I'm noticing a distinct lack of polls. :D

How many sibs do you have? Are you happy with that number?

I have two brothers. When I was younger, I wanted a sister but now I'm kind of glad I don't. xD I can't imagine having a sister now! It would be too weird.

My brothers and I used to fight all the time but we also had a lot of fun together and now that we are all grown up, we are good friends, which is nice. :D

I've got an older sister and a younger brother. I'm still a bit ashamed they've both moved out and I'm still living at home with no clue what to do living situation-wise. Apartments around here are just expensive and horrific.

We generally get along pretty well. We've had some pretty crazy pillow fights and such in the past, but nothing ever really violent.

I had one brother and was cheated an extra two. Yes. One of four boys. Well, I'm a man but point remains (just wanted to make the man comment).

Me- 20 years old, musical prodigy, very good looking, not the most humble ;)

Jake- 18 year old stepbrother. My dad married his mum. Only live with him from Sunday to Wednesday but hardly see him as we both work during the day and go out every night. Probably a good thing as he is Satan himself. Incredibly lazy, self centred and just a all round tool.

Jed- 16 year old brother. Jed and I used to fight all the time however we have both grown up, and have now come to respect each other. That and the stepbrothers came along, and we realised that each other weren't too bad in comparison. Jed loves his PlayStation, works at McDonalds and is really good at cooking. Like, when my parents go away, he is the one that cooks. He is leaving school next year to study cookery. This being said, he can tend to be a trouble maker, and make silly decisions. My parents got more emails from his school in a year than they did in my 13 at school. Still a good kid. Only see him half the time as he stays at mums house most of the time due to working and going to school near there and dad starting work too early to drive him to school.

B (as I don't have nice things to say about him). 13 year old stepbrother. My mum married his dad. We don't see him. He lives with his mum and her kids from another relationship, and honestly, they are a skid mark on the underpants of society. They refuse to get jobs, and instead live off welfare payments for unemployed people, and child support from my stepdad, which pisses me off as my Stepdad is physically disabled (he lost a leg in a work place accident years ago, and the other one was left pretty mangled) yet runs his own business and works his a** off. Anyway, we only ever hear from B when they want something, which irritates me as my stepdad is a top bloke and they just want to take advantage of them. B is incredibly spoilt. He gets what he wants and goes to school when he wants, which is next to never. Personally, I am glad we don't see him. However it kills my stepdad, so I wish that he would stop being a self centred little p****.

Those are the siblings.

In the literal sense, I don't have any blood or step siblings. My mother did have two miscarriages prior to me, so I had two potential older siblings, but since they both died obviously that didn't happen. However, I do have a set of six individuals that I do consider to be my siblings.

The first is Prince Valiant, a yellow Labrador retriever. He was five when I was born and immediately realized that I was very similar to a puppy. He took care of me, rocked my crib when I was crying, pulling my tricycle up and down the street, and played with me all the time. PV was my caretaker, always keeping an eye on me when my parents could not. Sadly, his role as my older brother ended in May of 2003. My parents found out in November 2002 that PV had stage 4 terminal bone cancer and that there was no saving him. All they could do was made the end as painless as possible. My parents, not wanting to explain to their five year old daughter what was happening to her older brother, decided to make PV last as long as he could, but in May 2003, he had to be put down. My parents didn't tell me what happened, but I can remember being so confused when I got home from school that day and my older brother was not there to greet me. When I asked my parents where he was, they said it was just his time.

The second is a group of four individuals I call the Maddens. These four kids, Kaitlyn, Kevin, Michael, and Melina, were my next door neighbors from about the time PV died to about my seventh grade year of school and they'll resume that role next year when they return from Shanghai. I used to spend almost every day of the week at their house. We would play pretend, play video games, make movies, and all sorts of stuff. We spent the night at one another's houses, house kept for one another, and pretty much became one large family. We were, in a sense, an inseparable family that, even now when we're half way across the world from each other, cannot be pulled apart.

The final sibling is my younger sister, Savannah. Following PV's death in May, I went into a very high level depression area. I saw therapists, took medication, and even had to be tested for possible mental diseases. Ultimately, the doctors diagnosed me with severe depression due to lack of a companion. I was so used to always having PV there to support me, that when he was gone, I fell apart. The doctors suggested I get this void filled right away or else I could only grow worse. Fast forward to December and for Christmas this year, as usual, I go down to a hotel in Georgia. I get to see Santa Claus and he gives us each a gift from his bag. However, as time went on, Santa's bag got smaller and smaller, with my name never being called, and eventually nothing was left and I had no present. You can imagine I wasn't exactly happy, but I tried to hide it because I didn't want others to see I was upset. Santa noticed though. He told me not to worry, he must have left the package in his sleigh. So he walks out and comes back in carrying a crate and places it in front of me. Then he reads me a note:
"Dear Sloane,
Sorry for abandoning you on such short notice. God needed me to head the new Doggy Paradise in Heaven and it was an offer I couldn't refuse. I know you've been very sad that I've been gone lately, so to make up for it, I sent you a friend of mine to help you through it all until I can see you again.
Love,
Prince Valiant."
Inside the crate was a brown Labrador retriever puppy, and I named her Savannah. Savannah has been my closest companion since then. She's always there to cheer me up when I'm depressed and has done exactly what my big brother wanted to do, she's helped me through it all. Savannah is my little sister and, as much as I miss PV, I couldn't ask for a better sibling.

So while I might not have any true siblings, I've had people and dogs close enough to me that it's hard to imagine how my life would be without them.

I have one older sister and then you have me who is the youngest. In all honesty I always wanted a big brother to look up to and play video games with. My sister is a bit girly and we always argued a lot. We got better this year and we've became rather close. We watch anime together and hang out whenever we can. I'm quite satisfied now although it would still be nice to have a older brother.

I have one brother and like 6 step siblings of which I only know two. So I just talk about the brother, he's bothersome, but more successful and generally better than me ;A; We never really got into any huge fights as kids or anything. He's 3 years older than me.

I've one older brother, who's one year and eleven months older than me (I will not concede and say two years). He kinda dabbles in and out of Pokemon, but we've recently played Gen I together (and link battled a few times)!

I have one brother, and one sister. My brother is 16, and quite the obnoxious breed of them. We don't get along, and we tend to be vicious to eachother. :x My sister is 13. She's not too bad, we hang out here and there, but she gets kind of wise and smart with everyone, so she's not the best to be with, either. She's better than my brother, though, for sure.

Only child over here. However, the closest thing I have to an elder sister would be one of my cousins. she was born in 85, and we're basically very close to the point that we even call each other sibs from time to time. She's a great person to be around and I love some of the conversations we have, along with her Husband who is a cool guy as well. both of them are busy with their jobs like I am, but we always manage to keep in touch over the phone or see each other at least twice a month, or whenever we can.

I have three siblings, all boys. My girlfriend has 7 (not all boys though). xD
