Slow, Laggy PXR!

ray_quazaa Halp! The site is going really slowly. The main site seems to work fine for me but the forum is lagging crazily. Everyone I've talked to is experiencing this problem too. D:


If you or anyone else can provide any insight as to why this is happening, please do. It's driving me a little insane and I know I'm not the only one. xD

I've been seeing 500-series error messages off and on, so I'd say this is probably the server hosting the forums having issues. Since it's still responding (slowly), I'd guess that it's maxing out one or more resource such as RAM. No idea what exactly is causing the problem though. Could be anything from too much traffic to a memory leak in a running program. It's also possible that the server is hosting multiple sites and traffic associated with one of those sites may be overloading the host.

TL;DR: The server seems to be clogged up, which makes it take forever to respond

I've emailed Ray and I know he's been contacted on skype, so hopefully he can sort this out soon. No one panic! ;) in the mean time, make sure you join our skype chat so you can share in the rage of lag together! :D

Hmm, it was sluggish all day today, but now it seems to be alright.

I also had loading problems/lag. It's fine now for me too, though. x)
