    Roleplay Stage Rules

Hello everyone! The rules listed below are specific to the Roleplay Stage. With that said, they will be strictly enforced. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to VM or PM an RP mod or any staff member. (:

    1. All PXR rules will be enforced. This is in addition to the ones below. The PXR rules are the master rules, and as such, they should be followed just like these should be. The PXR rules can be found by clicking here.

**While their may be no use of foul language towards other members of the boards, swearing in story context that does not bypass the filter and that does not insult any other member may be allowed if not used in blatant misuse. Please remember to check the RP's personal rules as well!

    2. No god modding. If you don't already know, god modding is when you take control of someone else's character without their permission. Not only is it against the rules, but it's rude. So don't do it. Simple as that.

    3. Keep things PG-13. Really, we don't want to see some smut scene with your character and your best friend's character. It's disgusting. Kissing and hugging here and there is okay, but if it's in every post, that's crossing the line. There's a nice line between PG-13 relationships, and R rated relationships. Don't cross it. This includes the subject of making characters. Don't be making rather revealing characters where body parts are showing too much, make the subject or theme of said character about anything inappropriate or any above PG 13 material. Be reasonable and think of others who made read your posts! Any time you may be unsure, put things in spoiler tags and ask a mod!

** If you are creating a role play where an aspect of it may be above the PG-13 rating, please PM NobleJanobii about confirming that your RP is okay for the boards.

    4. Post in the appropriate section. If you're just starting your RP and you want other people to sign their characters up and join in the fun, you'll want to make a thread in the Sign Ups board; sign up threads can double as OOC, out of character, threads. Once you're ready to dive into the action, you can make a thread here and get started!

    5. Give enough of a reply for others in the RP to reply to. One worded replies aren't going to cut it in most, if not all, RPs. A good recommendation is to post at least 5 sentences for a reply, but less is fine as long as someone can reply to it. RPs die off pretty quickly if the others in the game have no idea how to respond to your post. This also includes giving people enough time to reply to things. Rapid fire posting after everyone just to get ahead of another player is incredibly frowned upon and not fair to others. At least wait a reasonable amount of time for another player to post so that everyone can have a fair and fun environment to play in.

    6. Have fun! This is more of a recommendation than a rule, but have fun! This section is all about having fun and making new friends! (:

    7. Please respect everyone! Remember to read these rules, and the rules set in the RP creator's thread. Respect goes a long way and we can't all have fun if we aren't all enjoying ourselves now are we? If you have a problem that needs fixing, please let an appropriate RP Mod know.

Any violation or concerns brought up by other staff will be investigated and the RP staff will edit anything necessary if the rules are broken. Repeated offenses will lead to the consequence of warnings and or infractions depending on the severity of the issue. We don't want to warn or ban anyone from here though, so don't be that guy. D=

Again, if you have any comments, questions, or concerns, ask the current moderator of this section or any other staff member if the RP mod is unavailable.
