Good evening, folks! Welcome one and all to the seventh annual WarThirst Guild Wars! It is officially time for this internationally acclaimed event to start once again! Today we will be selected which members of which guilds will be participating in this year’s event! As always, we have put all the names of the guild members on a wheel and let chance decide who the tributes are!

So, without further ado, the first wheel! You know them as the guild that all Avians want to join, The Birds of the Diamond Flock! Last Guild Wars, they produced the victor, so we have high hopes for them. Who will be their tribute this year? Will it be their Champion ranked member, Passion Phoenix? Or maybe the weapons smith, Instinct Ifrit? Only a spin will tell, so without further ado, here we go! Look at that wheel spin, oh but it is slowing! And who will it be? Oh well this is a twist! It appears the newest member of the guild, the Scribe, Mystic Mockingbird, is this year’s tribute! Well best of luck to you, Mystic Mockingbird!

On to our second wheel! Also in first place last Guild Wars, it is the guild all about science and magic, The Province Militia! They lost a lot of good members during the wait for the next Guild Wars, but not to worry because plenty new ones came in to replace them! So now the question is, which alchemist will be serving their guild proudly this year? Here we go! Around and around the wheel spins, where will it land? That is the question! And as the wheel slows we see that this year’s alchemist is… TheRainbowRussian, better known as The Reflection Alchemist! This will be an interesting choice, indeed, because it is a well known fact that this little guy cannot fight without his partner, The AirTwister Alchemist! So, how will he fair without his partner? We’ll just have to wait and see, now won’t we?

Our third wheel today represents the guild best known for holding the record of being burned at the stake the most, and is also one of the two guilds that came in second place last year, The Crimson Script! Filled to the brim with Witches and Warlocks, who will be selected this year to help redeem their guild from the close defeat last year! Only one way to find out! Spin wheel! Look at it go! And as it slows, we will know that… Aphrodite’s Seer is this year’s witch ready for battle! We wish The Witch of Aces the best of luck, and warn her opponents that she is known for her ruthlessness in battle, so watch out!

Our fourth wheel today represents all the moon howlers in the room! You know them for their three way rivalry with The Virus Rout and The Sentinels, The Rezinkis! Last year, their previous Alpha Wolf placed second in the Guild Wars event, and was subsequently overthrown for the shame! Now, with a new Alpha and Heir in place, will they fair better this time around? Only a spin can let us know, so let’s go! The wheel is spinning particularly fast this time around, but you can see it is already starting to slow, and who has been chosen to fight this Guild Wars? Oh what a plot twist, it is the Heir, user Sinful Were! With such a high ranking in the pack, it appears Sinful Were cannot afford to lose, lest he risk being overthrown as the Heir!

Our fifth wheel today represents the most highly anticipated choice of this Guild Wars season! Best known for having won the second through fifth Guild Wars, this guild only placed third last year due to an unfortunate event involving a garbage truck and a department store. However, that does not mean they have not returned this year with determination to reclaim their rightful place as rulers! It’s The Immortals of Passing! And so, which deity of death will be gracing us this year? As I spin the wheel, let us see! Around and around the names will go, and here it stops, letting us know! It is… oh my what a twist, ladies and gentlemen! What better way to start your climb back to the top than to have your Guildmaster serve as your tribute in the Guild Wars! This year’s Guild Wars selection is the Ruler of Death himself, the Bloodless Reaper!

Our sixth wheel today our other third place winner, and possibly the reason The Immortals of Passing lost last year, the half breed guild, Bivouac Amalgam! Filled to the brim with children of gods and demons, who will be serving as their lethal warrior this year! You know the drill, so let’s find out! As the wheel spins, you can see the different gods and goddesses that just prove the lethality of this guild in the virtual world, but can they hold up in the real world? Well, we’ll just have to find out if Peace Demon, child of Leviathan, can hold up under the pressures from last year’s failure and this year’s challenges! Don’t make it too easy for him, folks!

