Monster House! Run!
Monster House! Run!
How convenient that a pack of dark/steel/fire/rock types walks up to a team including two fighting types and a ground type.
...Ignoring how there's still more. Cue that Monster House Music.

BEHOLD THEM AND DESPAIR!!
GUITAR WARROIR! medeleymedeleymedeleyMOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
Maybe if you ask them kindly, they'll give it back? No? Dah...
See if Charlie has a bazooka in there. Or chili peppers. Or maybe banana cream pies? Perhaps a Chinese finger trap to thwart their nefarious ways?
Well, in the worst case, the best defense is, quite frankly, running away. XD
Well maybe they're like any normal AI and won't use the orbs. AI never use the orbs. Perhaps they won't use it against them and take all their things. Maybe now is a good time to use that cheap Escape Orb?
The time is upon us...

To be fair to Anna, it's not like it has a switch XD
seriously, though, just HOW would orbs be activated in a non-videogame setting ? XD
XDDD Your comments are always so funny to imagine in these situations.
Nah, the ferals don't know how to use the orbs. Perhaps, we shall see.
Haha, I have a page upcoming that sort of shows my interpretation of it. Sometimes it's kinda hard to come up with ways where the game mechanics make sense in a comic setting. That's why I did away with the whole 'teleporting out of the dungeon with badge' thing. Not that they have a badge, but you know. xD
I feel ya. When it comes to game adaptations, the logic of the mechanics is probably the trickiest part: I've seen a lot of fanfics and webcomics that really struggle with this, to the point where a few don't even bother to do ANY alterations, which sadly often results in either my willing suspension of disbelief being destroyed or killing any suspense or stakes that the story might have otherwise had (the teleporting badges are especially big offenders here, so MAJOR props to you for doing away with them)
Yeah, it can definitely get tricky. I'm also writing a PMD fanfiction (don't have anything posted of it yet, but I'm working on it) and figuring that out has definitely been tricky. Like how the "floors" or "walls" of a dungeon work in a place that's not a cave, such as a forest or field. I hope what I came up with in the story makes sense. xD
