidden inside of his cloak. In the midst of a fight, he can pull two of his hands back, pull out his six-shooters, nicknamed “Pomp” and “Circumstance”, and start firing in the blink of an eye. The pistols possess some stopping power, but they are still fairly light since they cannot be heavy enough as to encumber Duke’s ability to fly. They still can make assailants stop and take notice, leaving the Bug-type to close the gap and start pummeling them with his fists.
So basically Cade Skywalker with a bit of John Wayne thrown in for good effect all trapped in a ladybug body.
Current Goals for the RP:
_ Have Duke ride a Ponyta or other equine Pokémon
_ Have Duke call someone “Pilgrim”
_ Have Duke lasso someone

Name: Theo Myrsky
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Species: Quilava
Description: In most respects Theo looked like a normal Quilava. His Blue fur was about the same color as most Quilavas, he was about the average size, and in most respects he was rather plain and generic. Except for four rather important things: his eyes, his pendant, his birthmark, and his bracelet. Theo's eyes have an interesting ability, one which does not actually aid Theo in any practical way. His eyes, ever since he was born, had changed its color. Theo always believed that it changed color for a reason, but he could never figure out exactly what this was. His bracelet was small, but was inscribed with some of his own seer magic. The bracelet had a pattern of Unknown writing on it, and the writing could be changed when he wanted to change the message. His pendant is his most precious possession and he never takes it off. It is made from a shard of a thunderstone, and is shaped to resemble a blazing sun. This pendant is hung around his neck on a small silver chain. Finally, Theo has a small birthmark on his paw. It does not resemble anything particular by its shape, but it gives the distinct impression that he had a burn, as it caused his fur to look blackened and dead.
Personality: Theo is a quiet thinker. Unfortunately, this gives him a bad habit of assuming that everyone else knows what he knows, unless of course he making purposely sure that everyone else didn't know everything he knew. He also likes to work alone, not because he doesn't like other people, but because he gets a worried feeling that he is doing something wrong when he is working with others. That said, he is rather social and friendly. The more people around him, the more he likes to talk, though not for too long. His knack for quiet thinking also gives off the impression that he knows something most others don't. He has a very strong will to make things fair and even. Some say this is his OCD acting up, as he is somewhat obsessed with things being organized and especially symmetrical. In fact, Theo actually is simply a kind heartened Pokemon who wants to see everyone treated equally and kindly. Unfortunately when this does not happen, Theo has a bad habit of indecision. He naturally wants to do two things: help the people who are being shortchanged, and teach the ones who are not being shortchanged a lesson. In times of peace, he generally went with helping people, but as the Abyss rose he found himself more and more choosing the other choice. Overall, he is a Pokemon who likes balance and neatness, but isn't afraid to get physical if really, really had too.
History: Theo was born to a simple middle class family and community on the edges of Kivian City. His family worked a smiths shop in the City and had become well known for their mastery over metal. However, Theo's powers as an indigo seer generally brought him into contact with more higher up people he consequentially knew very few people of his own age and didn't make any real friends. So for his early years he learned quite a lot of high scholarly things such as being able to read Unknown, but always felt rather unhappy and lonely. This life ended When Theo was seven and he had decided that he had quite enough of all that pish posh nonsense he had to learn each day. So he ran away. Then he came back. He had spent about a month hiding out in a small cave near the beach. Next to the cave were some berry bushes and a small stream, so he never really went hungry or thirsty. He realized however, that he was even less likely to make friends if he was hiding away in a cave and he felt even more lonely without his family. So he went back to his very worried mother and father.
This escape and return seemed to open the eyes of Theo's parents and the family uprooted itself from its home a relocated. They chose a nice home in Emerald Coast, a larger and more nature filled community that was lacking a good blacksmith anyway. Here Theo was given more freedom and he grew up happily. He spent much of his time developing his seer skills on his own until he actually quite good at using them. He also made two very good friends: Joshua the machop and Via the vulpix. He also made friends with other Seers through his powers now that he could better use them. For the next several years Theo was happy and at peace as he grew up in Emerald Coast. On his 18th Birthday, Via gave him his thunderstone pendant and confessed her love for him. He too had been harboring affection for her, so this added to his happiness.
Over the next two years however, he decided to devote himself to studying combat, as one of his dreams had warned him of dangers in the near future. He studied in the great Emerald dojo, a well known combat dojo where anyone could come to learn. Theo learned quickly and by the end of the two years had become very good at move based combat, but found he was terrible with any physical weapons such as knifes or guns. He returned to his home just before the the infernal Schism to discover that Via had vanished only the day before. As the Infernal Schism began to take place, he was told by a dream that Via had been captured for an unknown reason by the Abyssal forces. He then dedicated himself to fighting the Abyssal powers and all their evil.
