What was your first anime or manga?

Hmm....first anime. I think it was DBZ? If not that then it was probably something I don't really remember. it's been way too long and I've watched too many xD

First manga for sure was Detective Conan and Naruto (both I started around the same time).

Technically, the first one I ever saw was Sailor Moon for about five minutes before I kind of figured I really wasn't the target audience for that. I found the animation style to be interesting and different from what I was typically used to seeing in American cartoons, but I didn't keep watching it.

Since then, I have seen stuff like Pokemon (obviously), Yu-gi-oh, Death Note, and Bleach. I'm currently trying to decide whether to get into Ghost in in the Shell, Attack on Titan, or Cowboy Bebop. All three of them seem really good and I've heard good things about all of them.

My first anime was Pokemon, of course. :') I don't think I've ever read any manga, and the only other anime I've watched somewhat religiously was Sword Art Online. I've seen all of season one and two, and I don't think I'll watch season three because I don't really like gun stuff that much. I really like swords and sword fighting, so that's what attracted me to the first two seasons! I also only watch dubbed anime because I get more enthralled because I don't have to focus on captions the whole time (I've only watched Mega Evolution Specials without dub because I just couldn't wait).

I think Pokémon on both counts. I've seen a couple of others since, but I'm not big into either really.

Cowboy Bebop, for sure. I like Ghost in the Shell, and I never got into Attack on Titan.

My first anime: It's probably freakin' Sailor Moon, as well. Only difference is that I made it through a whole episode.

My first Manga: Do grown up Mangas count? No? Then probably Fullmetal Alchemist.

DBZ or Sailor Moon! I forget which one it actually was, but that doesn't really matter. xD;

And after that...so much anime and manga I lost count years ago. Cx At the moment I'm watching Nisekoi. So hilarious I love it.

The first anime I ever watched from start to finish was Angel Beats. I had seen bits and pieces of other anime, namely Naruto, DBZ, and of course, Pokemon, but Angel Beats was the first time I actively tried to get into anime, and it got me hooked. I've never read a manga though. I've tried to get into the Pokemon manga but I didn't have the patience.

Not counting Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! or other kid-based anime that exist to advertise a collection of monsters, the first anime I watched was Code Geass. I watched it when I was 11, and I don't even know why I did, but I enjoyed it and still do because I watched it again not that long ago. :D

First anime was InuYasha. It was like on late night kids' TV channel and I always watched it on the weekends when I was allowed to stay up late. Nostalgia.

First one would be Pokemon. I remember watching it when it was first shown here in the UK and I quickly became a fan. After that was Yu-Gi-Oh!, which was also my first Manga.

It was definitely Sailor Moon. I watched an episode or two when we had VHS back in the day!

I don't remember what kind of manga I first picked up though.

First anime was pokemon, but my mom kinda banned it for a while because I was too into it. The anime that got me back into it was Naruto.

First manga was Soul Eater, which I still have not finished.

I feel left out, they only aired Sailor Moon on channels we didn't have over here so I've somehow never seen it :c

I don't know which one was my first anime, but it's either Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z or Digimon. I'd also like to give an honourable mention to Sonic-X because I was obsessed with it when I was like 8. The first one I watched in full was Lucky Star! I don't read manga, but my family bought me volume 1 of Death Note when I was 13 so I guess that counts
