    Exploring took priority.

Somehow yo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪu really got that urge to see that s͖̩̯̀̇ḙ̃̔̏̚v̠̥̣͓̣̐͂̔́ͨ̄ͥͅe͕̪̺̘̻ͧ͑̍r͕̳̈́ͮ͋͐ͦ̿̇e͚͎͊͑ ̮ḓ̳͖͍̭̘͍ ͦ̾ͮ̈́̀́h̗̝̓̔e̯̯͒ͬͭa̦ͣͪ̓d̻, but first, you waddle your en̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅormously obese self off to the mall like a lot of obe̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪse people do, but you’re here to buy magazines, not wolf down three dozen Mrs. Fields cookies and top that off with six boxes of Cinnabo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪns. I’m sure they’re all missing life before COVID-19, aren̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅ’t they? Nico used $100 Sochas to purchase the [“Codecracker” Magazine]

You stuff it in your pack like it has a voracious appetite of its own̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅ and then decide to use the re̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪst of the morning to check out the Police Precinct, because Rali mentioned something about d͍͔̭̩̒̽̒̎͒ḛ̬͎͕͔ͫ͑͒̅͒c̥͖̫͍̓̿ͥ̓̈́́̇ầ̩̻̲p̭̺̭̫̼̼̎̎͗̿ i̞̙̮̺̞̍ͯ̈́͊ͮ͗ͫt̪̹̟͍̫̟ͮͧ̾ͦ͊͛ͅa̎̑ṱ̓e̪̮͉̗̖͙͊̎ͧd̹̬ͭͬ́͒ ̪ ̖̗̙͍̤͊ͧh͈͊̈͑ͨe̼̤̱̜͇̍͊ͪ͂͐ͅȁ̺̖̼̟͖̳̆ͬd̅s͖̣̮̃͗͊ͦ̐ ͎͇ and you’re so into those right now.

You then waddle̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪ your way into the No̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪrthern Reach, getting really excited about heading there like it’s Disney World and you get a bit careless. Just so happens on the way to the pre̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪcinct, they thought someone rang the bell for lunch and you were the main co̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪurse.

Turns o̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪut this Weedle̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪ and Sudowoodo… yeah, they’re not here to sing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

Vru the Ghoul Weedle, Size: Small, Type: / , HP: 12, Dodge Rate: 40%, Attack Roll: 1d8, Speed: 50
Luran the Ghoul Sudowoodo, Size: Medium, Type: , HP: 15, Dodge Rate: 30%, Attack Roll: 1d10, Speed: 30

    Attack Order:

    #1 Vru the Ghoul Weedle
#2 Nico the Snorlax (won coin flip)
    #3 Luran the Ghoul Sudowoodo

It’s almost hilario̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪus how s̙̩̣̝̪̈̑ͫl̋ͪ̎̄ͮo͓͔̘̺̜ͩ̊̔͆̓w̻̭̺̭͓̩ͩͨ͐͐ everyone is. It’s like The Matrix but bulle̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪt time n̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅever turns off.

    Fight!

You watch in horror as Vru just le̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪaps at you, hun̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅgered and crazy! It’s like he’s freaking rabid and smo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪked too much crack!

Vru strikes at Nico̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪ! Rolls 23! Hit for 5!
    Nico: 19HP

You tried to dodge and forgo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪt you’re a Snorlax. Hitting you is as easy as getting fat. And he enjoys many delicious nibble̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪs out of you. Since trying to attack Luran when he̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪ’s a freaking rock would be harder, you decide to murder Vru in̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅstead, because he’s much squishier! And uglie̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪr.

Nico strikes at Vru! Rolls 18! Miss!
    Vru: 12HP

And you o̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪnly stab air. The air takes 11 damage̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪ! While you whiff, Luran takes a swing at you!

Luran strikes at Nico! Rolls 22! Hit for 1!
    Nico: 18HP

He hits, but he whacks yo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪu like a drunk and you’re̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪ so fat you barely even feel it. It’s almost a love tap! Meanwhile, his in̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅsane Weedle friend tries to jump at yo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪur belly and take a big bite out of it trying to get to the creamy center!

