Autumn Succulent
March 2013
Oil Pastels
For my GCSE fine art course we had to do two main projects for coursework. The first was a brief set to us which was "Botanical" so we had a trip to our local Botanical Gardens to get pictures. I took my dad's camera but as i'm an idiot, instead of taking pictures I accidentally took videos of everything so I ended up with nothing. Me and my friend decided to go back there a second time to get more pictures and they added more succulents that weren't there originally, this being one of them. I decided to do an oil pastel piece for it and it ended up being one of my most favourite pieces from my whole fine art course.

Botanical
June 2013
Acrylic Paint
With out coursework projects in Fine Art GCSE we had to do a "Final Piece" so I decided to do an acrylic canvas piece and decided to paint this. I can't remember the type of flower it was. I'm not a flower person so didn't take any notice haha. My sister loved it so much I ended up giving it to her.
Unable to find picture at the moment. Will add when I find one.

Chrome observations
Februrary 2014
Pencil
For my second coursework project we had a choice from multiple "starting points". I chose Chrome and started to do some observational imagery. I think some of this turned out quite nice. The initial work was pencil sketches

Chrome Observations pt. 2
March 2014
Acrylic
For my second coursework project we had a choice from multiple "starting points". I chose Chrome and started to do some observational imagery. I think some of this turned out quite nice. Once completing the initial sketches I wanted to get more technical so I then chose to do some oil pastel work

Chrome
May 2014
Acrylic Paint
We then had to do a "Final Piece" for our project and I decided to do a collection of shiny chrome like objects. So I had a yoyo I got for being an usher at my brothers wedding, a jewellery box that was a large shiny metallic ball and some ball bearings. I then used a nice Silk like blanket to add some interesting colour and reflections.

Yellow Rose

Acrylic Paint
My uncle saw my painting so asked a commission from me. He wanted a rose painting done so this is what I did for him. Personally I think I could have done better, it's not my favourite, but he liked it.

Vivila Pistor
June 2012
Drawing tablet work
One of my earliest pieces of digital art. This was an art trade between me and a friend. She was really into Homestuck at the time and wanted me to draw her OC troll. Vivlia

Kelisa Mindlistener
June 2012
Drawing tablet work
The first attempt at drawing my Original Character Kelisa. She is the main character of a comic book concept I have which I eventually wish to create. She has telepathic powers and survived an assassination attempt when she was a child, hence her large scar.

Pearl Delunee
June 2012
Drawing tablet work
A medieval character of my making, she went through a long process because I drew her on paper which took about 3 hours, I went over the lines in pen, scanned it in, redid the lines in SAI and added colours and added an ever-so-simple background.
I think she was a successful drawing.

Ivilo- Robo Samurai
July 2012
Drawing tablet work
My first full body digital drawing attempt. He's a robot samurai with a sword instead of a second arm. He's standing in lava for some reason, i guess because it looked cool.

Dalmation
July 2012
Drawing Tablet work
A birthday drawing I did for my niece of her dog Sam the dalmation. My first attempt at an animal drawing.

The Dragon of the void
June 2013
Drawing Tablet work
My first digital art in a long time. I got a new drawing tablet last week and I did this. It took ages as I needed to get used to the tablet. It is a dragon which has the power to open voids. It was random.

Felicity Snow
October 2013
Drawing Tablet work
This is an original character design of a character from my "Hunger Games" story. It is Felicity Snow, President Snow's granddaughter.
I am really happy with how this turned out and the first time I tried this style of art as in the colouring, It took me ages, mainly because I was terrible at the hands.. and they still aren't perfect, but I'm happy with it.

Kelisa Whitblaze
January 2015
Drawing Tablet work
Kelisa Whitblaze is one of my OC's. I got inspired to draw her when one of my friends at college was drawing their OC and I thought, since I haven't drawn in ages, I should draw her. So here she is. I think I have found my art style that I am comfortable using and have begun to find a shading style I like, however, the shading will need some tweaking and improvement until I am satisfied with it, but overall, I like how it turned out.

