I'm not sure I have one! But I thought this might be interesting! What is your most important thing? If you could only save one item, what would it be?

Wow, that's a hard one. The funny thing is, asking what my prized possession is and then you asked "If you could save only one item, what would it be?" I might answer differently to both.
I've always imagined that the thing I would save would be my first teddy bear. I love him to bits and I'm always going to have him. But he's not my prized possession. In fact, I don't know what is. I'm tempted to say my 3DS, but I can't be certain. xD I know saving a teddy isn't necessarily logical or reasonable given the value of some of my other possessions (a laptop and desktop computer for example), but I don't know if I'd think logically in a fire or a flood. xD

My most prized possession? Well, everything I own has some sort of nostalgia in my eyes. It's why I have a hard time letting things go when I grow older because I don't want to have to let go of all the memories I've had related to said item. I'd have to say my most prized, however, is probably tied between my first ever shaymin plushie, my first ever pikachu plushie, and my favorite rosary. To explain on each, shortly after shaymin was first introduced and it quickly became my favorite Pokemon, my family and I went to Dollywood with a bunch of my cousins. They had shaymin land forme plushies there and I can remember waiting in line for hours to play the game with my cousins to win that plush. Of course, right as I got up there, they ran out. I can remember sobbing for about half an hour after, I was so upset. My cousins (who were all several years older than me) did everything they could to cheer me up, but I was pretty much depressed the rest of the day. So, several months later, about December timeframe, my family returns to Dollywood for a Christmas vacation. As we're walking through the park, something green catches my eye and I look over to see a girl holding a shaymin plush. To date, that's probably the fastest I have ever run. I caught up with the girl (freaking out my parents and cousins because all they saw was me just sprinting off) and asked her where she got it. She said that they had them in the crane machines at the arcade in the park. By then my family had caught up and we all had one mission, win that plush. I kid you not when I say we moved like a phalanx through the park to where the arcade was and there was only one machine that had the plush with only one plush left. About four of my cousins tried to get it but kept missing, so then I tried my hand at it and got it with no trouble at all. To this day, that shaymin means so much to me because it represents the love that my family has for me, because we literally dropped all the plans we had made for the day, just to waste an hour on getting me a stuffed animal.
Secondly is my first ever Pokemon plush, a pikachu. His name is Seńor Chu. I got into Pokemon when I was in the second grade and at the time it was really popular. I wasn't very popular back then though because I didn't have a plush toy to play with. I was really upset because I wanted to play with the other kids but couldn't because I didn't have a plushie. So, Valentine's Day rolls around and my parents surprise me with breakfast in bed. I can remember waking up to a bowl of cereal and a pikachu with a sombrero just staring at me. See, my dad travels to Mexico a lot for his job so he got the plush with the sombrero for me as a gift. I was so happy and even though having Seńor Chu didn't really help my social status at all at school, he stills means a lot to me because my parents went to another country to get me a plush they knew for sure no one else would have.
Finally, my rosary. As many of you are aware, I am a Roman Catholic. One of the thins I've picked up over the years is collecting rosaries. I have about twenty at the moment and I've started to make sure I buy one each time I visit somewhere I've never been before. However, my favorite rosary is a stone rosary that's over three centuries old. It's been passed down in my mom's family for a long time and supposedly was blessed back in Ireland (where most of my mom's family comes from). It was passed down each confirmation and it has been my good luck charm ever since I got it. I cling to it whenever I feel sad, lonely, or stressed and it helps calm me down. It makes me feel like I'm not alone, that everyone else who has ever held this rosary is watching out for me.
