Hoenn Enigma - Seeds of Secrets

THE WRONG TURN

Hoenn, Route 110.

For the longest time, the Trick House, owned by the seemingly anonymous and enigmatic "Trick Master," has been a local attraction that tests the wit and ingenuity of passing trainers and rewards them for successfully solving the puzzles within. Often described as a perplexing fun house, most trainers came and went never suspecting a thing and found it makes for a simple conversational piece among those that come upon it.

You were one of many trainers that were curious enough to see what the Trick House was about, and decided to test your wit against it...

...but while navigating the perplexing mazes and obstacles, you took a wrong turn, found a hidden staircase that descended further downward, and ended up discovering the Trick House was home to a stranger perplexing fun house the further underground someone went. As you tried to discover more about it, it became almost like an illogical dream wonderland labyrinth, where one door seemingly opened up into a whole new hidden world outside with meadows and plains, but then became something entirely different when a person tried to turn back the way they came from. Suddenly, the way you came in was no longer the exit...

You suddenly became very lost, and your conception of reality and logic has been rendered useless. Simply trying to head upstairs or dig your way out hasn't been working at all and instead leads into strange and bewildering rooms and areas that defy reality. Every turn you make leaves you wondering if you're making progress escaping, or simply descending hopelessly deeper and deeper into an enigmatic Buneary hole.

But you've discovered you haven't been the only one to discover the darker passage and descend into the darker, stranger, and deeper secrets of the Trick House. The discovery of Pokémon in these strange, impossible "rooms" was a welcome sight at first, until you discovered they were once humans. Other rooms contained fantastical creatures seemingly out of a fairytale, but they too were trainers just like you, and some of them are still searching for a way out while others have completely given up. But they all gave you the same warning:

"Don't eat or drink anything!"

However, the clock is ticking. The many hours you've spent lost in the Trick House Underground can easily become days, which will lead to starvation if you refuse to eat and drink the seemingly tempting but unsettlingly strange fruits, foods, and beverages found in many of the fantastical but strange areas of the Trick House Underground... if that's even where you still are...

All the while, questions keep coming to mind. Who really is the Trick Master? Is he even human, or is he hiding an even darker secret about himself and what he has created here? And what is the purpose and meaning behind the Trick House Underground? Or maybe those questions were never meant to be solved...

It's up to you... to still find a way to escape with or without your humanity... or brave it out and try and discover the hidden secrets and real meaning of the whole Trick House to save everyone still trapped inside it...

KNOWN DISCOVERIES

Even though you don't know very much about the Trick House underground, you know at least these things:

Getting transformed seems to be a common occurrence in the Trick Room Underground. Eating or drinking anything will transform you, and the same goes for your Pokémon too! However, it's been a while since you all last ate, and obviously you don't want yourself and your Pokémon to starve. Meanwhile, that's not the only way you might find yourself as no longer human. Maybe there's a way to reverse the inevitable transformations... maybe not... but who knows for sure?
The Trick House Underground is essentially a nonsensical wonderland that defies reality and instead feels more like the craziest dream you've ever endured... only now it's real. Doors will open up to outside worlds where you can breathe underwater, potentially sprout wings and fly, walk on walls, and other similar wonders. However, bear in mind that there are both captivating rooms and horrifying ones. But you never know what vital nooks and crannies of the Trick House Underground may contain clues...
Mirrors, doors, and elevators have especially weird effects that contain interchangeably different passageways or exits to "outside" areas. Books, papers, and anything with text will often have cryptic, strange, and bewildering messages.
As grim as it might sound, dying doesn't really seem to be an escape from the Trick House Underground as some of the new "residents" have told you. You'll simply wake up somewhere else inside it... possibly as something or someone else!

Of course, you're bound to discover more strange rules that the Trick House Underground follows. But by piecing together the puzzle, maybe you'll find the solution that finally sets everyone free...

RULES

Follow the basic Pokémon Crossroads rules and the RP rules.
God-modding is very loose on this one. As long as it doesn't get too ridiculous, the more you let your imagination run wild, the better, and it's allowed to go pretty far on this one, just so as long as it's not detrimental to other RPers.
No direct bunnying, although you can slightly influence what happens to other people.
Keep it PG-13 and under. Some areas of the Trick House Underground can be dark and scary, but they're not excessively gory, vulgar, or perverted.

Also, include your character's name in the header, as well as their... "location." This also helps other RPers (however that happens) to find you and interact with your character.

Jonathan Bradshaw - Currently as a Cinccino
The Art Gallery

"Trick Master is fantastic."
"Trick Master is awesome."
"Trick Master is the greatest."

Screw you, Trick Master!

I was so sick of seeing this kind of crap everywhere. For the past four weeks, I've been barely able to cling onto my sanity with this place and the ridiculous things it's done to me. But I was dead-set on trying to find a way out of here... because the only other option was to give up.

Those three lines of nonsensical, egotistical crap were on the museum plaque for a painting of a blue banana with fireworks shooting off in the background. As I looked away, seeing as how thing this was totally useless, I saw the rest of this art gallery didn't make sense either, and for now, I seemed to be the only one in here. There was a pink and white checkerboard pattern over all of the floor, walls, and ceiling, and it was disorienting as hell and seemed to wobble a bit. Meanwhile, none of these pictures made sense either. Part of me just felt like finding another door just to change the channel.

I took a few steps, slowly waddling along as a Cinccino because I was still not used to this plushy chinchilla form in the first place. I tried to make head or tails of the next painting. It kind of looked like Slateport City, but I was pretty sure it wasn't, because I highly doubted Slateport City ever melted the way this one did, was raining clocks and hourglasses, and once had the beach crowded with purple Marills dressed in tuxedos. On the plaque...

"There comes a time when a Fletchinder will want to tie your shoes. But you won't understand it. You it but won't understand. Y T BT WNT NDRSTND."

Oh, why the hell did I ever enter this stupid place...

Sloane Jackson-Human
The Food Court

It just had to be the food court. It couldn't be an art gallery or a lake or the center of Hell. Nope. It had to be a food court.

Sloane's stomach growled loudly and she wrapped her stomach around her arms with a sigh. She had brought food with her, of course, but she was attempting to ration it for now. She had to find a way out before she transformed into… well who knows. She had seen quite a lot since her arrival and it had only been a day. Sloane felt her stomach growl again as a ever tempting smell of Olivine Pasta wafted past her nose. Dear Arceus, they had discovered her weakness.

"Maybe just a little bit wouldn't-" Sloane felt a sharp pinching on her neck followed by intense pain. "Ow!" Sloane's hand flew to her neck where she realized what had happened. Shaymin released Sloane's neck and nuzzled her hand a little. "You're right, Shay, I can't eat just yet. Come on, let's find a way out of here." Sloane quickly moved away from the pasta stand in search of an exit.

Dylan Thomas-Windup Togetic
Apple Orchard

Dylan let out a silent sigh as he was carried through the large apple orchard. He hadn't been able to speak for hours and it seemed like he couldn't remember what his own voice sounded like. Still, at least he had his Pokemon still with him, even if they did look… odd. Oh well, at least they weren't entirely different Pokemon. That would be very confusing for both Dylan and probably the Pokemon themselves.

They had been stuck in this apple orchard for a while and Dylan wasn't sure of an exit in sight. It didn't really matter except they'd need water sooner or later and he'd rather find it sooner rather than later. Still, the Apple orchard seemed to go on forever and Dylan knew that it was only a matter of time before they'd have to try and find another way. This whole dang place was a made, a never ending maze. And Dylan hated it.

Fox Oleander- Mermaid
A Lake

"I'm gonna strangle that man." Fox swam in angry circles in the lake she was stuck in. She had been "pacing" for the past hour and venting to no one about her angers. She hated the trick master so much right now. Fox would kill him. She would. She was a mermaid and it was his fault. He would die a slow painful death. That was ensured as far as she was concerned.

Xavier Hundres
A small island in an ocean

Xavier stared at the rock in front of him. When he'd gone through that last tunnel he'd found himself under water next to this island, which only had two trees. Both were gigantic and had an elevator door at their base. Except one elevator was blue and the other was red. In the sand had been a rock. So, like any normal person turned twig, he'd sat down and had a wonderfully intellectual debate with the rock to prove that water was in fact, wet. and then went on to prove that lost pens lived in a secret society under everyone's houses. When He'd done this the rock then proceeded to promise to tell him which elevator to go through if Xavier could beat the rock at a staring contest.

So Xavier stared, only he kept having trouble find the rock's eyes. It didn't really seem to have a mouth or nose either. In fact, it just looked like a normal rock. But of course that was silly, normal rocks couldn't debate about the wetness of water. so Xavier stared.

Joshua Kanz
Thesky

Josh sat on the edge of his cloud, pondering the sea below him. It appeared to be full of rather angry looking monkeys all writing very rude letters on type writers. He closed his eye and put his head in his hands. "oh man, this is one messed up trick house. Those guys must've been crazy to think the tricks here were easy to get through." He opened his eyes and found that the monkeys had decided to write angry E-mails one computers instead. Getting up he turned and walked across the island of cloud, wondering how the trick master had made such a place.

Jonathan Bradshaw - Cinccino
The Art Gallery

Every painting and description here made absolutely no sense. But then again, that was with everything around here. I needed... no, I had to find a way to crack the system behind this place. Otherwise it would make me a drooling lunatic and I'd end up just as cuckoo as everything else in this Wonderland Hell. It had been a whole damn month and I was no closer to getting out of here than the day I stupidly stumbled into this flaming cesspool.

I came to the exit door of the art gallery, figuring there was absolutely no point in being here right now. I got so fed up that after standing on the tips of my toes to reach the brass door knob in the shape of a clover, I opened the door, and saw it opened up into a black, dark subway with dirty walls and flickering lights. Perfect. I really didn't feel like walking around as a fluffy chinchilla in a dingy place like that and make myself a living, filthy dust bunny in the process. I shut the door, knowing even just doing that would change the room behind it when I opened the door again.

Second time I opened it, there was a small kitchen in yellow and green with a strobe light. Nope, didn't feel like dealing with that either. Out of annoyed cynical impatience, I repeated the process and cycled through what felt like a dozen rooms, starting from the dingy subway, the lemon/lime kitchen, an upside down pool hall, a warped outside basketball court, a magazine printing press that was splattered in sticky bubble gum, a purple planetarium with plush Pokémon all over the place, an indoor pool that was filled with what looked like grape soda, a furniture store where everything was floating in the air, and then back to the subway again.

But then I noticed the pattern and I cycled through the whole thing again. Subway, kitchen, pool hall, basketball court, printing press, planetarium, swimming pool, furniture store. I did the whole cycle four times and finally confirmed there was a solid pattern to it. I then got an idea.

Write it down and graffiti up the walls if you have to!

But I didn't have a damn pen or marker. And I needed a real pen or marker, not one I found here that would look like a pen, but shoot bubbles before playing jazz and then cause whatever I wrote to turn into noodles.

I badly needed to find a human trainer. Or at least someone who had a pen or writing tool from the outside world, or else forget it, I couldn't map out this place. But for the first time in months, the idea of mapping this whole place out for everyone, including myself, might have been our first, real lead. We could write down what rooms led to what other rooms, and maybe even write down what these damn trick foods did.

But holy crap, it was going to be a lot of work...

Location: An Abandoned Town

*sighs* Where did I end up now. This city looks almost as if it's in ruins. Then again this isn't the worst thing I've seen here these last few days since I got trapped here in this place. I wonder if any each of these doors actually lead inside the building...or if it's just gonna be another fun house room.

It'd had almost been a full day since either Brian or his Eevee had had much to eat or drink. Food and water supplies are starting to run low. Both of them have heard the warnings since arriving. It's almost impossible to miss it since everywhere they've been they have seen some message or heard it about the Trick Master. How "not to eat or drink anything." Some even coming from what he thought were stone statues. One of the crazier ones was from a leaf that fell on his shoulder...or at least he thought it was. Getting that hungry or dehydrated can really play tricks on the mind.

It's been two days now and I'm still no where even close to finding any clues as to what's going on here or even a way out. Ugh, the things I've seen since then. I'd rather not remember any of it, but it's all bound to show up again at some point. There's almost really nothing here either. This place is just...quiet. Lonely and feels rather cold. Makes me feel like I shouldn't be here long.

This place is already creeping me out. It's way too quiet here. Almost no place to really sit or rest here either. Knowing this place from what I've seen here the last few days. I can't just sit in the middle of the road here even in an town empty as this. I think we better move on. Find a place so Eevee and I can rest. One of these doors has to lead somewhere. Let's just try this building...if the...door would just....OPEN! Brian was ramming the door trying to force it open.* The door suddenly slams open as if it were never jammed. "Oh great....not another one of these places...."

Jonathan Bradshaw - Cinccino
Grape Soda Swimming Pool

Unfortunately, I was just going to have to abandon the idea of writing directional guide graffiti until I had an actual pen or permanent marker to scribble on the walls with. For now, I decided to go with the swimming pool room, but like hell I was going to jump into it. Besides the weird and sticky contents that would stick like paste on my Cinccino fur, the tiles on the floor were a strange mix of yellow, pink, and white. Meanwhile, I found what looked like a random blue sock puppet with googly eyes just sitting on the-

"HELP ME! it screamed.

Oh good lord, that thing was actually someone living. I approached it and saw that yep, it was a living and sentient sock puppet. I imagined this poor soul was a human at one point and obviously ate or drank something terrible.

"Did the grape soda turn you into that?" I asked the sock puppet while looking at it curiously.

"YES!" it screamed. "What was I thinking!?"

That made two of us. Who the heck drinks even normal pool water intentionally? In any case, they definitely wouldn't have a marker on them, but I figured I'd help him or her out.

"Name's Jonathan," I introduced myself. "I've been stuck in this hellhole for about a month. Last thing I ate was a cinnamon bun, and that turned me into this."

"I'm... Sonya," the sock puppet replied. "You... wouldn't happen to have more of those cinnamon buns, would you? Oh, please tell me you do!"

I shook my head to tell her no, but that also got me thinking. If we did find some food or drink that changed people into something... relatively normal and decent, it wouldn't be a bad idea to stockpile that stuff. I was sure Sonya would WAY RATHER be a Cinccino than this blue, ungodly sock puppet.

"I'll let you eat the first thing we find," I told her, knowing just about anything would be better than a sock puppet. "Hopefully it'll turn you into something better than this."

"Oh thank you, you're my guardian angel!" She rejoiced very happily.

I decided to pick up Sonya and carry her with me until we found something else for her to eat. I figured just about anything would be a heck of an improvement over this.

"You got lucky with that cinnamon bun," Sonya told me. "You're really cute and fluffy."

"It's almost disturbing what passes for luck around here," I told her, knowing on a normal day, being turned into a Cinccino would have been a catastrophic shocker instead. "How long have you been stuck in this place?"

"Two months," she muttered, sounding grim about it. "Well, I mean two months stuck in this pool room. It's been five months since I walked down the strange staircase."

Ugh, that sounded like torture. Well, I decided to head to the exit door of this place with her, and hopefully we'd be able to find her and change her into something better than this thing.

Xavier Hundres - Twig
A small island in an ocean

"FINE! DON"T TELL ME THEN!" Xavier shouted at the rock. He grabbed it and attempted to through it into the water. Being a twig didn't really help this measure and the rock responded by stubbornly staying where it was. "Look, can you tell me which door is better anyway? I know you won the staring contest, but I really need to get out of here."
...
"What, you think your too good for me now?"
...
"Fine. I'll just choose one." He stormed over to the red door and kicked it. Nothing. So he went over to the blue door and kicked it. This time the red door opened with a satisfied sigh. "What are you so happy about?" Xavier demanded, entering the elevator. It sure looked a lot like a death trap, with spikes on the walls and all, but he wasn't about to go reason with the blue door. "Alright red elevator, bring me up and out of here!" The elevator decided that it had had its floor long enough, and dropped it along with Xavier, who really would have preferred to the elevator to have kept its floor. "You got to be kidding meeeee!"

Joshua Kanz - Human
The sky

Joshua looked at the bookshelf. Why was there a bookshelf on this cloud island? And why was it full of harry potter fanfiction? What even was harry potter fanfiction? They didn't all seem to be fanfiction though. Two large books stood out against the rest. One was called the "Monster book of Monsters" and the other "The friendly book of friends" So rowan grabbed the monster book, believing that this was another trick of the house. When he opened the book though, all there was was a black screen that would occasionally flash a picture.

"Whoa, that's cool." Joshua's stomach rumbled at that point and an image of a bakery appeared. his hand moved involuntarily and touched the screen, he could almost smell the food. Then suddenly he COULD smell the food. He looked up from the book and found himself standing behind the counter in a uniform that said, "Good bread for hungry customers! on it. "This is one weird house." He murmured.

The Food Court
Affected RPers: Noblejanobii (Sloane)

Food... food... food... I used another exit door, opening and closing it again and again to cycle through next room options. Definitely not the creepy doll factory, nope on the garbage dump, still no on the room filled with rubber balls, but when the door opened up into a food court, I figured that was perfect. Sonya's days of being an idiotic sock puppet would soon be over!

...She just had to hope it wouldn't be something even worse....

I carried Sonya into the large food court, which seemed fairly normal, save for the fact that the places to eat had strange names and logos for places like Haxy Snax, 1974, The Quadratic Formula, and Spanky's. Well, we sure didn't have to worry about finding a place to sit down. Everything was empty except for... a human!?

"Whoa, look at that!" I told Sonya, seeing a human wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and with what looked to be... wow, was that a Shaymin? "She must have just gotten here!"

"Please, I hate being like this!" Sonya shouted. "I don't care what I get changed into, just let me eat something!"

"Okay, okay," I assured Sonya, quickly turning toward the human and calling out to her. "Hey, miss, hold on for a second! I mean... don't go anywhere, I'll be with you in a moment!"

I wanted to help Sonya but if that human had a permanent marker or just some kind of writing tool, it would be a godsend for my graffiti plan. Meanwhile, that girl must have thought this was absolutely insane. Here I was, a fluffy Cinccino, shouting nonsense to her while carrying around a dumb, blue sock puppet like it was my best friend. Whatever, Sonya needed serious help, and fast.

I decided to go with Spanky's first. It didn't take long until I found a can full of... Super Sappy Pop Cola. Good lord, I had no aspiration to mess with stuff that had a name like that. I cracked it open, and fed it to Sonya. Or at least I thought I did by dumping it down her... "mouth." Once she got a good guzzle of it, I let her go and hoped something good would come out of it.

She then began to change, growing bigger, still blue for some reason before getting some green lily pad thing on her head, eventually morphing into what looked like... a Lotad.

"Oh, it worked..." Sonya muttered, a bit shocked she was actually capable of drinking as a sock puppet. "But..."

"But what?" I asked, thinking she should have been elated.

"Oh, let me try something else," she sighed. "Lotads are kind of ugly and weird. I want to be something cute like you!"

She had to be kidding. If she was really going to make me do this, I was going to...

...and then I came up with a brilliant idea!

"Hey, hey miss!" I shouted to the Shaymin girl with the blue jeans, trying to look as absolutely adorable as a Cinccino ever could. "Would you happen to have a pen or marker? You know, one from the real world that doesn't do stupid stuff like the ones in this psychotic wonderland do? We're going to write down what everything in this food court changes people into, so everyone can pick something nice and avoid the nasty stuff!"

Oh, it was brilliant! Maybe the cute looks and charm would actually be useful this time!

Sloane felt her stomach growl again and groaned loudly. Where was a door when you desperately needed one! Sloane let out a long sigh and decided it was best to quit her complaining for now. She just needed to take her mind off of this place. Just for a little while. But what to do? Sloane placed her bag on a nearby table and unzipped it, pulling out a black pen and her journal. Rezipping up her bag, Sloane slipped it back over her shoulders and began to write as she walked.

The story was about as random and chaotic as the world Sloane had recently found herself in. It was much harder to distract herself from this place than she thought. However, she didn't really mind that either. Her stomach hadn't growled in a while, which was somewhat of a relief. Still, this was not a tactic that would work for long. Sloane was beginning to regret not bringing a book or something.

"Hey, miss, hold on for a second! I mean... don't go anywhere, I'll be with you in a moment!"

Sloane looked up from her work to see a Cinccino with a sock puppet. Well… definitely not the weirdest thing she had seen so far in her one day in this land of trickery. Still, kind of a weird sight. Sloane sighed and pulled one of the chairs from a nearby table to sit down in. Sloane let Shaymin crawl off her shoulder to the table beside her and simply shrugged when the unspoken question passed between the two.

The Cincinno came back momentarily and requested a writing utensil that was from the real world. Well, good thing she had plenty of those.

"Uh… yeah," Sloane said, showing the pen in her hand. "Do you have a preference? I've got markers as well and another pad of paper if that's best for you."

Location: Forest of Giant Trees

Well it looks like we've hit yet another forest. What could this forests tricks possibly consist of. Well either way I guess this spot is as good as any other. I'll get a good look around if I can find a good place to climb a tree at least.

Brian found a place to climb, but as he starts climbing up. It had been around 5 minutes of climbing before he reaches a branch and sits on it to rest already pretty high up. He had climbed so high he still can't even see the top, but the ground almost looks like...it's miles below?! It has to just be another trick, suddenly he begins to hear something. "Let me GOOOOOO!"

It startled Brian, almost to the point he lost his gripping on the branch. "Ahhh! Where....where did that come from? Where are you?" The tree branch starts to shake as if to get Brian off of it. It's almost as if the live tree is actually alive!
.

"Woah woah woah! Careful, I'm not going to hurt you!" Brian holds on for his life here, but something falls out from his bag. His Eevee's pokeball. "NO!" Brian shouts as he leaps from the branch to grab it, even knowing what he sees might be a fall to his death. He didn't care, he only wanted to save his friend from getting separated from him or worse. He grabs it, but is now in a free fall, wherever this may take him, he didn't care. Suddenly he slides into something and then found himself resting...in a pile of leaves?

What.....did...someone save me? "I didn't mean literally you fool!" Again that voice. Where is it. Brian looks around, but when he turns around he sees the tree has a face on it.

"You know by now I shouldn't be surprised to see something like a tree able to speak. So I take it you were one of those humans as well that consumed something?"