Frozen
July 2015
Drawing Tablet work
Heres my version of Elsa and Olaf with the Ice Castle in the background (Which I heavily simplified because I didn't want to spend so much effort on the background)
This is a present I did for my niece's 5th birthday, she loves frozen so I did her this so she can have it framed in her room.
I am really happy with it. It is the first time I did a properly detailed background and the first time I pulled off a full body pose well and did the hands to a decent extent.
I am also in love with what I did with her icy powers. It was only experimentation on them and it turned out great.

January 2016
Drawing Tablet work
A picture i did for my friend for her 18th, it includes her and her 2 favourite characters from her favourite film and anime.

Jack
July 2016
Drawing Tablet work
A commission from a friend of his OC Jack.
This character does not belong to me, it is only the artwork of the character that does.
I tried using different techniques for shading here and it really paid off. Definitely found my style now.

Basilisk [Low Poly]
July 2016
Low Poly art
So, recently my drawing tablet broke, which sucks, so I wanted, in preparation for my university course for Graphic Design, to try out some vector and graphical art and always wanted to do some Poly Art as I think it looks amazing. As inspiration from my lizard, I did some Poly art of a Basilisk Lizard's head. This is my first attempt and I hope to do some more as it was super fun, although a little annoying and fiddly.

Beagle [Low Poly]
July 2016
Low Poly art
My second attempt at poly art based on my girlfriends dogs. I think it turned out quite decent.

Low Poly Pokemon
July 2016
Low Poly art
I wanted to do more low poly art and decided that I wanted to try and do pokemon. I decided to do them without faces as a style choice as I felt they looked better than they did with faces.

Low Poly fusions
July 2016
Low Poly art
I wanted to then develop these by doing fusions. I would get the official sugimori art and then use those to fuse the artworks, recolour them and then create low poly versions. These include: Mewchu (Mew + Pikachu), Maracog (Maractus + Watchog), Salazzle grass retype

Sam & Emily self portrait
December 2016
Drawing Tablet work
A drawing on me and my girlfriend, drawn for her for Christmas. It's a decent first try at portrait drawings as I mainly do drawings of characters I create spontaneously from my head or from references that are already cartoon-like. I tried a different style of eyes and I think they look well with the style I draw so I might adapt them into my style. I think the drawing of my girlfriend turned out better than the one of myself.

Kelisa Whitmann
April 2017
Drawing Tablet work
I wanted to retry doing my OC Kelisa once again as I hadn't drawn her for a few years. I find it quite interesting comparing her to my previous drawings and seeing just how my art style has developed over time.

The Adventurers
June 2018
Vector Art
A commission from my sister in law for a present for her friend. She wanted her and two of her friends drawn as adventurers and wanted an axe wielder, an archer and magician. This was the first large scale vector art I did as I didn't fancy using my drawing tablet. I think it turned out quite nicely.

Elrint Moorneer
January 2022
Drawing Tablet work
I'm usually not very good at full body drawings as I struggle with proportion but I really tried hard with this one. My friends and I are starting a DnD group and I used this as a perfect opportunity to do some artwork of my character I've made up. This is Elrint Moorneer. He is an Aasimar Warlock. His allignment is Neutral/Evil and he has a warlock pact with the Raven Queen. When rolling for his stats I got very decent stats everywhere except health. His health is shockingly bad. So bad that my dungeon master keeps saying they are worried I'm gonna die straight away. So I made it part of his story. So basically he has this rivalry with this demon as she killed his whole family so he went on a vendetta to kill her. Along the way some dark paladins really messed him up. That's when he got the pact with the Raven Queen. He's so frail as he never healed from his wounds. So without further ado. Here is Elrint.

Sprite over compliation
May 2012
Sprite over
Back before I joined this forum I was part of a forum called "Pokestadium" and they had a very big sprite community. I posted a lot of sprites on there as they had a "Pokecreator" where members could post their sprites. As it's gone now I've lost a lot of those but I managed to find this. a compliation of a few I did where I used official art to merge pokemon and then created a sprite from that. Which is called a sprite over.