Weapons: Theo does not carry physical weapons due to his lack of ability to use them effectively. He fights solely with his Pokemon moves and his seer powers.
Other things: It's amazing how your writing style changes when listening to an audiobook. I was listening to Douglas Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy while I wrote the description and you can probably see the difference.

Could they channel their attacks through their weapons?
That... depends on the nature of the attack and the weapon. Sending electricity or fire through a sword is possible, but not water or ground-based attacks.
I have a quick question about the location of the portal from the Abyss into the Pokemon world. Is it in Sartaras or is it somewhere nearby in a more remote and secret location somewhere in the landscape?
It's in Sartaras. And yeah, that place is a real mess.
As for SUs:
Phantasm.Angel - Ha, ha, gotta love the lasso part. Yee-haw!
Duke looks good in my opinion! Accepted and all set to roll out.

SISTER SERIES AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Excuse me while I go for the Crazy Awesome route here.
Name: Professor (Actually Doctor) Talahass von McYarglefargle The Ninth!!! BEHOOOOOOLD IT AND DESPAIR!!!!
Gender: MASCULINE
Age: Fourty Nine (AND STILL KICKING)
Species: Goodra
Description: The Professor himself is a taller, darker-colored Goodra, to a very noticeable degree. Where other Goodra would be pink, purple and green, the Professor is purple, black and a very dark green, with his eyes being an electric blue color. He's also a whole foot taller than most of his brethren species. The Professor is usually unseen without his white laboratory coat and a pair of laboratory goggles, which really only serve to make him look more like the mad scientist he is.
Personality: The Professor would look to have completely lost his mind, and as it stands it's doubtful he has much in the way of standard sanity. Mercifully, he's only really going to get dangerous if you don't call him Professor-and even then he's going to go full Large Ham mode for a good half-minute, doing NOTHING but yelling out how insulted he is, before officially attempting to eat you alive. (He's never succeeded in eating anyone alive. Ever.) Outside of that, the Professor is prone to the grandiose and nonsensical, and will typically only pay attention to whoever's speaking to him if they're talking about SCIENCE!. And yes, SCIENCE! is allcaps and with an exclamation mark in the eyes of the Professor, the most deranged and impossible secrets of existence being his goals and nothing getting in the way. Every invention of his is a child, each and every last one the fruits of his labors and the love of his life, and threatening them is the OTHER big thing that will make him attempt to eat you alive. It's a shame they usually explode or otherwise malfunction violently, though, so he has very few successes of any note whatsoever still intact, an issue brought about by a lack of funding.. Fortunately, the Professor has recently started using this variety of bad luck in terms of inventions and made lemonade by creating several explosive weapons out of it, including his GRENADE LAUNCHER.
History: Professor Talahass Von McYarglefargle The Ninth, the, well, ninth in a line of Indigo Seers, was born to the parents of Talahass Von McYarglefargle the Eighth and Hilda McYarglefargle. Talahass Von McYarglefargle the Eighth (A Sceptile) was a brilliant, eccentric entrupeneur who managed to invest heavily into several inventors with an almost ludicrous serendipity at his back (in all reality, these were the application of his foresight as an Indigo Seer), making nigh-implausible amounts of money and allowing his son to attend some of the most honored private schools known to Talandra. His mother was completely unkonwn, but the Eighth McYarglefargle has insisted that she was a wild one and couldn't be held onto anywhere forever-not like that bothered the father nor the son much, as the son was equally eccentric from birth and the father pretty much knew she would not be settling down. Her actual identity is unknown to everyone but the Eighth.
The Professor's life was hallmarked by his fascination with the invested inventors, who were all too willing to share their inventive genius with the young then-Goomy and, in turn, culture the young Professor's obsession with SCIENCE!. For his age, he demonstrated tremendous abilities regarding anything remotely scientific, with a complete disinterest in anything not remotely related to it, passing half of his classes as the absolute number one by five miles and others only because of his absolutely insane test scores outweighing the lack of homework (and his father's influence on occasion). He didn't make too many friends, either, preferring to focus on his newest creations even then-which, even then, were usually dangerous. IT's safe to say that sometimes his foresight as an Indigo Seer saved his life from rather explosive ends to his life.
Eventually, he got his PhD for Engineering at the excellent age of 22, at which point he went on to become a full-time inventor, with a considerable gift of money from his father to help him kickstart his projects. Unfortunately, despite his brilliance, many of his inventions didn't succeed nearly as much as he would have hoped towards the beginning. Mostly because they exploded. Violently. He had some successes, but not in many quantities. He had to double as the Indigo Seer he inherently was to get money for his actual scientific career, and despite the fact this Indigo Seer abilities saved his life on many occasions (namely avoiding explosions), he found it incredibly boring to do.
