In a different language

My French is really rusty. I've tried and learning foreign languages is a tough gig for me.

I've looked at other sites in different languages, and while I can sometimes figure out some of the words, it's just not enough for me to work my way around.

The reason it's so hard I think is because we don't have anyone to practice with.

I've been trying to pick up some German again. I did it for a few years in high school but I'm super rusty now. xD Duolingo is a great app to practice with. I think it also helps if you watch TV shows in that language.

The only language I didn't care for was Spanish because it seemed like everyone took it. And they always said that Spanish was the easiest.

I have had zero exposure to Spanish. xD The languages offered here were German, Italian and Indonesian. And I know some schools that did Chinese as well. I guess that makes sense as they're nearby countries to us, and there were a LOT of Italian migrants back in the day. Not sure about German. xD

We had French, German and Spanish in high school and I took German. I know when I worked at the elementary school they taught Chinese.