I like your style Coru! The hair and clothes all have nice texture to them :D Your current WIP looks really really nice! Such smooth lineart and the hair looks great! And I really like your pencil sketches. :)

Hey, Coru! Sorry I didn't comment sooner. ;o; You've sure got an interesting style going on here, the way you use strokes to colour your digital pieces.

Although my favourites would have to be your traditional work; especially those observational sketches and the colourful flower drawn with oil pastels. :D I like oil pastels myself, however I hate the regular kind. Like chalk. It's horrible. 3:

I hope to see more stuff from you!

That last picture with the flower is pretty awesome and I really like the colors you used for that one. I didn't really think orange, yellow and brown would look that good before, but it's cool, as if you captured autumn's colors in a flower.

That picture with Frozen is also pretty well-done! Olaf is such a goofball. xD

You know as common as I know flower art can be, each on has their own unique style to it by each artist (I know I keep saying "unique," but it's just how it is!). The color matches up really well! It's funny where inspiration for a piece of art can come from, but that's sometimes where some of the best art originates from in history. The others were great as well. Really like the art style though Coru! Great job!

I have finished the commission I had been asked to do for a friend and here it is!
http://pre04.deviantart.net/f44c/th/pre/f/2016/189/2/1/commission__jack_by_corrupt_voidlich-da98a2z.png
I am really happy with how it went. The clothes are in the style I wanted them to be and although a little flat looking, I will perfect the shading soon.

Annoyingly, my drawing tablet broke, which is very annoying, so no more digital drawing for me at the moment, but in prep for Uni and my graphics course, I want to do some practice in Illustrator and do some vector art. I always wanted to do some Poly Art so here is my first try at some Poly Art with me doing a Basilisk Lizard, is inspiration of Oakie.

Nice work on that commission. I like the gradient colouring on the clothing!

That sucks about your tablet. But that poly art is really cool! It looks really complicated. Is it difficult?

Coru

It is a little difficult. I found a tutorial on it the other day which shows it is nowhere near as difficult as it looks though. If you find a picture, some art or a drawing you want to make into some Poly Art, you then draw around it very loosely, draw around some main details loosely and then fill everything else in with random lines that connect to make triangles and when the entire image is filled with different random triangles, you make it so the lines create the shapes and then you select the colours from in image underneath so the triangles can have some accurate colour. This is just how I did it in Illustrator though so it's probably very different in another piece of software.
Here's the tutorial if you are interested.

UPDATE:
(first post updated)

Ok, so I may be going a little bit Poly Art crazy at the moment. It may just be a phase but I am completely obsessed. I have made 3 more today so I will post them here.

After creating my Basilisk Lizard Poly Art, I wanted to do another animal, and in inspiration of my girlfriend's dogs, I did a Beagle. I am extremely happy about this. It's my best one in my opinion. Here it is
http://orig09.deviantart.net/754c/f/2016/206/6/7/beagle__poly_art__by_corrupt_voidlich-dabbd43.png

Also, I wanted to do a few pokemon, so I got the Pokemon Go models of Eevee and Jynx and decided to have a go with them. I really like the Eevee one, it looks so cute, but the Jynx one was a lot harder to do as it was a more complicated design so I think I pulled it off but it looks a bit weird. I really enjoy doing these Poly Arts though. It's really fun and they look very interesting. Here they are

Eevee

Edit: I also did a Cyndaquil too! My favourite so far I think

Thank you. :3 I love low poly so much, it is one of my favourite art styles and never really had the opportunity to try it until I had so much free time during the transition from College to Uni and I thought why not practice it. Some I dislike as the shading is a bit uneven but, like you said, it makes it look like paper folds, which is quite cool. Glad you like it :)

These are really cool Coru! I love the beagle and Bulbasaur <3

Thanks! I'm really impressed with how the beagle came out, it's one of my favourites purely because I made it from a real photo so it was a little trickier than making the pokemon ones which were just using the official art for each of them.

There's 7 more that I shall add now, again, I'm going to leave them in the post and just add a link to the OP so I don't get up to the picture limit just in case I want to add different types of art to the OP.

So here they are.