Of course, being intelligent, he eventually managed to realize something: If most of what he does winds up exploding, why not make something that takes this idea and runs with it like its the Olympics? (Let us assume for this literary device that the Olympics actually exist for some reason). After much tinkering and trapping, the Professor eventually came up with one of his few masterpieces: a Grenade. A bit MORE tinkering, and he used his brand of ingenuity to create a steam-powered grenade launching device,
Of course, at the time, no war was going on, and no combined resistance could be had from anywhere, so naturally he didn't find many takers. Doubly so, the (unfortunately named) Syn City was fairly peaceful and noted as one of the least crime-ridden cities on Talandra, separated from most everything.
Cue Infernal Schism.
Syn City was unaffected in the initial takeovers, but it seemed like very few victories shone out of the whole war, which was quickly becoming a slaughter, and the captured city of Volgoia, along with an increasingly long reach of Abyssal territory, kept them on-guard. Meanwhile, the Professor, to his general annoyance, kept getting some very distracting visions from both attempts of Utopian heralds to get one of their few pieces moving in the right direction AND the general gloom and doom of the Black Doom. He also picked up the identity of its writers and the nature of the Infernal Barrier, as did most Indigo Seers. The visions egged him on, keeping him more and more distracted. More driven by science, naturally the visions persisted until, grumpily, he pulled himself away from work and decided to do some practical field testing with his creations.
Yes, his entire motivation in this war is because some visions bothered him, and how he's gonna show the Abyssal Armies what for, with SCIENCE!
Weapons: First and foremost...THE GRENADE LAUNCHER. It, and grenades in general, are his private invention because due to his living area it's not caught on yet and not having enough materials (his father's money ran dry). However, the short of it is, the grenades have a mixture of gunpowder, flammable chemicals, and toxic sludge, all ready to explode upon impact. The grenade itself is pushed out of the barrel via a blast of pressurized steam. Sadly, the Professor hasn't gotten around to creating the safety features of modern grenades, and nor is the mixture he owns particularly deadly in a splash sense, but it certainly makes each and every hit extremely powerful in its own right, perfect for armored targets and tougher Pokemon. He hasn't developed any safety features, however-instead, if the grenade's casing breaks it's almost certainly going to explode.
Of course...It's a point-blank explosive. Not too survivable, and the specific ingredients make the blasts toxic as well.
Outside of this, he has a pressure-powered vanilla steamgun, which can make for some fierce burns, but it's not terribly powerful outside of the burns. After that, he goes for standard elemental attacks, which isn't all that unfeasible given he's a freaking Goodra, and an Indigo Seer on top of it.
Other: I don't think I can properly say how much I hate the fact that I cannot physically make it more obvious that this guy is a large ham.
Also, is it just me or have I seen this map before, for some other RP involving a Shaymin Infection?

It's... TAZZ!!!
The Nonexistent Tazz - I immediately thought of this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMWGXt979yg) as I was reading your character. He's fantastic. AND accepted!
And yeah, I did use the same map for Viral Overgrowth. It... takes a while to make a decent map. So... yeah, I reused it for this with a little doctoring up. You have a great eye and memory for catching that!

Name: Kaxo Sychal
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Species: Lopunny
Description:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y109/Ultradyne/Lopunny_in_the_stadium_comish_by_Shivita.jpg
(every Lopunny should look like that!)
Standing 4'6" and weighing 80 pounds, Kaxo is taller than the typical Lopunny, and is somewhat physically stronger. He has a few scars from brawling, but they're nothing extreme. Meanwhile, unlike other Lopunnies, his fur isn't puffy at the end of his ears, or around his wrists and shins. He absolutely hates that look. Instead, it has a more wild and brushed back appearance, making him look more wild rather than puffy and goofy.
Kaxo wears a black bandana around his forehead, and likes keeping "tough guy" aura around him. His powers as a Indigo Seer aren't fully known to those around him, and he likes the way it unnerves those that might otherwise try and attack or cheat him out of personal gain. Lastly, he wears a metallic pendant with a triangular Celtic knot-like design, a hand-down from his deceased father. Some say it has mysterious powers, but in truth, it doesn't. He likes making other Pokémon think it does.