"No, I was just laying around taking in the sunshine and suddenly I sprout my roots and decided to become a tree....what do you THINK I did?!"

"Relax, I was just trying to figure things out. Sheesh, take it easy...I may the only one able to help you here." Brian said

"OK ok sorry." The tree said

"Well, I do have to thank you. if not for you who knows what would've happened to me, or Eevee here. So I think I have to repay you somehow....but how?" Brian thought out loud

"For starters, you could help me change into something besides, oh you know. An imobile TREE?" The tree told Brian

"Haha, yeah I guess so. You know where any food is nearby? What did you eat that changed you into this tree? Preferably let's get you the same thing. Just in case you know? I still don't really know how things work around here, but I imaging eating the same thing could be worse. So, do you know anywhere nearby with anything?"

"Well..." the tree thought. "Maybe try looking for berries, or water.....anything would work I'm guessing. Trust me, I've been here long enough. I've been more than's than I care to remember, but anything and I mean almost ANYTHING is better than being a tree."

"Alright, so I'll find whatever I can, but...I need you to put me down first." Brian laughed.

"Oh right." The tree gently moved the branch down to the ground placing him safely down. "My name is Lily by the way." The tree exclaimed.

"Brian, my name's Brian...and don't worry Lily. I'll be back as soon as I can. I promise I won't forget you!" Brian said as he runs off

I need to find something to help her, but....I need to also think of Eevee....and myself. After this....we need to eat something before we start losing our minds even more in here....but how much longer can we last in here with our small rations we have left?

Jonathan Bradshaw - Cinccino
The Food Court
Affected RPers: Noblejanobii

Bless this girl, she just gave me the keys to help us all get out of this stupid place!

"This is fantastic!" I told the Shaymin girl, avidly admiring the pen, marker, and pad of paper. "Thanks a million, miss!"

Man, I never thought I'd be overjoyed to have just an ordinary pen, marker, and paper. Now this stuff was pure, it wasn't like any of those screwy pens and paper that were found laying around here that would suddenly turn into a kazoo or suddenly start hopping away. Now, I had to make absolutely sure I didn't lose these, because I really didn't think I'd get another set.

"Oh, by the way, my name's Jonathan," I bowed and introduced myself to the Shaymin girl, figuring she might want to know why this random plushy Cinccino was asking her for this stuff in the first place. "I've been stuck in this Trick House cesspool for about a month, and poor Sonya over there has been stuck down here for about five months. What I'm going to do with these is write on the walls, floors, and cabinets to let everyone know what doors lead to what rooms and what each of these weird foods and drinks do to people so this is no longer a stupid guessing game! I'm hoping by mapping out this whole zoo, we all might find the escape door if we work together to cover all the areas."

But... that didn't mean it wasn't going to be a lot work writing stuff down constantly. Still, I could definitely give up being lazy to get this done. I already knew this place was huge from the one month I've been wandering around. I was still coming across new places, but I did run into a few places I had seen before. I was hoping this would crack the logic behind this stupid place and give us some sense of direction. And thanks to these being real pens, markers, and paper, they couldn't be affected by the nonsense.

"Now then, I have to get back to Sonya," I told the Shaymin girl, bowing to her and really appreciating these. "She doesn't like being stuck as a Lotad either, it seems, but while she tries out everything in this whole food court, I'll write down what it all does. But really, I appreciate this a lot, miss!"

I thought it was a bit silly for Sonya to be unhappy as a Lotad, but then again Lotads needed water or they'd dry up. And it was probably best she stayed out of anything that "looked" like water.

She this guy was probably human before and needed her pad and pen for some odd reason or another. And she was right.

This Cinccino was apparently a boy named Jonathan who had been stuck here about a month and the sock puppet/lotad was a woman named Sonya who had been here about five months. Sounded rough. Sloane couldn't help but sympathize with them a little. It must have been difficult. Her mind began to wonder as to how it must have felt when they eventually caved. Sloane knew she could go three weeks, roughly, without food before her body started to eat her organs and tissues and such. Water, however, was a very different story. Sloane had, at most, four days before she would die from lack of fluids. She had brought water bottles for herself, but she hadn't brought enough for she and her Pokemon, as she hadn't expected to make an extended stay. Accounting for all of them and herself, she had maybe two days' worth of water. She also had a soda that was probably flat, but she needed to save that as an absolute last resort. Sodas dehydrated people a lot quicker than water did after all.

"If you could locate an exit or something that'd be fantastic," Sloane replied with a sigh. Her stomach growled as if to agree with the statement. "I brought food so I can probably survive about a month and a half if I relied on food alone but… water I've got at most two weeks before I either cave or kill myself from lack of fluids. I'd… I'd prefer for neither of those to happen." She scratched the back of her head then said, "I'm Sloane Jackson and this is my partner, Shaymin, but I usually call her Shay for short. The rest of my team is in their pokeballs but I can introduce them to you later if you'd like."

Sloane looked back at the lotad that was Sonya. Geez, even here woman were picky about how they looked. Sloane probably wouldn't have cared as long as she wasn't in a form that was completely miserable. Oh well. One of the perks of this place seemed to be that if you were already transformed then you could just gorge yourself and pick a form you liked. The thought of food caused Sloane's stomach to clench in hunger and Sloane winced a little in pain as she wrapped her arms around her stomach again. Shaymin nudged Sloane's arm then gestured to her bag. Sloane shook her head.

"No… we've got to make it last as long as possible. I'm fine. Trust me." Shaymin didn't seem convinced but didn't protest. She climbed up Sloane's arm and dropped down into Sloane's lap. Sloane smiled a little and began to pet Shay. Sloane looked back at Jonathan and said, "Well have fun with that. Maybe this way I'll be able to pick my last meal accordingly."

It sounded like Sloane had brought some water and food with her. Smart girl, I wish I had thought of that rather than relying on one can of cola and a sandwich when I first walked into this place. I didn't even make it through three days before I caved in.

"Yeah, you look hungry," I told Sloane sympathetically, knowing eventually everyone has to give in at some point. "If you stick around, we might find something at least bearable. Heck, I became a perfectly normal Cinccino from a cinnamon bun, and I actually wish I took a few of those along. We might just find something just as good in case you run out of everything else."

I made it back to Sonya and on the cabinet where I found that Super Sappy Pop Cola stuff, I wrote:

Super Sappy Pop Cola = Lotad

There, now anyone that found this place would know exactly what that stuff did. Although I was pretty sure there were better options than Lotad out there.

"Could you please get me something else?" Sonya asked, not looking too happy in her new Lotad form. "I'm not too crazy about this."

I opened up the metal cabinet and found all sorts of stuff. First, I pulled out a box of... blue donuts. Boy, I was sure these had to be interesting. I opened up the box, pulled one out, and handed it to Sonya.

"What's this one do?" She asked, looking at it strangely.

"Well, let's find out," I smiled. "Hey, worst case scenario, you just drink more Super Sappy Pop Cola and you're back to Lotad."

She just shrugged and ate about half of it before she started transforming again. She started becoming very flat and then turned into a orange dinner plate... with a face. Yikes. I immediately whipped out the marker again, and wrote right on the box.

These change you into a freaking orange dinner plate! Do NOT eat!!!

And on the cabinet:

Blue donuts = dinner plate with a face. It's bad, don't eat!

"Could you quit writing for a minute and help me!?" Sonya screamed. "This is awful!"

"Hey, I'm on it, just need to make sure no one else eats those things," I told her with a reassuring smile.

I then put aside the box of donuts and pulled something else out. Looked like a bag of yellow muffins. Heh, what could possibly go wrong? I pulled out a muffin, and put it on Sonya, the dinner plate. She ate it as best as she could with her mouth, and all of a sudden, she sprouted two very colorful blue and purple butterfly wings. But she was still a dinner plate and it looked really weird. I was beginning to think wiping the slate clean by having her go back to Lotad might not be such a bad idea.

"This didn't help the situation!" Sonya shouted.

But I had to make sure these muffins did just that. A Cinccino with butterfly wings didn't seem too bad and it might not be such a bad idea to kill hunger for a little while, so I decided to try eating one also. It tasted a little lemony and sugary, almost like a cupcake without frosting. After popping the last bite in my mouth, that's when I felt it. Out of my furry back sprouted the same kind of butterfly wings that Sonya had, and they were just perfect for my size. I even tried flapping them and it worked.

"Wow, that's pretty cool, I wonder if I can fly with these!" I told Sonya.

"Uh, hello, I need help over here!" Sonya complained, not really caring about that.

Now these yellow muffins might be worth taking along for later. I decided not to be greedy and only took two of them, leaving a few for other people in case, well, you never knew if they'd want butterfly wings also. So, I wrote on the cabinet:

Yellow muffins = grow butterfly wings regardless of form. They're cool, enjoy!

"I... need... help over here!" Sonya complained again, trying to move but only causing the dinner plate to rattle.

Sheesh. I went back into the cabinet and found a small box of what appeared to be white mints. I couldn't help but wonder what these would do, but I figured Sonya needed them way more badly than I did. So I fed her a mint by dropping one on her mouth, and she started transforming again. She grew white and vase-shaped with a Pokéball shaped cap and eventually turned into ... a Foongus. The butterfly wings were gone, though.

"No, no, no, why this!?" Sonya exclaimed.

"Oh come on, that's at least way better than being a dinner plate!" I told her, thinking it wasn't great, but it wasn't bad.

I just sighed, and on the box of mints and on the cabinet, I wrote:

White mints = become a Foongus. Up to you. :P

"Get me something else, I don't want to be a mushroom!" Sonya exclaimed to me again.

Yeah, we might be here a while...

Oh boy. It sounded like they'd be here a while. Sloane pulled one of the other seats around and put her feet in it. She folded her hands behind her head and closed her eyes relaxing for a bit. She was most definitely not enjoying this. However, she did tune in to the discussion between Sonya and Jonathon. This Sonya person was extremely picky. Arceus, you'd think she'd be appreciative of, you know, not being an inanimate object with a face. Sloane took in a deep breath then sighed again as the smell of ramen filled her nose.

"I swear, this is the worst possible place I could be stuck in for this kind of thing." Suddenly, Sloane felt air coming from below her. She opened her eyes and suddenly noticed there was no floor below her two chairs. "Oh Tauros crap!" Sloane scrambled from her seat and jumped to the edge of the gaping hole, hanging on with one arm and holding Shaymin with the other. She glanced back over her shoulder. The table her stuff was on was safe. Her stuff was safe. Good.

Sloane grit her teeth and threw Shaymin up to safety. She then reached to her belt and began to pat it for a particular pokeball. "Come on, come on." Sloane grabbed one pokeball then realized it wasn't the right one. However, she had accidentally unclipped it from her belt and as she let go, Sloane felt it fall into what appeared to be an apple orchard below.

"Ah! Who was that? Shoot! Uhhhh…" Sloane winced then grabbed the correct pokeball this time. Her right arm was starting to scream in pain as she hung there longer and longer. Sloane clicked the button on the pokebal and threw it into the air. "Bruyverne! Help me out!" A black and purple dragon burst from the pokeball in a flash of light. The pokeball clattered onto the ground next to Shay. Bruyverne looked around then noticed Sloane below, hanging on for dear life. He dove down and flew underneath her. Sloane let go of the edge and dropped onto the Noivern's back. Suddenly two panels began to slid back into place to close off the hole. "Crap! Go go go!" Bruyverne shot through the opening with ease and landed beside Shay. Sloane collapsed back onto the ground and put her head in her hands. "No… no no no!"

"Sylve…" Dylam frowned when he saw Becquerel stop ahead of them. He seemed to have spotted something but what? In the distance, Dylan could faintly hear yelling, and it almost sounded like Sloane's voice. Knowing this place though, it probably was just another trick or something. Suddenly, Becquerel shot off like a bullet.

"Ah! Becquerel wait!" The rest of Dylan's team followed after Becquerel and when they stopped, they spotted an unusual sight. A pokeball? That raised the question. Did they dare open it?

So far, the yellow muffins were the only things worth keeping. I really wanted to try flying with these wings, but Sonya was being too fussy over the Foongus. So, the next item in the cabinet was a red and green juice box called "Wonder Juice," made with 100% juice from Nupa Berries and Moonfruit... whatever the hell those were. I guess I wasn't too surprised seeing there was no Nutrition Facts label on the back.

"Here you go, try this," I told Sonya, handing her one of the juice boxes.

She quickly grabbed it, stuffed in the straw, and began drinking. Meanwhile, I got the marker ready. Long and behold, she transformed again, turning all red and rubbery and round, transforming her into a large, red rubber ball with a face this time.

"I know, I know, I'll get you something else, don't even bother asking," I sighed to Sonya, knowing we might have to move onto the next food station soon. And on the cabinet, I wrote:

Wonder Juice = Big, red, rubber ball with your face. Don't drink.

I then fed her a small apple pie turnover, having to practically toss the whole thing into her red, rubbery mouth. And all that did was turn her from a red ball into a blue ball.

Apple pie turnover = Makes you blue, keeps form.

"Nooo...!" She complained, really disliking this form. "Jonathan... help.... meeee..."

And last in the cabinet was a few boxes of pink and white cupcakes. So, I pulled out one of those, and fed it to her. She totally changed from a clunky blue rubber ball and transformed into a fiery fire and fighting Infernape, which I had to say, was a heck of an improvement!

"Oh, I... I wasn't expecting this," She said, looking at her blue hands.

And so, I wrote on the box of cupcakes and on the cabinet:

Pink and white cupcakes = Infernape.

"There, that's not so bad," I told her with a smile, thinking she could do pretty well with that.

"Oh, but I... wanted something cute like yours," Sonya told me, looking like she still wasn't satisfied.

"What!?" I exclaimed, thinking an Infernape was totally fine. "Oh, come on, that's the best one you've had so far!"

How could she possibly complain about this one now? But whatever, if she wanted to sample everything from the entire blasted food court, she could go right ahead. I imagined she must have been starving and recording what all this junk did would be helpful for everyone else that stumbled into this joint. Already they would know to avoid those horrible blue donuts and the Wonder Juice like it was Satan spit.

"Bruyverne! Help me out!"

I suddenly heard Sloane's voice calling out, and I quickly turned around and tried to get to her to see what the panic was about. I saw for some weird reason, some of the panels in the floor around the seating area of the food court had given way and a hole had opened up, trying to suck her into it while she was holding on for dear life.

"Hang on!" I called out to her, trying to help Bruyverne the Noivern save Sloane from falling into the hole below.

I tried to fly to her, fluttering my new butterfly wings as quickly as I could to build up speed and momentum, but I obviously wasn't too used to flying with these wings and I only maybe got about ten feet in the air before landing splat on my face. Thankfully, Bruyverne was able to save her. The purple and black dragon managed to prevent her from falling into the hole and put her back besides her Shaymin, but she still seemed very distraught.

"You guys... okay?" I asked, wondering if anyone was hurt. "What pray tell happened?"

Could have been anything thanks to this screwy place, but I figured I'd at least see if I could lend a hand.

Sloane sniffled a little and shook her head, her vision blurring from tears. She had dropped someone. She couldn't believe it. Asch, Mori, Odessa, or Dotta. One of them was stranded in this place and there was no mistaking it. She would probably never see them again. Sloane choked out a sob and put her face in her hands.

"I'm such a fool," she whispered. Sloane sniffled then mumbled, "The floor just gave out from underneath the chair I was in. I managed to get out thanks to Bruyverne's help but I grabbed the wrong pokeball first, and I accidentally dropped it. Now one of my Pokemon… he or she is stranded… and I might never see them again!" Sloane rubbed her eyes and her body shook as she sobbed. "I can't… I can't believe I just did that. What if their pokeball broke on impact? One of them could be dead! What if I just killed one of my Pokemon?"

Sloane sniffled again and lowered her hand to her belt. She might as well figure out who she just killed. No need to keep herself in suspense. Sloane grabbed the four pokeballs from her waist and opened them. Mightyena, Manetric, and Zangoose. Oh no. Odessa!

"Odessa… I dropped Odessa. She's… I…"

Xavier sighed and tried to imagine what he'd turn into next when he died from the fall. Being a twig certainly kept his descent slow, but this fall was really, Really Long. He almost fell asleep. Then suddenly the darkness turned to light and found himself hurtling toward a surface of flat water. Closing his eyes, he prepared for impact and the now familiar sensation of rebirth as some other weird thing.

Plink.

He didn't die, probably because he was a twig, and instead he just splashed into the water. He floated on the surface, his face in the air. "Dammit Trick man! Let me die and be something better than a twig!" He shouted at nothing. Finally he opened his eyes and found himself looking at a mermaid.

Once he was done he put all but his Pichu away. "Better restock, Don't want to go hungry." He said. He grabbed a roll of bread from the bakery, one with little berry pieces in, and put in his bag. He had his own loaf of bread, a plain one, but he felt having more couldn't hurt him.

I found out the grim news. Sloane had dropped one of her PokéBalls in the chasm and was afraid it might have killed the Pokémon named Odessa inside. But then again, this place has a thing about it where it doesn't want you to die. I wasn't sure if that was out of sympathy or out of sadism.

"Well, you don't know for sure..." I told Sloane, thinking there might still be a way to get her back. "Don't give up hope, you know. And I'm sure it wasn't your fault. Heck, I lost my entire belt of PokéBalls when I got turned into a Shroomish from eating a tree nut before tripping and falling down a hole. I haven't given up looking for them, and hey, you shouldn't either."

I wrote "Warning, floor may open up unexpectedly. Be careful!" on the tiled floor with the marker. That way, the chances of this happening to someone else were far less than before.

"Jonathan, help!" Sonya cried out again. "I ate one of those... things and...!"

Oh come on, I couldn't believe Sonya wasn't satisfied with the Infernape form and ate something after that. I just looked toward where her shouting was coming from and just sighed. But I just shrugged and looked back to Sloane.

"Say, what Pokémon is Odessa?" I asked Sloane, figuring Sonya could afford to wait after yet another blunder. "If I find her Pokéball, I'll keep her safe until we meet up again. This girl... ugh, I swear she's never going to be satisfied with what these things transform her into. It's up to you if you want to wait around for us to figure out what's best to eat around here, but if not and you'd rather search for Odessa, I definitely don't blame you and wish you the best of luck. But man, this Sonya girl sure is fussy. Anyway, in the meantime, here, take one of these yellow muffins. They make you grow a pair of butterfly wings like the ones I have, which... you know, might be helpful in a pinch if you ever need to fly."

I offered Sloane the yellow muffin, knowing that while the wings might have prevented her from falling into the hole in the first place, it would at least prevent the same kind of thing from happening again. However, if she never ate it out of fear for what food does to people here, I couldn't blame her. But then Sonya cried out again.

"Jonathan, pleeeassee!!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming," I sighed before calling out to Sonya, quickly rushing over the "Quadratic Formula" serving counter to get to her. "Hey, what you had before wasn't-"

And then I saw what she had become. A ceramic, green clown head with swirly eyes and a tongue that was sticking out. Holy crap, that was just abysmal!

"Good lord, what did that to you!?" I exclaimed. "Whatever it was needs to burn in a fire, never mind get a warning label!"

"It was the crackers!" Sonya complained. "Oh, please, just feed me something else! Quickly!"

Yeah, wasn't this just a barrel of fun...

Brian Evans -Currently: Human
Location: Forest of Giant Trees
*also a slight clarification in case, Brian's Eevee is in her pokeball right now*

Three days.....three days in this place and so far it's been nothing but like walking around in a nightmare. Eevee and I never did reach our destination...as far as we can tell at least. All I remember hearing before we made our way here was a rumor. A rumor of a place with a wonder beyond any dream. Supposedly it's right where this house sits, but that can't be right after seeing all of this. You'd think it would be an artist's dream to find such a sight right? Sketching out a wonder beyond any other. All I've seen here are a few mystical creatures and talking Pokemon. All which so happened to once be a human. *Brian lets out a sigh*

The only thing keeping me awake telling me it's not just a dream is this aching feeling I have in my stomach. I'm so hungry, but Eevee and I have to hold out and keep rationing our ood...or else something like what happened to that girl back there might happen...and I'd hate to have to deal with that or depending on anyone else that might happen to pass by someday to save us.

Speaking of her...I need to get back on track. Focus and find her someone that can take back without exposing myself.

Brian gets to a small clearing. In the clearing is moonlight. After all this time in the forest he hadn't even noticed it was night in this area. The only thing here was a few branches hanging over the center where the moonlight shine down, a few apples, flowers around in a circle and in the center was a large pile of leaves. Brian attempts to get closer, but stops when he hears multiple voices all yelling something different at the same time. He could only really make out one important one.

"DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!" the voices shouted

"Agh...again with these mysterious voices. Where are they coming from this time? Who or...what are you?" I said

"We're all in this pile of leaves." the voices said.

"Oh so you're in a trap? Is that why you said to stop? There's a trap beneath the pile of leaves?" I ask

"No, we ARE the leaves! These flowers once we got close enough sprayed something out at us and then suddenly each one of us turned into a leaf! We can barely even move!" They try to explain

"Look, look...I have an idea." One of the voices from the pile of leafs exclaimed. "There's a small stream to your left. Take that path and get some water. PLEASE tell me you have something to carry water in?" The small voice pleaded.

Hmm, you know I didn't think about that. Consuming anything even meant water, not just the food. DUH! I thought to myself. How could I forget that. I've got plenty of old water bottles just in case. Not just that, but some containers in which I use for painting. Luckily I carry around an old one.

I thank the leaves and try and slowly make my way down the path where the stream is supposed to be. Hopefully this place won't play anymore tricks. I've already made 2 promises to help others in this one area alone!

He was trying to comfort her. This Cinccino with butterfly wings that was once a human named Jonathan was trying to make her feel better. Sloane would be lying if she said it didn't help some. Not a lot, but some. He was right, maybe Odessa wasn't dead. This was a place where the laws of physics or… well the laws of just about anything didn't seem to apply. Maybe that meant Newton's laws of gravity weren't part of this place either. Or the laws of life and death. Sloane could only hope.

"Thanks," Sloane replied weakly. "Odessa is a Mawile. She's got a collar with a mawilite in it and her pokeball is a Heavy Ball. I'll just… stay here for now I guess. You're the first true company I've had since I got here a day ago. It's better than just going it alone. Like, I had my team but… it's not the same and they know it. Especially since I've become very accustomed to human company. It's just… better for me I guess."

