Horrifying "realistic" pictures of Pokemon

Arrow, you're a master at finding great examples of realism done right! *0* They all look like ACTUAL pokemon but with realistic textures and such. Sooo much better than the horror shows. xD

It's a shame people just take to tracing real life animals and add colours and features. That should be called "wacky animal pokemon" more so than "realistic pokemon." xD

Ah, now I see it and JESUS CHRIST WHAT IS THAT?! I mean, I know Pinsir is one of the less cute Bug-types in the game but come on! I doubt it's look anywhere that hideous! Why does it have four eyes? Why does it barely look like a bug at all?

Now THOSE are well done! I love that arcanine looks like, you know, a canine, but with elements that still make it ARCANINE. The others are really awesome too.

It's a shame about the bug types though. If I had that kind of skill I'd definitely do it myself. Oh well, maybe someday.

IT'S COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE, THAT'S WHAT. All questions I, too, would like to know the answer to... Omg I just had an idea. xD What if this thread became the nightmare mirror of Daily Pokemon Opinions. XD Whatever pokemon you post, I post a horrifying rendition of it. (I'm definitely kidding but also 13% considering it.)

Except these aren't actually scary, they're just plain repulsive. Also, Pokemon are supposed to be friendly monsters, and many creatures are clearly intended and based on cute and/or pleasant creatures. I get that there are some Pokemon designs such as Lickitung or Mr. Mime that aren't going to look so nice in a realistic take, but when that treatment is extended to Pokemon like Pikachu, Marill or Eevee, which are SUPPOSED to be cute is when a line should be drawn.