Personality: Impatient and reckless, Kaxo gets easily bored and absolutely hates waiting. Meanwhile, he doesn't know fear either, but he isn't stupid and knows when he can't handle an opponent. If things look like they're out of his hands, he's not going to stick around just to "die in honor," but he doesn't forget faces like that and puts them on "the list" for later. Kaxo is also a brawler, doesn't tolerate punks and thugs, and as a professional bounty hunter, he's done more than enough butt-kicking with the scum of the world to know how to beat the stuffing out of someone, drag their pulverized carcass to the authorities, and collect.
Kaxo doesn't mind helping others... for a price. If forced to take an I.O.U., he will bother the heck out of that client until he gets what he wants. And if they can't pay back in money, he makes them pay back with service, and usually dirty work at that. Case in point, you really don't want to be in debt to Kaxo. Pay upfront for your own good.
In combat, Kaxo strikes like a ninja and uses speed and agility, although he still relies on physical brawn from time to time. He likes using the surrounding environment as well, and is prone to turn just about anything into a weapon. He also enjoys exploiting weak-points, and there are many who would call his rather merciless style of fighting dishonorable, but to Kaxo, there's nothing honorable about walking around with an obvious weakness and expecting others to attack areas which are obviously well protected. With that, he's quick to strike in the back or in the flank, or any other sensitive area that's vulnerable to a strike. He also likes to trash talk his adversaries and has a whole library of insults to throw at them.
Meanwhile, he's nomadic, and travels from city to city to collect bounties and do the kind of work law enforcement would rather not touch. His Seer ability is extremely helpful when it comes to tracking down felons and criminals, and it allows him to be the first on the scene before anyone else can get them. He also has quite a bit of fun at their expense with them before turning them into the authorities. As another rather shameful profession, he's also a grave robber and a tomb raider, as he feels the dead have no use for the stuff anymore and it's better he brings that money and wealth back into the economy. He also thinks superstitions and old wives tales are just stupid. He'd smash a million mirrors, open an umbrella indoors while walking under a step ladder on Friday the 13th if he didn't think it was a waste of time.
In the meantime, Kaxo shows no fear of the Abyss, although he does find them to be a pain and a frustration to deal with. The whole prospect of bounty hunting has utterly been eliminated with their arrival, and he hates the idea of them taking over.
History: Kaxo was born in the desert city of Minacen, and as a Buneary, he was often very active and prone to mischief on top of being easily distracted. He often had problems with authority, didn't respect elders, and was infamous among other young Pokémon for "not playing fair." To Kaxo, bending the rules is thinking outside the box. His parents weren't exactly pleased about the behavior, but Kaxo was good at coming up with justifiable reasons.
Kaxo discovered his Seer abilities early on when he realized he possessed even more capabilities that normal psychic Pokémon, and especially more than others of his own kind. But he never made it apparent to anyone, keeping it his little secret. He didn't hesitate to use it to cheat, and only stopped when it got boring. Any time he got frustrated playing cards or some hide and seek game, he knew just want to do to spin the tables around.
In the meantime, he liked to travel. To him, Minacen wasn't a bad city, but he knew there were other things for him to see. He was also too restless to settle down somewhere and wasn't the kind to buy a house and take up honest work. Going from inn to inn or sleeping out in a tent was just fine with him.
After evolving and maturing, he liked the idea of bounty hunting. There were many Pokémon criminals and thieves out in the world, and he couldn't help but feel the itch to bag them and watch them get thrown into jail. Not many Pokémon were up for the task, and the profession paid well. But very often, just as Kaxo was making a name for himself in one town after cleaning it up, he'd move on before anyone really got to know him or remember his name, which was good as he didn't want people to rely on him or expect him to do things. He was often known for working alone, except when calling in a favor. But very often, other Pokémon just saw him for being a shady Lopunny.
Now, he hates the idea of being hunted by the Abyss's assassins, but he knows and understands why it's happening. In truth, he wants to grind their gears and wreck their plans. Sure, he'll be a nice guy and help Utopia, but he'll do it in his own style and never be politically correct about his approach.
Weapons: Kaxo carries two daggers and plenty of throwing knives. But he often likes stealing the enemy's weapon and pulverizing them with it. He'll use a gun if they're around, but he can't be bothered to keep his own and have to deal with buying ammo and cleaning and maintaining it.

You know, my friends and I were designing a RPG computer game and at one point we were each given one of the main characters to design.
My character happened to be scientist with a mind 500 years ahead of its time.
He also liked to use a grenade launcher which he invented, as well as a fondness for other explosive things.
He also had a long interesting name, though it was his first name instead of his last name.
He was Rondanenthurin Uundae III
In fact, the only real difference between this character and Professor McYarglefargle VII is the fact that Rondanenthurin was not crazy.
I got a real kick out of this coincidence.
Also, does anyone else find it interesting that the best RPs always seem to involve the daunting prospect of complete anarchy?