Arceus couldn't this Sonya person take a hint that this was supposed to be a somber moment? Odessa was gone and this chick just didn't give any of the Tauros craps. Well inst this an odd attraction, A trick house they call it? Hmm...strange people find being tricked amusing? I dont quite like tricks if i had to be honest. Although we could use a break from the traveling and our appointments with our clients Isn't till later in the week.

"Eh Scyther lets get out of the sun and grab a snack."

*grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrumble*

"HO....hahaha well the sound of hunger cant fool me my odd friend"

As long as we don't enter the attractions we shouldn't be tricked. Although i have an uneasy feeling brewing within. I hate tricks. It's rude and unmanly. A man should stand his ground pull up his sleeve and find bliss in a gritty but pleasant fight, now that's a true attraction.

"Hello, My name is Joarro Louis Jozander, Im a Barber/stylist for Stylish Brutes. You might have heard of us from many great looking people. Thats right i said beautiful people. Why might you ask? Well because its my life duty to bring out the beauty that lies deep within ones musc----"

It was then that a shiver had shot threw my spine. My vision blurred a split second and a high pitch tone rang out my ear drums. It was a sinister feeling.

*pant*

My chest ceased up slightly and made it hard to breathe. Scyther was able to pick up on the issue and distanced himself from me. I immediately began to brace myself. Conjuring up strength to settle with this ominous feeling that was soon approaching.

"YEEEEEEEEYAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW"

I shouted. A common breathing and yelling technique to draw power from ones muscles. Blood had rushed to my muscles to allow my energy to disburse. The energy drew momentum form the air trapped within my lungs and made way to my abdominal. My core harnessed this force and unleashed its potential.

"poof."

A simple burst of vapor released from my behind.

"My that was a viscous one. Good thing no one was around. I could have took out a flock of Pidgy with that one. Well i must use the washroom. Scyther best behave till I get back"

*gasp...gasp..gaspp* as wheezed Scyther.

I laid my bag down outside the washroom door and sat down on the toilet. I took time to analyze the situation and found it odd that no one would be in the foyer. Could that have been a trick?

As i pulled toilet paper i noticed something was written on it.

"You been tricked :).

A trap door then opened below flushing me along with my remains.

"Well this is shitty" i murmured.

So Odessa is a Mawile with a Mawilite collar. I would definitely be on the lookout for her and I truly hoped one of us would find her soon safe and sound. Sloane seemed a little somber, and rightfully so, but it seemed like me just being there for her meant a lot. I mean hey, she provided these extremely helpful writing tools and paper. I owed her a favor for this!

But.. Sonya had to butt in because she absolutely had to be something cute. She was kind of getting annoying, but she was pretty instrumental in figuring out what all these weird foods did. I wrote on the cabinet:

"These crackers turn you into a green, ugly, ceramic clown head. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!"

"Please, this is the worst one ever!" Sonya screamed to the high heavens.

"For pete's sake, girl, relax," I told her, thinking she could have waited a bit for Sloane and I to finish our meaningful conversation before pigging out again.

Okay, so after searching around, I found some white chocolate drops for her in a whole variety of shapes like stars, hearts, clovers, and whatever. I swore, it seemed like 99% of the stuff here was candy or dessert, which was really odd for a food court. In any case, I fed a few to Sonya the clown head and awaited the results.

Well, she transformed from a clown head into... a Galvantula. I didn't even wait for the giant yellow spider transformation to finish before noting it down on the cabinet and picking something else out.

"AAIIIIEEEEEEE!!!!" Sonya screamed. "NNOOOOO!!!"

"I'm working on it!" I shouted back to her.

Geez, she looked at me with a horrified look in her eyes like I should have known chocolate drops would turn her into that. So, I tried with some sugar-coated candy balls from another box. No dice, that just made her a green Galvantula instead and replaced her eight legs with tentacles. Definitely noted that on the cabinet as a "do not touch." Then I had her try some sugar wafers. Nah, that just put a bunch of ugly-looking spikes on her Galvantula back. But I noted that on the cabinet as well in case someone actually wanted something like that.

"I'M A FREEEEAAAK!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

Well, at least she wasn't going hungry.

"Back to Lotad?" I asked, almost laughing at all of this. Hey, it was still better than the sock puppet and the clown head.

"Just... try something else!" She screamed.

So I tried feeding her flavored sugar from a pixy stix. That just turned her into a Gigalith, which was an improvement, but of course a rocky, spiky Pokémon obviously didn't fall under the "cute category." But, I noted that on the cabinet.

"WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST SAVE ONE OF THOSE CINNAMON BUNS!?" She shouted.

"Hey, ha, ha, I'm trying!" I started laughing. "But the... your face is.. ha, ha, it's... making me laugh!"

"IT'S NOT FUNNY!" She barked at me.

Alright, I just tried to suppress the giggles and grabbed the last of the snacks from Quadratic Formula's cabinets. Hey, she had Infernape at one point and she blew that, so I didn't feel that sorry for her. I then grabbed a box of sugar cookies with rainbow sprinkles. Well, at this point, it was anyone's guess as to what these did.

So, I popped one in her Gigalith mouth and stepped away. Well, that one just made her all yellow and gooey. But hey, we were making great progress on finding out what these all did...

and that people should know to stay FAR away from most of these...!

Brian Evans -Currently: Human
Location: River in the Forest of Giant Trees

Finally I made it. It seemed like it was much farther than I thought. Oh well, at least it's here. Let's see...

Brian sets down his bag to search for something to carry any water from the stream in and pulls out a rather large container he used to hold old used paint. Luckily he still had it on him from his last trip. Brian filled the small container, luckily enough nothing odd happened just from touching the water. The river was in an open area where the moonlight had started to fade and it got slightly brighter in the sky. Barely any trees around the river. After filling the container he started heading back in hopes he even CAN get back. After some time...

What the...? Isn't this...where the pile of talking leaves were? The flowers are still here, the branches are hanging down and still, and it looks as if there's some sunlight peeking through the clouds now, but somehow it looks different. Maybe it's because it's just now starting to rise. That's not important though...what is important...is what happened to those others. They couldn't have just moved on their own. Looking around more Brian sees the branches are slightly dripping with water and just thinks they must've had water drop on them and they changed into something else that way. Lucky for them...something able to move on it's own.

After thinking for some time, enough time for the sun to start peeking through the trees a bit more. Brian figures that since they aren't there anymore that he can find his way back to the tree. In fact, he has water he can give her from the river, but...the path seems to split. It didn't split before...

Ugh, great the tricks are starting again. Now how do I get back? They both look the same....I guess....I just need to chance it. Hopefully it leads to where I need to go.

Brian decides to take the left path. Both ways were still shaded by the suns rays at least. It continued to get brighter out as the sun rose. Only to find himself back at the river, except this time it wasn't in the open. Trees covered the river as it turned less into a river and more of a stream with water just trickling down rather than flowing.

Okay this is annoying...how am I going to find my way. You know what...I'll just head back. Maybe with any luck I'll find my way back.

After some time walking. Brian finds the area starting to look a bit more familiar again. The sun now peaking up enough to shine over most trees. Things started to look a bit different further in. Trees were that were once there were....missing. Brian finally finds the area he remembers seeing Lily, but she was no where to be found. A giant clearing is just left where a tree once was and many others as well.

"LILY!!!!" I called out. Hoping to hear anything, maybe even a response. Even if it wasn't from her.

......silence throughout the whole forest resounded back to Brian as he's left clueless at what happened. Had he stumbled into some other realm without noticing it? Had he left Lily and the others in another part of the forest? They couldn't have just disappeared...right?

Moments pass as Brian tries to figure out what happened. Even if logic doesn't apply to this world from what he's seen. Brian has seen enough to know the main thing. One cannot change into something else unless they consume something...

"can that really be the only way? I know some transformations are temporary rather than you needing to eat again, but she acted like she had been there a while. Long enough at least....so...how?" I said looking around as to what could have possib- Brian looks at the sunlight sitting in the spot where a large tree used to be

"wait...don't tree's use sunlight as a source of energy? Could she have been turned into something else by the sun? If so, that not good! Every living thing gets energy from the sun....meaning......I need to find a way out of here and fast if that's true!" I thought out loud.

I'm sorry Lily....I hope you're ok now. For now, I need to get to safety before that sunlight reaches it's peak and there's nowhere to run or hide!

Brian sticks as close to the trees and moving as fast possible to avoid any sunlight that may be peaking through.

"Come on luck don't fail me now. I need to find a door...a passage way...SOMETHING to get away from this! If only I-

Suddenly the ground gives way and Brian is falling into what seems like an endless pit

"Well...that turned out to be a bit of luck...but now I'm stuck here...I don't even see much light here at all. At least I'm safe from that sunlight."

Fox Oleander- Mermaid
A Small Pond
Affected RP'ers: Morzone

Had it been three months ago, Fox would have been offended that this twig that was once human thought she wasn't once a human too. Now, she realized that it was easy to doubt anything one saw in this trick house maze. Fox signed a little and swished her tail back and forth. Then she reached out and gently grasped the twig. Pushing off on the water with her tail, Fox began to move to shore, trying to keep the twig above water since this person might still need air, unlike Fox.

"Yeah, I was. Three months ago. I think. It's hard to keep track when you're stuck in a pond for all your days. Time seems to blur together down here. I could have been here forty years and I would never know. So I guess the best answer is, I was once human, a long while ago."

Fox swam up to the shore and placed the twig on the shore next to what appeared to be a Roserade garden statue.

Well, Sloane was finding great amusement and distraction from her problems in Sonya's own. Sure, Sonya didn't deserve Sloane's scorn, but at the same time she totally did. the woman was such a diva. Sloane was tempted to tell Jonathan to ditch the woman but that wasn't the nice thing to do. And Sloane was all about being nice. Well not really, but still, being stuck here five months in a form you didn't like couldn't be easy. Sonya at least deserved a little better.

Sloane looked down at the muffin in her hands. Butterfly wings huh? This brought a smirk to her lips. She could see it now. Sloane goes to compete in a battle tournament after she's gotten out of here and sends out her shiny Umbreon, Excalibur, only for the Umbreon to have a large pair of majestic butterfly wings. That would definitely freak some people out. Sloane reached out and placed it in her bag. She might need the muffin later on. Best to save it. Then she heard a stomach growl and it wasn't her's.

"Someone's hungry." Asch whimpered and glanced down. A few other stomach growls followed. There was no denying it. They were all starving at this point. Sloane sighed. Well she couldn't deny them food any longer. Not with those faces. Sloane reached into her bag and pulled out the various food cans. Sloane poured out a few pellets per Pokemon then placed the cans back into her bag. Sloane leaned back and watched everyone scarf down their food. Sloane cringed as her stomach growled again. She couldn't eat. She wouldn't eat. She couldn't afford to yet.

The Food Court

Next on the list was this little place called 1974. It had a spacey theme with planets and stars and they seemed to have served lots of sodas, sugary drinks, and stuff like that. Obviously nothing about it made sense, but hey, drinks were drinks. Hopefully there was something here that Sonya would like and was good enough to present to Sloane as an alternative. So far, the only thing worth really holding onto were those yellow muffins.

As I went through each drink with Sonya, I noted it on the cabinet.

Super Galaxy Pop Fizz Strawberry Cola... that just turned Sonya into a large grape-flavored gummy bear. Noted, and obviously we weren't sticking with that. Although I did wonder what would happen if someone took a bite out of her like that. Would that cause a transformation?

Sunrise Maximum Cola turned her into a Wingull. I thought we finally hit a jackpot here for a cute Pokémon, but apparently it wasn't "cute enough." Cherry Explosion Cola just warped her poor Wingull body around. Renegade Grape Cola turned her into a vacuum cleaner, which we obviously weren't going to stick with, and Supreme Lime Cola made said vacuum cleaner become purple and two-dimensional. Sweet Raspberry Cola then turned her into a Golurk, and obviously she wasn't happy with that either. But, I at least noted everything on the wall above the cabinet:

Super Galaxy Pop Fizz Strawberry Cola = Turns you into a gummy bear. Best to avoid.
Sunrise Maximum Cola = Wingull
Cherry Explosion Cola = Warps your body around. Avoid!
Renegade Grape Cola = Turns you into a vacuum cleaner. Don't be a sucker, pun intended!
Supreme Lime Cola = Makes you purple and two-dimensional. No bueno.
Sweet Raspberry Cola = Golurk

But hey, we were making great progress! So far, almost everything in this entire food court was horrible! Unless you were crazy. Yet again, the yellow muffins that grant butterfly wings were the only thing worth trying!

"Oh, this isn't working either!" She complained, really unhappy with her Golurk body.

"Last place here is Haxy Snax," I told her, knowing after this, we had nothing left to try. "You'd better hope we find something."

Haxy Snax was lots of weird snacks with a Old West theme that featured... robot cowboys and cyber horses for whatever wacky reason. First thing I pulled out were red pretzels. And those changed Sonya into a green, gelatinous blob. No surprise she didn't want to stick with that. Then she tried a bag of purple popcorn, which I "fed" to her by just sprinkling some on her jelly body. That turned her into a Doublade, which again, didn't fall under the "cute Pokémon category."

But then came a breakthrough...

Star Chips, which were gold potato chips in the form of stars, changed her into an Oshawott. A perfectly normal, healthy, honest to goodness Oshawott with nothing screwy about her.

"Okay, I... guess this is good enough," Sonya replied, looking like she was at least somewhat satisfied with being an Oshawott.

"You GUESS!?" I nearly shouted, laughing my butt off. "Oshawott is perfectly cute! How could you NOT be out of your mind overjoyed about this?"

"Okay, okay, sorry for being such a pain," She flushed with embarrassment. "You're right, I think these are worth holding onto."

Finally, my goodness, what a fussy person she was. I took one of the bags of Star Chips and could proudly say that we now had the power to make anyone into a Oshawott! And give them butterfly wings. That was certainly a heck of a lot better than many of the other miserable things we had here.

I noted this on Haxy Snax's wall:

Red pretzels = turns you into a green blob. Avoid, unless the life of a booger seems appealing to you.
Purple Popcorn = Doublade
Star Chips = Oshawott

There were a few other untested snacks in that cabinet, but I figured Sonya had more than enough to guzzle and chow down on and she'd be just fine as an Oshawott for a nice, long while. In the meantime, I was definitely not thinking of testing the rest of those snacks out myself, because compared to everything else I had seen Sonya get turned into, being a Cinccino was heavenly in comparison. Okay, so we didn't map out the WHOLE food court, but we certainly got most of it covered and I was sure we just saved somebody from a whole lot of future grief.

"Now then," I told Sonya, introducing her to Sloane and Shay the Shaymin. "This here is Sloane, and we need to help her find a Mawile named Odessa she lost when the food court floor gave way. In the meantime, while we look for this Mawile, we're going to map out the rest of this place. I lost my Pokémon also, so I'm on the lookout for them at the same time."

"Same here," Sonya sighed. "But I lost mine almost three months ago. I have no idea what happened to them."

"Well, we're going to find out," I told her, confident that by mapping out the Trick House, we could eventually cover everything and help direct the others toward the exit.

Hall of Faces

"Outsanding! I fell down a washroom sized chute and did not get waste on me! Truly Outstanding!"

As I came to from such a marvelous contraption and what felt like riding a 30 foot slide, i started to question the scenario that I have been dealt. Separated from Scyther, my first objective was to get my way back up before he was caught in a trap as well. Although, it seemed i was caught up in a dilemma of my own.

"So dark"

Besides the light emitting from the very chute I fell from, the room was as dark as the night sky had the moon and stars burned there fuse. As I took my first stride I happened to step on something. Chestnut in color, half an arms length, and charred on the end.

"A torch? How convenient."

A torch when i most needed it? Perhaps too convenient. Although there was no matches or a source of fire for it to be of any use. How bizzare....the end is charred...its been used. A participant of the trick house must of dropped it but why? and Where are they now?

"HELLO! anyone there?"

Seems like no one is here. Only if this thing could light u---

*SPARK*

*KSSSSHHHHHH*

With sheer surprise the torch had burst and was emitting a flame on its one end. Startled by this i had thrown it about 10 feet ahead of me. The flame was lit bright and fierce. How could this have happened I wondered. Could the torch be a trick as well? I hate tricks.

"So rude" I murmured.

My frustration had ceased when i had gained composure and realized the situation. With the bright flame the room was slightly more visible. What stood before me was a wall....a wall of faces?!

*GRRRRRUMBLE GRRRRRRRRRRUMBLE GRRRRRRUMBLE*

As a rumble like sound filled the room only one thought came to mind.

Well I sure am hungry.

I was sure Sonya had enough to eat and drink to last her for a while. And even though it had changed her into a buttload of weird and loony things in the process, she was finally satisfied with the Oshawott form she ended up getting. Me on the other hand, I was feeling a bit hungry and that yellow muffin was barely a breakfast, but I really didn't want to lose the Cinccino form and possibly get turned into something dumb. I remembered I found the Cinccino cinnamon buns in a wine cellar like room, but the chances of me finding it again anytime soon were pretty slim.

The exit door to the food court was probably another one of these trick doors that kept opening to different rooms. As Sonya had observed, I opened and closed the door repeatedly and figured out the whole cycle while noting it on the wall.

The first room was a chemical laboratory where everything was in silver but the lighting was green for whatever reason. Second room was an indoor greenhouse with all kinds of really strange and bizarre plants and flowers. Third room led outside to a snowy tundra that also had huge piles of colorful ice cream and toppings. Room #4 lead into a medical office waiting room that had a rainbow disco ball and flashing strobe lights. Room #5 lead to a really, really long hallway with spiral patterns on the walls with another door at the far end, and Room #6 was a dungeon with red, stone walls that seemed to have some kind of strange, black ooze dripping from the walls. I then cycled through everything again and I wrote it all on the wall next to the door with the marker Sloane had given me:

Silver Laboratory
Mystical Greenhouse
Ice Cream Land
Medical Waiting Room Disco
Spiral Hallway
Red Dungeon

"Oh, I see what you're doing now!" Sonya caught on. "That's a good idea, but... it's almost cheating."

"Of course it's cheating," I smiled smugly. "Most of the people stuck in here don't even know these doors cycle through the next rooms. This finally gives everyone some sense of direction! So, what room do you want to try?"

"No ice cream," Sonya told me as she patted her belly, looking like she had more than enough to eat. "No on the science lab and on that weird dungeon. Maybe... the greenhouse?"

"Sure," I told her with a smile, cycling through the room selection until we got to the greenhouse room.

The two of us stepped inside and I couldn't help but let my eyes wander at all the strange, fantastical, and colorful plants and flowers that I knew didn't exist anywhere else. I wasn't sure if Sloane was going to follow us into here or take a different path as we tried to find Odessa, but at least she knew how this door was mapped out if she decided to go this way and that the rooms actually have a cycle. I hadn't seen this greenhouse before, but either way, if I mapped out everything I saw, posted warnings, and indicated what certain foods did, maybe the trend would catch on and others could start doing this also. But then again, I imagined not everyone had pens and markers and you simply couldn't trust any writing utensil found in this zoo to work correctly.

I wasn't sure what we were going to find as we ventured into here, but I figured as long as I mapped everything out along the way, we were narrowing down the number of places the exit would be, and if everyone pitched in, eventually we'd rule out the number of places either the exit was or where the Trick Master was hiding.

As I turned around, I saw the door behind us, and decided to map that out also. Again, it had a cycle, but there was something interesting I found. The food court was part of that cycle. The first room looked like an old and dusty attic, the second room was a strange wind tunnel room, the third room was a crimson lake, and the fourth room was the actual food court we had just left. Room #5 was a strange wooden room with a lot of clocks of varying shapes and sizes, and Room #6 was some kind of weird rainforest. I noted that new cycle on the door behind me:

Abandoned Attic
Wind Tunnel Room
Crimson Lake
Food Court
The Clock Room
Strange Rainforest

Oddly enough, I recognized the Food Court from before, but the Attic also. I had seen that same attic about a week ago. Some of these rooms were starting to show themselves again, and while I was quite certain this Trick House maze was huge, it wasn't infinite. It might take a long time to map everything out, but it was possible, and that was giving me a lot more hope of getting out of here.

"What a pretty place!" Sonya exclaimed with a smile as she admired all the plants and flowers. "Way better than that dungeon!"

While I nodded, I knew one of us was going to have to explore that dungeon sooner or later. We couldn't only take the nice and pleasant rooms and forgo all the dingy stuff. It would be just our luck the exit was in an unsettling place like that and we kept missing it based on just wanting to see the nicer places.

As I looked around at all the plants and flowers both on the ground, on shelves, and hanging from the pastel-colored ceramic pots hanging from the ceiling, I didn't really see anything that would help us. I figured we could just pass through here and head to the next room after mapping out the room cycle sequence for that door also.

"H-hey, what the-!?" I heard Sonya suddenly yelp.

I quickly turned to her, and I saw her transforming again. Oh great, after all that work in the food court, now she was getting transformed again anyway. Her Oshawott body suddenly changed shape, color, and form and soon enough, she had become a Sunflora. She was suddenly shocked, feeling her new, giant sunflower head with her leaf hands.

"You ate one of them!?" I shouted, thinking she was nuts for doing that.

"N-no, all I did was sniff it!" Sonya shouted, still bewildered. "I promise!"

That was all it took to get transformed by one of these things!? Holy crap, I immediately put my paws on my nose, although that was a pretty lame attempt to try and prevent myself from accidently inhaling something that would have the same effect on me. I tried to moderate my breathing and hold my breath, especially while passing by some of the larger flowers, but in here, my chances of reaching the exit and not getting affected by anything was pretty slim...

Hall of Faces > Entering the Ruined Dungeon

"As bizarre as this room is...its even more bizarre that food is not in my stomach"

I went to reach for my bag only to realize that i left it in the lobby. This is not good...if i continue to hunger then ill lose control of myself. I should leave this place and find some food. Time has passed and i find my self staring at a face in frustration.

"hello random face on the wall. would u happen to know how to get out of here?"

"...."

"of course you dont" i sighed.

At that moment the face cracked and then faded away. What could this mean? could it be a sign?....or a trick..?

