I'd say Mr Mime as well, but Garbador for sure. Drudgeon as well actually. Not a big fan of any of those.

None of them! The franchise wouldn't be the same without any of them. Mr. Mime had that fantastic scene in Detective Pikachu, Garbodor is the mascot for a fun showdown channel I like to watch, and Druddigon is one of the few shinies to appear in the anime to name a few examples.

You're right, though, all Pokemon do have their own significance to the franchise in one way or another.
None. Even ones like Gothita, Scraggy and Throh that I loath the designs of have a valid reason gameplay wise, and even though I personally don't like a pokemon doesn't mean that no-one else would, and I wouldn't want to remove anyone's favourite pokemon for such a petty reason.

Certain Mega Evolutions, namely the ones given to Legendaries and pseudo-legendaries, as I feel they didn't need them. Megas given to weaker Pokemon that actually needed a boost (Mawile, Altaria, Beedrill, etc.) can stay, though. I don't think I'd want to wipe out any actual species, though.

You all have a point though, one of the biggest and best charms of Pokemon is there's one for everyone no matter who you are or what your personality is like.
