Are you a fan of seeing bands live? Or does the recording do enough for you? Are you the type willing to spend money on a ticket to a gig, and travel long distances? Or would you rather stream the concert, or get it on DVD? What concerts and gigs have you been to?

Whilst I didn't go to many concerts in my younger years, the last quarter of my life, I have been to a few.

2009- Planetshakers at Planetshakers Conference at Hisense Arena
2010- AC DC Black Ice Tour at Etihad Stadium
2012- Planetshakers at Planetshakers Conference at Hisense Arena
2012- Evermore at Youth Alive at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center.
2012- Nickelback Here and Now Tour at Rod Laver Arena
2013- New Empire at Youth Alive at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center.
2015- Switchfoot at Billboards The Venue (Free tickets for the win!)
2015- The Script at Rod Laver Arena
2015- Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center.
2016- Unify Festival 2016 (Mostly to see Hands Like Houses and Tonight Alive, though I watched other bands. I was impressed by Parkway Drive, even if it isn't my thing).

I have seen over 160 bands live and I've come here to talk about my problem :|

Some bands I've seen repeatedly, such as The Wonder Years and Your Demise, both of whom I've seen live 5 times. I only do that for my absolute favourites, or sometimes by accident if they're supporting someone else I want to see (for example, I've seen We Are The In Crowd 4 times but don't actually like them that much).

I've seen some massive artists, like Iron Maiden, Green Day and Eminem. I don't really tend to enjoy them as much, but I did enjoy Green Day. The best live performances I've seen came from Slipknot, Frank Turner, Enter Shikari (who get better every time I see them), State Champs and Tonight Alive. Most recently I saw Yung Lean, which was absolutely hilarious.

In terms of festivals, I've been to Reading & Leeds, Download and Slam Dunk (a one-day festival in the UK, I've been to it 5 times!). Furthest I've travelled for a gig was Manchester which is 240ish miles away from me, although I hope to go to a festival abroad one day!

I've seen Paramore and 30 Seconds to Mars (TWICE!) and I WOULD have seen Tonight Alive, but I had my wisdom teeth pulled somewhat beforehand and was sadly unable to go. ;n; I will never forgive myself for that. </3

ive been to a few concerts, though not many

my first one was gym class heroes, they played at my university when i was in undergrad

then i saw silversun pickups at red rocks in colorado, they were Amazing... they were also playing with 3oh!3 (who i thought were laughably bad) and the hives (who were incredibly fun and good)

then most recently, a couple of months ago, i saw metric! they were really good and they played all my favorite songs ("gimme sympathy" and "help i'm alive") so that was really exciting
