What would your band be known as? What position would you fill? How big would it be? What kind of songs would you sing and how might your records be named? Any particular record company in mind? Who would you collaborate with and why? Would you produce your own music or rely on external producers? What sort of visual aesthetic would the band drive towards?

So I actually have a band. Sort of. We are in the process of forming. Still trying to organise a practise time and pick a name. Suicune's Fire and Lunar Latias have seen us play.

What would your band be known as?
Steph (our singer), Michael (Rhythm Guitarist and singer) and possibly Nick (our drummer) want to call it Banana Republic. Whilst it isn't the worst name, I'm not completely sold. If I am outvoted I will take it though. Hayden (our bassist) isn't keen on it.
What position would you fill?
Lead guitarist, and keys, should we ever need keys. I'd like to become a better singer, but chances are it won't be needed anyway.
How big would it be?
There are currently five of us.
What kind of songs would you sing and how might your records be named?
Mostly punk-rock type stuff. At our first (and only) gig (my 21st), we played this.

Any particular record company in mind?
Probably Fearless Records (so we could do Punk Goes Pop stuff), UNFD or Rise Records.
Who would you collaborate with and why?
Really, I'd be happy to collaborate with anyone who is willing to work and make a decent track, and who isn't a douchebag.
Would you produce your own music or rely on external producers?
I have some experience in producing, but nowhere near enough. So I'd get external producers, but have a fair bit of say.
What sort of visual aesthetic would the band drive towards?
Visual Aesthetic? Not sure what that means. If it just means style/image, I'd say just to look like who we are. A bunch of teenagers/twenty-somethings who enjoy playing music.

Like maybe during gigs, y'all might wear costumes or something along a theme or concept idea (usually relevant to the album or the band's philosophies), or like how synth and electronic acts have light shows and laser displays etc. Just how you'd present yourself visually, but I mean, casual works. x3

I am already in a band too.

What would your band be known as?
Our band name is "Out on the Tiles", named after a Led Zeppelin song.

What position would you fill?
I play electric guitar and sing live. I also cover bass for recordings.

How big would it be?
It's just my friend and I. My last band was also a duo.

What kind of songs would you sing and how might your records be named?
We play classic rock songs, and the stuff I write for us is also inspired by recent punk and alternative music.

Any particular record company in mind?
Not really. Fearless Records would be cool, I guess.

Who would you collaborate with and why?
Anything that'll contribute to the sound of our music.

Would you produce your own music or rely on external producers?
I'd start off producing it myself, because I have a decent amount of experience in producing. It'll only get me so far, though.

ive thought about this extensively...

i can never decide on a name and thats fine because it would probably be a horrible tiny garage band that announces themself under a different name every time they play. current runners for Best Name include piss machine and suffer puppet. we wear masks and bizarre costumes for every performance so our identities are obscured. i would play keyboard and/or do vocals. our music is a terrible combination of many genres but i can only hope it would wind up sounding like wompgrass (https://soundcloud.com/lee_turley/wompgrass-preview-mix), edm and folk/bluegrass mashed together in some sort of hellish cacophony. alternatively we are entirely a cover band and we're fine with that, we're just having a good time. we go hard and have approximately 5 fans worldwide, not including our friends and family, who do not approve.

this is my dream

I literally did a story about this for WAR last year. (http://www.pokemoncrossroads.com/forum/showthread.php?6846-WAR-Week-II-Sound-off&p=201302#post201302)

I'd most likely end up on drums or keyboard though, since I get heavy heavy stage fright.

Already closer to reality than you think, just follow the link in my signature...but for now, let's just imagine my ideal band :P

I will name the band Ascension Drive, and I would be a bassist in a 4 or 5 member band. We will play a fusion of core and metal music, but we will also sometimes add some instrumentals. The art style of album covers will either be concept art-driven or those graffiti-like symbols as used in punk rock.
