The purpose of this thread is relatively simple. Here, we will keep you, the community, pretty much posted on any happening around the forum, whether it be forum section name changes, promotions, the likes! Anything and everything done to the forum would be documented here in this thread. n_n So be sure to check here pretty frequently!

"Other Discussions" re-named to "Other Chat". We apologize for the inconvenience surrounding the naming of the off-topic forums. It's more or less my fault, since I thought they should have more spice to their names, but eh, I don't really care anymore. xD; Might as well change it back, yeah?
The forum rules have been updated with a new rule about Advertising. Advertising is no longer allowed in threads, posts or blogs.

Hey everyone! Me again (of course)! A bit of a heads up here: The prefixes in the Groups and Clubs forum (http://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?55-Groups-and-Clubs) has been removed. At first, we decided that a method of organization was best for the forum, since there are lots of groups and clubs that people could make of so many things! After trying it out with prefixes, however, it wasn't very successful, so it was agreed to pretty much demolish that idea.

There might be something happening in the future if the forum gets active enough (perhaps splitting them?), but other than that, it'll remain how it is now.

The Forum Staff have redesigned the Community Forum Rules. Along with this redesign, we have created a new infraction system which will be used in effect from now on. Minor, but I have updated profile fields so that you may have actual clickable links to your GCEA/ASB/URPG stats instead of it just displaying the text. You just need to type out the bbcode [*url]http://link-here.com[/url] (without the *) when editing your profile and it will show up as a link. :) You may also link images to your stats if you like but make sure you follow the forum rules. Anyone abusing this will receive an infraction.

You can do this in the advanced editor or by double clicking next to the title of your thread when viewing a board.

We have done a bit of a clean up on the forum!

The Discussion & Debate subforum has been removed. All posts have been moved to Other Chat with a [Serious Discussion] prefix. You can now use this prefix to hold serious discussions and debates in other Chat, as it wasn't active enough to warrant a separate subforum.

The Asian Culture subforum has been removed. All posts have been moved to the Media Hall.

The 6th Generation Pokemon subforum has been renamed to 3DS Generations and moved under Other Pokemon Games.

The Pokemon Challenge Adventures subforum has been renamed to PXR Nuzlocke Challenges and moved to the new forum Pokemon Union Room.

The Wi-Fi & Showdown subforum has been moved to the Pokemon Union Room.

We are currently experiencing some lag! Ray warned us that this might occur during this month, as he is/has been moving some stuff around on our servers. He asked to be contacted if this occurs, as he can redistribute resources (or some other technical stuff...) to stop the lag. He has been contacted and the lag will hopefully be fixed soon! :)

Our Valentine's events have concluded and threads have been moved to the Event Archive (http://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?239-Event-Archive)!

The postbit Pokemon will remain for a few more days. After that you can keep them forever in the About Me section of your profile!

If you fit the following criteria, you can apply to have an infraction removed from your profile. Please note the infraction will still be recorded in our staff forum and may be used to determine future punishments if relevant. It will just no longer be displayed publicly. If you would like to have an old infraction removed from your profile, please contact a Senior Administrator (http://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/forum/showthread.php?5902-PXR-Forum-Staff-List-amp-Information) by PM to find out if you are eligible. The following conditions apply: the infraction must be at least 2 years old, you must not have received another infraction for the same thing, you must not have received an official warning or infraction for anything within the last year.

The Spriter's Sanctuary subforum has been deleted. All threads contained within were moved to the Artist's Easel. Any thread or discussion pertaining to sprite art now belongs in the Artist's Easel, as there is no longer any need to separate the two.

DS Generations and 3DS Generations were two separate subforums, but have now been merged. For the time being, Sun and Moon remains separate and so does Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
