Seasons are changing and there is a whole world out there to discover.
The quarterly shift is happening once again in Pokémon GO. New Pokémon are spawning, new Pokémon are hatching, and there are new places all around to discover. This article will focus more on the new information that was revealed so if you haven’t yet read up on the previously announced June events, such as Pokémon appearing in Raids, you can do so here.
Appearing Near You

In main series Pokémon games, where you are can heavily influence the type of Pokémon that spawn around you. Same can be said for Pokémon GO…to a point. Yes there are biomes that surround cities, parks, and even bodies of water. But these biomes will be the focus of this new seasonal shift. When you are in the city, expect to find Pokémon such as: Alolan Rattata, Magnemite, and Porygon, while in the far off mountains Rhyhorn, Nosepass, Dwebble will appear. If going camping is more your style be sure to find Magikarp, Marill, Wailmereep near bodies of water, while deep in the forests, Bellsprout, Doduo, and Skorupi will come out to play more frequently. These are just some of The Pokémon you can expect to see when out and about this summer.