[Mewchu is a sprite fusion of Mew and Pikachu I made on PokeStadium back when I was a member and used the PokéCreator. It was my most popular sprite (Can't find the original sprite as a comparison which is sad) but I thought to make these a bit more interesting, I will start to do fusions too. If you have any suggestions, I'd be glad to do them.]

I feel like these are my favourite batch so far because quite a lot of the designs were much more complicated so it took much more effort to do them and I feel like I pulled them off well. Shiny Mega Sceptile was a nightmare though, there were so many small triangles I had to fill individually that subtly make it look better but make a massive difference in the end, so that took forever, but it's now my favourite one I have done.

Corrupt_Voidlich it would be so cool if you did requests! I'd actually love to see this done for sprite art. C: Not in a pixellated style--I mean this style using the pose of a sprite from one of the games. Not as small as a sprite, either--maybe a few times the size. It'd be cool. <:

Suicune's Fire That sounds like a really interesting idea actually and would make it more of a challenge which I am always up for, I will definitely try it for my next batch and see if I can pull it off, the next batch might take a while though because Illustrator is being annoying. I ended my subscription whilst I ended college as it was expensive to pay whilst not doing a specific graphics course, so I've been using a free trial between but that's beginning to run out, I've found a work-around for now though. 5 more weeks and I get my student loan and then I can afford it again. Hopefully my work-around will last until then haha.
Rival Max Thank you. :3 I got the inspiration from those sort of posters actually, I always saw some like it whenever I went to MCM Birmingham Comic Con and I always wanted to make my own. It's a little complicated to get used to mainly due to the steps you have to go through to create the triangles and with all the layers within layers and stuff, but when you have got the hang of that, it's quite simple to do, you then just have to find your style and preferred luck and you're off making plenty of them, haha. I'm wondering what would happen if I print some off and paint or colour on top of them so it could add a bit more to it.

Rival Max That depends on a few things. If depends on the shading the image has, the simplicity of the design, the amount of triangles I decide to go for and the colours. For example, if I did a simple design with little triangles I could be done in roughly about an hour, however, if it is a complicated design with loads of triangles as I want more detail and quite a few colours, then it could very well take 3 hours or more as I go through each triangle manually, also shading has a big part in it, because if there is 3d shading then I can just take the colour of the image itself as each triangle then will be a different colour so they won't merge into one huge block, however, if the shading is quite flat and blocky, I will have to change the colour manually slightly so each triangle is still a different colour. So, for example, the Chikorita maybe took an hour and a half to make, but the shiny mega Sceptile was more on the 3 hours side as Chikorita has simple colours, a simple design and large triangles apposed to Sceptile's more diverse colours, more intricate design and smaller triangles. It all depends on how detailed you want to make it really. :)
Suicune's Fire
Is this the sort of thing you meant with creating some that were like the sprites? It doesn't look too good as it was a first attempt at trying it and I still have to find a way to get the best result, whether that be increasing the size of the sprite and overlaying or maybe even drawing it myself and colouring it by picking out shades from the sprite rather than the overlay.

thanks guys. I love doing the Low Poly art, anyone got any suggestions to how I can switch them up and making them more interesting? Maybe trying some spriting art ideas in them, so maybe making retypes or fusions or something and making a low poly of them?

I want to be doing more stuff as I now have the programs to work with and a really decent (and expensive) drawing tablet so I can do my art as good as I possibly can. Moving to uni has hit me harder than expected because although I love it, I have felt much more anxious and stuff whilst away, so motivation to do much art except for the graphics work for uni has been very low, so hopefully I can change that.
Since I have been home for Christmas holiday, I have been working on my girlfriend's Christmas present, which is this self portrait of us. It is far from amazing as there are so many flaws in it, but I think it is a decent first attempt as a portrait drawing of people I know instead of it being a drawing created from ideas in my head. My girlfriend turned out the better of the two of us.

I have decided to do something I've called the 'Low poly Calendar' for the whole month of January. I will create one low poly Pokemon every day of January that is randomly selected from a randomly selected Pokemon generator. This is to get me to do art more often and a New Years resolution of mine too. I may do an art calendar every month, with each month trying out a different art style depending on how much time I have.