"how rude!" I murmured.

Perhaps these rooms dont all have chutes to go from one room to the other...no...perhaps we must trick our way out?

"HAHAHAHA, i have just the trick too!"

I made my way to a part of the wall without faces. I took a deep breath. Readied my stance. Braced myself. I fired of a single fist with all my force. With succession i was able to break down the wall. With the dust restricting sight a silhouette of a room can be seen.

"I was right! now time to punch my way threw this stupid place."

I progressed past the dust and into a ruined dungeon, like a bomb went off in this dungeon. Wouldn't that be typical though..to be in a poor condition? I continued to ponder about it as i made my way. It's much bigger then the last room and a bit brighter as well.

*GRRRRRRRRUMBLE*

The sound of hunger radiated throughout the dungeon. It was then that i realized that i was not alone in the room. The sound was loud enough to awaken those that lied dormant. The darker reaches began to glow in what resembled the shape of eyes.

"It seems im surrounded. This isn't good. With my hunger...any hostility will tip me over the edge. Ill lose control of myself."

At that moment an aroma had made its way to my scene of smell.

"I must eat!"

All the glowing eyes had caught on to my motive and started screeching as if they were communicating. My eyes searched for anything that resembled food and nothing else. The dormant creatures all moved towards the far back of the dungeon. They must be heading towards the food. Thats what my nose is telling me.

" It is my hunger that will be satisfied!"

I dashed towards them with no remorse and full force. The creatures finally conveyed themselves but i did not take notice. The creatures had spoke but i did not take notice. The creatures in joint effort had tried to stop me but i did not stop.

The aroma that had squeezed through my nostrils to my brain and had rooted itself claiming full possession of my body had only stood was only a few strides away. Persistent and strong in numbers were these creatures. Every inch of my body was covered by there abnormally small size.

"AHHhhhh....there so many..like a hundred of them...and....soo small....." As i turned my head back to goal and continued.

"pwease stup!" one of them shouted.

"pwease stup!" two of them shouted.
"pwease stup!" four of them shouted.
"pwease stup!" eight of them shouted.
"pwease stup!" twenty of them shouted.
"pwease stup!" forty of them shouted.
"pwease stup!" one hundred of them shouted.

"What the hell is 'pweease stup"! your evil tricks will not work on me! I will eat this deliciously looking 3 stacked burger and break your tricks!" i shouted in response.

My body was then fully covered by them. As i fell to the ground in failure my life had flashed before me.

Is this the end?! (I raised my head.)
Will i never cut hair again?!! (raised one knee)
What will the old man think?!!! (raised the other knee)
What about Scyther?!!!! (begin crawling)
.. (moving closer)
.... (closer)
....... (Closer!)
.......... (CLOSER!)

"What about that burger!? it would be a sin to leave it uneaten!!!!! I screamed out loud.

I raised the burger over my head brushing off the creatures. With the strength in my legs i spring off my knees and land on my feet. I then take a bite out of the burger.

"YESSSSSSSSSSSssssssssssssssss!....

actually it could use some hot sauce."

As I lay back continuing to fall in this darkness. I can't help, but to think back. Think back to how this all started for me. How I got trapped in this endless maze. How Eevee and I came here because of one rumor. So far there's been nothing but nightmare like events. We've started taking our food in rations. Not to mention we keep hearing about this person or....THING called "The Trick Master." I mean this place is full of tricks that can make a person's mind go wild, but. Would someone really be this insane to create such a world? I mean. People, actual living human beings....and Pokemon of course. Are being turned into other things. Things beyond what our reality would dictate. Could....could this Trick Master really be *thump* OW! What the?

I look to my back to see what I my head bumped into while rubbing my now throbbing head. "Whoa...Just what is this place?" Apparently I had found some new place. I had been floating through what I thought was an endless room of darkness, but finally. A new room finally surfaced.

But something caught my attention as I began to enter this new place. *GRRRRRRRRUMBLE*

"What was that?!" In response I heard it again right after. grrrumble, but this time it came with a pain and sounded much less fierce than the one I had heard.

"Ugh, I know I know....I need to eat something, but...I can't just forget about Eevee. She needs to eat as well. I guess I should find somewhere to rest or take a break so I can setup a place for us to eat."

Noises continue to echo through this new place, but I can't tell where from. This dungeon could go on forever and I may never find a way out of here. Ha, Eevee wouldn't like it if I brought her out here to eat. It's way too dusty and she's probably get a lot of dirt in her fur. I'd rather not have to clean her here. Washing her off in some water here may just end up transforming her into something else and I'd rather not waste any of our resources here if we can help it. We just have to last long enough to find a way out of here- My thoughts get interrupted by the sound of a voice from down the hall.

""pwease stup!" it echoed

"That was...another voice. Or is it just another trick. Man I'm getting tired of all these "tricks" enough with it Trick Master. Just stop with all these "tricks." I say as I make my way past some wall which looked like it had been knocked down by something. It also looked as if it had a face? I couldn't quite tell and I didn't want to pull out my flashlight and use it unless I absolutely had to.

The voices continued getting louder as I walked the path ahead of me. Until I finally heard something...a voice scream right in front of me. "What about that burger!?" the voice shouted,

Looking closely at what I saw in front of me was a man. He had been covered in many small creature and was reaching for....a burger? Wait....a burger? That means! "Wait NO!" I screamed, but it was too late.

The man suddenly brushed off whatever was covering him and jumped to his feet holding the burger and taking a bite of the burger he held.

"This man is INSANE! Hey...sir! What did you just do?!" I asked to the man that just took a bite of the burger. Knowing full well what might be about to happen. Worried that he might just be about to transform into something right before me

Out of the blue, we had seen a Treecko approach us. He didn't seem too surprised we were here, but it seemed like he had something pressing to tell us.

"W-who are you?" Sonya asked him, still trying to get used to the fact she was a Sunflora now.

"Name's Tom," he told us, looking a little wary. "Looks like you already found out this place likes turning people into grass type Pokémon regardless of what you were before. I heard you guys come in and I was about to warn you, but..."

"Do you...know which plants do what?" I asked as I covered my nose. "I've been going around mapping out which rooms lead to where and what foods and drinks do what. See for yourself." I told him as I pointed to the door.

He looked at my markings at the door curiously, and then his eyes lit up.

"You're a genius!" he told me. "The rooms actually cycle?"

As I tried to hold my breath and use my paws as a pathetic air filter, he tried it for himself, and he saw I was right on the money. He then came back to me and realized what I was doing.

"Wow, I never knew about that!" Tom smiled with surprise. "That's good to know!"

So far, it looked like the plan was working. The more people that noticed this trend, the more it would help everyone. He then came back to me with an amused look on his face.

"Oh, don't bother holding your nose, something here is going to transform you into something before you get to the door," Tom just laughed. "The good thing is once you do, nothing else in the room will transform you once you're a grass type. And it sure feels nice and cozy in here once you do!"

That sure didn't help...

But they decided it needed to be under desperate or safer conditions. Night was starting to fall in the orchard anyway and Dylan didn't really want to deal with any madness right now anyway. He was just really tired and desired some rest.

I stare in awe at how this man is eating this burger he found.

Great....now I've got to deal with a total nutjob! How do I keep getting myself caught in situations like this? Doesn't he know what's going to happen now that he's eating something he found here?

"sigh....great." I say aloud as I continue to watch, until. "Wait....wasn't this man just being attacked by someone or....something?" I try to look around, but it's way too dark to see the entire area.

I got a bad feeling about this place. I'm sorry Eevee. I know we both need to eat, but I need your help. Even if it just helps us get out of this room. I pull out Eevee's pokeball and release her. In a flash of light, Eevee appears in front of me. First thing she does is stare right up at me, as if she was in pain and was asking for food.

I'm sorry girl, just a little longer. If we can make it out of here and find someplace safe, then I promise you that we will eat enough to make it through the night. I just need your strength and ears. We need to be careful. I think we may being watched.

Eevee gives me a weak nod taking it as she understood. We both cautiously make our way around the room, trying to ignore the man eating his burger and whatever may have been around him. Hoping that it won't notice us.

"It's still too dark to see anything. Aghhh....I was hoping to save this, but I don't think we have much choice here." I say as I put down my bag, kneel down and pull out a flashlight. Flipping it on we can finally see things around us much better.

"There!" I say as I start looking around.

"Heh, I didn't think about it til just now, but you were able to see at least somewhat in the dark without this light weren't you Eevee?" I jokingly ask her giving her a smile.

She nods back and in response lets out a "Veee!" Which I assume only means 'Yes!'

"Man, I guess you're pretty lucky then. You don't need a battery and light bulb to see in the dark. Kinda reminds me of....oh yeah." I stop walking and suddenly...feel really down. I can't believe it...I brought that memory back up.

Out of nowhere I had suddenly remembered something. A terrible event that had happened about one year ago now. An event I honestly...would rather never remember.

I stand there a moment before giving myself a mental slap to the face as Eevee nuzzles me on the cheek.

In that moment. I hadn't even noticed it. Eevee had climbed up to my shoulder and was trying to comfort me.

"Thanks Eevee. I'm sorry I worried you there, but your right. Now's not the time to get depressed. We need to check this room out more before we try and find a way out....or before that guy transforms into something we don't want to deal with....sigh.....maybe we should stay. You know...just in case he becomes something that can't move on it's own?" I say to Eevee as I give her a pet on her head between her ears. She gives me a smile and continues to nuzzle me.

"Alright. Well we can't just sit here. That man will be done with his burger any minute now and we need to be on the lookout for whatever was attacking him as well! Now's not the time to get distracted! I mentally shook my head, trying to snap myself back into it while Eevee and I continue my search around the room." I say as we begin searching once again for anything or relevance in the room.

The sounds of a savage. Very un-gentlemen like...but i had no choice. My hunger can be endured if it wasn't the very key that let loose the monster within me. I cant be hurting others...for the sake of being a gentlemen. I will not allow it. For it is the life of people that must come--- whoa...What the hell is that furball. As i continued to to chow down on the burger i stare directly at rodant like creature. Hmm...that must have been what was attacking me. I could've sworn there were more. They kinda of look like that those venonat i seen back in kanto years ago. Gross. I would hate to look like that.

The creature then made its way to me and pulled out a mirror...

"I woudln't be talking pal" It said rudely.

As I gaze into the mirror i notice that antenna were probing out of my head and hair growing out of my face.

"Hmm..." i questioned.

"You idiot...your starting to become one of us now!..." it shouted.

"hmm..!?" I questioned with a raised eyebrow"

"Weird though we all shrieked but your still the same--"

Before it could even finish what it was saying. i kicked it in the face.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH what the hell is happening to me"

I then stopped yelling and freaking out to notice that afar somebody was making there way.

"That guy looks familiar".

Jonathan Bradshaw - Cinccino with butterfly wings > Bellossom
Mystical Greenhouse

Well, so much for the Cinccino form. I guess I was kidding myself if I thought I'd be actually getting out of here with it.

"Dude, please, I need something decent with hands, and fast!" I told him, knowing it was crucial if I still wanted to be able to write. "If I can't write, I can't map the rooms out for everyone or carry this stuff we need!" And then I looked at Sonya. "And her hands... just became leaves."

"Uhh... let me see..." he looked around quickly with his eyes darting from plant to plant, strangely familiar with how this place worked. "No... no... that's too far... no... wait... right there! Follow me!"

I followed him with Sonya the Sunflora close behind and tried to hold my breath for as long as possible so as to not inhale anything unintentionally and get transformed into a grass type that could ruin the whole plan. It sucked I was going to lose the Cinccino form, but I guess I couldn't have expected to have it forever. Tom led us down an aisle on the right and eventually we came to some strange but rather large red and magenta flowers.

"Here, breathe into those," Tom the Treecko told me. "Do it quick, before you accidently get turned something else without hands!"

I just followed his advice, approached the red and magenta flowers, put my nose into one of them, and sniffed deeply. Whoa, what a sweet and powerful smell. And Sonya was right, it sure didn't take much to trigger these things. I rapidly transformed, feeling my body warping around as I felt a bit dizzy and disoriented from the effects. When it finally stopped and found my bearings, I looked at my light green arms and saw I was now surrounded by a skirt of green and yellow leaves and then looked up to see I had red flowers growing out of my head. And then when I tried to move, I realized I didn't actually even have feet anymore.

"A-Am I a... Bellossom?" I asked, figuring that's exactly what this was adding up to.

"Hey, you've got hands and you look decent, just like you asked!" Tom smirked. "Trust me, not a whole lot of grass types have both of those going for them! And all the others were... way in the back over there."

Well, this would at least still allow me to write, so I couldn't complain about it. It did feel really different though, and I wasn't too good at this whole sliding around on leaves thing. It would definitely take a little while to get used to.

"Uh... thanks," I told him, still wondering about something. "I'm curious though, how do you know so much about this greenhouse?"

"I gave up trying to ever leave this place," Tom replied. "This greenhouse has some weird things about it, but it's more comfortable than some of the other rooms and doesn't have too many unsettling surprises. So, I kind of just hang around here and help others that pass by through it."

"Nah, dude, no need to stay cooped up in here," I told him, figuring out another solution for this pad of paper. "With your help, I'll write down what each plant turns people into, and put it right in front of them. Easy money."

Tom the Treecko nodded, but he seemed a little cautious.

"I see what you're doing, but... I think you're going to get the Trick Master's attention," he warned me. "In a bad way."

"Well good, I sure hope so," I replied, ready to stuff a melon down that clown's throat. "Some of us have been stuck down here for months. Playtime is over, we've got to start pulling this place apart if we ever want to get out of here."

He nodded, and it seemed like I managed to convince him.

"Where is your god now, puny maggots? MWHAHAHAHAA!"

"Shiloh! Stop scaring them! It's not funny!"

Well this was definitely strange. Sloane stood up and began to walk towards the sounds. There was a heavy fog so I was hard to see but as she drew closer to the voices it appeared that the fog was lifting. In the distance she could see two… very odd looking creatures. One was what appeared to be a Flygon but with Ariados legs and the arms, legs, rings, and hair of Hoopa's Unbound form. The other was a vulpix of many colors with what Sloane could only guess to be zubat wings. The Flygon thing was laughing and pointed with one of his hoopa hands at a cluster of Pokemon and humans with various unnatural features cowering by the edge of a cliff. The vulpix was hitting the Flygon with his paws but it didn't seem to do much.

"Why, Patty? This is so much fun! I finally get to be on top of the food chain. I'm never eating anything in this house again!"

Sloane watched from behind a cluster of rocks as a Mightyena with a green overcoat and two Gracidea flowers growled then jumped from the crowd.

"Hey!" she snarled. "This isn't funny! You're just playing the trick master's game you know! Don't you want to escape or go back home?"

"Honey," the Flygon that Sloane presumed was Shiloh, "I've been here a long time and let me tell you something. This is the first time I've actually gotten something with literally no downsides. I'm going to use it to its fullest abilities before something here changes me back. Got it? Now, since you were so kind enough to volunteer, I'll play with you first." Shiloh opened a portal with one of his rings and said, "Eeny, Meeny, miny, here we go! Have fun!" Shiloh picked up the Mightyena and dropped her into the ring. The ring closed behind her and Shiloh grinned. "Who's next?"

"Hey!" Shiloh looked up towards Sloane. "That's not funny! Leave them alone!" That didn't seem to please the giant monster.

"Oh? So you're my next volunteer? Okay then!" Sloane felt herself be picked up by one of the floating hands and was pulled over beside Shiloh. "Let's see," he said as a ring opened and different destinations flipped through. "Eeny, Meeny, miny, mo. This one looks good! Here you go!" With that Shiloh released Sloane and Sloane dropped through the portal. Suddenly she crashed into the ocean and was swept onto a nearby beach.

Jonathan Bradshaw - Bellossom
Mystical Greenhouse

So, I worked with Tom, made labels for all the plants and indicated what each of them turned people into, and basically spared him the trouble of having to stay here to guide people. In the meantime, I was slowly getting used to this whole Bellossom move around using leaves thing. It was... definitely different.

"Done," I proudly stated as we finished the last label. "I swear, making all these labels is not easy work, but in time, it'll help everyone get out of here."

"I think the Trick Master is some kind of sadist," Tom told me as we headed to the exit. "I'm a little worried that he's a powerful sadist, though. How else could something like this be created?"

Yeah, I nodded to that. He had a pretty good point. In the meantime, Sonya as a Sunflora looked like she had been getting sick of her current form. I swear, she was never happy with anything she got turned into.

"Can we just go, please!?" Sonya complained again. "This form just feels awful after a while. I didn't like it before but now it's torture."

"Sheesh, fine," I sighed, figuring I'd map out the exit door of the Greenhouse now.

We then headed to the door, and I decided to map this one out also. First time I opened it, I found it leading to a room with a lot of fountains in many different sizes and designs with water of many different colors. Then there was a room that was completely engulfed in flames, which I figured had to be some kind of incinerator. Yeah, we were definitely not heading in there like this. Next up, a living room where everything was made of colored paper. Then, for #4, the door led outside to a small pond, and #5 was some kind of ruined city or town. After that, the rooms just cycled again and I noted it on the wall.

Fountain Room
Incinerator Room
The Paper Room
Outdoor Pond
Ruined City

"You sure these lists are going to stay?" Tom asked, worried what I was writing might melt or jump right off the wall.

"I found a wonderful young lady who gave me this pen, marker, and paper," I told him, very thankful Sloane had them to begin with. "They're from the real world, so they're not subject to the weirdness of this place."

"Please, let's go to the room with the fountains," Sonya begged. "Maybe the water there will change me into something better."

"Or something worse," I told her, knowing she certainly got her fill of horrible stuff back in the food court. "But, if you really want to, fine, and if things don't work out, I can give you a few of those Star Chips and you can just be an Oshawott again."

"Sure," she sighed, still hoping to become something cuter.

I just shrugged. I guess that was fair, but really, she was getting to be quite silly about being totally unable to make up her mind and just make the best out of what she got.

With whatever strength he had left, he felt his new body parts, they were short and curly. His tail was long, sleek, and furry. "What did I get myself into?" I continue looking around the room for anything that could get me out of here. A sign, a clue, or just about anything that could hint as the a way out of not only this room, but this entire place!

"Man I really wish there were something interesting around here that could pose as a clue about this place. I swear I've been here three days now. Three days and not found anything of relevance to help get out of this place." I say and sigh as a result.

I look over to the man that was over in the other corner of the room eating burger and notice he's beginning to change form as expected. Not only that, but now there's many others around him and they are all looking at me in a pretty excited way.

"Well I knew that was coming. Seriously, did you NOT know that eating something here would change you into something? What's gotten into you? Were you really THAT hungry?" I ask the man who now looks very similar to the form of a Venonat.

"Either way, I might be able to help you all change forms if you want. Though I imagine whatever we try may not be as good as a Venonat. In fact it could be something the would make you wish you stayed a Venonat. So if you're sure you want a way out follow me." I say, not caring if they really follow me or not

Ugh...it wasn't my plan to get so many followers, but....I really need to find a place to rest so Eevee and I can eat

"Tell you all what." I say as I stop walking and look back to them

"Why don't you all start looking around. If you find anything that you think would be important then bring it to me. Eevee and I are gonna go just into the room next door. All of you just keep looking. Once Eevee and I are done we will join you. Just remember, don't come to us unless you find anything. Especially you." I say as I point to the man who just transformed after eating the burger.

"You're....a bit too crazy. I'd happily explain things you don't know about this place to you, but I don't want you losing your mind around me and hurting me or Eevee." I said to the Venonat looking man

I drifted off into my own thoughts as I walked into the next room with Eevee still hanging on to my shoulder. Trying to find some privacy to get a small meal in at least.

Man I feel sorry for this man. He's slowly becoming a Venonat. I really want to help everyone here, but....how? Whatever they may be fed might change them into something worse.

I begin to unpack some things as Eevee leaps off my shoulder to the ground. A pile of dust rises as she does. She shakes herself to try and keep any dirt out from her fur. After that she gives me a stare as if she were upset we were in such a place.

"Yeah, I know Eevee I'm sorry it's a mess in here, but this was the only place I could find nearby. If we risked another place who knows what we might have ended up in. This was the best place I could find for now. So let's just eat while we can. Besides, with those Venonat people, we might just be lucky enough to stay hidden from anything that might try to sneak up on us." I talk with Eevee while pulling out some food.

I pulled out an apple, still no signs of rot to it. A half full bag of Pokechow with one more full bag still in the pack. As well as 3 water bottles. I pulled out a single water bottle and Eevee's small cup I carry around for her water and fill it 1/4th of the way full and pour out a little Pokechow for her.

"Don't worry girl. I'm sure that should be more than enough for now." I tell Eevee happily as I give her a caring pet through her fur.

"I guess for now" I say as I take a bite of my apple. "We wait and eat. Let's enjoy this brief moment while we can" I say as I pull out some paper and pens from my bag.

The Fountain Room

In here, we had five fountains, one eager Sunflora test subject who absolutely insisted on becoming something adorable, and a Treecko who was beginning to agree with me that Sonya was nuts. I was almost beginning to think she was getting addicted to the whole transforming thing. But then again, I wouldn't be too crazy being a Sunflora either.

In this room, the five fountains were all different styles, sizes, and the liquid they were spraying were all different colors. The rest of the room seemed to be in marble and concrete with a checkerboard-tiled floor of black and white. In any case, I was fine with being a Bellossom and had no interest in sipping that water. But Sonya just waddled her way right up to closest, medium-sized fountain with silver engravings and was spraying purple liquid, and starting drinking it.

While she was doing that, I mapped out the door behind me. The first was a strange locker room with doors of all sizes and colors, the second was an outdoor park with many polka-dots all over the place, third was the greenhouse we were just in, fourth was the art gallery I was in before, and fifth was the grape soda swimming pool I saw before.

Rainbow Locker Room
Polka-dot Park
Mystical Greenhouse - The plants change you into grass-type Pokémon! See labels for details.
Art Gallery - Nothing of interest here, mostly just weird art.
Grape Soda Swimming Pool - WARNING: Do NOT drink from the pool! Changes people into sock puppets!

This was working out pretty well. Abusing the whole door cycle thing was letting me see rooms I had already seen before, and I could help anyone that came through here by writing out the notes on the walls.