Time for a little magic, folks, as we approach our seventh wheel! They placed fourth place in our last round of Guild Wars, but we believe they have the spell for victory this time around! It’s The Marshal Shako! Barely losing to the third place teams last year, we know The Marshal Shako won’t be so easily lost this year around, but who will be representing them this time? Only the wheel can let us know so let us spin! Will the only witch in the guild be the tribute this year? Or will we have another wizard, like last year? Well the wheel has stopped so let us see, oh what a surprise! It appears Rockstar Vampire Embracer is getting another go at the Guild Wars this time too. Maybe he won’t screw up like last year.

And now for a little madness to brighten all our days! The beloved guild of mad hatters that placed fourth last year, Le Cirque de la Folie! It seems that last year’s Guild Wars wasn’t exactly their cup of tea, but I wouldn’t put it past these tricksters to have some sort of plan in place for this year. So now it is time to find out which act will be making their debut this year! Around and around the wheel goes, mimicking the eyes of the audience for Le Cirque de la Folie’s shows! And the arrow has landed on Madness in the Moonlight! Well well well, it seems the Illusionist has decided to make his appearance, but is the man behind his tricks as clever as he appears?

Yo ho ho, pass out the bottles of rum, it’s time to set sail on the ninth sea as we welcome the scurviest of dogs and blackest of beards. It’s the masters of the seas, The Panama Raiders! Last year they did not fair too well, only making it to fifth place due to a misunderstanding of a dare that resulted in somewhat disastrous consequences for both parties involved. But if we know The Panama Raiders, then we know they aren’t going to give up so easily this time around! After all, they won the first Guild Wars, so what’s to stop them from the seventh? So, without a further ado, let’s get this party started and spin this wheel! Around it goes, selecting the next member of our mighty crew. Which pirate will be the one venturing into the arena this time? Oh my, it seems we have an unexpected turn of events, ladies and gentlemen! The Immortals of Passing won’t be the only ones with their best player on the field of battle, but the Captain of The Panama Raiders, Queen Raider Marinosa, will also be joining the fight! I already have high hopes, with two returning candidates to the Guild Wars, one returning victor, and two guildmasters, the seventh annual Guild Wars can only be the best we’ve ever had!

The tenth wheel today holds the bitter rivals of the Immortals of Passing, The Dynasty Defenders! These samurais are silent but swift and powerful. They, too, placed fifth last games, due to a dare that resulted in some dire consequences for the guild. Nevertheless, The Dynasty Defenders have been cleared for this year’s games, and so we welcome the honorable samurais back to the battlefield! Now, it is time to see which of their powerful warriors will be stepping forward to fight on their behalf. As we spin the wheel, you can see some of the most famous players from the PvP section of WarThirst, including YesIamTheJenkins and The Whip of Forestry! But the question remains, are they as skilled in the real world as they are online! Well it appears this question will be answered by none other The White Knight! Known as Warrior Wang to his comrades. The White Knight is best known for taking down the Immortals of Passing’s guildmaster during the last PvP tournament, but will he fare so well in a real world competition?

Is the wheel changing shape or is the world around us morphing? All is possible as we approach the eleventh wheel of today, hosting the shapeshifter’s guild, The Sentinels! Last year, they placed sixth due to their partner guild being disqualified for cheating. It was a sad year for The Sentinels, as they usually place in the top three. Still, this year they have a chance to redeem themselves, and to ensure shapeshifters are not scorned like last year! So as I spin the wheel, let us wonder what soldier will be put forth today! Will the corporal be sent out? Or is one of the Lieutenants going to prove his or her worth? Well it seems neither guess was right, as it is BeingExisting that has been selected! Ranked as a commander in The Sentinels, we can only expect great things from him can’t we!

As we approach the twelfth ring of Hell, you can hear the demons cheering in the audience below. They are excited, folks, because it is time for their representative from The Virus Rout to be selected! They were disqualified last year due to a conspiracy about cheating, but can we expect anything different from a pack of demons? So, let’s see which demon will be rising from the depths of Hell to visit us today! The wheel spins to summon a demon, a sign of satan forming as it spins, and as it slows we can see that Verau Darksword, the demon seer, is what our summoning brings forth! Hopefully they won’t cheat again this year.

