Well, as far as anime that ran this year, I'd have to pick Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works. If this is including all anime that I watched this year, including released in previous years... It's hard to say. Honestly, I might still pick Fate/Stay Night, but for the sake of picking something different, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure was really good.

Man, this year was a horrible year for anime. I think I can count on both hands how many series I actually watched. Though, my pick will have to go to Akatsuki no Yona for the brilliant cast of characters and wonderful world building. Season two when, Perriot?

Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V

There weren't many anime that appealed to me this year. (That, or I checked out their manga adaptation instead.) Of the ones I do recall watching this year, I would have to concur with Nikki: Akatsuki no Yona is fantastic. The characters are fantastic, especially the titular character. The development she goes through is well executed and it's nice seeing her mature as the series goes on. The soundtrack is very lovely, the story is good, and the art is fantastic. I really hope season 2 comes out soon; I want to see Lili animated ;w;
