I've never played DnD before, but I do enjoy all of the wacky stuff that can happen in it. I think I have a bit of a basic understanding of the mechanics from following a tumblr called yourplayersaidwhat and watching youtube videos from, for example, puffin forest, then researching terms I heard but didn't understand from those sources. I do think that if I were to get into this, I would definitely need to be in the Alpha Thread to make sure I have my grasp on these things as firm as I think I do.