Vru strikes at Nico! Rolls 13! Miss!
    Nico: 18HP

He’s probably drunk like Ho-oh’s wait… ho̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪly laughing rats, he’s changing his name again? AD’s guardian angel. He totally misse̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪs. For his idiocy, you try to stab him in̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅ the head and bisect it to see ho̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪw big of a brain he has!

    Nico strikes at Vru! Rolls 38! Hit for 3 + 3 = 6!
    Vru: 6HP

You only cut off his tail in̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅstead. I me̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪan really, just sit on him for crying out loud! That would be like 3,401 damage! Loo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪk, I get stabbing things is fun and I know from experience, but you’re getting eaten alive here!

Oh, and while you’re busy with that, Luran̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅ jumps onto your back and starts eating you up like a really genero̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪus snack!

Luran strikes at Nico! Rolls 72! Hit for 9!
    Nico: 9HP

Wow, that’s gotta hurt! It feels very pińata like̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪ and turn̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅs out your innards are just as tasty as candy to them! Yo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪu try to shake him off to no avail, but then Vru goes after you! He absolutely refuses to let Luran ruin̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅ his diet all by himself!

Vru strikes at Nico! Rolls 56! Hit for 4!
    Nico: 5HP

Uh oh, he thin̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅks you’re delicious, also! You watch in horror as chunks of yourse̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪlf are all over his face! Hey, Nico̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪ, buddy, you seem to be le̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪaking!

[Ferocious Stance Flee Triggered] Nico has fallen below 25% HP and is no̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪw attempting to Flee the battle!

Yeah, you decide it’s high time to get the h͚̣ͬ͂̄̋̋͌e̯͈̲͍ͭ̋̑l̯̖̹ḽ̗̬͍̬̠͚̆ͨͬ̔̑̚ out of here. Seve̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪred heads, as amazing as they are, are some̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪthing that can wait, right? Yo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪu try to shake them off and run… or at least waddle away very fast!

Nico attempts to Flee the battle! Rolls 66! Couldn’t escape!
    Nico: 5HP

…Uh, yeah, it’s no̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪt fast. You don’t eve̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪn get the chance to shake them off! Luran takes another big bite̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪ out of your jugular vein an̰͎͖̲̯̯ͅd…

Luran strikes at Nico̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪ! Rolls 98! Hit for 8!
    N͔̜̗͇̙i̝̭͎̮̹̜̖c̲̻̲̪͎o̠̣̹̳̝̗ͅ:̭͔̲͖̳̭ ̠͎-̖̝͓̘3̭̺͖̝̞̠͉H̩͙P

And it turns your ne̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪck into a total blood and guts foun̞̤̞̪͓̪̉͐tain! You kinda feel cold and sleepy! Yeah, maybe a nice nap will do̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪ you well! It’s the othe̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪr thing Snorlax is really good at doin̞̤̞̪͓̪̉͐g!

Except heh heh, this one’s a lot more pro̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪlonged. You tumble to the ground and it’s light out, good night, sleep tight.

Well, these two sure didn’t go̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪ hungry tonight! Turns out they both utterly ruined their diets e̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪven before all the holiday fat everyon̞̤̞̪͓̪̉͐e gets in their inevitable transition to lo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪok more like Santa Claus. The good n̞̤̞̪͓̪̉͐ews is the one who lost we̦͙͓̱̼͒ͩ͌ͪight out of all this… was yo̰̦̫̠͕ͦ͑ͪu!

Ripped from your mortal shell, your soul cuts the link from your body as the OMEN ghouls gather and devour it. But for a moment, you’re at peace, the pain has stopped, and you find yourself floating, quietly, and softly in the darkness. A whisper reaches out to you at that moment, and despite the loss, you are renewed with optimism.

We can still fight, Nico! We have come so far, we won’t give up now. You will find your inner strength and we can do this together! We haven’t lost until we give up and we’ll never give up!

You nod, feeling encouraged and eager to wake up and try again. And when you do, you find yourself reborn anew into a new body. It feels different now, but you feel ready for anything and determined to give it all another shot.