Yeah, it's commitment that hopefully I can stick too haha, I want to prove to myself I can stick to something though because I have a really bad habit of coming up with really good ideas for me to do stuff and then not following them through because I give up with it.

I don't usually put the eyes in my low poly art versions because it is really fiddly, because you use triangles, the eyes most of the time look quite odd and flat because you can't get the correct shading and shape so I leave out the eyes. It's not too noticeable on some of my others but it's quite noticeable with Granbulls fierce eyes gone, but I quite like having my own little unique twist on them. I may attempt adding eyes in one of my next few and see how they are though. I'm hoping that by the end of this month, there is a noticeable improvement with my style as I will have done 31 throughout the month.

One thing I've noticed, though, is that you often use long, thin triangles for your polygonal work. Maybe you could try making it a little more intricate by adding more triangles so they're not quite as "stretched", so to speak. Maybe try varying the sizing and angles a little more. c:

I've noticed that and loathed it so much, I'm going to attempt to try and correct that because sometimes it just looks a little odd. The way I do my poly art though usually causes it but I can tweak it a bit.

BTW, I don't know if anything has been changed but now I keep getting messages saying my file size is too large to put into the post but it's probably smaller than previous pictures I have put on here so I'm finding it a real issue to put my art in this thread, especially since tinypic has now banned my uni wifi IP address for some reason.

I'm not sure about the problems you're having with images (I haven't had any), but I use imgur to upload. I wonder if that makes a difference at all?

Also don't worry about posting when you have school and such; we all know that's more important. xD And yeah I can understand the thing with the triangles. You noticed though, so that's good. C: Just do 'em how ya can! They still look awesome, and so does that Roserade. *u*

I personally like the long triangular shapes; maybe just dont use them too much though! But yeah they're nice, as they help give that "folded paper" look.

Btw imgur is the superior race. Tinypic is the spawn of satan

Awesome Roserade, Coru! I like the smaller triangles, but I didn't have a problem with the bigger ones either (though sometimes there was white that showed between the triangle lines, like the background coming through). I don't know why you've had weird image restriction problems. Is it the forum telling you? If so, what's the message that pops up? I've posted huge images before and they were fine. Alternatively you can use the tag which you use like this:

[imgsize=value] img link

The value depends on how big you want it. For instance, you can try 500 and see how it looks, and if it's too big, try 200, etc. I BELIEVE the value affects only the y axis, meaning that it'll be 500px tall, and the x value will scale accordingly.

I've started using Imgur now and the seems to work fine, so thanks for suggesting that guys. :D
As usual, I've kind of not managed to do my January Low poly Calendar. I've done some and will plan to complete it eventually but the one a day has kind of backed up a lot. I haven't managed to do any this week either as this whole week was a design event for my uni when guest speakers came in to talk to us. I managed to win a visit to the offices of Saatchi and Saatchi in London for our group's advertisement campaign pitch, which is amazing though.
These are all the ones that I have managed to do so far though.

Cool! I like Braviary and Phantump a lot! Do you have a favourite from this bunch, or not?

Congrats on winning that company trip! I'm sure while you're there, you'll pick up lots of tips.

My favourite from this bunch is no doubt Phantump. I love the design and I think I pulled it off well too. Ghost types ftw! xD
Thanks, It's ironic that we won actually because a lot of our group didn't want to win, I'm glad we did though, I'm so excited.

Ok, so I have something really different to upload today. My new Uni brief is something that I could make up myself, and it's a creative Typography brief so I chose to base it around unique words with unusual meanings or words that have no English translation.
I've decided to do a visual photography project
Here are a few I've done so far.

As for the poly-pokemon, awesome too. :3 I think Phantump is also my favourite. cx

Hi guys, I haven't been on in forever but I'm super busy, the next three weeks I have my end of year deadlines which is super stressful, but after that I should be back and doing more art hopefully.