The best heroes come out when the struggles are the hardest. If there's anything I've learned from video games and movies when it comes to designing RPs and storylines, bingo, there's your key element to build off of.

There’s too many men in here, we need to even this out a little more. Also, you can't forget the criminal.
Name: Raven Karan
Gender: Female
Age: 24
Species: Mightyena
Description: Raven stands at about 3’05 and weighs roughly 80 pounds. Her coat is a sleek black color, almost greasy looking from the way it shimmers whenever light reflects off of it. Her eyes are reversed, a genetic defect the doctors called it, so that her sclera are red and her irises yellow. Her snout has a scar through it from a near miss catch with the authorities. Her fangs and claws are sharp to help with her speed and strength, as being a quadruped Pokemon means she doesn't have access to many weapons. Raven also has issues due to difficulties in her past, leading her body to sometimes just give out on her for extended periods of time. During this time, Raven is unable to move and must remain still until her strength returns. She wears a charm given to her by her brothers that she wears around her neck at all times. It is her most prized possession.
http://www.ezimba.com/work/150710C/ezimba19276339657600.gif
Permission to use given when the transaction was made in Ninetales12's shop on Pokefarm
Personality: Raven might seem a little rough on the edges, but she's truly a thrill seeker on the inside. Raised with three brothers, it is only natural that she have a natural competitiveness built within her. To those who first approach her, she seems cold and unconcerned, as a dark type Pokemon stereotype would lure many to believe. However, when they get to know her and her trade, her clients begin to realize that she's not as stereotypical as the authorities would have you believe. Raven doesn't work for cash, she likes money, but that's not her game. She's out to have a fun time while doing her job, terrorizing the authorities and making off with the goods. Life is merely a game to her and she knows what buttons are the right ones to push. Raven only cares for herself though, she's not a very trusting individual. She works to make sure she makes it in life and doesn't care if anyone else does. If one wants to earn her trust, they must become like family to her. Raven's ultimate goal is to reunite with her three brothers, or at least find out what happened to them.
History: Dark types were never well liked Scarwell, especially not quadruped dark types like Raven. They were seen as the scum of the earth, the common criminals, and the unwanted. Raven was abandoned at barely a day old with her litter in the streets. People passed the crying pups without a second thought, believing these creatures deserved to die rather than infest the streets of their town with their filth. By the time someone who did care came by, it was too late. A Zoroark, the owner of the dark type orphanage on the edge of town, was only able to rescue one pup, the rest having already died from exposure to the elements. The Zoroark took all the pups to the orphanage and nursed the one surviving pup back to health as best she could while also giving the other twelve Poochyenas a proper burial in the graveyard behind the building. The Audino that served as the doctor in the building predicted that Raven would live, but that she would be underdeveloped due to the lack of necessary vitamins in her first day of life. Nevertheless, the Zoroark refused to give up on the Poochyena and named her Raven Karan.
Raven grew up with the other dark types in the orphanage, but was still subject to some discrimination due to her walking on four legs instead of two. The group of bullies tried to force her to walk on two legs, but Raven's weak body was unable to take the strain and she was never able to advance past four legs. Thus, Raven was forced to join the other quadrupeds. She quickly found this environment more suitable, becoming friends with an Absol named Axel, a Houndour named Cerberus, and an Umbreon named Selini. The four became like family, never leaving each others' sides for more than a few minutes at a time. Knowing that Raven was weaker than they, her three brothers always protected her when the bullies were around, and Raven wanted to be just like them. However, it was not until Cerberus evolved that Raven showed any true drive to get stronger.
Raven had been playing outside with her brothers when she spotted an interesting looking Shiftry lingering by the orphanage. He beckoned her to follow him and she did. It was a shift kidnapping, and had Cerberus not send the whole thing, Raven wouldn't be who she was today. Cerberus chased after the Shiftry, was originally losing until he evolved mid-fight, then he won and rescued his sister. Raven wanted to evolve too, that way she could fight off anyone who wanted to hurt her or her family. From that day forward, Raven began to train hard with her brothers. She pushed her fragile body beyond its limits and many times nearly killed herself, but she shined greatly through all her training. As if meant to be a birthday present, when Raven turned thirteen, she evolved into a Mightyena. Then, everything went to hell. In a series of event that started with arson, Raven's life took a turn for the worst. The orphanage was caught in a fire that many speculate was set by anti-dark type radicals. Many were lost in the fire, including Madam Lori, the Zoroark who had rescued them all. The dark types were forced onto the streets, hungry, homeless, and in dire need of jobs. Raven's small pack of four stole for food and did whatever they could to make money, but nothing seemed to work until Raven took a job as a thief. That's when her true potential showed. She completed the task with ease and they snared a recurring client. As the jobs increased in difficulty, Raven only excelled. Word of her skill spread, and Raven was soon the breadwinner of the household. But, it wasn't long until a job went wrong. It had been a trap and the authorities nearly caught her. Raven watched away with a sliced open nose and nothing more, but she didn't realize she led the authorities right back to her base. When Raven returned from work the following day, all three of her brothers were missing with a note that said, "Pleasure doing business with you."