Finally finding a decent and capable crew of Pokémon to work with, you decide to see how you can help them out by heading into the Northern Reach and investigating the Cedarwood Apartments. While deep into the Northern Reach territory, you feel confident about your sneaking ability. And even so, confident in your ability to swipe a ghoul’s head off if you needed to.

It’s a little hotter today than usual, but the wind is cooperating for now. You make the long walk through the deserted Northern Reach to the crumbling Cedarwood Apartments building, which looks like it could collapse quite easily if another earthquake were to happen. Still, you figure if it sounds like the building is coming down, you could easily jump and bail out in time.

You start by searching the exterior, and you find an unlucky Shellos scavenger that looks like they were eaten alive and weren’t able to defend themselves enough from a horde of OMEN ghouls. Still, they left behind a very decent-looking machete. While you feel confident you don’t need it because you’ve got your own claws, you figure the Emissaries might be interested in it.

[|AW| Military Machete] (Adds 4 damage to successful attack rolls) was added to the Team Inventory.

You take it along and get back to seeing if there’s any more goodies lying around.

The outside just seems to mostly have rubble and a lot of broken furniture, so you head inside and take care what you step on. There’s piles of rubble everywhere and a lot of the apartments are buried under heaps of broken concrete. From what you do find, there isn’t too much besides broken furniture, twisted metal, and dirty linens, but you do find one ripped-up mattress that looks like someone used it to hide some of their money. You’re not too surprised to see other scavengers never noticed this hidden stash, but you get plenty of satisfaction from knowing you found what they didn’t.

$255 Sochas$ were added to the Team Inventory.

You’re sure the Emissaries will make good use of that.

On one of the upper floors, you manage to locate a safe that looks to be very badly rusted over. From what you can see, a number of scavengers tried to break this open, but they couldn’t. They only got as far as scratching it and despite the rust, it’s still shut and quite securely locked. You decide to make note of this, figuring the Emissaries might want to look into get this open as it could be loaded with cash and other valuables. You figure attacking it isn’t going to work, it’s pretty strong and despite the rust, still very much intact. But you can discern that first, they’d need to do something about the rust. And then after looking at the safe, not only that, but they’re going to need the actual 3 digit safe combination to turn into the dial.

{Rusted Safe: Rust Remedy AND 3 Digit Safe Combination} was noted in the Team Records.

You search the rest of the surviving apartments, but they’re pretty much trashed and don’t have anything that’s worthwhile. Either scavengers already took all that was worth going after in this place or there’s not much worth to it.

You decide to head back to town, still satisfied with what you got out of this morning.

[Search the (40) Memorial Heart Hospital (ABANDONED)]
This morning, you decide to head deep into the Northern Reach and investigate what might be at the hospital. Having heard Aurorawatch wishes there was some way to secure the building’s location, you decide to check it out for yourself to see if there’s something you can do, though right now, you’re not sure what that might be until you head over there.

There’s some dust wafting about in the air this morning, but it’s definitely not like anything it was the days before. You soar high into the air, looking upon the refuge area from above before crossing into the skies above the Northern Reach.

You soon spot the hospital from above, realizing it’s an n-shaped building with a grayish-tan color. As you descend, you notice the cracks that have already been forming thanks to the earthquakes. After softly landing, you start your investigation by first checking to make sure no ghouls are around, and it seems they’ve either not spotted you or your enormous size may have scared them away. Either way, they’re not in the area, giving you some liberty to look around.

You first start your search going around the exterior of the building, noticing that it’s taken some damage from the earthquakes, but the neglect hasn’t been kind to the building either. There’s dirt and dust caked into the outside walls, giving it an obvious look of neglect. What used to be containers for shrubs and places for small trees were overtaken by weeds, which are now all dead. Some of the windows are also cracked and a small percentage of them are broken, but most of them are intact though caked with a thin layer of dust.

You find the body of one scavenger, a Loudred, that went too far and ended up attracting a horde of OMEN infected. With the way her skeletal remains were sprawled out, it looks like she tried everything she could to fight back, only there were just too many of them and them feasted upon her until she died.