On the plus side. I have managed to do some art that I am really really proud of. It turned out amazing and definitely shows the best of my ability. I have an OC called Kelisa and every 2 years, I want to redraw her to show the development of my skills. I have now redone her three times. Here is the third time I did it. I am super proud of my shading style. I have finally perfected it and it fits with my drawing style perfectly. I also have managed to pull off her ethnicity. I always saw her as asian descent as when I first made her, she existed in the Death Note universe/Timeline in Japan. My previous drawings didn't really show that but I think this time I really pulled it off. Here it is.

Wow Coru! You've really done a great job! I love her features (eyes, lips), they look great! And I definitely agree you got the shading down and it does fit your style brilliantly. It's awesome when things come together. :D I also love the colours in her hair! Hope everything's going well for you in the real world!

I have now got 4 months or so of summer break from uni so I have so much free time on my hands so hopefully I will be able to post a lot more on here from now on an in the forum in general. I'm currently working on a drawing of BotW Link and I want to do more low poly art. For now, here Is some low poly art of Freddy Fazbear from FNAF.

Thanks! Yeah, I'd love to take part. It would be interesting to enter this year rather than judging, see if I can catch up with all the great artists we have on here. haha.

My banner turned out really good actually. My graphics course has made me a lot better at using photoshop so I was experimenting with what I taught myself. I need to practise more until it is perfected but I really like it.

Practising photoshop by creating real life Pokemon. I started out, obviously, by doing Pikachu. I intend to do more and start from the animal it is based off and try to create the real life version by using Photoshop to change the physical features. I think this went very well, but the tail needs a bit of work. The ears went very well I think.

Another piece of art to go up on here. This is again another drawing of my OC, Kelisa. I was really unhappy with the last drawing i did because the style was just bothering me, so I've gone back to a more cartoony style which I think works much better. I've also found some photoshop brushes that work well for shading so that's sorted too.
Here it is.
http://i.imgur.com/819lTR2.png

Here's also the updated progression timeline. Which 2017 style do you prefer? April or September
http://i.imgur.com/cTg4TLR.png
I might stick to both and develop them then have a branch out so I will have two styles i can choose from, a more playful cartoony style and a more to-the-point realistic style.

So, i'm back with more stuff. This is some work from uni that I had to submit before I finished for Christmas break. I'll post it in 3 stages so you can see the development of it. I was given a street to study and I had to come up with some form of design work. It could be anything at all. A book, a poster, a piece of graffiti etc. So I did a study of my road, spent an hour or so walking round it, collecting as much typography from the street as possible. All words from anywhere and then went and looked at the buildings. On my street I had my city's Grand Theatre so I wanted to do something to do with that, so I researched into it and found out that it had 3 ghosts haunting it. I researched them and got as much info as i could. Then i created a set of three theatre posters. Here they are.

I have three main stages to my posters. The main focus is the ghost. I wanted it to be a silhouette and wispy and thought, what better way than to do watercolour, so I did a watercolour base for all of my ghosts. I then went into photoshop and overlaid all of the words I found on my street onto the watercolour. It's a very subtle detail but it enhances the design a lot. A final touch was I added a faint blurry face into it to make them more human and ghost like. When this was done, I got to work on the poster layout. Each has a different genre, i wonder if any of you can guess them.

I have loads more design work that I'm proud of but it's a lot more graphic design orientated so some would find it quite boring, such as book designs and layouts and branding (stuff like logos, and in the case of my project, van designs and take out cups etc.) and i'd rather not post everything because of the possibility of plagiarism and stuff.

Hi all. It's been a while! Haven't been doing much lately but soon I should be on here much more regular. Starting April i'm going to try and stick to doing a drawing a day to develop my skills and create a style. I want to eventually have a table at Comic Village at MCM Comic Con (For people who don't know, MCM is a UK company that hosts the mainstream comic cons over here and they all have a Comic Village where artists can rent tables and sell their art) So to do that I need to work on my art. I also have an idea for a comic, I'd love to do a comic and I really love this idea for a story. If I end up doing it, which won't be for a good while as I need to get better with drawing and find a style, I might put snippets of it on here every now and then.
Here's the idea for the plot at the moment. It's still in draft stages right now but I've had this story idea for years so it isn't too bad.

