    Minnesota sounds like your jam, Pika-dude. XD

    I just can't recommend NJ. Our summers get brutal.

    Trust me on this. Summer here get far worse with the humidity and near constant 100 degree weather ^^; (not to say it's not bad elsewhere).

    I dunno about Minnesota xD. I've heard good and bad

    When I was living in DC I heard it was the worst of both worlds. Awful in both winter and summer. Which I remember when I was there, it wasn’t that bad in June and July but August started to crank up the heat a lot. High 90s every day. Which is not fun when you’re wearing business attire.

    Yeah when I was there for the Pokémon World Championships (that's typically in August) it was awful. Nights were a great relief. Here with how much humidity there is. I swear it's like I'm suffocating at times. More so due to the lung collapse thing.

    Yeah, humidity for me is brutal. Everything feels hot, sticky, sluggish, and just unpleasant.

    I feel like I can handle hot weather as long as there's a nice breeze.

    Yeah I can’t stand still heat. If there’s no air flow then it’ll suffocate me too.

    Yeah that's what I hate about being stuck here in the south. When we do get winter we never get snow. Something I've always wanted more of. Maybe one day.

    I'm sure! Takes a bit of getting used to as well. I knew I was a bit timid at first, but now I got the layaround. It's just the site security I'm a bit nervous around still. Not used to that kind of security. ^^;

    Sometimes it can take a few months before you're cozy with a new job. My job with master data management took over a year to get used to just because there was SO MUCH STUFF going on that it took a very long time to get comfortable with it all. I mean heck, I've been in this job for a year and a half and I still get curveballs. But yeah, this role is CRAZY busy. It's rare there's any downtime, and if there is, it usually goes poof in a heartbeat.

    But no matter what, NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER EVER EVER say you're low on work and you've got nothing to do to your manager. You can get badly swamped doing that and they usually won't pay you more because you're doing more. Make up work for yourself if you have to (such as just writing down how to do things and making guides for how to do tasks you usually do on a daily basis). Organize emails, folders, delete old email junk, do simple office clerical stuff.
