Everyones favorite Kanto Starter, Natu, takes centre stage
We joke of course. This month has seen Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and now Natu, featured in Spotlight Hours. We can only speculate Natu is a lost Kanto Starter based on this logic…right?
On July 27th the Spotlight will shine on, Natu, the Tiny Bird Pokémon. To fully prepare you for this hour long weekly event, let’s go on a journey to discover everything we can about this Psychic/Flying Type Pokémon.
About Natu

Natu is 0’08” and weighs 4.4 lbs. Due to its prophetic abilities, Natu is a very cautious Pokémon that is easily spooked. It has the quirky behavior of staring at something until the thing moves.
Jeff Kalles, who was responsible for naming a lot of the Generation 2 Pokemon revealed that Natu is short for Nature.
In Pokémon GO

Natu, in its base stage, has it’s strongest moveset in Quick Attack & Drill Peck and it has a Max CP of 1,102. Xatu, it’s final form has it’s strongest moveset in Air Slash & Future Sight and it has a Max CP of 2,188.
The Shiny form of Natu was released August 20th, 2018, to celebrate the start of the Johto Festival.