Raven grew enraged and destroyed nearly a block of property by accident. It was then that her seer powers began to manifest. One of her clients realized what she was and took her under his wing. Noble the Honchkrow taught Raven how to manifest her abilities, control them, and contain them. Raven learned how to not rely on them in fights, but be able to quickly use them if necessary. Now a professional thief, the Mightyena seeks to find her brothers and take revenge on the ones who kidnapped them.
Weapons: Due to her lack of ability to stand on two legs for very long, Raven relies solely on her fangs, claws, and speed for weapons.
Ultimate goal:
_Have Raven find her brothers at some point

*plops finished SU here*
Name: Shiro Minamoto, Lugal of Jansen
Gender: Somehow, the floating sword and shield is male
Age: 22
Species: Aegislash
Description: The Lugal of Jansen towers over the others of his kind. He “stands” at a height of 2 meters, and seems even bigger given that he’s usually floating around. His pommel and shield are marked with sea colored, runic tattoos, declaring him Jansen’s diaspora Lugal. As he draws on his spiritual power, the tattoos glow more and more, becoming impossible to miss as he fights longer. His blade is very well polished, and his shield is just as immaculate.
As of right now, Shiro spends most of his time under a large cloak that hides most of his body from view. However, underneath, Shiro does not wear much. His main accessory is a clear, glass-like stone on a choker around his handle; it is the Dusk Stone he evolved with, the one sentimental item he allows himself. He has a Spell Tag tied to the end of his hilt so that he can hit harder with his spiritual energy. The only other thing he carries a special pack with him filled with medicine and cash, stealthily using the shadows generated by his cloak to carry it (to outside observers, it looks like he’s carrying it on his back normally).
Personality: Shiro’s personality is defined by the fact that he is Lugal. His absolute focus on his people: he frequently will state “a ruler is no true ruler without his people to guide.” And he is no hypocrite: he lives by this maxim, every second of every day. He is always willing to help, especially when he is helping one of his people. However, it is not exclusively limited to them alone: wherever he may find the oppressed, the downtrodden, the hurt, he will act as champion and leader.
But do not mistake kindness for weakness or stupidity. Indeed, while he is always willing to be kind and to help, he is not in any way a pushover or naive. He has a gift for fighting that is only enhanced by his future sight, and he is very willing to resort to bloodshed should it prove necessary. And where violence fails, he has some ability in diplomacy and guile: he’d much prefer to be up front, but he is aware that leaders must frequently keep secrets and doing so is no sin so long as it helps his people. He has power in spades, both in war time and in peace.
However, Shiro’s power did not come from nothing: he has something of a dark side that thirsts for power. While he is aware of his fault and will usually keep it in check, he has to constantly remind himself that something that looks like it might benefit his position now will almost always carry some sort of price. His main motive for seeking power is to have the leverage to help restore his people: however, this drive is easy to corrupt and can lose its selfless focus if Shiro does not take care to keep himself in check. Only time will tell whether Shiro will take the dexter path or the sinister one.
History: Shiro was born to the governing family of Jansen, the only child of the previous lugal and her Cofagrigus knight and consort. As heir to the throne of the lugal, Shiro was drilled from a young age in the sciences, the arts of violence and diplomacy, and the ethics of how to rule. He liked the idea of his role from a young age, showing both a thirst for knowledge and a desire both to help his people and for power from an early age. He evolved for the first time by the age of 11 years old, and as was tradition in the royal court, evolved again on a journey through the Synata Desert, acquiring his Dusk Stone and evolving a scant three years later.
Throughout his life, Shiro found that his dreams would frequently come true: this would especially apply when such visions involved either him or his parents in some kind of mortal danger. He had thought it some sort of oddity and kept it hidden, until he had an intuition about one enemy to the throne too many. His father realized that Shiro was an Indigo Seer, and informed the Aegislash of his talent. It took two years after his final evolution for Shiro to seek visions on command and respond to them in combat time, but by the age of 16, Shiro came fully into his own as a Seer.
