Like I said, I can do a lot to help catch up. Quite frankly, the way we're doing it, we've introduced a class-up system alongside levels (because levels are gained at quite a pace). In short: Hit level 9999 (which, though not THAT easy, isn't terrifically hard in this case considering you're in battles with things well beyond your level and class range), and that means you've got max level for a class and can do anything the class possibly can, so you class-up into something else, restarting at level 1 but keeping ALL the stats AND the abilities, so it's strictly a benefit. The effect of these class-ups early on is much more pronounced than the late game, allowing you to make your desired build early on, with later classes trying to cover bases. There are also certain classes given as rewards that grant powerful abilities and stat boosts. This doesn't even count the crazy L00T Tazz has got to give you, which will help immensely (and also doesn't require Level-scaling, so you CAN take that sweet, Legendary bow'n'arrow immediately), or even just using plain intelligence to find enemy weaknesses.

Yeah, sounds like something out of an MMO, and it's kind of styled like that as well. Intentionally.

...I can, of course, help quite a bit if you feel you need it. I've got a lot of powerups pre-established and ripe for the using. Don't worry (excessively).

Most of the cast makes the stuff that goes on in DragonBall Z look pathetic. This isn't much of a joke, either-the canonically weakest character in the party thus far (Sivelos) created a whole new chunk of reality with his powers, with legitimate pasts and presents, and if only through sheer power, clearly outdoes the likes of Nightmare and Dark Mind by the FLYING mile. The weakest character, yes.

I drew inspiration from Disgaea, if you're wondering. Disgaea on steroids.

In short: Tazz and Silvy are going around trying to stop the Ragnak (bad guys) from blowing up Armageddon. If you want more details...Simply put, Tazz and Silvy (and a whole lot of Trolls of Homestuck Fame) are going around, entering new Superdimensions, in order to seek out Elder Souls, who are powerful entites who SHOULD have lived to an incredibly old while and have accumulated a LOT of power as a result. For some reason, a lot of them are cropping up without explamation, to say nothing of the fact that they've all died a long while ago (barring a few here and there who actually DID live that long), and are henceforth NOT supposed to be Elder Souls. Finding that out is important. Tazz and Silvy are also hired by the Black, the Oblivion Lord and one of the Elder Souls who really DID live that long, to specifically kill the Ragnak (because the Black can't be bothered himself) whist the Ragnak attempt to kill the Black. If the Black dies (and has his Soul Destroyed as well), GG. In order to do this, the Ragnak first need to breach the Voidial Drydocks where the Black resides...Which isn't exactly easy.
