Oops! Forgot to post the first update of the rerun.

Here's the first six Pokemon I caught, for the rival fight I forgot about in the first run. Was quite happy to get a Mankey, considering the Steelix at Brock's gym. Note I picked Totodile this time, which turned out to be good since I encountered Chikorita again. And Hailey's back.


Aaaand the rival fight I forgot about. Here we go!


...I was dumb and forgot to screenshot his Pokemon, but they were just a Hoothoot and Bulbasaur, both Level 9 IIRC. My team wasn't really hit hard, as you can see.

A gift from Arceus at Viridian Forest. ViceGrip made training Pauline incredibly easy.


Sadly, Pauline was my seventh Pokemon, so one had to go temporarily. Sorry, Remy. :[


Caught a Hippopotas on Route 3. Hank was a pain to train without any offensive STAB moves, but I have a feeling he'll be quite useful later.


Which also means I had to replace Athena with him. D:


Had a SUPER close call when a Munchlax used Metronome, resulting in Explosion. My heart literally skipped a beat when I saw that. I'm just glad you're still around, Clover.


Taking NO chances for Brock this time around. This is why I took so long for this update.


Here we go! I picked Wilbur for Steelix, since he has Low Kick.


WILBUR OHKOING STEELIX. YOU BEAST!


But then this. Rampardos. I knew if Rampardos got a hit in, it might be goodbye for one of my team members.


But Wilbur continues to come in clutch. Wilbur's first hit left Rampardos under half health. Rampardos proceeded to use Calm Mind, followed by pointless Potions by Brock that did nothing due to Rampardos being level 19 and haviing high health. Take that, Extremely Fire dev!


Wow Brock. Only you could defeat a legendary Grass type with two Rock types. But Regirock at Mt. Moon? :o

Congratulations on this rerun, @Bulbasaur! :) I really like your team, especially Clover. It's hard to "Bayleef" that he survived the Explosion! xD

I decided to take a risk.

I tried to get Hailey to widdle down a good amount of Paras' health, and that's how far she got. I'm sorry Hailey, you were great.


Pauline finished off Paras number one. Yes, number one.
Sadly, she got poisoned, though.


Brought in Hank for the same purpose as Hailey. Paras had no offensive grass moves, so I thought it should be fine.


Hank actually did pretty well, but he was no match for a Level 31. RIP...


Wilbur finished Paras number two off. One more mon!


Yup. Parasect. Awesome...
Clover's gone too. :[


And Pauline. This one hurt bad, because I thought Pauline would be extremely helpful in the future.


Thankfully, Wilbur just barely took out Parasect. Note to self: don't fight trainers in sketchy spots.


While training Spruce, had a close call with Metronome from a Munchlax. It ended up used Water Spout.


In Mt. Moon, caught a Grotle! So that's cool.

And Athena, who is back on my team!


And Remy, who is also back!




Some cool mons that were in Mt. Moon. Monferno and Aron might've been nice to have early game, but oh well.


O.O This was in a trainer battle, IIRC. Luckily it was Level 11, so it was an easy KO.


...A random hole that I can walk over?

At the end of Mt. Moon, look who it is! Giovanni! With some friends...


This might've been a crazy battle if Brock had regular levelled Pokemon, but he didn't, so it was fairly easy.


Good.


I mean consider I just beat the boss...


Forgot to take screenshots of it, but talking to Regirock initiated another trainer battle with Giovanni, except with just Regirock.


Celebi did the same thing. Man, Giovanni is angry.


Talked to Celebi again yielded an interesting message... I think Celebi is possessed. Also, "But Celebi" is now a meme among my friends.


Same deal with Regirock.