So, now that we have our participants selected, it is time to announce the pairs! Now, for the past three months, the polls have been open as to what pairs players would like to see be formed this year! As always, the guild pairings are selected prior to the reveal of the participants, so as to keep it fair and a surprise to all! So, going from first to last the pairings are as as follows:
1. The Birds of the Diamond Flock with Le Cirque de la Folie
2. The Immortals of Passing with The Panama Raiders
3. The Province Militia with The Sentinels
4. Bivouac Amalgam with The Rezinkis
5. The Dynasty Defenders with The Crimson Script
6. The Virus Rout with The Marshal Shako
Well folks, it seems like this year’s selections are going to prove deathly, especially with our second pairing! But you never know how this could turn out! That is all for now! Stay tuned as the event will be beginning very soon! Tata!

If you are receiving this message then, congratulations, you, a WarThirst player, have been randomly selected to participate as a Voter in this year’s Guild Wars! This message is to explain the role you will play in the game as well as the rules and regulations that come with it. And of course, the glorious rewards you will receive should your team win.

So, let us begin, what is a voter? Well, in Guild Wars there are three roles: Spectator, Voter, and Competitor. A Spectator is a person, player or non-player, that observes Guild Wars, either through its broadcast on television, a livestream online, or some other method. They have no influence on the game unless they live within the city that has been chosen to host the event each year. Spectators merely watch the game unfold, sometimes even placing bets on the results of the game. Las Vegas always has large amounts of activity in the weeks leading up to the event.

A Voter, which is what you are, is a person who plays WarThrist. Whether you are in a guild or not does not matter, as long as you have had consistent activity within the past year, you are eligible to be selected as a Voter. How Voters are selected is a bit meticulous to explain, but for the most part they are randomly selected then reviewed to make sure that they would be great candidates for Votership. If you are hearing this message, you passed. It means that you received an email with a Voter code that allowed you access to all the perks of being a Voter. If this is not what happened to you, please report this immediately. Due to the nature of the event, it is an international crime to release your Voter code to someone who was not selected. WarThirst takes this very seriously and will prosecute all those who release their codes. And we do mean all. However, if you are not a cheater, then you get the glorious opportunity of suggesting and voting on the dares that Competitors will have to take on. You are each randomly assigned a pair to influence, and if that pair wins, you will randomly receive one of the prices they win as well! This can be anything from rare exclusive gear to real cash! Please be aware though, all prizes are account-locked so if you’re multiaccounting then your prizes won’t be transferrable between the fake and real accounts.

Now, I bet you’re wondering who your pair is. Look no further! Voter, you have been assigned…

Pair #1: Madness in the Moonlight and Mystic Mockingbird

My my, you’ve got the interesting combo. The second in command of Le Cirque de la Folie and the newest member of the Birds of the Diamond Flock. Now that you know your players, it is time to reveal the setting of this year’s Guild Wars. As we speak, evacuation notices are being sent out to all the inhabitants of New York City. Whether or not they leave, that’s their choice, but just know, if you’re a Voter and you live in the city, interference with the Competitors outside of your virtual means is strictly forbidden.

That’s all for now. Stay tuned, because Guild Wars is about to start.

Thank you to everyone for reading this! Guild Wars is about to start, as the first chapter is already in progress. This is how it’s going to work. You, the reader, are now taking on the role of a Voter and get to make suggestions that your Competitors, Madness in the Moonlight and Mystic Mockingbird, will adhere to. Multiple commands may be used for each chapter, so please feel free to make one or more suggestions, just don’t go overboard. There also may be times where a choice will be left for you to vote on. This is a user driven story so the story cannot progress without your participation! Thank you for taking the time to read this, the first chapter will be up soon (hopefully), and I hope to see you back here really soon! Also check out the bloopers below. They’re some of the bloops I made while recording. Not all of them because I didn’t think of keeping them until later but here’s some!

ALSO YOU ARE ALLOWED TO ASK THE CHARACTERS QUESTIONS. THEY WILL ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE REGARDING THE STORY UNLESS IT INVOLVES SPOILERS.
