Pokemon or Digimon?

The debate between whether Pokemon is better or Digimon is has been going on for a while now. Many people like Pokemon because of its creatures, the same with Digimon and some other things. So, I want your opinion: Which do you think is better? Is it Pokemon, or Digimon? Or do they balance each other out?

In my honest opinion, I don't have a favorite for all. The Pokemon games are really good and can keep you playing for a while after you beat it. But, I like Digimon better in terms of anime because it seems more serious in the tense that the heroes must save two worlds, both their world and the Digital World.

No, but seriously, only Pokémon. I watched Digimon a couple of times and got a handful of the cards, but I was already too into Pokémon by that point.

And nearly 15 years down the line, I still personally know loads of people who will talk about or still play the Pokémon games, but basically no one who will even mention Digimon.

Ironically, this was on Bulbagarden and it was pretty balanced in the sense that "Both" got a majority of the votes. xD

But, we're not Bulbagarden. Right? Right? Right?

Digimon is 3complex5me. In Pokemon, you take an animal and make it cute. xD In Digimon, YOU GIVE THE ANIMAL ROCKETS, MAKE IT SO PIMPED OUT WITH STUFF. At least, for some.

Eh, never got into Digimon. The original theme song was cool, but I just couldn't get engrossed in the story.

I agree with this.

I like both equally, as Pokemon has better games but Digimon had a more 'grab my attention' anime. That is until it seemed to fall off the map in the west.

I remember I loved digimom but it had stopped being aired on free TV so I couldn't watch it. It wasn't until I downloaded it (it is none of your business if it was legal or not :P) last year and watched the first two seasons. I have to say I enjoyed it, but I gotta tick the both box.

I was into Digimon for a bit at one time so I would have to go with both. Though none of my friends are really into Digimon.

I chose "Both" because I see both of the series as good ones in their own way. Pokemon teaches about friendship, and has all these creatures that you catch and befriend. Digimon is, like someone else said, a bit more intense and serious. I also like some of the Digimons' designs.

I voted for Pokémon. Digimon may be now on Netflix, but I just don't want to watch it. I'd rather watch something else. I wonder what happened to my extra Billy and Mandy episodes or sequels where my favorite line is being said? Enough said. I have been with Pokémon for a very long time. Pokémon was my favorite anime and I got into Pokémon XD, my favorite game of all time. I was planning on giving other people a chance to play against me, but no luck. I hardly follow the anime now-a-days as I'm older now and often can't get on a place to discuss it because of all the mischief that happened on other places on my end which really shouldn't have been my business. I do like other variants besides Pokémon.
