I love the reflection in Porygon's eye. It adds an effect like it really is just kinda floating in the matrix.

The reason porgyon looks like that is because the porgyon in gcea is different than others. The character dash builds the porgyon shell so its made out of metal.

Also good catch obliveon! Porygon in gcea is a program he appears as a hologram and on Dash's Laptop. during battles the program occupies the metal case.

I like the effort you took with your background, hehe; trees are a pain. As for the rain you mentioned... I like picture one better, but the thing about rain is that it's not opaque. If you use a program like Paint, doing this would require an obscene amount of time. If you have access to a program like GIMP or Photoshop, I'd suggest doing the rain on a new layer and dropping the opacity. That way it won't obscure the picture and will still look rainish. :>

Its a great suggestion but I dont know anything about those programs ! More background with them would be very helpful here!

Do you have an iPod Touch or iPad? If you do you can use the Art Studio app. It will even let you import a picture from your photos so you can save this one and just pull it right up in the app. It also lets you use layers and opacity settings and has lots of different brushes you can customize. It even has an online tutorial/handbook to explain all the app features.

I'd be happy with it too! xD It's very cute and I love the pose. Your colouring is really good too, which I think is awesome. :D Well done. The only thing I could say about the charmander egg was what I mentioned on the GCEA Sketchpad thread, how the egg is a little misshapen at the front, although that hardly matters. XD Eggs can be laid in funny shapes anyway.

I think the ho-oh's neck could be a little longer perhaps, and maybe it could look a little more fierce? And a bigger comb, perhaps? Still, it's an awesome picture. xD

The last three were done with drawings were done with my new makers. The ones before that were done with my old cryola makers or I drew the picture by hand and edited it all on ms paint.

I was looking at the newer pictures and they are really good =D The shiny sableye is REALLY well shaded and just overall drawn well.

Lucian and the Hoothoot are also really good. I cant say i expected Lucian to look like that. I LOVE how you did the hoothoot,
with its spikey outlines like that it looks so good. Also the way you did Lucians hair is just perfect.

Again the Inkey is shaded great, i really like it. And of course i like the Gengar.

The drawings almost look like watercolors. By any chance are your markers prisma colors?

Thanks man! To be honest I suck at drawing people so I try to make the focus the pokemon. I felt really good about the way hoothoot turned out. Im glad you liked the sableye I wanted to add that into my gcea art but didnt want to mess with the picture.

Yeah I use Prisma Markers. I really like the way the colors look with them.

No worries, Dredd! :] And yep, the mouth, but I don't think anyone's eyes needed to be smaller. xD I think the rotom, if it was looking more at Dash, it would have a bit more expression. Eyebrows do help. XD Yeah, you should be!

That is one beat up Aggron. You might want to be careful on the steel, though, unless you want it to look like it is heavily dented from battle, and the shading on the steel doesn't give it much of a shine. Still, loving the more realistic, dinosaur look, and I certainly wouldn't want to go up against it X_X

I love the aggron, but you forgot to shade its giant steel claws. xD Also, the many lines on it makes it look like you're trying to give it texture, but I have no idea what the texture is meant to be. I didnt forget ! They look like that on purpose,I did shake them. I Dont want it to look like a shiny car. Its a battling pokemon! Its meant to look dirty and beat up. The clawas on the feet are all i have left.

Im sorry that you didnt really like this drawing. I was very happy with it.

Its suppose to be dust and smoke kicked into the air after the Aggron threw the Onix onto he ground. I wanted to highlight it to give the dust cloud more of presence.

You might want to go in and fix that. Also, I'm not sure what, but something about the Gible looks a tiny bit off. Also, There is a random grey pixel in the bottom right corner between and below the larvitar and cascoon. That last one is very minor, but I figured I would point it out anyway. Other than that though it looks great.

Lucians Gible is a different than a normal Gible. The main difference is that Lucian gible has that strip running across his body. Thanks for pointing that stuff out. Can you tell me if the first comic in the gible bites thread is readable? On my pc it looks like the letters are to small.

I wanted to draw GCEA X in a way that was darker. Even the pokemon should look off because of Mara's perspective.

Excuse me, I'm pretty sure you say these things to stir me up and it WORKS! Hey! I can appreciate all art! xD I don't consider mine that good. I spend hours upon hours on a single picture before I'm satisfied with it so don't think that I can whip them out like a machine. I always enjoy your artwork and DUDE. If I had to do a drawing on a trackpad, it would NOT look that good. I can assure you. xD Do you know what I use? This thing (although mine says "bamboo" down the bottom instead of Wacom...and has a pikachu head sticker whose ears have been rubbed off).

Thanks, I looked through screen shots from the cartoon to get an idea of how it should look. Took me awhile to do the background but the blues turned out pretty nice. Im glad the effect worked :)

When working on my newest submission above I could decide what I wanted to do to represent the Fiery Path in DE. So I drew up the pokemon I wanted to use first. I tried my best to draw them out to what they should look like based on their Pokedex Sizes.

It takes me 6 - 10 hours normally. I goof around a lot while I work there so its hard to gauge.

Thanks for the suggestion. The reason the whites are whiter is because when I move around the pokemon I don't want the background to appear in their eyes..lol I just forget to remove the gray.

It depends on what pokemon comes up. The theme kinda just happened by chance..after the first one turned out like that and the second one was a king. So I figured the third should be a knight.

I love the water effect as well, it's quite convincing! There's only a few things bugging me...all having to do with Totodile. The arm has no visible bend, it just looks like a noodle. That's the major thing. The other is that its eye is very oddly-shaped; it looks as if you used the elipses tool or something, making the shape of the eye look unnatural. Also it's tooth is like super thick. But still, love that piece

Yeah, im not great with eyes. All I got is paint and the circle tool is very limited. Im not sure what the ellipses tool is unless you mean the circle tool..lol

I absolutely love the fakemon, Dredd. :] The linework looks perfect, the shading is great, and the design is wonderful. The plastic is represented really well, especially on the face where the light shading is. :] I can't do that, not even with my fancy tablet and drawing program! Haha. You truly are talented. ;) I think it looks a little like a penguin more than a dolphin, or a hybrid of some kind. x)

I used a bottle to help with the shadow. Also its name is dottle because thats dolphin and bottle together ;)

Yeah, using references is definitely a smart way to go! That's how I get things drawn. xD When I do. And yes, I know. x) But it could evolve from a penguin-like pokemon or into one maybe. ;D

The follow are some concepts that I have worked on but havent finished. The first one is going to be a drawing but it has changed a lot since this piece. The second was a mini comic was toy around with based on a series of summer drawings. Finally the last one is the concept for Comatose character in gible bites. Which is still in the works.

This is going to sounds silly but I did the Tyrunt first. When I drew the first drawing I noticed the shadows were screwed up. So I decided to scrap the first sketch for something that fit the shadows I already established.
