Food, glorious food, wonderful food! I love Japanese food like a lot; it's probably one of the best cuisines imho. Let's talk about sushi, let's talk about sashimi. Ramen, soba, udon, natto, matcha, you name it, you eat it! :D

I just wanna say that I think I've formed an addiction for mentaiko pasta. <3

Okay I absolutely love udon noodles, they are SO much nicer than regular noodles. I had never tried them until I went to a Japanese restaurant chain with my friends and tried an udon teppanyaki dish. I'm obsessed with them now!! I've also finally learnt how to roll sushi at home so I can have tofu/avocado/vegetable sushi for the rest of my life hallelujah. I'd also like to shout out veggie tempura for being delicious, and mochi for being one of the few cheap desserts I can eat

tbh Japanese isn't that high up on my list of favourite cuisines. There's a lot of seafood based dishes that are just slightly too difficult to alter so I can eat them, and dashi stock is in practically everything :c I'm all about that Malay cuisine at the moment, my best friends are from Malaysia and Indonesia and they've shown me the most beautiful foods!!!

Oh, god, okay. So like. I have a very dear spot in my heart for literally---and I mean literally--- ANYTHING that has to do with Azuka paste.

I REALLY LOVE RED BEAN PASTE SO MUCH. I have some chocolate buns filled with them in my fridge at the moment, and I have an obsession with Azuka Bean ice cream; it's so creamy and rich and my GOD. Funnily enough it's not just a Japanese thing, but also a Korean thing (I've had shaved milk-ice with softened sweet Azuka beans and little mochi balls in them once. So good.) So whenever we make a trip to an Asian grocery market (like Komart or Hmart), we ALWAYS pick something of the nature up.

It doesn't quite taste like chocolate or coffee, but it's very comparable to them. Azuka is sweet, but it's a bit savory too--not overly typical sweet, but think of something like having a fruit-based sauce on some grilled meat; something that just cuts through and melts in your mouth. Ughhh. I'm craaviiinnng.

I haven't actually had a whole lot of Japanese food. I love California rolls, but couldn't get into real sushi with raw fish. I DID have an udon soup a while back and it was really good though. I would love to try some more Japanese food. I just love food in general, and I always like trying food from other cultures.

Do you mean adzuki bean? XD Because I love it as well. I eat anpan (Japanese bread with red bean paste) almost everyday for breakfast and during the Lunar New Year, the only moon cakes I ever touch are adzuki moon cakes. Let's not get me started on daifukus hnnnnnghhhh

Is that what it is spelled?

Shows what happens when you reply on a killer craving and a little late into the night....

No stress. xD Sometimes hunger doth make a person do...unthinkable things.

Back on-track, I just ate shogayaki pork donburi for dinner! It's the first time I ate Japanese pork cooked in this style, since I normally go for tonkatsu. I usually dislike ginger on its own but f---, my tongue had an orgasm. I was so disappointed when I finished the donburi... ;-;

*feels like he's in another world here*

You guys can just insert words that aren't even food items and I wouldn't be able to tell. I've had...sushi? Yeah. Rolls and raw ones. Love both. And not too big on seaweed.
