I was also gonna say, Neo--the concept of your plot and magic being outlawed and all that reminds me of a book I've read recently: The Orphan Queen. There was this central kingdom that conquered those surrounding it, and forced them to enact anti-magic policies. It was for good reason, though, because in that book using magic caused this really dangerous fallout, of sorts. Magical pollution that caused nature to go out of whack. You seem to have similar situations occurring here, but I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take this idea x3

Sounds like an interesting concept, but yeah, it was just a coincidence, as I've never read that book.

Also, I'm about halfway done with the map. Just got a little tired midway and needed a break, but it's getting there.
