  1. I want him to be pretty involved. Writing with other people is all the fun of RP afterall.
  2. honestly? You're not the only person we've been waiting to see a post from, and I think that's been a common thread for at least one other person. XD And really, that kinda depends on how much into this mess you want him to be.
  3. I still intend to post in RC, but I all of my free time has been interrupted by Sw/Sh. Let me know if there’s any way in particular you’d like to see Vincent involved.
  4. Lol, the random encounters are really the only way to grind outside of missions, so you kinda need them, they're just a pain when you're trying to get somewhere fast...but I think there are consumable items in game that decrease them if you want.
  5. Details you'd think they'd fix. How hard could it be for their team to cut down on random encounters?
  6. Lol, you can tell Type 0 was originally made for the PSP because of how the map was done--lots of space, tiny town models until you walk into them, annoying amounts of random encounters.
  7. I would add having a really big map to explore to the list. Sometimes the recent games feel so linear.
  8. I just prefer handhelds--it was $100 on PSP at it's original release. Imported copies were still $45-$50 last I checked, and I really don't feel like the HD is really HD, they completely ignored the fact that normal maps exist when they could have made their finer details look better (and because I'm prolly confusing you, normal maps are these neat images that give the look of 3D geometry where there is just a flat surface). Sure, it looks nice on a bigger screen, but that's kind of a given. Heck, their models still occasionally display blocky fingers. As for playing on Xbox...I never liked the system to begin with. The controller is too clunky for me, and the button layout seems really weird.

And that depends on what you consider as "feeling like FF". To me it does. To a lot of others, it doesn't. For me, FF is the standard spells and Moogles and summons, and those are all there. For others, it's turn-based battle and specific summons. It's definitely not turn based, and those summons have changed (let's not even TALK about Shiva), and so they don't think it feels like FF.
  9. I'd have played it on PSP too for price. I think they try to oversell the HD. Only reason I buy remakes is for new content or if I don't have the original console. It'd be sooo weird playing a FF on Xbox but getting to play it is what counts, especially for free.

Does it still feel like FF? Every time I watch the trailers I think, "This is a far cry from FF." That's still okay, though. Dissidia doesn't feel like FF but I still enjoy it.
  10. I actually got the collector's edition for my birthday. XD I've barely gotten to play it because work/school/life...and I've got it on Xbox One, which I'm disliking more and more, but beggars can't be choosers, I guess. I'd have it for PSP (not Vita, PSP) if I could, but seeing as Square saw fit not to bring it out inthe US when PSP was still a thing...

So yeah, I'm not very far in (Chapter 3, I think), and it's decent so far. It likes to punch you in the feels repeatedly (FIRST FIVE MINUTES, UGH) and not every playable character is for everyone. You'll likely discover your favorites quickly, but they make it easy to grind up the guys you don't like, too. Personally, I feel they could have done more to make it "HD," but that's mostly my game artist mind screaming "Why are there no normal maps???"