You find her backpack with supplies, which looks like it was trampled on, but most of the items inside survived. Of them, you find a Sitrus Berry and a fair amount of money, both of which you add to your pack.

[Sitrus Berry] (Restores all Health) was added to Lycellus’s Pack.

    $210 Sochas$ were added to Lycellus’s Pack.

After checking around the outside, once again you realize you’re too big to enter the building, but you investigate each room from the outside, opening each window like you’re a human looking into the rooms of a dollhouse. Most of the rooms are hospital patient rooms with empty beds that haven’t been made since the day OMEN happened. Sadly, a few patient beds have the skeletal remains of a dead Pokémon in them, all victims of OMEN in a different indirect way as the nursing and medical staff had no choice but to flee or die, leaving their helpless patients behind…

You can see why Aurorawatch is interested in this building, as a lot of medical equipment is here, including MRI machines, radiation treatment, and surgical operating rooms are quite plentiful, a lot of which Aurorawatch doesn’t have at their military compound, which you know was only just a hotel a few years ago. Unfortunately, all of it is too fragile and heavy to move, and not without attracting hordes of infected…

A fair amount of medical supplies are here also, some of which are expired, but at a time like this, expired medicine and biologics are better than nothing at all. You imagine Aurorawatch would be interested in the conjunctive hemostats, wound closure sutures, and thrombin sealants as they have nothing like that within the compound to treat injuries. Meanwhile, a lot of the mechanical and energy-based surgical staplers still look like they could be used. Still, unfortunately you’re not able to get your claw in deep enough to recover them when you find them in the supply closets. Many of them are also very fragile and you’d rather not risk damaging them for someone who might need them later.

When you investigate the morgue from the outside, you sense a familiar taint, and it bears the resemblance of a Stalker. When you squeeze your head in to look, suddenly you realize some kind of unholy, sacrificial altar was built here, and it was being used to sacrifice the already dead Pokémon to some dark and unholy purpose.

Upon the altar, you see three grizzly, jagged spikes, all bloody and horrendous. The hideous presence of darkness and mind-corrupting essence wafting from it is almost too much to bear, and you try to pull out, but can’t…

You then notice a horrifying series of wretched, twisted and almost illegible words scratched into the bloody altar itself.

Do yOU knOW WhoSe heaDS ARe oN disPLAy heRE? ThE anSWer iS yoUR heAD. YOuR HeAD. AnD YoUR heAD. aLL yoUR HeADS. YoURRRR HHHHEEEEAAAAADDDDDSSSSSS.

#Infernal Essence (5 Sanity Damage and 5 Purity Damage)# Trap 20% Evasion Test: 28 out of 100: Failed!

It’s grotesque enough to make you want to vomit, and like a dark, deathly mist of black smoke, it gushes from the hideous altar and swarms into your nostrils and your eyeballs to lay an infernal siege to your mind and your soul.

Lycellus has suffered 5 Points of damage to Sanity and 5 Points of damage to Purity

You wretch at the agony it puts you through, but you immediately find a solution. You realize it’s not the altar that’s causing it, but a dark and ungodly effigy of various Pokémon skulls and jagged metal stakes of damnation. You immediately destroy it with your dragonbreath and then cover it with a spare body bag, containing the ashes and the foul presence wafting from them.

The #Infernal Essence (5 Sanity Damage and 5 Purity Damage)# Trap was destroyed and removed through use of Lycellus’s Security.

{Assembly of Heads Sacrificial Altar: Head Mount AND Head Mount AND Head Mount} has been noted in the Team Records.

Finally, after some careful maneuvering, you pull your head out and still try to shake off the dark and infernal hissing in your brain, but it is persistent and still tries to enroot itself into your mind.

You decide to head back to base, just as you hear ghoul screaming in the distance. For now, you’ve found all that you can, and it’s time to go to prepare for tonight’s endeavors.

Deciding to stay close to base and within the refuge area, you head south past the mall and look upon the lot that is Everet the Drednaw’s home and the market he used to run before retiring. Thankfully, the weather is a bit more cooperative today and isn’t constantly blowing sand and dust at you. It definitely improves the visibility and your chances of finding things.