As Shiro grew, he constantly observed how his mother governed. He watched carefully how Lugal Michiko conducted her business, how she was kind but did not allow injustice to touch her realm. He saw how her subjects respected her will and her intelligence, and followed her commands without complaint. He saw her kindness and mercy, but also observed as she enacted justice, supplanting brutal vengeance with firm punishment. He admired her strength tempered with her kindness and sought to emulate her.
Time passed as Shiro sought to keep both his skills and his wits sharp in preparation for inheriting the throne. He acquainted himself with his subjects, acquired both his mother’s gentle touch and her firm hand, and learned to apply them judiciously. When he turned 18, Lugal Michiko stepped down from the throne, and Shiro became lugal of the city state of Jansen. He was loved by almost all of his subjects: the city state ran smoothly and prospered thanks to the mineral rich Synata Desert giving them plenty to trade.
Of course, then came the one dangerous event Shrio entirely failed to predict: the Infernal Schism.
At first, Jansen was one of the cities less affected by the Schism: Abyssal creatures were quickly rooted out and destroyed, as Jansen had both competent disaster relief and a competent military. However, Jansen stands on ground with high concentrations of spiritual energy, and so the Abyss wanted control of it. Several external attacks were launched, but all were repelled.
All except one.
Undax the Gengar personally came to Jansen and delivered an ultimatum to Shiro: surrender, or die. Shiro, naturally, chose option three, and recommended that Undax do something anatomically impossible. The Aegislash felt confident that, between his strong military and his hidden Seer powers, Jansen would be able to triumph against the Abyss.
He did not count on Undax having access to Shiro’s Fallen.
The formerly highly prosperous Jansen is now burning rubble, most of its citizens massacred. Shiro barely got away with his life, and only managed to spare a scant few of his subjects from the ensuing obliteration. The city-state is now entirely in a state of diaspora, and Shiro is howling for Undax’s blood for more reasons than mere saving the world. The lugal is on his own, far away from his home, and desperately using his sight in an attempt to find allies, save the oppressed, and as much as possible, stay moving long enough that the Abyss cannot find him and finish the job before he can revive Jansen and slake his blade’s thirst for Undax’s blood.
Weapons: His face, his shield, his lower body. He is perfectly capable of using guns, but honestly, why would he when his entire physical form is an amalgamation of deadly weaponry?
Objectives:
_Revive Jansen
_Slay Undax
_Help those without hope.

Given that Duke grew up in the badlands around Scarwell, I guess I get to make him kind of prejudiced against Dark-types now haha.

Name: Moira Magro.
Gender: Female.
Age: 26.
Species: Lucario.
Description: Moira’s Pangoro father passed on the genetics for Moira’s physical build. She’s well-muscled, blunt-snouted, and stands at a whopping 4’4”, very impressive for a Lucario, which gives her the handy ability to loom over other Pokemon when making Intimidation checks. She wears a short, deep blue poncho most of the time, as well as a leather belt around her waist for carrying her weapons, ammo, and stray tools. She has a few small scars on her hands from dealing with fickle machinery, although her fur makes them hard to see. On her right shoulder, she has a tattoo of a pair of black wings spread wide - the emblem of the Black Braviary, typically worn by all of its crew members.
Personality: As a general rule, Moira doesn't want to talk to you. It's not personal; she just happens to be possessed of a naturally prickly personality. While she’s not exactly misanthropic, Moira doesn’t have much use for manners, or for talking when action will suffice. She tends to have a skepticism of most people, believing that strangers are untrustworthy and that only those who are closest to her are worth bothering with for any length of time. Despite this, she isn’t a cruel person - years of being privy to others’ secrets via her Indigo Sight and dealing with sky pirates have instilled her with a good sense of justice. She’s no paladin to go rushing after damsels or dudes in distress, but if she sees trouble, she’ll generally try to help out - so long as diplomacy isn’t required. Most of the time, she would simply rather be building something. She gets bored easily, and is at her most content when she has some sort of task that will occupy both her body and her mind.
History: Moira was born in the city of Jansen to Julienne Magro, a Lucario who ran a somewhat successful repair shop for miscellaneous guns and gadgets. While she never met her father, Julienne painted a rich picture of the Pangoro with “that no good two-timer”, “lying scumbag”, “worst man I’ve ever met”, and other, much more colorful, phrases. It took Moira several years’ worth of growing up to come to the conclusion that her birth was simply an accident, and that Julienne was simply bitter because she had never wanted anything to do with children. This conclusion was affirmed, repeatedly, throughout Moira’s childhood; her Seer visions, which started when she was just a wee pup, were dismissed as nonsense, and more than once Moira went to bed bruised from street scuffles that her mother never cared to keep her out of.