As for Sonya, I just got the marker ready, all set to let everyone know what this fountain did. I saw her drink the purple liquid, and suddenly she was entirely coated with metal, but still a Sunflora. She stepped back in shock, clanging the floor with every step she took.

"No, no... this is just not good!" Sonya complained. "Let me try something else!"

"Is she always like this?" Tom asked me as she waddled off to the small fountain with the red liquid.

"You should have seen her at the food court," I sighed, knowing that was a real pain. "She had to try out everything and I just barely got her to be happy with Oshawott."

Well, she was still pretty helpful about being the guinea pig for all these weird things the Trick House did. She was certainly saving everyone else a whole lot of trouble.

What's happened to me?" He said, panicking. He stood up, then stumbled over something small. Pichu! Only... now it was pichu with gray-ish fur, a tail, and some small horns. Joshua could just make out that he was a pichu under it all, but that was probably because he knew him so well. "This cannot be happening." He groaned, looking at himself and his pokemon in horror.

The Fountain Room

The Fountain Room was fascinating. Basically, what it ended up doing was changing your type. The medium purple fountain changed the typing to Steel, the small red one changed the typing to Rock, the huge one with the blue liquid changed the typing to Fire, the smaller one with the yellow liquid changed typing to Dark, and the last of them, a really tiny fountain with green liquid, changing typing to Fairy. It really made me wonder what it would have done to us as humans. But, I took note of it and wrote down on each of the fountains and in the middle of the floor.

These fountains change your typing.

Purple = Steel
Red = Rock
Blue = Fire
Yellow = Dark
Green = Fairy

Of course, Sonya wasn't too thrilled about being a pink and white Fairy-type Sunflora, so I offered her the star chips she needed to become Oshawott again. But, she turned them down and still wasn't satisfied with that...

"Fussy one, isn't she?" Tom the Treecko told me.

"Tell me about it," I sighed, wondering if it was even worth keeping these things anymore. "She could get turned into a legendary Pokémon and still complain it wasn't cute."

"I heard that!" she shouted back, not sounding too happy.

After that, I decided to head to the exit door. I noticed there were two of them now, so I had at it and mapped them out. The upside-down pool hall was one I had seen before, same thing with the candy store, although that had been a while ago. #3 lead to what looked like a rainbow slide in the clouds that kept going on and on until it simply faded out of view. #4 lead back to the furnace room, and #5 led to some kind of apple orchard. Finally, the last one in the cycle was some sort of gray-colored hotel lobby with a lot of plants everywhere for whatever reason.

Upside-down Pool Hall
Candy Store
Rainbow Slide
Furnace Room
Apple Orchard
Hotel Lobby

And then I did the same thing with the second exit door.

Basketball Court
Dark Subway
Dining Room
Floating Cubicle Farm
Purple Parking Lot
Movie Theater

"Oh, you're making this too easy!" Tom nearly laughed. "This is going to suck all the challenge out of the Trick House!"

"See, we'll be out of here soon enough," I smiled smugly. "Easy money."

But then Tom looked at me strangely. His entire disposition changed and I suddenly realized he wasn't who I thought he was.

"No... no... I simply cannot allow this," Tom told me with a warped voice. "Cannot allow this. Cannot allow this."

And then he simply exploded... into colorful confetti. And then the lighting suddenly went dark...

Oh man...

As tempting as taking the food from him would be i need to make sure they dont attack him. I know i seen his face on the wall and i need answers!

"Hey you creatures....if you were once real people you should know not to attacking people for their food!, get a hold of yourself!" I shouted.

"Lets all settle down and discuss this. I have some food in my bag, but i lost it. If we all work together in finding it i would gladly share with you all"

The look in their eyes did not change and their hostility was beginning to take action.

"Hey kid listen to me! In the room before this one, You probably came from there, exists a wall of faces. I happened to recognize your face from that very same wall! Why is that!? Who are all those people!? Do you know them!? How do i get out of this!? i questioned.

The kid remained silent, perhaps he has recognized the situation he is in. Perhaps he doesn't trust me....i do look like them after all. The creatures made their way at me.

After Eevee and I were about finished with the small bits of food I got out for us. I began hearing noises from around the corner where I left those things. Argh.....now I'm calling things I see as Pokemon, that were once human..."things." What's wrong with me? They still ARE human on the inside, even if they aren't on the outside.....right? I'd rather not find out so quickly, but with with this place. I really don't know what to expect next.

I suddenly heard a voice from the around the corner calling for me, or so it sounded.

"Hey kid listen to me! In the room before this one, You probably came from there, exists a wall of faces. I happened to recognize your face from that very same wall! Why is that!? Who are all those people!? Do you know them!? How do i get out of this!?" the voice echoed.

I sat there for a good moment. Trying to think relax more than take in what to do about the others around the corner. Until it finally hit me.

A wall....of faces. Wait, so that was a face I saw on the wall! Did he say....it had MY face on it? What's going on here!?

"WAIT! Did you say the wall has MY face on it? Was it just 'MY' face or were there more?" I questioned the voice from around the corner while gathering my supplies and remaining food scraps along with Eevee's bowl.

After gathering all of my stuff I hear the voice yet again.

"uggh....Hey kid if i were you i would run! Lets hope we meet again!" the voice echoed once more before going silent.

I suddenly begin to feel something underneath me shaking. Eevee trying to keep her balance as the entire area shakes.

Just as it started, it stopped. Eevee and I begin making our way around the corner, except. The entire floor was missing.

"Great, now we have no way back. I guess we should just make our way around the corner and see if there was a doorway leadin back to that wall. I need to see this for myself. Maybe I'll even sketch it out to look back. Maybe there's some bigger meaning behind it." I thought aloud while looking back.

I lean down and let Eevee grab onto my shoulder as we both make way to the end of the room to find another doorway. Luckily there was one. We managed to walk down one pathway and another for a few more turns before we finally ended up at the wall mentioned.

"HERE!" I said aloud as I focus the flashlight on a wider area so I can see the wall more clearly.

"That man...he wasn't wrong. I can clearly see faces. Some I don't even recognize. Some are clear, others are faded or cracked here and there. Some are even Pokemon faces! What.....what does this mean!" I put my hand to my head, frustrated that I couldn't figure any of it out.

"I guess I'll just sketch down what I can see here. It's just....weird seeing my own face on that wall. Oddly enough I don't recognize that man's face anywhere, but I'll overlook that for now. Instead, let's go ahead and sketch it out." I say as I get my paper and pens set up. I make sure to set the flashlight up in a place so I can see at least most of the wall.

After some time of much silence. I sit here with Eevee curled up in my lap as I begin finishing the sketch of the wall.

"Aaaaaaand done! Alright. I'll put this up and maybe for a furute reference look back at it. Hopefully something like this will be of some use later on. It's odd though...some were human, others were Pokemon, but....I didn't see my face on there after making most of the sketch. What could that man have meant about seeing 'my face?'" I say as I gently place Eevee on the ground.

As I do, the entire area shakes once more and the flashlight falls over and goes out.

"NO!" I shouted as I try to get my bearings and grab the flashlight. As I finally make my way in the dark I feel something brush against my leg and then place something in my hand. Curiously, I grab it. It was my flashlight. I began hitting the flashlight in the palm of my hand to try and get it to turn back on. Luckily it worked. I quickly look as to what handed it to me and it was Eevee!

"I should've known it was you! Thanks girl!" I say as I brush through Eevee's fur once more. As I do, the ground shifts beneath us again. As it does I reach out to grab Eevee, but I miss. We both fall into the opening in the ground. The only thing I can think of is...at least we weren't separated. I don't know if I could ever lose another friend ever again.

Fox paused and put a hand to her chin. She thought it over a minute before her eyes widened as a thought occurred to her. She looked around then gently picked up the twig. She swam carefully just a little ways down shore from where Hemlock was. Fox placed Jonathan on the ground and said,

"You see this shattered pottery? It looks like a teapot right? That was me." Fox looked up to the sky and pointed. "I fell from somewhere up there and my body couldn't handle the fall, so I shattered and died. When I woke up, I was a mermaid at the bottom of the pond. And I can't get out. If I leave my body dehydrates quickly and the more fruits I've eaten around here the worse it is. I can't breathe air anymore." Fox sighed. "Hemlock, where his statue is where he fell. He was a teacup and he just reformed as a statue on top of the tea cup remains." She shook her head a little. "If I knew how long I had been here I'd tell you but it's always night in this area so I don't know."

Jonathan Bradshaw - Bellossom
???

I couldn't see a darn thing. I didn't even know if I was still in the same room, if Sonya was still with me, or if something had happened to her also.

"Hey, what's the big idea!?" I called out, unable to see anything.

"I've been watching you for a while, Jonathan. You're a cheater, and you're helping all the others cheat. And I really don't like cheaters."

"Newsflash, pal, we don't like being stuck down here for months!" I shouted into the darkness, wondering who or what I was even talking to. "What's the point of keeping us trapped in here, huh?"

"Oh, it's not a trap at all. It's a new world of wonder, surprise, and enchantment. When I first made it, it was empty, unexplored, and unappreciated. I wanted to populate it with those that wanted to go deeper and truly embrace the heart of my masterpiece. When you saw those stairs, you decided to descend deeper. If you didn't want that, Jonathan, all you had to do was turn around."

"I didn't know it would lead to this!" I shouted back into the darkness. "How was anyone supposed to know!?"

Okay, yeah, I made a stupid mistake back then. I thought it was a bonus area with extra prizes to be won. If someone told me this was going to be the result of going down there, I never would have done it.

"Jonathan, you cannot continue to undermine the whole purpose of the Trick World. Once you accept that this is your new home like many others already have, you will be at ease. But if you continue to dissect my Trick World like you have been doing, there will be dire consequences."

Yeah right, there was no way I was just going to sit here and just accept this loony zoo as my new home.

"La, la, la, I can't hear you!" I shouted to the darkness, mocking the Trick Master. "Do your worst, chump, I'm just getting started!"

Nothing to lose now...

Brian Evans - Currently: ???
Location: ???

"urrrggggghhhhhh.....where...am I?" I saw aloud as I try to get up and move around. Finding it harder than ever to even move a single muscle. Darkness surrounds me. I can't even see a single thing where I currently am. Again I try to move around, but to no avail.

"Alright Brain, think. Last I remember I was falling and....wait...where's Eevee? Eevee!" I call out to her. Hoping that maybe she was nearby and I just couldn't see her. Because it's way to dark for me to see anything here. Nothing. All I can hear right now is nothing. I can barely even make out my own voice.

"Ok, this is really weird. I can't move, I can barely hear anything, let alone my own voice, and it's pitch black in here. What's going on here?"

Suddenly though I can hear something. It was almost as if my hearing was getting better...or coming back to me. Rustling sounds of rubble fall to the ground as slowly things start to get a little brighter.

"-on't ry...I'll get you..t...no time!" I hear the faint sound of a female voice say."

Who could that be I wondered. Still my as sounds started getting louder and the light getting slightly brighter...I just couldn't for the life of me feel any part of my body. Whatever happened...it can't be good, but....at least I'm still alive, right?

Finally, a hole breaks open in the darkness. As if light finally broke through a wall of darkness. Piercing it light a blade of blinding light as it hit me.

"OK, just one more time! Brace yourself Brian! Haaaa!" the female shouts.

With one last blast, the darkness finally lifts and the blinding light fills around me. Finally, my vision....I could see again, though it's very hazy.

"Oh no, Brian! Is....is that really....you?"

"Y-yeah, of course it's me, but...how...how do you know my name? Just...how are you? You sound somehow...familiar." I question as my vision is still way too blurry to make out anything. I try to shake it off, suddenly, I see a figure get closer to me at about face level. A brown figure walking up to me on all fours. As it reaches me, my vision begins to clear, revealing....

"E-Eevee? You....I......I can understand you? What's...going on here?" I say in an almost panicked tone

"Oh Brian no! I...I never meant for this to happen! I'm so sorry!" Eevee says to me with tears beginning to brim from her eyes. I'll explain it to you since I knocked you out. I was just worried you'd get hurt by one of those Venonat that ended up following us and falling with us. So it tried attacking you while we were falling! I pushed you out of the way and...and!

She ends up leaning against me. Now, I could feel my body again. I felt somehow...different, but what happened. I begin to look myself over as Eevee leaned in on me sobbing.

Surely enough, the reason why I could now understand Eevee begin to make sense. I was much smaller now. I had grown fur, brown and tanish, my hands and feet had become paws, I had become what looked like a Pokemon.

"S-so Eevee? I'm...a Pokemon now?" I question her.

she looks up to me sniffling

"Yup, because I knocked you into something that flooded over you and that Venonat. You became a Furret! I'm so sorry Brian!" she said as again she leaned into me beginning to tear up again.

I sigh as I try to begin moving to get up, but I'm finding this to be a little more difficult than I thought. I get to four legs...err paws, but they won't stop shaking. I stumble back down onto my belly as I lose balance.

"Ugh, this is...gonna take some getting used to." I say as I chuckle

Sloane Jackson-Human
Beach-->Fountain Room

Sloane sat up and took inventory of all she had. Everything seemed to be in place. She scanned the beach to see what might be of present danger to her. Immediately, large pink flowers stuck out to her. Something nagged Sloane about them and it took her a minute to realize why. There was a strange pollen dripping from them. Sloane took the bandanna tied around her head and wrapped it around her nose and mouth. That might be a solution depending on how the pollen acted. Sloane continued her scan of the area and noticed a large patch of fungus far down the beach. She made a mental note to stay away from that. With two paths of escape not ideal, Sloane looked the other way. It appeared to be endless beach. Sloane didn't like the look of that either but it was what it was.

Sloane stood up and shouldered her bag. She made sure everything was in place and all her Pokemon returned before she trekked on. Sloane walked for what seemed like a long time without making any progress. It was like she was moving on a treadmill. Sloane grew frustrated but when she tried to turn around, she realized she couldn't. Sloane realized, to her horror, her body was stuck in this walking loop. Sloane began to look around for someone to help and noticed something in the distance towards the fungus patch. She about called out to them when suddenly she wasn't on the beach anymore. She was in a room with many fountains.

"Huh." Sloane looked around and took a step back but she was still in the fountain room. Had she just… glitched or something? Who knows with this place. Sloane sighed and began to walk through the room when suddenly the lighting went dark. Little known fact about Sloane, despite being a dark type specialist, the child was very much terrified of being alone in the dark. So having the light suddenly shut off in front of her eyes with no Pokemon here to comfort her only brought on the most understandable of reacts. Sloane let out an ear-splitting scream.

Fountain Room, Collapsing
Affected RPers: Noblejanobii

Apparently I pissed the Trick Master off. Pretty badly. In the dark, I suddenly heard an ear-splitting scream and for a moment, I thought that voiced sounded familiar. It wasn't Sonya, though.

The lights suddenly flickered, bathing the entire room in creepy, strobe-light flashes, almost like something out of a horror movie. I then realized who screamed. Sloane. Holy crap, she managed to meet up with us again!

"Sloane!" I called out to her. "Oh, hope you're alright. If you're wondering what's going on, it's-"

"The Trick Master caught on to Jonathan's plan," Sonya interrupted me, looking bewildered at the flickering lights. "He must have some kind of... god-like power down here."

"Not only that, but..."

I then noticed a piece of the room suddenly broke away and looked like it drifted into some kind of void in space. Then, another piece broke off, followed by another. In only a few seconds, another large chunk of the room broke off, taking the yellow fountain with it.

"Like this better, Jonathan? Well, do you!?"

"No..." I muttered, watching the room fall apart.

And as more chunks broke off and were sucked into oblivion, I didn't want to see what would happen if we just sat around and waited to get sucked into there as well.

"Let's get out of here!" I shouted to Sonya and Sloane, sliding toward the door as fast as these leaves could carry me without flopping over.

I ran for the door and grabbed it, seeing the Upside-down Pool Hall. Only now, it was crumbling into dust. Yeah, that was not going to work. I slammed it shut and reopened it to reveal the Candy Store, only this time it was now slathered in black, boiling ooze that was rapidly consuming the existence of the entire room. No, no, damn, this was not good. I tried one last time, only to find the Rainbow Slide, breaking down like broken glass and shattering into pieces.

"Oh great, we're screwed!" Sonya screamed, quickly noticing the whole Trick House was collapsing.

Meanwhile, the Fountain Room was still falling apart. I estimated that in only three minutes, we were going to run out of room to stand on.

"Thanks to you, Jonathan, I have to erase everything and start over. Let this be a lesson to the rest of you never to try something like this again! Oh, and Jonathan, I'll just have to make an example of you."

"No way!" I shouted. "You're not human! No human has this kind of power!"

But then the question was, what did?

Sloane's eyes burned when the lights began to flicker and her screamed died out as relief filled her for the light. Then a familiar voice called out to her and she spotted a Bellossom and Sunflora nearby. She frowned as the Bellossom addressed her by name, since she was sure they had not met before until the Sunflora referred to him as Jonathan. Then it dawned on her. The Cinccino plush! That means the Sunflora had to be Sonya. Before Sloane could address either however, the room began to break apart around Sloane.

Sloane dashed across the room to Jonathan and Sonya, freaking out at the Trick Master's voice echoed throughout the room. Jonathan seemed to have a plan but it all fell apart when all the rooms seemed to be resetting. Sloane could only imagine what was going on all throughout the house right now. She began to shake in a mixture of terror and anger, her lips pulling back from her teeth in a snarl.

"You leave us alone!" she snapped. "We've been subject to your games, your torture, and everything else! We just want to survive without too much pain but that's all that you want to bring! What is this to you? Is it some sort of game? Because it's sure as heck not a game to me! I'm literally starving myself right now to ensure that I stay the way I am for as long as possible because I don't want to possibly lose my human form forever! I've already lost one Pokemon today and I have no idea where she is! Do you care what our lives outside of this place might have been like? I have a boyfriend who is probably worried sick about me because I'm not answering his texts or calls because I can't get them here! These people have families and jobs and friends, people that will notice their absences! You're stripping people away for who knows how long because it's fun to you? If that's true, then you're just… just… just a monster inside a human shell!" Sloane breathes heavily as sweat beaded down her face and her hands curled into fists. She looked at the Bellossom.

"I got in here by walking through a space rift. The path to there is already gone but maybe we can find another one. Worse case, I've got a Noivern that can carry us for a while. Just tell me what the plan is quick, I'm done playing by the rules."

Dylan Thomas- Wind up Togetic->Wigglytuff Gijinka
Location: Apple Orchard

Dylan sighed as he felt his stomach growl. He had ignored it all day, but it was time to face the facts. Dylan and his team began to scan the trees for something that didn't look too bad to eat. It was then that Dylan spotted an interesting figure. A man was currently munching on berries and… floating in the air? He was wearing almost no clothes, save some baggy pants. He had blue hair and a red gem on his forehead. His eyes were traced with gold and the same gold decorated his chest in patterns. He had several bangles and bracelets on both arms, and even two on each ankle. The two anklets were connected by a red jewel. His left ear was pierced with a gold stud in it. His eyes were currently closed but when they opened just briefly, Dylan saw the gold theme continued, his irises being a matching gold. His skin was decently tanned, like he spent a lot of time in the sun. Yet, he was clean, as if he were from a wealthy family.

"Excuse me!" Dylan called out after his Gardevoir had wound up his key. "Is what you're eating safe to eat?" The man opened his eyes again and looked down at the berries in his hands. He paused in thought before nodding.

"Other than giving me this appearance, I would say so. But this is the first thing I've eaten since I arrived." The man held out one of the berries to Dylan. Dylan immediately munched down on the berries. A large cloud puffed up around Dylan and when it faded, Dylan was the closest to human he had been since he had arrived.

Dylan didn't really mind his new appearance. Dylan had on a white shirt with pink pants and pink shoes. His hair was short and Dylan was going to guess probably pink. His skin was also pink and white. The most amusing of it all was the long ears on top of his head that gave away what Pokemon he was, Wigglytuff.

"Oh, Wigglytuff. Interesting." The man finished off another berry then pulled out a knife from his belt. He carved into the berry tree "Makes you half human, half Pokemon." Dylan raised his eyebrows but before he could ask, the man answered, "I saw someone else doing something similar, figured I'd continue the trend. And no, I don't know what Pokemon I am. I'm guessing it's a psychic type though. My siblings call me Azlan. What's your name?" Dylan held out his hand to shake.

"Dylan. Nice to meet you, Azlan." Azlan took Dylan's hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you too."

Suddenly the ground began to shake and there was a loud crash from afar. Dylan stiffened when he heard a familiar scream and began to look around, but it was gone before he could pinpoint the source.

"Sloane," he whispered, "that's her scream. I knew that was her I saw earlier! Oh man! She's trapped in here too? Oh gosh! How long have I been stuck here? Long enough for her to come after me! Gah!"

"Um, Dylan, we've got bigger problems!" Dylan looked over to where Azlan was pointing. The land seemed to be… disintegrating? Dylan immediately realized he soon wouldn't be standing on anything and quickly returned all his Pokemon except Melody to their pokeballs. Stuffing all the pokeballs into his bag and securing it shut, Dylan strapped it tightly onto himself. He mounted Melody and looked at Azlan.

"You can fly right?"

"Float probably fits it better, but yes!"

"Then follow me!"

Melody and Azlan quickly shot off into the sky, flying straight upward. Dodging the falling debris from the floor above, the three burst into the food court. Azlan began to slow but sped back up when he realized Dylan hadn't slowed Melody.

"Melody! Use aura sphere on the ceiling!" Dylan commanded. The place seemed to be falling apart and he wasn't about to be trapped inside when that happened. Hopefully up was the way out, and he was about to find out. Melody released three rapid fire aura spheres at the ceiling, smoke erupting at Dylan waited to see what the end result was.

Jonathan Bradshaw - Bellossom
Fountain Room, Collapsing
Affected RPers: Noblejanobii

Somehow, Sloane got in here by a space rift. I wasn't sure how she pulled that off, but considering this place, heck, anything could have triggered it. When she suggested using her Noivern to carry us at least long enough to find some possible escape route. But at the current moment, I really didn't have a plan.