The corner market store that used to be where Everet ran his produce stand hasn’t been used for years, even long before OMEN happened. You also imagine the Freshtastic supermarket likely struck a hard nail in Everet’s business, also. From the outside, the small wooden market stand has been the victim of neglect for a while, and the wooden panels are rotting and falling off while years of dust and sand have accumulated even inside the market stand. Even the store sign has almost completely faded out, seemingly symbolic of the dead passion Everet used to have.

It looks as though Everet was using it as a storage shed for a while, but even then, the equipment inside for gardening and home repair have fallen into neglect and disarray as well. You take a look inside, being careful to watch your step as many of the wooden planks that make up the floor have broken or have jagged splinters sticking out of them. From what you can see, Everet didn’t take very good care of his tools, and many of them are thrown around haphazardly into piles that look like they haven’t been touched in years.

In the back room, you find a broken register with spilled socha coins everywhere, though it looks like it was thrown down in anger rather than something that happened by accident. You’re not sure what prompted this to happen, but considering Everet never bothered to clean up in here, it seems like he isn’t the least bit concerned about it.

You decide to collect all the coins and put them in your Pack, confident you’ll find a better way to spend them.

$120 Sochas were added to Lita’s Pack.

After going through the market stand one more time, you’re convinced there’s really nothing left in there that you think might be useful, and essentially none of these tools could even be repurposed as an effective weapon. Most of the equipment seems to be broken, rusted, and worn and it seems Everet stopped caring for them long ago.

In the main yard that appears to have become overgrown, you find a stray Starf Berry that looks like someone, possibly Everet or someone else, dropped it and didn’t care to pick it back up. You pick it up, brush off the dust and it seems to still be fresh. You figure it might be good to hold onto just in case in corrupting presences of the Stalkers cross paths with you again.

[Starf Berry] (Restores all Purity) was added to Lita’s Pack.

After going around Everet’s home, you see how badly it has fallen into disrepair. It seems Tessa used to be his caretaker, but she’s been missing since OMEN and likely never made it out. As a result, Everet now only takes care of himself and it just letting his former market stand and house fall apart day by day.

You don’t find anything suspicious around the exterior of the house. A few stray tools and a half-buried metal watering can are really the only things you find. It seems as though years ago, there used to be a nice garden here, but it looks like it’s been nothing but weeds, decay, and neglect.

You realize Everet isn’t home, so you decide to go through his small house to see if there’s anything suspicious going on. Besides being disorganized and in dire need of some repair, cleaning, and upkeep, nothing really strikes you as usual. At first, you thought perhaps the death of his wife might have been the cause for Everet’s neglectful behavior, but you don’t find any family photos anywhere. For the most part, the walls in the house are bare, blank, and the furniture is very old-fashioned and covered with dust.

It also doesn’t look like Everet has too many hobbies. Instead, what you find his him obsessing about the news as newspapers are scattered everywhere. You shudder to think this may be all that Everet plans on doing for the rest of his days, but you know better to not to snoop into it.

After not finding any traces of the Stalkers or any Utopian relics, you decide to head back and begin preparations for tonight.

You decide to use this morning’s time to investigate the Enrictinite Power Plant, knowing bringing this plant back online and restoring power to all of Exacta city is one of Aurorawatch’s big priorities. You’re not sure if you’ll be able to help with that regard, but you decide it’s definitely worth it to see if there’s something you can find that was previously missed by the others.

Thankfully, the weather today is more cooperative and you find you don’t even need your new shawl and sandstorm goggles. As you venture out you remind yourself to be on the lookout, keeping a watchful eye over everything as you pass into the Northern Reach. The streets are still quiet and dusty as the days before, but thankfully, you have gotten better at making your way through them and picking out the best sources of cover. You manage to slip by one Nuzleaf ghoul that looks decayed and withered to the point where it’s a wonder they’re still alive to any degree at all.

Once you reach the circular-shaped power plant, you can tell it’s taken some damage from the earthquakes as there are cracks in the gray stone walls of the structure. Whether or not it means the building can’t be reused is a total guess, as you’re not even sure what Enrictinite is, but it sounds like it’s some kind of otherworldly metal that may only exist in Veramo and doing something to it generates electricity, though you’re not sure what its properties may be.