Because of Julienne’s neglectful attitude, Moira spent a lot of time on her own. She learned to defend herself from what little riff-raff lived in the city fairly quickly, and even began to acquire quite the stash of cash by using her Indigo Seer powers to divine the best places to hunt down coins in scrapyards and dumpsters. One of her favorite places to scavenge was Jansen’s busy skyship port, whose garbage bins were rife with loose change and machine parts. On one of her raids, when she was thirteen, she was found by Captain Amelia Pike. Captain Pike was the Nidoqueen who ran the Black Braviary, the fastest and most reliable cargo freighter in all of Synamax, if not all of Talandra herself. The Black Braviary’s gunsmith had recently quit his post, and Captain Pike had needed a pair of small hands to fix one of the guns. Moira, ever bright and inquisitive, was able to complete the job easily, and Captain Pike paid her well for it.
Over the next two years, Moira began to hang around the airport more and more, always anticipating the Black Braviary’s return. For some reason, Captain Pike was having extreme difficulty hiring a reliable gunsmith, and Moira was always the one to perform maintenance whenever the ship came in. Captain Pike became a sort of surrogate mother to Moira; having never been able to bear her own children, the Nidoqueen enjoyed having a child around to teach when the Braviary was docked. Eventually, despite her unenviable home life, Moira found herself content enough to evolve.
At this point, Julienne became angry, demanding to know where her daughter had been spending all her time and where she had been getting her money. Their fights escalated so badly that, sick to death of her current position, Moira took her stash of cash, stole the ceremonial dagger that had hung on the mantel since before her birth so that a void was left to remember her by, and fled to the Black Braviary. Captain Pike was surprised - she had been hoping to take Moira on as a full crew member, but not so soon - but accepted Moira as the ship's new Master Gunner, in charge of maintaining the ship's guns or building new ones at need.
From there, Moira settled into a comfortable routine. She got on decently with most of the ship’s crew, although a few were unhappy with having such a young Pokemon on board while others found her Indigo Seer powers disturbing. Other crew members came and went, but Moira remained by Captain Pike’s side for over a decade. Over time, Moira learned everything she could about gunsmithing - her job made her responsible for the ship’s equipment, but she also fixed up the crew’s firearms for a reasonable fee; between this and studying schematics whenever the Braviary was docked, she learned how to make weapons from scratch. She herself became a knowledgeable and skilled markswoman; this augmented her development of mind and body, and her talents and Seer powers made her quite a formidable force.
Moira stayed on the Black Braviary through everything from pirate battles, to engine failures, to childish vandalization - up to and including the Infernal Schism. At first, the Black Braviary was largely unaffected, though the crew noticed their overall pay decreasing due to their customers all lacking money, while the jobs grew ever more dangerous. The Braviary remains in service, ferrying goods between free towns, and tending to focus more on their clients' life-or-death needs rather than the coins in their pockets.
Weapons: At all times, Moira carries a hunting rifle that she personally built and modified for tip-top accuracy and minimal jamming and kickback. The rifle has a lot of stopping power, although the bullets she uses won’t pierce heavy armor.
Besides the rifle and its spare rounds, Moira still carries the dagger that she stole from her mother. The dagger is near-useless to her, however, as she is skilled in hand to hand combat.
Objectives:
_ Ensure that the Black Braviary crew stays alive.
_ Kill Abyssal pests.
_ Build some sick guns.
EDIT: Ah, crap, this is why I should've just made my reserve post just a reserve post. I'll go delete the WIP.

Looking closely at the Signups, there seem to be TWO Brothers of Despair: One for the Hypno/Gengar/Grumpig combo who wrote the Black Doom Prophecy and one for the commanders of the Cohorts of Chaos, the Fallen of Lugia and Ho-Oh. I presume this was a mistake on your part, Neo?
Perhaps the name of the Vile Gemini will work better for the leaders of the Cohorts of Chaos, as a recommendation?

Well this is awkward. Both Phantasm.Angel and NobleJanobii are interacting with my character, but because of the circumstances of the interaction, I can't respond to both unless I find a way to talk to one, leave them, then run into and talk to the other one all in a single post. Yeah, I'm not sure what locked it up.
Would it be possible to break away from people for a little while, at least until they come back? You could have something suddenly distract your character, causing you to separate and allow you to keep active at least until they come back.

I might try too, might be a little odd considering how long I've been in contact with noble and how I'm technically following her at the moment, but still. I know most people in the RP are still active on PxR (mostly because they're helping with StoS), but I guess their just too busy to sit down and write out a longer post for the RP, as it can take some time.
I'll see what I can do. None of the other RPs I've looked into have picked up at all, so this is the only active RP I'm actually in. Which is sad since RP is my thing.