Plot: Based around an 18 year old called Kelisa, or Kelly as her friends call her. Kelly is an 18 year old girl that hides a secret. When she was an infant, she lost her parents in a home invasion. A stranger came in and murdered her parents and attempted to murder her, they took nothing so no-one knows exactly what happened that night. All they know is she somehow survived however now sports a large scar across her left eye. Now at 18, she tries to live as normal of a life as she can. However, she is not normal. She is a 'novis'. A mutated human with unhuman powers. She is able to read and communicate through minds as if she were using a phone and able to influence others into doing what she wishes. Now living with an elderly couple who took her in she tries to pretend she is normal, but one day after high school, she returns to find them dead and she is suddenly is on the run from a cult-like group. Could these be the people who killed her parents, and what do they want with her? Does her new mysterious friend Finn have anything to do with it?

Here's the main character. You guys would have seen her already if you've seen some of my previous work. I was trying to colour with watercolour instead of digital art and i think i prefer doing this, it's more fun, so hopefully this will be my way of working with art from now on. Gonna need to improve and clean it up and work on my style (mainly the hair) but a good starting point.
Sorry the image is a bit rubbish. haha

Another art dumb. It's been a while.
This time I have focussed on doing some vector art from Illustrator so I can perfect it for my uni work. Over the last 2 weeks I have done a load of vector artwork either as presents or commission. Here they are.

Barbie Character

Those four are for birthday presents for all my nieces/nephews. There's one more to go, my nephew wants to be Mario, but I haven't quite got that one done yet.

I also got commissioned by my sister-in-law for her friend's birthday and wanted her and two of her friends to be warrior women standing atop of a dark thundery mountain. This took absolutely ages with the detail I had to do. Just look at the hair and the fur on the middle character lol. I am beyond happy with the outcome though. My style does need some improvement but as this was the first time I tried anything this detailed for vector at it's a really good start.

The Trio of Thunder.

I created individual posters for each of them for fun.

The Sorceress

The Huntress

I've absolutely loved doing these and everyone has said that they are really good and I should set up commissions so I am thinking I am going to set up an Etsy shop some time in the short future. I will most likely edit up this thread a bit so it can be more of a way to keep track with the art side of that here. I will post all the artwork that I have been doing to post up into the shop so you guys can see it before it goes up and you can give me some feedback on it and stuff. What do you guys think?
I'll be hopefully posting a lot more as I intend to keep myself busy with art over the summer and also I'm going to do all the arty events in PXFire so expect to see that stuff appear on here too.

Hi guys! Woah has it really been 4 years now since I've been somewhat active. I'm hoping to be more active on here now and trying to get back into art as a hobby as I've lost touch with it. With all the terrible things that have happened with covid and the loss of my mum I've started to get back into art as a form of therapy for me to keep my mental health at a good place and so far it seems to have worked, so watch this space, I intend to keep it up.

Only one new addition today but it's a big one, this took me forever to do and I'm super proud of it. Here is Elrint.

https://i.imgur.com/qIG06Zi.png

Would love to know your guy's opinions on him.
I'm gonna be cleaning up this thread I think as I can see a lot of the links have expired and the banners and such are really out of date and then I have some ideas of things I want to do, like fakemon, original character concepts. I really want to gear myself up to starting my own comic series. I have the idea and the storyline and all that, I just need the drawing skills to back it up.

Here's to 2022 and hopefully a year of arty activity on here.

Took forever but I've overhauled my OP so please check it out. I found loads of old work that I did and have added it. So no new work since Elrint but it's quite interesting to see how my art style has changed and progressed. I've added some sprite work and some traditional art work too, so its not just digital.

Thank you! I went a bit OTT with his character. Made a whole backstory. I can post it on here if you're curious haha. It's a bit all over the place though. I'm quite proud of it to be fair. I'm really surprised how good it came out as it is the first bit of art I did in so long. I tried a no shading style too which made me a bit nervous but I think I pulled it off in the end haha.