You start by searching the exterior, noticing that while there is some damage to the walls and windows, it looks like it could be serviceable. Though one big requirement is you feel like the earthquakes would need to be resolved immediately, as the next one or two might push it off the edge and it couldn’t possibly be saved for future use.

By the northern side, you come across a Gossifleur’s remains, and you could even they could have been killed yesterday for all you know. The body doesn’t look like it’s been here for long, although whatever ghouls were here to attack them did a brutal job ripping the yellow and red flowers on their body to ribbons.

You also find they were trying to reach for a Sitrus Berry, only it rolled away from them. You grimace to think… if only they had been a few feet closer, they might have been able to eat it and heal themselves enough to make an escape.

You decide to take the berry for yourself, hoping that while it wasn’t able to save this dead Gossifleur, it may be able to save your life if you need it in a pinch…

[Sitrus Berry] (Restores all Health) was added to Nia’s Pack.

You then decide to search the interior. Inside, the power plant isn’t in terrible shape, but it could definitely be better. The floor is dirty and stray bits of debris are about, and the walls seem pretty dirty with a few cracks here and there, but for the most part, it’s not critical damage. Whether or not Aurorawatch will be able to bring life back to this building is a total guess, though.

After passing by the initial entry foyer area, you then head into the rest of the complex where large vat-like containers are in a 4x3 arrangement and many pipes and wires are darting from one machine and fixture to another, creating an almost spaghetti-like entanglement of tubes and wires. Meanwhile, other large metal machines with all kinds of buttons, readouts, display screens, and levers are out and about. They don’t seem to be in bad shape, though you’re not sure if they’re good enough to support operations here again or if they’ll need to undergo maintenance work. From the looks of things, you can say they might, though unless the OMEN infected are dealt with and the earthquakes are stopped entirely, it seems doubtful a maintenance operation will be able to be performed safely.

Among the machines, you feel a somewhat familiar presence. It brings a bit of comfort, so you decide to track it down further and eventually you find what looks to be a stone disc, tucked away between two large console machines. You carefully slide it out with your paws, and when you flip it over, you see what seems to be a vast and seemingly endless ocean of stars and galaxies in the disc itself. You find it fascinating and alluring to look at, wondering if you are really looking upon an endless number of stars and planets, wondering if perhaps there is another whole world full of life out there among them. Or maybe there are many?

    …Infinity…

You almost jump when you hear the calming whisper in your ear, but it gives you a calming assurance and you almost feel a cleansing feeling of tranquility come over you. It convinces you and makes you certain this disc is not of this world, but what exactly it’s for still remains a mystery. You decide to take it with you and guard it with your life.

[Celestial Configuration INFINITY] was added to the Team Inventory.

You continue searching the rest of the power plant, but don’t find any significant clues regarding if and how something can be done to bring it back online. From your best guess, it’s going to take several teams of repair and engineer specialists to do thorough and uninterrupted work to make it possible. But with things still being dangerous, you have a bad feeling that unless the OMEN infected are dealt with and the earthquakes stop for good, it doesn’t seem like power will be returning back to Exacta City through this power plant. Because of this, they’ll have to continue relying on the electrical substation in the refuge area, or they’ll have to build an entirely new power plant.

You then decide to head back for now, somewhat wishing there was better news you could give to Aurorawatch and that you found exactly what the issue was, but it seems it’s a lot more complicated than that.

After carefully and quietly making your way safety through the Northern Reach and back to the steel mill, you decide to make plans for tonight and what you plan on doing next.

Misty shuffled a bit in place, seemingly bothered by something.
“Nico’s really unlucky, huh.. dying twice already. At least the second time was a Ghoul instead of Obscene.”
She sighs, eyeing his new form, an Alcremie, before looking back to the map.
“As for tonight... I’ll go check out (17) North Heights Storage (ABANDONED). Might just be something there.”
She says, still proud for getting Scarlet on their side last night.
    “Stay safe out there guys.”