As pissed off as she was right now, the Trick Master really didn't seem to care. What she said was right though, this guy went from being eccentric to just being an all-out sadist. Still, that wasn't stopping the entire room from completely falling apart. Half of the room had collapsed into space and the other rooms were definitely no longer an option.

"We've got to do something!" Sonya screamed. "We can't even see this guy, and yet he's able to do all this!"

"Should have thought about that before you decided to be disobedient. There is no escape from here. Only subjection.

"You're a monster!" Sonya screamed. "Who sets a trap like this for unsuspecting Trainers, huh!? We never asked for this!"

But that didn't stop the room from collapsing. I could feel like my Bellossom body was starting to get sucked into the void and I really had nothing to hang onto. The other rooms weren't an option either, and they too seemed to be collapsing and falling apart in different ways.

"Just let us go home!" I shouted out, thinking this maniac was gaining nothing out of any of this. "We never wanted any trouble!"

And now there wasn't much left, and still no responses. And then, suddenly, there was only pitch blackness as the lights permanently went out. I couldn't see anything, but I could still feel the room shaking and I could still hear the crumbling of the room falling apart. I wasn't sure how much of the fountain room was left, but there was nothing we could do.

"No, please... NOO!!!" Sonya screamed.

I heard her voice being carried away, and I quickly sprang into action to try and save her, even though I couldn't see her. I tried to reach out for her voice, but in doing so, the piece of the floor I was standing on suddenly broke off and I was sucked into the darkness.

"Sonya, hang on!"

There was only one last solution to this...

"Whatever happens, it needs to be destroyed!" I shouted as my last words to Sloane and Sonya.

There was only a loud crunching noise and the noise of what sounded like a giant vacuum. And then there was nothing.

I almost didn't remember anything, as if everything I had just gone through was nothing more than some kind of dream.

My mind was scrambled, twisted, and disoriented, but then fragments of memories came back to me. Sonya. Sloane. The Trick House. I didn't remember how it all ended though, but there was that one last piece of memory.

It all has to be destroyed. However possible.

I tried to get to my knees, but when I saw my arms, I was definitely not the hula dancer flower Pokémon anymore. My hands... my arms, now human, but decaying, fetid, and horrendous. Parts of flesh had even fallen off while massive gashes and tears were all over my skin and clothing. What the hell had injured me so badly!?

And then I realized... these weren't just grave injuries. I was... undead. No, this couldn't be happening!

Nothing was working! Nothing was working! Sloane felt her chest seize up as the lights went up and suddenly her balance wasn't so stable. The whole room was falling apart but she couldn't see a thing!

Sloane heard Sonya and then Jonathan be carried away. Sloane backed up against the wall and pulled out her walking stick. She stabbed it into the wall and held onto it, refusing to let go. The sucking grew harder and harder, but Sloane grit her teeth. She wasn't going to give in! This place had to be destroyed! Then pain exploded in Sloane's left knee. There was a loud crack and Sloane cried out in pain. She recognized the feeling. It had been dislocated again. Then the wall took the opportunity to disintegrate. Sloane, still clutching her walking stick, fell into the darkness, whispering every prayer she had ever been taught.

Dylan Thomas- Wigglytuff Gijinka

"Keep going, Melody!" One after another the aura spheres collided with the ceiling. It crumbled away and after a bit, light seemed to come through.

"We might be getting somewhere!" Azlan said, floating next to Dylan. The boys exchanged high fives, but their celebration was too soon. The floor of the food court soon broke away and was replaced with a dark void, similar in structure to a black hole. Azlan was the first to feel the gravity. He began to try to float against it, but he was descending anyway. "Dylan! Help!" he cried out. Dylan reached down and grabbed hold of Azlan.

"I've got you!" he yelled, but then the walls and ceilings broke away too and the gravity increased to full magnitude. Melody let out a cry in pain and Dylan knew what he had to do. "Azlan, I'm going to return Melody to her pokeball. Whatever you do, don't let go of me." Azlan's eyes were filled with terror but he gave a confident nod. Dylan unclipped the only pokeball from his belt and returned Melody to her pokeball. Immediately both Azlan and Dylan were sucked into the ceiling.

The earth began to shake and rumble. Debris was raining down from the darkness above. Fox could feel the water level dropping in the lake. Something was sucking it all away!

"No! No! No!" Fox began to cough as water no longer coated her gills. She placed the twig back on the shore just in time to see Hemlock be crushed by a large piece of debris. "HEMLOCK!" Fox screamed. There was a loud crash above her. Fox looked up just in time to see her own fate look her in the eyes, as a large rock crushed the entire pond, with her in it.

Sloane Jackson- Injured Human
Medical Tent- Abandoned War Zone

Pain. It was all Sloane felt. It lingered in her every thought, memory, and nerve. It was currently clinging to every part of her body, but especially her knee. Oh it hurt so much!

"Ngh…" Sloane grunted and lifted her hand to her eye. She rubbed her eyes and started to open them, but it was too bright. "Ah! Too bright!" She flopped her hand over her eyes, then tensed when she heard a shuffling nearby.

"Oh, you're awake!" Sloane recognized the voice, but she couldn't place from where. "Here, hang on. I'm going to move your hand." Sloane felt her hand get removed from her face and was replaced with a moist cloth. "That should help some, if you want to open your eyes, but I wouldn't suggest moving too much yet. Your body is still recovering."

"Recovering?" Sloane replied in a hoarse voice as she cracked open her eyes.

"Yeah. Sorry, I found you a little while ago and brought you back here to treat you. Other than some cuts and bruises, there wasn't much to treat. But your left knee was swollen pretty badly. It was dislocated so I popped it back into place. I've wrapped it in a makeshift brace for now. Thankfully, you had a walking stick with you. Not the first time something like this has happened to you is it?"

"No. Several years ago I dislocated my knee. Fell out of a tree chasing a quilava," she explained.

"That's too bad. Well, it happens. I'm sorry I couldn't do more, but my medical studies aren't the best. Hopefully it's enough for you to forgive me for what happened earlier though."

"What do you mean?"

"Oh… you must not recognize my voice. And you definitely wouldn't recognize my appearance. Um… don't be mad… please… but uh... remember the giant Flygon guy that dropped you into a Hoopa ring? That was me."

Sloane hesitated to reply. That's why she had recognized this guy! This was Shiloh, if she memory served. But, he didn't seem proud of that fact. In fact, Shiloh sounded fairly apologetic and upset over what he had done. Sloane could tell he was trying to make up for his actions. But she couldn't blame him. Although she had been mad at the time, Sloane knew now that it was quite easy to succumb to the Trick House's madness. Shiloh had done just that. There was no fault in that.

"I don't blame you. Don't apologize," she replied. "You were just doing what you had to do to survive the Trick House. I get it. Don't blame yourself for something like that. Thank you for treating me though. I've got no human medical training so I'd have been done for without your help." Sloane lifted the cloth off her eyes a little. "So you can't be all bad if you did that for me." Her eyes adjusted and Sloane caught sight of Shiloh. He appeared somewhat human except for several features were not so.

Shiloh was dressed in Saudi Arabian attire, akin to that of a genie. In fact, that's probably what he was, or at least, the demonic form of it. He had large teeth, four in total, coming out of the top and bottom of his mouth. He had no legs, instead he had one singular brown tail. In addition, Shiloh only had one brown eye. His black hair was pulled back into a ponytail, but otherwise he was bald. His skin was tanned, like a natural born Middle eastern. He was wearing several golden bands on his arms and had on a brown cloak to cover his upper body.

"Say, Shiloh?" Shiloh glanced up at Sloane and gave a nod in acknowledgement. "Where's the boy that was with you? I think you said his name was Patty." That was obviously the wrong question ask. Immediately tears welled in Shiloh's eye and the poor boy let out a weak sob as he tried to keep himself from crying.

"I don't know," Shiloh mumbled out. "I've been searching for him since I woke up, but I can't find Patty anywhere! He could be hurt, dead, or who knows what!" Shiloh then dissolved into blubbering sobs. Sloane shifted, pain shooting through her body as she did. Ignoring it, Sloane moved over to Shiloh and rubbed his back, allowing the genie demon man to cry. She understood the feeling. Sloane felt the same about Dylan. She didn't know where he was, if he was okay, or if he was even alive. All the same questions Shiloh had for Patty.

"Hey, Shiloh, I understand. I've got a boyfriend too, and even though I don't think he's in the Trick House, I still have the same questions about him too. But he's obviously in a lot less crappy of a situation than us. But here, I'll strike you a deal. When I'm able to somewhat walk and stuff, we'll leave and search for Patty together. I'm sure he misses you as much as you miss him. Sound okay?" Shiloh sniffled but he gave me a smile in return.

"Sounds okay to me."

Dylan Thomas- Lotus Eater
Island of the Lotus Eaters

"Hey man! Come on! Snap out of it! We need to go!"

Why did we need to go? This place was nice. Dylan didn't ever want to leave. Here he could relax and enjoy himself without a worry in the world. Dylan just smiled and brushed Azlan's hand off him.

"No, I'll stay here. Come on, man. Have a flower. They taste wicked good."

"Since when do you say wicked!" Azlan slapped the flower out of Dylan's hand and shook the man. "Snap out of it! You've changed into a Lotus Eater! I, for whatever reason, didn't change at all, but that isn't relevant! We need to go!"

Dylan managed to remove himself from Azlan's grip and was wondering off again, much to Azlan's great annoyance. Azlan had all of Dylan's stuff, all the pokeballs, and everything. All of Dylan's Pokemon were fine, much to Azlan's relief. But Dylan… oh man. Azlan scanned the island. Since the reset, a bunch of people had gotten trapped here. Azlan had heard the myth of such a place and refused to eat anything, but Dylan hadn't been so lucky since he had actually turned into one of the inhabitants.

"Argh! What do I do? I gotta snap Dylan out of this! We need to get out of here!"

Fox Oleander-Egyptian Slave
The Great Pyramids

Fox heard a crack from behind her and saw one of her fellow slaves collapse to the ground. They hadn't kept up with the pace. Too bad. Fox didn't break pace as she poured more clay and mud into a mold then set it out for someone else. She wasn't sure how long she had been like this. Fox had woken up like this after all. But she had quickly realized the situation.

Fox was an Egyptian slave, dressed like it and probably her appearance matched it as well. In addition, Hemlock was nowhere around that she could tell. Her heart pretty much broke at that realization. She could only hope that the Roserade was okay and that they'd reunite soon. She'd kill if it meant getting Hemlock back. But right now, Fox couldn't risk it. Too many guards around and she was chained to a wall, she wouldn't make it five steps before she was dead. And since this place had just been reset, she didn't want to be the first to test the possible new properties of the place.

Jonathan Bradshaw - Zombie
Detention Block C, Raided Prison

I could do nothing like this. Even after I had gotten to what was left of my withered feet, I had to shamble to get around. Everything around me was dead, but somehow, as soon as I began to move, some of the other bodies had stirred. It seemed like something out of a nightmare, and truth be told, it was. It was all part of the sick system devised by the Trick Master. Regardless, the other bodies soon began to arise, forming a horde of flesh-craving undead.

I didn't know what happened to Sloane or Sonya. Maybe it was better they didn't see me like this. Wherever they were right now, I could only hope it wasn't nearly as bad as this.

And then, gunshots. A flash of fire down the hallway. The horde stirred, and they could tell someone living was down the cellblock hallway. As if on impulse, we were suddenly charged with a feral-like desire and hunger. We began to shamble our way toward the noise.

We saw them. An older bearded man wearing leather and a younger girl probably no older than thirteen wearing a tattered white dress. With them was a Flareon that had been trying to keep the zombie horde back with her fire attacks, but she looked like she had been at it for a while now. There was no telling how much longer she could keep up the fire before collapsing from exhaustion.

We just wanted to eat all of them...

Moans turned into voracious howls. I lost control of myself as the zombie horde charged toward the three of them trying only to survive and defend themselves from this nightmare. As we got closer, I could tell they were working purely off of adrenaline.

BANG!

The bearded man fired at the horde with his shotgun, and the slug ripped through the ranks of the undead one after another, burrowing holes and ripping out fetid limbs that had little to no purpose left to them. Two of the pack had collapsed, struggling to get back up again to join back in on the charge of dark hunger. I couldn't tell whether I was fortunate or unfortunate to have escaped from that shot. However, the unholy march continued as we raced down the hall to claim the flesh prizes at the end of it. It was as if absolutely nothing else mattered.

"Flareon, we need another Flamethrower on that pack!" the girl shouted in desperation. "Please!"

But the poor creature was already stripped of her energy, barely with enough adrenaline to keep moving. As the dark march drew us closer to the three, I could see in the creature's eyes that she was almost ready to give up and accept fate, however dark it would be.

BANG!

"Come on, damn it!" the man shouted.

Another slug ripped through the ranks. My left arm was ripped off when the slug tore through my shoulder, but even after no more than a second of recoil, I carried on, not caring about an injury that would have traumatized a normal human.

Using the last of her energy out of pure, selfless love for the survival of her owners, the Flareon unleashed what was probably the last Flamethrower she could possibly muster. Her open mouth spat forward a flaming torrent of consuming flames that enveloped and smothered the horde with flaming, biting fire that knew no mercy. All around me, I was suffocating as the flames caused every inch of my withered body to scream in a pain of hatred and agony. There was no air, and there was nothing to see. There was only fire, reducing us to nothing.

En masse, the horde fell. Some tried one hopeless last ditch effort to claim their prize while others flailed about frantically as the fire flushed out the last remainders of the life that shouldn't have been. The moans became howls, falling to the cold, concrete floor as the fire refused to stop even after the fiery purge had been complete.

I fell to my knees, screaming as the fire encircled my face and body. But I looked ahead, and saw the Flareon had collapsed from exhaustion, spending the last trickle of energy she had left to defend her owners. As I looked into the poor creature's tightly-shut eyes, only one thing came to my mind as the fire snuffed out the last seconds of undead life I had left...

...thank you.

Shiloh reached around Sloane as she laid back down and applied some ointment to her knee. Then he cleaned off his hands and handed her the bag she had been carrying.

"I believe this is yours," he commented, placing it beside her. Sloane sat up a little and nodded her thanks to Shiloh. She began to dig through it and found, with great relief, that everything was in order. She checked her pokégear and found the strangest thing. She had cell service.

"What the? How do I have cell service?" Shiloh's head snapped to attention and he scrambled to her side.

"Don't question it! Dial! Dial! DIAL!" Sloane didn't need to be told three times. She was already dialing the number for Officer Jenny. The phone rang three times before someone picked up.

"Hello?" a definitely not Officer Jenny voice said.

"Uh, yes, is this the Officer Jenny hotline?"

"Oh no it's not, sorry. This is the You thought you could escape me hotline!" There was a high pitched laughter on the other end. "You can only contact people within the Trick House. But be careful, it might have some bad consequences." Shiloh reacted before Sloane. He snatched the phone away from her and was sprayed with a pink liquid. Shiloh shrunk down into a black Pidgey with hands instead of wings. He ruffled his feathers and mumbled,

"Oh great." There was more laughing across the line then the call ended.

"Well it was worth a shot." Sloane began to scan through her phone. It did have a feature that said if someone was close by. If they were close maybe she could call them but be prepared for the possible consequence.

I thought getting burned to death as a zombie after wanting to devour a teenage girl was probably the worst kind of fate the Trick Master could have devised. It was cruel, evil, and it really showed how much of a heartless bastard this guy really was. Not to mention it put me in a position where I couldn't do much damage to this new, darker Trick House.

When I woke up, I wasn't sure where I was or if I was still a zombie, but I figured I probably wasn't. I saw what looked like a massive, wet and slimy purple blob in front of me, and I realized I must have been stuck in and on top of it, probably in some kind of trap. I tried to push my way out of it with my arms, only to realize my arms felt incredibly heavy and I could barely move them, plus they were covered and dripping with slime, which felt disgusting. I then tried to look for some kind of solution to whatever this mess was, only to find out my cheeks were inflated like balloons and felt like they weighed a ton each. What kind of trap was this? Meanwhile, all around me, it seemed to be some kind of factory that was mass-producing cakes, donuts, cinnamon buns, and other pastries that had to be a hundred times their normal size.

I then realized the horrible truth. I wasn't stuck or trapped in some kind of giant, sticky purple blob. I was the blob, and in trying to look around this pastry factory for an escape, after taking my best guess, I had somehow been reborn as a Goodra... one that had to have weighed well over a dozen million pounds...

"Youff godda be kiddin mee..." I bellowed to myself, barely able to speak with my enlarged tongue and puffy cheeks.

I tried to pat my absolutely oversized and monstrous belly with my arms to get an idea of exactly how much room I was taking up by feeling how much of my gut was between them. I felt like they were miles apart, and I couldn't believe this massive, slimy blob that was all over the place was all me. This was just total Pokémon cruelty to the max. And I felt it soon after. Ravaging hunger that could probably never be satisfied in a state like this. I tried not to look at all the pastries moving by the giant conveyor belts, although I wasn't even sure if I could reach them like this with this giant, flabby arms.

Well, you've certainly outdone yourself this time, Trick Master. This is just vile.

Again, it was another helpless form I couldn't use in any way to do damage to the Trick House and now, unlike the zombie, I wasn't even able to move and I felt disgusting on all levels. This was awful. If the Trick Master kept doing things like this, I was screwed for who knows how long. And I was already getting a bad idea of how he was going to torture me in this mess.

"Oh ho ho, hello there!" An overly-jolly and chubby pastry chef dressed in white with a stupid puffy chef's hat greeted me from a suspended catwalk platform. "You look so famished!"

This guy had to be blinder than a Zubat and dumber than a bag of hammers. What this Goodra needed was a hell of a weight loss plan and to fast hard for probably the next three thousand years. But the mind-controlling hunger and desire for those pastries was telling me who cared, I was already fat beyond hope and there was no sense in trying to reverse it at this point. If I was going to croak from gluttony, might as well enjoy it!

Damn it, I tried to put that voice out of my head and stop it from controlling me. It was hard, and the smells of those pastries were intoxicating. And my mouth was already salivating at just the smells of those things and could only wonder how delicious they probably tasted. Deep inside this massive Goodra body, my gigantic stomach was totally devoid of anything and was screaming to be stuffed.

It's a trap, don't eat anything!

"...Noo..." I lied to the fat pastry chef.

But, it wasn't like I could just stand up and walk out the door. I even tried, and my pudgy feet were hopelessly buried until this massive, slimy pile of myself. Forget it, I wasn't going anywhere. This situation provided even a lesser amount of hope than the prison zombie mess! How was I supposed to get out of this one!?

Just as Sloane's phone was starting to get a good search in, Sloane heard what was unmistakably gunfire in the distance. Shiloh's eyes widened and he poked me with his beak.

"We need to go! The battle must be returning to this area!" Sloane nodded. She pocketed her phone, picked up everything she could, shoved as much as she could in her bag, slung it over her shoulder, and then picked up Shiloh. Sloane peeked outside the tent and saw the fighting on the horizon. She decided it would be best to head in the opposite direction. This proved to be extremely difficult though, as walking through a desert with a lame leg is not the easiest thing in the world. Sloane glanced back over her shoulder again only to tumblr down a hill and crash into a whole new area.

Sloane looked around and suddenly found herself in what appeared to be a cave. She stood up and began to explore, but she had a bad feeling about this.

Azlan let out a loud sigh. "And you're sure?" Fei, Dylan's Gardevoir, nodded. Well, Dylan's Pokemon had decided. This was the only way to free him from the Lotus Eater curse. They would just have to hope they'd find him again later on in the trick house. Azlan pulled out a knife that had been on his belt. "Sorry, Dylan, this is for your own good." Azlan plunged the knife into Dylan's chest.

Dylan's consciousnesses spiraled through the darkness. On a table a little ways away from Jonathan, a large Wigglytuff spawned in front of him. "Ugh… what the?" Dylan's stomach growled loudly and he saw the pastries nearby. He licked his lips and smiled. "Oh ho ho! YES. Food! Glorious food!"

I really just wanted to die. Heck, this Goodra should have had a savage and fatal heart attack long before getting to this point, but then again, this was the place of the impossible. As much as I hated him, I underestimated the Trick Master. He was perfectly capable of finding ways to torture Trick House renegades and make them suffer like all hell for it.

"Juuss sttahhpp," I moaned to the pudgy pastry chef, barely able to speak in my struggled pleas for mercy.

"Oh, I'm sure you don't mean that!" he laughed in a jolly voice. "Here, take a whiff! I'm sure it'll change your mind right away!"

Just kill me already...

He pressed a few buttons on a remote control he had, and a robotic crane had grabbed a monstrously huge pink and white cake that would have even been too much for a celebrity wedding with five hundred people. The fat bastard then put it right up to my nose and I was forced to breathe it in because I couldn't move an inch away from it.

Sweet mother of Arceus, that thing smelled incredible. That warm, sugary and bakery-fresh smell was divine. My eyes were even watering for it in avid, hungering joy while my giant tongue was salivating like crazy for it and my stomach was getting horribly impatient. As if on impulse, I just opened my mouth and he was all too happy to slide it in. And like an idiot, I just ate the whole damn thing in one go. +200,000 calories right there. It would take three months of hardcore exercise to burn that thing off.

And it tasted even better than how it smelled. I sincerely thought the Trick Master would be forcing me to eat something disgusting like manure or puke, but then I realized if he did that, I wouldn't lose myself to this and I'd be always trying to aggressively fight it. But with this, good lord, he could keep me enticed as a shamefully enormous and disgustingly fat and happy Goodra until hell froze over, and he knew inside I would just be loathing myself for it and what I had become.

But even after swallowing that disgustingly giant cake, even after the half-digested mess landed in my stomach, it was nothing more than a single coin in a piggy bank that was the size of a mixing vat. Once I started that dark and disgusting train ride, it was going to be nearly impossible to stop. He then started the machine again, grabbing an even bigger cake this time, one smothered and dripping with fudge and chocolate sauce. I swore, this shouldn't have been possible. This was ridiculous, I had to do something or this was going to rapidly turn into one of the most disgusting experiences I could ever be put through.

And then there was a sudden distraction, which might have made the difference. Just barely within view of my eyesight, a large Wigglytuff suddenly materialized on a table. I didn't recognize the Wigglytuff, but then again, it could have been anyone. Sonya, Sloane, or some other lost soul that had been dragged into this mess.

