Get ready for a summer like no other!
Stop Giovanni One More Time

Due to a bug in Pokémon GO last month, Team GO Rocket wasn’t showing up. Some vocal people were unable to get Shadow Zapdos. As a make up for that, Niantic has brought back the lighting bird for another round.
So if you missed out, now is your chance. However we do not know how scarce the Boss Radar will be this month, and there are reports that after June 17, Giovanni will have different Shadow Pokémon. So you may want to hold out for whatever that may be.
Research Breakthrough Encounters

To kick of the event on June 1st at 1 p.m. GMT, everyone’s favorite, Clamperl, can be found found after completing seven days of field research. Clamperl can evolve randomly into Gorebyss or Huntail, so you will want to be sure to get enough of them in order to fill out your Pokédex if you haven’t already done so.
Furthermore, each Research Breakthrough will come with a Remote Raid Pass and double the XP than usual. It has also been confirmed that the double XP will remain for the foreseeable future. Be sure to use that to your advantage as the grind to level 50 is long and steep. You will need every boost you can get.
What Raids Are Popping?

Upcoming Events

June 8 – June 13: Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Slowbro and Mega Slowbro will all make their Pokémon GO debut in this event focused on lazy Pokémon. “A Very Slow Discovery” will also feature a collection challenge featuring the aforementioned slow Pokémon.
June 17 – June 20: The Solstice Event is back again this year. Trainers in the north can experience Summer Pokémon in all their glory. While trainers from the south will see an increase of winter themed Pokémon.
June 25 – July 1: An unexpected event is about to happen. All we have to go on is the hint “two front teeth”. What could this mean? Only time will tell.
We have lots to look forward to in June. Mark your calendars and get ready to GO!
