^Quote made famous by FedoraChar, back when she was Charmander009.

Anyway, a good portion of PXR are in the 16-25 age group, which is the stereotypical "do anything stupid you can possibly think of" age, that you look back upon with fondness or regret.

So this is a "What stupid stuff have you done?" Thread. What stupid things have you done? Do you regret it? Why? Why not? How did it end up for you?

So I have been doing stupid stuff a lot more in the last six months.

A few weeks back, I went to a friends house for a gathering, but got there when she was out at the shops buying stuff for dinner. She lived on a hill, so I parked at the top. Then when my friend got there, I had an idea.

I put my car in nuetral, released the handbrake. And let it roll down the hill, trying to see how fast it would get by gravity alone. Granted, I didn't realise that when the car is off, there is no power steering (didn't see the emphasis on the word power). That and I almost hit my friends car when she was coming home.

Then there was the time me and mates went camping illegally on a cliff edge and I got a bit drunk. I got details in a blog.

Those are the two instances of stupid that come to mind. I don't regret them. I am glad I did them. One day, I will hopefully have kids, and I will want to tell them about the funny stuff their dad did when he was a stupid teenager/20something year old. I also want to be a teacher, and I think my students will find some of my shenanigans funny.

So what stupid stuff have you guys done?

The most reckless thing I've done is trespassing on someone else's property. I barely missed getting a bullet in my head. Turns out what he did was illegal but I was 13 so.

Me and a few friends would eat hot cheetos with out anything to drink.

This title caught my eye so this is the best thing I can think of, but I'm sure I have had worse.

So I like fire, and play with fire. I am someone who have picked up burning logs, stood on top of a bonfire, not juggled that's my sister but gotten close. I also melted the bottom off of my shoes by standing in a campfire once, but I didn't know about that one, it was just the coals and I wasn't observant then. Yeah, I'm always the one who deals with the fire in science labs and so on. But I hate it when people gets terms mixed up, I'm not an arsonist, I'm a pyromaniac.

Shooting model rockets. New Jersey has a ban on fireworks, so it's honestly surprising these are still legal. If they didn't deploy their parachute correctly, you were looking at an impaling projectile speeding toward the ground. I had one rocket that I swore could have killed someone with the way it always half buried itself in the ground. It also came close to landing into someone's house at one point.

Like Soulmaster, I was also quite the pyromaniac as a kid. Nothing too insane, but there were times when we had a fire going in the fireplace, and I just loved tossing whatever I could into the flames, especially newspaper.

See, my friends and I invented a game.

See, my friends and I invented a game with machetes.

When I go camping with a group of my friends, we always save our water bottles. Near the end of the trip, we'll gather up all the empty bottles, and go on a pretty long hike to this secluded place with this nasty stagnant water. We fill the bottles with this horrible water, give someone a bottle and someone else a machete. They throw it at the other guy, and he has to slice it out of the air. If you get hit in the face, it's your fault. If you get that horrible water in your mouth, that's hilarious. If you stab someone, first of all oh my god you just stabbed someone, and second we'll probably never play the game again, and if you break the water bottle so much that we can't fill it anymore at all, you win.

It's a stupid game, but it's a lot of fun.

I've done many small things that are considered stupid, but I'm not one for doing crazy stunts. One really stupid thing young people is jump off of the bridge at the trail that goes through my town into the river below. This is all while there's signs on the bridge clearly warning "NO JUMPING FROM BRIDGE", a picture of it shown below:

Somehow, people are ignoring it likely because of the use of "extend" where it should be "extent".

I've also seen youngsters ride bikes with both hands off the handlebar, and also hoisting one wheel (usually the front) up in the air. I certainly could never do either of those things without falling and getting seriously hurt.

My cousin was over this weekend so on the way home, I took him and my brother to the cliff where we camped to show them how high it was. On the way out, I kinda took advantage of the dirt roads, and pulled th handbrake around corners. #fullysickdrift

Then on the way home we played a game called Wake Up The Neighbourhood. Essentially, wait until it is late and cruise around making as much noise as possible. Had the windows down and the music blaring. I also put it into first and cruised at about 4000rpm to be a pest.

All right, so, last night I did something really risky. So, I'm at a film school until 10 am today and last night we went to downtown NYC, specifically the Rockefeller Center. I wanted to go the Barnes and Nobles but it was outside the designated parameters, so when the chaporones weren't looking, my friends and I snuck off to the Barnes and Nobles, two blocks outside the parameters to the Barnes and Nobles then came back. When we boarded the bus our supervisor was just looking at us suspiciously. I think she knew but she didn't say anything.