"Oh ho ho!" The Wigglytuff smiled, licking his lips. "YES. Food! Glorious food!"

"Oh, help yourself, my friend!" the pudgy pastry chef encouraged the voracious Wigglytuff. "There's plenty for everyone, and we never run out!"

"...never run out!"

I could barely talk or warn him not to do it, but I had to, because right now, he might just be the only one that could potentially help me out of this, simply because as distracted as he was, he could at least still move around. But, if I didn't do something, he was going to stuff himself helpless on this crap.

"S-sstttooppp...!" I moaned out to the Wigglytuff as I tried to warn him as best as I could. "Duuhhnn't duuu iittt...!"

"Oh stop being silly!" the chef chortled, waving his finger. "Trust me, you'll love this one! I made it extra special for you!"

"H-hheellpp... muuhheee..." I moaned out to the Wigglytuff. "Puhhleeessseee...!"

And the bastard just stuffed the giant chocolate cake into my mouth to shut me up. When the thing landed on my tongue, the taste of it hit me like a brick wall. That was not normal chocolate, that had to be some kind of drugged concoction that made something taste way more enticing than it should have and it was only making me more addicted to these things. As it melted in my mouth with such rich, intoxicating chocolate flavor, I could only hope Wigglytuff snapped out of his trance, or else I was screwed.

"Oh, help yourself, my friend!" the pudgy pastry chef encouraged the voracious Wigglytuff. "There's plenty for everyone, and we never run out!"

Just the words Dylan wanted to hear. Dylan jumped off the table and began to devour some of the nearby cakes, pastries, etc. Baguette, gone. Cream puffs, down the hatch. Cupcakes, eat them all! Dylan didn't even hesitate when he heard the nearby Goodra protesting. He was obviously just made Dylan was getting all the good stuff now because he was too stuffed to move. Dylan looked back at the Goodra and pointed a Baguette at him.

"Look man, don't be whining just because you can't move. It's not my fault you ate so much. Just be glad with what you have and don't be so selfish." Dylan turned back around and proceeded to ignore Jonathan as he devoured more food than the average Wigglytuff should.

Dylan waddled over to a nearby cake conveyer belt not too far from the one by Jonathan. Dylan began to eat all the cakes on the belt in one gulp each, only pausing to lick himself clean of any frosting. Dylan was almost at the end of the conveyer belt when he encountered a three layer vanilla cake. It was coated in white frosting except for the edges, which had a nice wave patterns on them in rainbow icing. Dylan paused and knit his brows together, this cake triggering a memory. It took a moment for Dylan to place it, but his eyes widened as he did.

"This was the birthday cake I got for Sloane last year," Dylan said, loud enough for Jonathan to hear. Dylan clapped his hands against the sides of his head. "Oh my Arceus! What am I doing?" Dylan shook his head in frustration, the trance wearing off as Dylan's focus narrowed to his girlfriend.

I looked back at the Wigglytuff, pointing a baguette at me, and just the look on his face made it clear I wasn't getting through to him.

"Look man, don't be whining just because you can't move," He told me. "It's not my fault you ate so much. Just be glad with what you have and don't be so selfish."

Well, there went that hope out the window. As I watched him just devour nearly everything in sight, I gave up and figured might as well let the guy stuff himself. I could barely even have half a conversation with him. If I couldn't move, there was definitely no escape out of this place or out of this abysmal mess. At this point, my only hope was this crap would kill me some other way, but if the Trick Master knew how bloody humiliated and ashamed I was right now, forget it, he'd make sure I'd stay this way.

While the Wigglytuff let himself go, the pudgy chef was all too happy to drop a conveyor belt aimed at my mouth and set the thing to "auto-stuff" because unlike the Wigglytuff, I couldn't exactly grab anything to eat on my own. Heck, I had probably lost that ability ages ago. So, instead, they just had everything stuffed into my face directly. How generous. The pudgy pastry chef then just left, letting the machines take care of everything for him.

I had a massive cinnamon bun smothered with icing get sent down into my mouth, followed by a giant cream donut, which was then followed up by a massive strawberry shortcake. It was an instant party in my mouth, and just like that in that short timespan, I had probably eaten more than what most people eat in two decades. It was divine and diabolic at the same time. The taste of each of them was incredible, but the gluttony involved was horrendous and disgusting. But as each intoxicating pastry got stuffed into my mouth, the shame and guilt of it all simply became irrelevant. My tastebuds were driven into uncontrollable ecstasy and as one colossal pastry after another tumbled into my massive stomach, nothing else really mattered.

Maybe I'll die from severe indigestion or... whatever.

And that was the end of the protest. As a giant chocolate-chip cookie cheesecake met its fate in my eagerly waiting mouth, I didn't give the slightest of damns at that point. The food was delicious, I was already one hell of a fat bastard Goodra, and I wasn't going anywhere soon anyway.

"This was the birthday cake I got for Sloane last year," I faintly heard the Wigglytuff mutter. "Om my Arceus! What am I doing?"

Sloane. Holy crap, that couldn't have been a coincidence. It had to be the same Sloane I met just before everything went to hell.

Despite the fact an obnoxiously-gigantic cupcake got stuffed into my mouth, I tried to snap out of it and look back toward the Wigglytuff. He had already eaten quite a lot like a maniac, but there was something about the wave-patterned cake with the rainbow icing that somehow made him snap out of it.

"Ssllooanne..." I tried to call out to the Wigglytuff, despite having a mouth full of cheesecake and cupcake crap. "Ssheee's heeree. Aii sshaaw 'eerr."

I barely managed to get those words out before a god-forsaken éclair bigger than a damn school bus was forced into my mouth and I was immediately silenced when my mouth got stuffed. I had to keep talking to that Wigglytuff. I decided to stop resisting the food intake and instead, chew and swallow it as soon as possible so I could empty out my mouth and try to talk to him. After swallowing down a ice cream cookie sandwich, I emptied out my mouth and still had a few seconds before the next damn dessert came rolling down from the moving conveyor belt.

"Nahame'ss Joahnatthaan," I bellowed to the Wigglytuff as fast as I possibly could despite the difficulty. "Aourr ahonnly ehsscaapee ehs... weh goottaa... dihe."

I could only hope he could understand what I was saying. As another damn jelly donut got pushed into my mouth, I swallowed the damn thing whole as quickly as I could.

"Kaillee meh ffurrst," I pleased with the Wigglytuff. "Yussh deh cahrane... Pahleesse...!"

Sloane. She's here. I saw her. Name's Jonathan. Our only escape is we gotta die. Kill me first, use the crane. Please!

I could only hope this guy got the message. If he could operate the crane controls, he could drive the boom head and the upper sheave into my skull and kill me that way. The Trick Master would have no choice, I would have to respawn as something else. There was no way I could control the crane myself and sitting here and waiting until I got stuffed with another twenty million pounds of desserts was definitely not a good option either.

Sloane squinted her eyes, spotting a little light at the far end of the cave. She began to creep towards it, and as she progressed, the sounds of the war in the desert faded away, replaced by the sounds of a bustling city. Sloane and Shiloh exchanged confused looks before approaching the exit. Sloane shielded her eyes as light flooded her vision. The sight before her was nothing she could have expected.

In the valley before Sloane stood a large city filled with tall buildings, temples, and other massive structures that were ancient in style. Not to mention it was filled with people! Not the Trick House's creatures but humans! It could be a trap but did she or Shiloh have much of a choice?

"I say we at least explore the place," Shiloh said, as if reading Sloane's thoughts. Sloane nodded and began to scale (with much difficulty) down the hillside to the city below. As soon as they walked in, the people inside the city immediately took notice to the two strangers. A nearby woman zoomed to their sides and cheered.

"Oh good! More pilgrims have arrived to the safe haven!" A couple guys nearby high fived and a few other people momentarily celebrated or smiled before returning to their work. The strange woman smiled at Sloane and Shiloh. "Welcome to Athens. It seems this place formed after the Trick House reset and it's a safe haven to all the occupants. If you'll look over there, just standing under the mist will return you to the state you entered the Trick House in. None of the food, water, or anything in this place changes your form! It's truly wonderful! We've already set up a few rules and stuff in the short time so you'll have to abide them but it isn't too many right now. I suggest getting cleaned up in the mist and then heading to the Welcome Center in the center of the city where you can be properly introduced."

"Okay, thank you so much, Miss…"

"Miss Samantha." With that Samantha left. Sloane didn't like this, not one bit, but before she could stop him, Shiloh jumped out of her arms and ran for the mist showers.

"Shiloh!" Sloane called after him.

"I don't care if it's a trap! I'm not staying like this!" Shiloh ducked into the mist. I saw his shadow grow and when he stepped out again, he looked like a much less grotesque version of his djinn form. He was still taller than me, 5'11 if I had to guess. His long black hair was pulled into a high ponytail and he had dark, rich earthy colored skin. His eyes were brown with flakes of gold in them. He was wearing a plain white shirt and some blue jeans with some black tennis shoes. He also had on a golden chain necklace with a little cactus charm on it. He also had on a Pokemon belt with three pokeballs clipped on and a black bag at his feet. Shiloh looked down over himself.

"Oh man, this feels nice!" Shiloh then registered his belt. "My Pokemon! My bag! I lost these when I first transformed!" Shiloh took all three pokeballs off his belt and threw them into the air. Out appeared a Flygon, an Ariados, and… a Hoopa?

"You have a Hoopa?" Shiloh nodded and hugged all three.

"Yeah, these are my three traveling partners. The Flygon is Spirit, he was my first Pokemon. The Ariados is Iktomi, he was a gift from Patty. The Hoopa is Djinn, I got gifted his bottle and the next day he just showed up one day." Shiloh glanced down at his bag and opened it up. "Yeah the Prison Bottle is still in here. I can change Hoopa to his unbound form if that's necessary. Good… good. Oh man, I'm glad everyone's okay. I was so worried."

Sloane turned away from Shiloh and his Pokemon and stared at the mist showers. This thing had fixed Shiloh, maybe it would mend her leg and even bring back Odessa. Was that even possible? But it could easily be a trap. Her thoughts traveled to Jonathan. He would no doubt be suspicious of this, for sure. But the offer was no doubt very tempting. Before Sloane could decide, however, she suddenly found herself being pushed by Shiloh into the mist shower. Sloane passed through but when she stepped back out, her leg was as good as it had been when she came into the Trick House and there was one more pokeball on her belt than there had been since the food court incident. Sloane immediately sent it out and a Mawile formed in front of her.

"Odessa?"

"Mawile?"

"Odessa!" Sloane and Odessa hugged and Sloane sniffled a little bit. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I lost you. I'm so glad you're okay. I promise I won't lose you again." Shiloh pat Sloane on the back and snorted.

"You're so sappy. It's not like she's your boyfriend or anythi-"

"Shiloh?" Shiloh looked up when his name was called and his eyes widened.

"Patty?" Sloane looked up to see a Latino standing nearby. He was about 5'8, short cut black hair with skin slightly darker than Sloane's. He was a bit plump but otherwise athletic looking. He was wearing a black t-shirt with blue jeans and white sneakers. On his shoulder was a vulpix and on his head was a Zubat.

"Shiloh! You're okay!" Sloane smirked in amusement as Shiloh nearly tackled Patty to the ground. Shiloh held Patty in a tight bear hug and kissed Patty's cheek.

"Oh man, Patty I was so worried. I lost you after the reset and I couldn't find you anywhere. I was afraid I'd never find you again."

"Who's sappy now?" Sloane called out.

"Shut up!" Shiloh said back, tears glistening in his eyes. "Go head onto the Welcome Center. I'll meet you there in a little bit." Sloane didn't need any further instruction. She stood up and began to walk with Odessa through the ornate streets of the city towards the Welcome Center.

Whoever this guy was, he was kind enough to push the conveyor away so this stupid thing wouldn't keep stuffing me to oblivion. Not to mention it allowed me to talk again, which was important if I wanted to work some kind of plan with him.

His problem wasn't too much better. He needed a way to kill himself as well, and for all we knew, this place probably didn't have lots of nooses hanging around just for the occasion. If he stayed here, the same thing that happened to me would probably happen to him.

Last I saw her, we were in some fountain room. She was okay before the room fell apart, but I don't know what happened to her after that.

But, as we both knew, she could be anywhere, and my whole plan of mapping things out so people could find each other and break their way out of here had resulted in the Trick Master warping everything around to the dark side. Meanwhile, this guy was still stuck in here, so even if he killed me with the crane, I didn't exactly see a whole lot of ways he could kill himself after the fact. Not unless he wanted to die slowly and painfully in the bakery ovens or get chopped to bits in a bloody mess in one of the machines. If he jumped off the catwalk, that would probably only break his legs and not be enough of a fatal fall. Not to mention his rotund Wigglytuff body might not be as affected by the drop compared to what it would do to a human.

An idea came to me, but it was a horrible one. It would cause a ton of damage to this place and it would kill both of us, but it was the morbid process of it that had me anxious. But, from the little I could look around, there really wasn't another way out of this.

The only way for us both to die was if he stuffed the conveyor belt to my mouth again, turned the dial to max speed, and jump right on it. I'd swallow him along with the other desserts, stuff myself with as many desserts as possible in the shortest amount of time, and I'd probably get so huge that I'd explode and cause all kinds of massive collateral damage to this place. It would both kill both of us and utterly destroy the place and ruin everything inside it, but just the very thought of it was morbid. If I wanted to destroy as much of the Trick House as possible, I had to get creative. This whole place had to be destroyed at all costs... even if it involved something like this.

I had to explain the whole idea to him slowly and carefully, and it wasn't easy with these stuffed cheeks, huge tongue, and this bellowing Goodra voice. As much as disliked the idea, the aftermath would ensure they couldn't do this to anyone else. But if we went through with this, I wasn't sure who was going to have it worse. Him getting buried in my stomach under a mountain of desserts until he was crushed against the stomach wall or me getting so painfully inflated to the point where my body couldn't stretch out any further and exploded because of it. As much as the idea of turning myself into a giant bomb was disturbing, it would definitely be the end of this place. Otherwise, we would be stuck here forever in these sorry states. If I wanted to put an end to this horrible place, I had to use whatever weapon I could, even if it meant turning myself into one.

My hope was it was quick for both our sake. And if we met up again, I was seriously hoping we wouldn't mention this to anyone.

Dylan's expression became a bit relieved looking as he made out that last Jonathan had saw her, she was okay. He wasn't sure how long ago that had been, but it had been recent and that was a good thing. Dylan just hoped he could see her again soon.

"Thank you for telling me that. It takes a load off my mind, somewhat at least. Hopefully we can get out of here and I'll be able to find her soon. No doubt she's probably worried about me too, whether she realizes I'm here or not. Now what's the plan?"

Dylan's face paled and he made a disturbed expression as Jonathan laid out the idea. He was about to protest, but he knew this was really the only way to do this since Wigglytuff were pretty much indestructible creatures. Still, there wasn't any other way? Dylan looked to the side and caught sight of the cake that had snapped him from his trance. He sighed. No, he'd have to do this. For Sloane. He just hoped it'd be quick.

"It's… not ideal… especially if I understood you correctly. But… I don't see any other way that I could die in this place that would take us both out or that I wouldn't chicken out of. So… I'll set it up." Dylan moved the conveyor belt back to Jonathan's mouth then walked over to the controls. He turned the dial up to high speed. Dylan then walked over to the ladder than led up the conveyor belt and grimaced. "Oh Arceus, I don't know if I can do this." Dylan forced himself up the ladder and onto the conveyor belt. He squeezed his eyes shut and curled into a ball, not wanting to see anything that was coming.

After I learned the Wigglytuff's name was Dylan during the conversation, he had reluctantly agreed with the plan, although neither of us were looking forward to it. My whole idea was to just go through with it, shut my eyes, and hope it was quick and made it very clear to the Trick Master that this disgusting punishment was going to backfire horribly.

With the conveyor belt back in place and the dial cranked up to as high as it could go, I just shut my eyes, opened my enormous mouth, and allowed the machine to do its job. As one massive dessert after another was forcefully rammed into my mouth, I wasn't sure when Dylan had jumped on to be swallowed, but after several minutes of rapid-fire feeding had passed, I was sure by now he was dumped somewhere deep in my stomach.

The machine was filling me up fast, but not fast enough. Still, I kept my eyes shut as my stomach swelled further and further. After a few minutes of a chaotic feeding frenzy, my body was becoming too big to be contained by the factory, and in the process, was destroying large pieces of equipment and knocking over machines, shelves of desserts, and making an absolute ruin of the entire factory. It was clear they hadn't expected me to do this, and as a large portion of the factory was being utterly destroyed by the chaotic girth, I had a better feeling about the kind of damage this was going to do.

And then it got to the point where it started to hurt, but I tried to fight the pain and just bear it. My already ballooned stomach was now telling me it had more than enough, but no, I wanted this to end and I was already sick of being like this. I felt a sharp, sudden sting of pain when I felt my stomach had suddenly ruptured and burst open, now spilling everything into the rest of my innards. After more minutes of savage, furious, and suicidal feeding, my skin was expanding like an over-inflated balloon. It was then that the pudgy pastry chef from before had returned and realized what was going on. I heard him shouting, but... it was really going to suck to be him in a few seconds...

The pain suddenly spiked, escalated to an almost violently unbearable level, and then...

...it just stopped.

Blackness. Getting killed like that must have been instantly fatal so much so that I didn't even hear the explosion or see the aftermath of it, not like I really wanted to. It was beyond disgusting to the Nth degree, but at least it was over.

Jonathan Bradshaw - Human
Abandoned City

I had a feeling the Trick Master had not counted on us doing that. Also, the fact I had woken up as my normal human self indicated whatever was in charge of respawning people in this hellhole wasn't ready and didn't have something crappy lined up for me to become. So, as it turned out, suicide was a viable option for wanting to get out of one form to another.

I had woken up in the middle of an empty tarmac street, but almost instantly, I heard rumbling, like there was an earthquake. It was faint for a minute, but then it got louder and I suddenly looked up and saw huge, modern-day buildings suddenly collapsing. What the hell was this now...?

I got back up on my feet, not sure if this was another trap and I should start running before this whole place fell apart also. Still, something didn't make sense. Why would the Trick Master set this all up just to destroy it again?

In the meantime, there was no sign of Dylan. Well, hopefully he was in a better spot now. I wasn't sure what happened to Sloane and Sonya either, but I seriously was praying none of them had to go through what Dylan and I had to do.

And then I realized the area where the buildings were collapsing was isolated. It almost made me wonder... was that happening because of the Goodra explosion I had caused? And then, something else happened. What I saw then was some kind of violent disruption, where suddenly major rifts were being ripped open where the damage was occurring, followed by jagged, violet and black thunder and electrical discharge. The sky and space around the damage was becoming chaotic and warped, and I knew that sure wasn't normal.

I then realized the Trick Master truly thought I would have been stuck in that horrible Goodra state forever and wouldn't go to such a brutal extent to get out of it. As a result, the damage, my new transformation, and the "glitch" in his system was caused a major disruption and was ripped a nice chunk of his world apart. It was almost like... I had inflicted a severe wound in his world.

<Can you hear me!? Can you hear me now!?>

The soft and gentle voice speaking in my head was frantic and anxious. That, and it felt like... telepathy. What pray tell could possibly be trying to contact me? Problem was, I wasn't psychic, so I could hear them, but I had my doubts they could hear me.

"Yeah... who are you and what's going on?" I muttered, wondering if I was just talking to myself while this mayhem was going on.

<Jonathan, I am Jirachi. I don't know for how long I can reach you, but I need to explain this quickly. This was all a mistake. This side of the Trick House is the result of a wish made by the Trick Master to create his own dream world puzzle and be the master of it.>

"Oh hell..." I muttered.

<He lied to me regarding his intentions. He told me it was supposed to be a hidden world of wonder and imagination that would be inviting for others to discover and explore. He told me it was supposed to be like the rest of the Trick House, nothing more than an elaborate puzzle for explorers to solve but with an enhanced and imaginative design to take his Trick House to the next level. Initially, I saw nothing wrong with it and I granted his wish as long as he didn't let it expand outside of his Trick House. But shortly after, I never thought he would leave so many cruel and heartless traps. In the meantime, he made it nearly impossible to find the exit.>

But there was an actual exit? Well, that sure was one of the best leads I had gotten in a damn long while.

"Where is it?" I asked Jirachi. "We've got to get everyone out of this hellhole!"

<You're not going to want to do it his intended way. It's an extremely complex puzzle that would take quite possibly millions of years to piece together and nearly endless miles of traveling from one location to the next. This dark and consuming obsession he has to create the most difficult and perplexing puzzle of all time has escalated into something vile and evil that shouldn't have ever existed. No, I need you and the others to destroy this dark and evil thing he has created. I can't break his wish after having granted it, but that doesn't mean it can't be broken by someone else.>

And that sounded like we had our work cut out for us.

Dylan Thomas and Fox Oleander- Human and Mermaid
Beachside

"Come on, Dylan! I did not just fish you out of the ocean for you to die again!" Fox leaned down and forced another breath into Dylan before counting out the chest compressions again. After one more session of breath and chest compressions, Dylan sputtered and spit up ocean water to his side. He coughed hard and rubbed his head.

"Oh man, well I'm never eating desserts ever again. Or going near a Goodra." Dylan shivered and looked over at the Mermaid next to him. It took him a second to recognize the young woman. "Fox?"

"Don't. Say. It," she growled out. Dylan raised his hands in surrender as he glanced over Fox. He could see why this would be a truly cruel form to Fox. The woman hated girly things like fairies and mermaids. "You just fell into the ocean over there. I reached you and revived you with CPR. You're welcome, by the way. What even happened to you anyway? Were you involved in the explosion over yonder?" Fox gestured to what appeared to be an abandoned city in the distance. He saw what appeared to be damage to several buildings, one more so than the others, as well as strange rift looking things.

"It's possible… I was involved in an explosion but I'm not sure if it's that particular one. Was there a lot of goo?" Fox just shrugged. Dylan sighed a little then looked back at the city. He wondered where Jonathan had landed. Hopefully the man was safe, wherever he was. He had been helpful, probably more so than he realized, by telling Dylan that Sloane was here and okay last Jonathan had seen her. Now Dylan knew what his quest here was. That's when it clicked that this was Fox next to him. Dylan's head snapped back to Fox.

