NobleJanobii's Red Rescue Team Runthrough

All right let's see if I'm more successful in completing this than I was with the platinum nuzlocke.

Red Rescue Team is one of the few pokémon games that I have never played, and I now intend to change that. Granted, I'm playing it on an emulator (I'll buy the real thing one day), but it counts for now!

I hope to start playing the official game soon, but for now, here are the rules:
1. If the partner or player dies, it's game over. No reviver seeds can be used.
1a. Dojo deaths don't count.
2. You may only recruit the first pokemon that offers recruitment in a dungeon. If they die before you can officially escape the dungeon, then you're SOL on that dungeon.
3. Scripted recruits are allowed.
4. Wondermail may be used, but never for recruits.
5. Plusle Minun Clause on.
6. Dupes clause on.

I'll be doing the personality quiz soon, and I hope to get a pokémon I've never used before. You guys can make your guess as to what pokémon I'll get below, and whoever is correct will get to be my partner this time!

I'll have to look at the personality results for the game again, but for now I'm gonna guess it'll pick you as a Charmander.

Blue/Red Rescue Team is great! I loved it, though be careful and train often as you can. If you'd like advice or tips I can give you some without spoilers. Good luck and can't wait to see!

Oh psh don't take me for some noob. Blue Rescue Team was my first Pokémon game remember? I just never played red rescue team so I thought now is a good time.

The results can be all the starters through Hoenn, Pikachu, Eevee, Cubone, Skitty, Machop, Psyduck, Munchlax, and Meowth but I believe certain ones are gender exclusive.

Oh no xD I know you're no noob. It's just advice cause the first games have some good differences. Which Explorers fixed.

Yeah I remembered there were exclusives to genders. I think Eevee and Skitty is female exclusive as Machop and Cubone are male exclusive. If I remember right. I think the others are available to both genders.

Well I made it through one PMD game with that rule! I just have to hope for the best on this one.

Machop, Meowth, and Cyndaquil are male exclusive. Eevee, Skitty, and Chikorita are female exclusive. And munchlax is not a starter.

Yeah I know. I was going off the list you posted and what I knew off the top of my head. Not necessarily for this game. Each game just has their differences with gender exclusives. Except later games which still sucks.

Recruitment is t too different, but at times it can be harder is all. Not too difficult through story.

Yeah I went and looked it up. I know they made all the starters and Pikachu gender neutral in future games. Either way I hope I get something new.

Yeah and I remember escort missions were pains in the butt. I might use wondermail if missions that require certain reward prerequisites end up getting placed on escort missions.

Hahaha as much as I'd love to, my computer just can't handle doing lets plays. Maybe I'll do short little things here and there for you guys though.
