Thank you, Neo! :D Haha yes, that cubone drawing has a special place with me as well. It was inspired by the cubone who plays the drums in the Pokemon Chanel anime special, and also Florence + The Machine's Drumming Song. x) Yeah, DA got sorta boring for me. xD

It's like I try to access a vault that contains the design of a background and my brain goes, "Access Denied. Draw stupid squiggles instead." SO THAT'S WHAT I DO.

Honestly I'm so bad at drawing characters I'd probably be better off drawing backgrounds. Ask for me to add a pose to a character? It'd end up even worse. So yeah there's always that in which you are good at, which you like more than the other and are better at than the other. Yours and Gemma's seems to be characters over the backgrounds. It so is! Expressions, poses, and we know how to shade them. Whereas the background...it seems like all the rules are different! Even if they're not actually. xD It does!

Been almost two years since I used this thread. XD But hey I haven't drawn much lately. ;~;

My work friend's cat got run over about two weeks ago, and I've been working on this on and off. Finally finished it today because it's been ages since it happened and I wanted to give it to her, and also I was so unsatisfied with it and didn't know how to fix it so I was like "WHATEVER IT'S FINE" XD I wanted it to be not realistic but not too cartoony and I hope(?) I reached that?

Thank you so much, Neo! I tried to get the face stripes at least somewhat accurate but I had imprecise photos to work with haha. But I managed! She was really appreciative which is the main thing. <3