"What?" she asked with a irritated tone to her voice.

"Fox! It's you! I was sent here to find you!" Fox's eyes widened at Dylan's words. "I was supposed to come here, find you, then get you out! Well, I've done two of those things but now…"

"There's the whole getting out thing. But I'm assuming that's not what you're referring to." Dylan shook his head. His thoughts wandered to Azlan and Jonathan, as well as his Pokemon still somewhere in here. Most importantly, Sloane was inside this place too. He couldn't just abandon them.

"No… my Pokemon are still out there, and so are two good friends I've met along the way. Plus…" Dylan looked at Fox and said in a low voice, "Sloane's in here too. Someone saw her. I can't just leave without her." Fox placed a hand on Dylan's shoulder in understanding.

"I know, I got it. Hemlock's still out there too. We should work together to find them. Maybe then we can come up with a plan of action to get them out."

"Yeah but… how are you supposed to move?" Fox glanced at her tail.

"How much can you lift?"

"I can carry Sloane if that's a valid measurement."

"Then you should be able to carry me. Come on!"

And so, Dylan and Fox began to travel across the beachside, Dylan carrying Fox as they ventured towards the abandoned city.

So now I knew the truth about this place. Somehow, the Trick Master encountered Jirachi, a wish-granter, and this was the result. Now the Trick Master could play god with people in his basement, and no one outside of the Trick House even knew what was transpiring here.

"Here's an idea," I told Jirachi. "Just grant my wish of undoing this stupid place!"

<I can't. You would need to write on one of my wish tags, and in order for that to happen, I would need to meet with you personally. If I do that within the Trick House, the Trick Master will realize I am trying to work against him, and he has the power to stop it.>

Again, that psychotic prick was the source of everyone's problems.

Meanwhile, I looked up at the distortion wound or "glitch," whatever the hell that thing was. It was pretty brutal, and it seemed that unlike before, the damage was permanent. Something else seemed strange that brought me to another question.

"Isn't he just going to change everything up again like he did last time?" I asked Jirachi. "I tried to figure this nuthouse out the first time, and he just flipped out and made this place even worse."

<He had to resort to a backup version, an initially rejected draft variant of the Trick House "wonderland" he wanted to create. This isn't even complete and there are voids and gaps that have yet to be filled. Some were hastily filled with fragments of his anger, rage, and frustration when he destroyed the first variant to make the switch, but there were many parts that were left unfinished, and as a result, it isn't entirely stable. And unlike before, if something is destroyed here, the incompleteness of this rendition causes much greater damage, as... what happened when you caused that Goodra explosion. In his haste and anger to undo the mapping work you had done in the original variant, he didn't realize this. I knew what would happen after delving into his mind, but I kept it to myself. Especially after he essentially made me his prisoner.>

Well, that was still good to know. If we ripped this whole place apart, he would have nothing left to use and this place would be broken. From the sound of it, he could still create another, but it wasn't something that was done instantly. He could only erase it instantly, but not create a new variant immediately.

<You don't have much time. As we speak, he is working frantically to lay out the plans for a third rendition while trying to keep this one together. It is one of the main reasons you were able to return to being a human. The Trick Master was distracted and did not anticipate you being able to cause such significant damage in that Goodra state.>

"Still, is there anything you can do to help me?" I asked Jirachi. "My Pokémon are gone and I have no weapons at the moment."

<I can help guide you toward resources and devices that exist in this incomplete rendition that could be used against it. There is a risk, however...>

Great, couldn't wait to hear this one.

"And what's that?" I asked, preparing for all hell to break loose.

<The Trick Master's second wish was for me to be his forever, which was normally an impossible wish until he made it possible with his first one creating his own dreamworld with his own rules. The only reason why he hasn't intercepted this conversation is because he can't tap into the telepathy. He can barely hear you if he were even paying attention to you right now, and for all he knows, you're simply muttering to yourself and suffering from schizophrenia. It wouldn't be the first time someone has descended into madness in this place. But, thanks to the explosion you created and the disruption it caused, you've gone off his radar. For now, at least.>

"So what's going to happen to you?" I whispered back to Jirachi, trying to make it even less likely for the Trick Master to hear me.

<There is still the third and final wish I can make before... I ultimately lose my power forever. Because the Trick Master made it impossible for me to go to sleep again, it will be the last wish I can ever make. I... need someone to use up that last wish before he does. He is unstable, and he has made it clear he doesn't want to use the third wish unless the situation becomes truly dire. I have delved into his mind, he wants to save it for something truly overwhelming if he can. While doing more damage to the Trick House is the goal, I fear he still has one last resort even if we are successful.>

I sincerely hated the idea of him pulling off one last act of bullcrap to save his stupid dreamworld garbage.

"Here's the plan," I whispered as softly as I could for Jirachi, knowing I definitely didn't want that maggot to hear this, "when this place is falling apart, come to me and I'll use up that third wish. He won't have power to stop you from coming to me if this place is collapsing."

<It's perfect. But... I have a feeling that when this place collapses, it will be the end of me. That second wish... it was only possible because of his first wish, but when that wish becomes broken and the promise can no longer be kept, it will destroy me in the process.>

What the hell. Great, this just kept getting better and better. Still, regardless of the kind of cost this would result in, it still seemed like Jirachi wanted to go through with it. Meanwhile, I had no damn idea what I wanted to do with that third wish. The only stuff that came to mind all sounded like crap that could backfire in my face, but then again, I still had time to think about it.

As I got up to start on the campaign to rip this place apart even further, I couldn't help but feel like I wasn't alone...

I was going to need Jirachi's directions on this one. This place seemed pretty devoid of any Pokémon or weaponry, and I didn't exactly have much to use as a human without any kind of tools. In any case, I was sincerely hoping I wouldn't have to go through anything nearly as bad as that Goodra incident. I still hadn't gotten over what I had to go through for that.

"Good sir!" a voice suddenly called out behind me. "You seem to be a in a bit of confusion! Say you, how is your mental state? Need I try and treat you with my aromatherapy or point you to a nearby landmark?"

I quickly turned to see what looked like a half-human, half-Roserade standing three feet from the ground before me. Strange, I thought I was the only one around here, but apparently there were still a few others. In the meantime, he seemed totally unfazed that a whole bunch of buildings had completely collapsed not too far off from here. That seemed unusual.

I wasn't sure I could trust this guy, though. While Sonya helped me out, Tom betrayed me and that's what ended up causing the whole Trick House to undergo the more chaotic change. I wasn't about to pass judgment on this guy, but I wasn't exactly going to let my guard down either.

"I'm actually fine," I replied, wondering if he heard my muttering and was thinking I was nuts. "A little disoriented, but I think I'll find my way around. Say, what's your name anyway? How long have you been stuck down here?"

By now, I knew what to look for to tell if someone was lying. In the meantime, judging from the way this Roserade talked, it seemed like he had been like this for a while and was willing to accept his current fate permanently.

Meanwhile, I decided not to mention anything about Jirachi. I knew I could trust Sloane and Sonya with that if he happened to run into them again, but I wasn't about to spill the secrets to complete strangers I hadn't met before...

"My mistress called me Hemlock, and as it is the only name I have ever been given, it is the one I go by. I worry for her safety now though, as we were separated when the Trick House seemed to break apart. As for how long I have been here… I cannot truly say. The area that I was in prior to this was in a constant state of night, so it was nearly impossible for us to tell how much time had passed. On top of this, I was in the form of a statue, so my consciousness tended to come and go as it pleased due to my body no longer responding any of my thoughts. My mistress would probably be able to give you a better estimation than I, but if I had to make a guess, I would say a few months." Hemlock looked either way around the city and sighed. "Mistress, please be safe until I return to your side," he added in a whisper.

"And what about you, good sir? Have you a name? And how long as the horrors of the Trick House plagued you? Just by observing your actions now and comparing them to others I have witnessed, I would say not very long. But I am still adjusting to this new form, so the margin of error is quite large in this case."

The Roserade told me his name was Hemlock, and it sounded like he had been through his own unique flavor of hell while he had been here. He told me he had been stranded somewhere with no daylight, and before that, he had been stuck as some kind of statue. A lot of it reminded me of what Sonya had gone through. The sock puppet ordeal, in addition to the all the weird things she had been transformed into in the food court, were just a fraction of the freakouts this place was capable of unleashing.

He also mentioned something about his "Mistress." I wasn't sure who that was, but it could have been anyone for all I knew.

"And what about you, good sir?" Hemlock asked me. "Have you a name? And how long as the horrors of the Trick House plagued you? Just by observing your actions now and comparing them to others I have witnessed, I would say not very long. But I am still adjusting to this new form, so the margin of error is quite large in this case."

"Name's Jonathan," I told Hemlock, figuring even though the Trick Master knew that name, I was convinced he wasn't working through Hemlock here. "And I've been stuck here for about a month also. I've gotten caught in a few crappy transformations, but the last one... I managed to use it to cause some disruption, and it seems like the Trick House couldn't compensate for it, and I managed to become human again."

Now, the big question. Could I trust this guy enough with what Jirachi told me? Sure, me getting ambushed and blind-sided again was bad, but it wouldn't be nearly as bad if the Trick Master found out I had been contacted by Jirachi and figuring out Jirachi was trying to work against him through me.

I decided to hold off on it. I needed more time with Hemlock to see if he was really here to help. I figured we could start small and work our way up.

"Those building collapses over there," I told Hemlock, facing the direction where the Goodra explosion happened. "I'm responsible for that. It cut a wound into the Trick House's assimilated reality, but it's still not enough damage and we need to do more. If we're to bring this place down, we need to do as much damage as possible. It might just break us out of this assimilated reality."

If Hemlock was willing to help me with this, then I could definitely say he was not one of the Trick Master's cronies. He seemed like an okay guy right now, but so did Tom the Treecko, and that maggot was just one of the Trick Master's agents. And I had a feeling we hadn't seen the last of those freaks either.

Now, I just needed Jirachi to help guide me. I wasn't sure what Jirachi had in mind in terms of weapons and things that would help, but down here, I had to be ready for anything.

<I sense Hemlock is genuine. He's not one of Trick Master's agents. In the meantime, I can help you get something that should be helpful. There is a vending machine just a few paces to your right, about half a city block down. All you need to do is put in a four digit number and it will dispense something. Some things it creates are good, but most of them are bad. Unfortunately, as a human, you're vulnerable to attack and transformation, and if you plan on doing damage to this fabricated realm, you need to be ready to fight a lot of the Trick Master's servants. We have to force his hand.>

"I hear ya." I spoke softly in a whisper, trying to keep it between Jarichi and myself. "If it's better that I get transformed again, I need something that's fast, strong, and can take a beating. I don't know anything about setting bombs, and if possible, I want it to be something that can topple buildings. We need the disruption here to turn into a fatal wound."

<I think I might have just the thing...>

This man brought up an interesting proposal. He supposedly had been the one that blew up the factory. Hemlock cast a glance towards the factory. He had seen it blow up but decided it was nothing more than the Trick Master's madness. It seems this was not so.

"Intriguing," Hemlock mused. "This would be an ideal but laborious task. It would possibly free us, but the Trick Master would come after us with everything he had to impede our efforts. However, it would increase my chances of locating Mistress again." Hemlock shrugged and tapped his chin. After a minute he nodded. "All right, I shall aid in your efforts, if you will allow it."

"Intriguing," Hemlock mused. "This would be an ideal but laborious task. It would possibly free us, but the Trick Master would come after us with everything he had to impede our efforts. However, it would increase my chances of locating Mistress again."

While he had a point, there was no other way out of this mess. Everything he threw at us would just have to be destroyed one way or another. From what Jirachi told me, he was not going to easily let this world go and fall apart.

"All right," Hemlock told me after shrugging and tapping his chin. "I shall aid in your efforts, if you will allow it."

"Anything you can do to destroy whatever he created has got to do something," I told him. "We might need to get creative. At least you have some Pokémon attacks you can use, but me... I've got to see what's around that I can use."

And there wasn't much. In the meantime, I went to go find that vending machine that Jirachi had mentioned earlier. After heading half a city block down, I managed to find it, only I wasn't sure what Jirachi had in mind.

<Put in 3184. Trust me, you'll like it and it's just what you asked for.>

I didn't hesitate. I simply pressed the buttons, and out came a small metal bottle with no marking or label as to what it did. I grabbed it and it felt like there was some liquid inside. I swore, if Jirachi wasn't guiding me here, it was easy to think this stuff could be laced with cyanide. Still, from the looks of it, it seemed like there was some kind of secret to whatever was in this bottle.

I screwed off the metal cap, and decided to smell the stuff. It didn't even smell like anything. Well, I decided there was only one way to find out if this was the real deal.

I drank down the whole thing, and it didn't even taste like anything in particular. It could have just been normal water for all I knew. I decided to take a few steps back away from the vending machine, knowing this was supposed to transform me into something.

<Get ready, this is going to feel... different for you.>

Different!?

It all happened so instantly. One moment, I was simply standing there as a human, and then just a few seconds later, I became giant. I had become some kind of massive, ultra-powerful bird with enormous rainbow wings, golden tail feathers, and felt like I was totally brimming with power and fury. Meanwhile, I must have been standing at least a hundred feet tall as some colossal titan of ferocious tenacity.

"WHAT IS... THIS!?" I exclaimed, almost in shock and awe.

<Good, it worked exactly as I had hoped. You've become the giant Mega Evolution of Ho-oh (http://www.deviantart.com/art/Mega-Ho-oh-601618267). It's the most amount of power I could give to you within close proximity. I just hope it will be enough against what the Trick Master is capable of unleashing. It's best you work as quickly as you can. Take down as much of the creations as possible. The Trick Master can't be allowed to create a third realm, or we might not get another chance at this.>

I quickly unleashed what could only be described as a Sacred Incineration attack... or at least that's what I decided to call it. I unleashed total, fiery mayhem from my mouth, spattering a large building with crushing, destructive fire. Most of the flames melted even the concrete and steel like it was nothing but butter being dumped into boiling lava. Within seconds, the building collapsed and dust was thrown into the air.

"This is just incredible," I spoke, almost enraptured by this amazing form.

<Don't celebrate just yet. He's already onto you. And... you're about to have company real soon...>

It then became very apparent there was a very good reason why Jirachi equipped me with something like this...

Dylan Thomas and Fox Oleander
Human and Mermaid
On their way to the abandoned city

It can only be described as strange when someone sees a giant bird burst from nothingness then take out a badly. Sadly, it surprised neither Fox nor Dylan. The two were still far away from the city, currently resting near a pond to let Dylan catch his breath. Despite being able to carry Sloane with ease, trying to carry a mermaid version of Fox was no simple task. Dylan was only human afterall. The two watched with mild amusement as the bird just completely torched a building.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say that was Jonathan," Dylan joked. Fox snorted, having been updated on Dylan's recent undergoings.

"Sounds like he's quite the blast," Fox retorted. She laughed as Dylan shivered and stuck out his tongue in disgust.

"Trust me, I won't be training any Goodras any time soon. If anything I might have to go to therapy after that one."

Jonathan was most definitely insane. That much, Hemlock was sure of. But that wasn't necessarily something of malice. Hemlock had judged Jonathan a worthy companion for the time being and so he would stick to his promise of destruction. Hemlock ended up following Jonathan and watching in silence as, seemingly guided by an outside force, he punched in a specific number and downed a drink. Hemlock had to back up quite a bit as Jonathan was suddenly a version of Ho-oh Hemlock had never seen before. But its power was immense, of that much he was certain.

Hemlock quickly detected approached enemies and drew two leaf blades as his swords. A smirk adorned his face as Hemlock reviewed Jonathan's comments about his ability to use Pokemon moves. Oh how little he knew. Stomping his foot into the ground, Hemlock prepared to use petal dance combined with his leaf blades against whatever was coming.

Jonathan Bradshaw - Giant Mega Ho-oh
Abandoned City
Affected RPers: Alphys

He was onto us. And he was not about to let his Trick Realm, or whatever he insisted this was, crumble apart.

"You're going to wish you hadn't done that."

The first of the Trick Masters monsters was some ungodly huge shadow mega evolution of what had to be an Aerodactyl. Following it had to be some kind of high-tech military gunships that looked like they belonged in an era that wasn't supposed to happen until fifty years later.

"ELIMINATE THE FUGITIVES."

That was it. They might as well have been robots. It then occurred to me that frying and blowing these guys up was of no consequence. They weren't actually real, alive, or had souls. They were simply the Trick Master's creation and were little more than illusions in physical form.

I decided to attack the gunship swarm first, even though I could tell they thought I was going to challenge the Aerodactyl first. I knew what they were planning on doing, but their swarm and surround tactic wasn't going to work.

I unleashed a massive Firestorm attack, spraying a good lot of them with flames and heat. Tongues of fire and embers were sprayed everywhere and whatever gunships weren't blown up in midair was bathed in flames and were sent flying out of control.

<He's stalling for time. You need to keep destroying as much of the Trick Realm as possible. Don't let these distract you too much.>

"I gotcha," I muttered.

The Aerodactyl charged while the surviving gunships tried to comprehend what just happened to their incinerated allies. I flew upward and unleashed a Devastation Fireball at the monster Aerodactyl, but he flew out of the way. That, however, didn't bode well for the city as the sphere of flames crashed into a skyscraper and sent massive, consuming flames in all directions. Several buildings collapsed and turned into dust while fires raged out of control.

The gunships tried a last ditch effort to surround me, but I protected myself with a Flame Barrier, which shielded me from the laser cannon fire. Meanwhile, anything that touched it was rapidly burnt and melted into goop.

The Aerodactyl slammed into me, sending both of us crashing into a nearby office building, which completely flattened it. Again, I noticed distortions that broke the realty of the Trick Realm. It was like a computer simulation breaking and collapsing, but it was still managing to survive the damage.

The crash was painful, but as the Aerodactyl tried to lunge for my throat. I sprung forward and used my powerful beak like hedge clippers, right on his neck. I bit down hard, hard enough to tear all the way through and decapitate the Aerodactyl, causing his head to lifelessly roll off and tumble on the pile of rubble that was created from the building collision.

I quickly got back up, knowing there was still a lot of stuff to destroy. But at least we were making progress.

In the air, I saw the Trick Master called into two more adversaries, a giant-sized Mega Charizard X and a similar-sized Mega Pidgeot. Meanwhile, there were more military forces. I knew he wouldn't run out of these goons, so I had to focus more on destroying the environment more than these cookie cutter clowns that would never stop coming.

Hemlock quickly saw there was not much he could do in the current situation. Everything was much bigger than him and he trusted that Jonathan could handle it. Right now, he would focus on part two of the mission, destroy anything and everything. Throwing his leaf blades into the air, Hemlock spun and released a large petal dance attack into the nearby buildings. It didn't do much but that wasn't Hemlock's main attack. He just had to wait out the petal dances. Releasing several more attacks, Hemlock felt the state of confusion set in, but did his best to suppress it. He couldn't let that distract him now.

Hemlock dashed off to another part of the city from Jonathan and formed several seed bombs into his hands. Biting the tips to light them, Hemlock began to toss multiple seed bombs into nearby buildings as well as sparing a few at the airships above. Hemlock had to stop and take cover after a bit, the fatigue getting to him. He cringed as his confusion began to warp his surroundings greatly, causing him disorientation. Humans always wondered why pokemon acted like they did in a confused state, but the reason they always hit themselves is because confusion was a hell you didn't want to enter.

Hemlock felt the ground shake as his seed bombs went off and his confusion state faded for the time being. Hemlock stood shakily and began to run again, littering the place with as many seed bombs as possible.

Epilogue: The Creation Collapses

Escalation of commitment.

What started as a few heated battles turned into a vicious, all out war. Regardless of what happened and how much pain they endured, Jonathan, Dylan, Fox, and Hemlock did what they could to cause as much structural damage to the Trick House's dreamworld by destroying its last cities and defeating the last of the Trick Master's guardians and emissaries. Despite his attempts to keep his last creation intact, the Trick Master's missions had failed and had collapsed before his eyes. He knew that soon, there would be nothing left in the wake of this chaos. Those that had fallen into his Trick House Underground would be free to leave, and he knew they would all warn everyone else about the dangers of heading into the Trick House. He was even well aware he could face dire litigation in addition to it all.

However, he had sensed that those responsible for this collapse had help. He knew it was impossible for them to have been able to do this on their own and he recognized the signs that he was betrayed.

It was Jirachi's plan to flee to Jonathan once the dreamworld wonderland had collapsed...

...but it never happened. After she realized they were successful in causing the collapse but before she could retreat, the Trick Master had realized there was no saving his creations from destruction. Despite the harsh reality that was about to set in once again, he knew he could start again. He knew she was behind the reason why Jonathan and the others had gained the power and control that they did in a world that should have left them in wonder, mystery, and confusion. It couldn't have been luck. And so, while Jirachi thought the Trick Master would be distracted and crestfallen about his destroyed creations, he caught on to her plan of trying to escape with the last and final wish. Before she could, he spent that third and final wish. But before he even uttered a word, Jirachi knew it was going to be a request she would forever regret having to fulfill...

"I want to begin again. I want my power to expand into the rest of the real world, far beyond even just this basement. Grant me my wish!"

Jirachi had been willing to be erased by giving the third wish to Jonathan to avoid having such a thing happen, but it was too late and she knew what dire circumstances that would be created from it. Jirachi pleaded with the Trick Master to reconsider, but he refused, wishing and desiring something far more wondrous and fantastical than what Arceus had created. He hungered to create something better, something more incredible and astounding, something that would be entirely his. He thirsted to pull the world Arceus forged and humanity built upon completely apart piece by piece, replacing it entirely with his creation. Nothing would ever be the same.

Unfortunately for everyone, Jirachi could not restrain herself from granting that last and final wish. She knew she would live, having fulfilled her master's desires, but the cost and consequences of it would be something she would feel traumatized for.

Before she fell back into her slumber, she had granted the Trick Master's third and final wish. She would not be awake to see what bedlam would become of it, but she hoped that somehow, someway, he would be merciful with the power he had gained or at least learn compassion and be wise and responsible with the gift he had been given.

But that hope slipped away just as Jirachi's consciousness did...
