Your Top Ten

Now that Sun and Moon are out, it's time to update our top ten lists! Have any other Pokemon taken your heart and replaced a member of your top ten? Did any Alolan Pokemon make the cut?

I thought about my top ten while editing my signature, which used to be my X and Y team plus Mega Mawile and Mega Diancie, as well as my Alola team, plus Komala and Magearna. I decided to rework my signature because I didn't think Komala was very fitting, and I couldn't find any other Alolan Pokemon that I really liked and wanted in my signature (that is to say, I didn't think any Alolan Pokemon struck me like Mega Mawile and Mega Diancie, bar Magearna). Thread inspiration aside, my top ten is now in my signature - Delphox, Sylveon, Mega Diancie, Primarina, Alolan Ninetales, Mega Mawile, Tsareena, Goodra, Ribombee, and Mega Lopunny.

I can't honestly say any of the Gen 7 Pokémon have bumped their way into my top 10. There are some good ones in Gen 7, but I haven't seen any that really had overwhelming wow factor to me.

6. Lugia
7. Lopunny
8. Umbreon
9. Ninetales
10. Furret

In essence, I love Pokémon that can blend cute and cool together with awesomeness and I love Pokémon that have fun and optimistic personalities. Stats and competitive battling nonsense can go chew a raw cactus for all I care.

2. Meloetta
3. Dragonair
4. Articuno
5. Lucario
6. Ninetales (both the normal and the Alolan varieties)
7. Diancie
8. Tsareena
9. Oricorio
10. Talonflame

I like Pokemon that are both beautiful and powerful, competitive play be darned (although Pikachu has a place in my heart because he was the first Pokemon I ever knew)

Come to think of it, I don't have any Gen 6 Pokemon on my list either. :x

I won't deny that there are plenty of good Gen 6 Pokemon out there, but just not good enough to make my list, though.

It's hard for me to pick a top ten because I like three pokemon more than any other pokemon, then I've just got a bunch of favourites. XD Anyway, I'll give it a go:

Admittedly, Oricorio only makes the list because of my cockatiel. Honourable mentions go to tropius, miltank, houndoom, ampharos, quagsire, sneasel, ninetales, scyther, tyrantrum, and a bunch more. XD
