✭Devolution Battle Royale 2! Revamped!✭ [Rules and Sign up!]

Welcome back! While standard DBR2 had to be canceled (all because of a damaged USB port of all things!), DBR2 REVAMPED is like an awesome remaster of an amazing movie that didn’t actually finish and left on a cliffhanger. But hey, we’re back in action! New stuff is in PURPLE so if you’ve already read the rules to DBR2 before, just check out the purple stuff!

If you’re new and joining us for the first time, Devolution Battle Royale 2, or DBR2 for short, is based on the silly first game of Devolution Battle Royale, where your main objective is to devolve everyone else back into eggs and be the last Pokémon standing! You start as a fully evolved Pokémon and need to try and keep your evolution stages while devolving your enemies! Or you're going to be egged to eggstinction.

If you missed out on the first DBR game, no worries! We understand that sometimes insanity sets in at different rates for everyone, but now that you're here, why not join us for another round of craziness!? These rules explain everything you need to know and everything is starting fresh with no continuation from the last game, so jump in! Don’t be shy!

And there's new features this time! Stuff like Superpowers, Items, Buffs, and more! Why, it'll be so eggciting that it'll make the last game look boring in comparison! And yet the last game was such intense insanity!

You first need to sign up and build your Team Roster, which consists of multiple Lineups beginning with your Starting Lineup followed by your Backup Lineups. You have 7 evolution stages to work with. And these can be distributed among as few or as many Pokémon Lineups as you want. How do you use these stages and build your Lineups? I'll tell you how!

So for example, let's say you want to add Alolan Raichu to your roster as your Starting Lineup. That Pokémon evolution line has three stages, so you would be adding Pichu > Pikachu > Alolan Raichu to your roster and that would use up three stages, leaving you with four more to spend. If you then wanted to add Sylveon as a Backup Lineup, then that would be adding Eevee > Sylveon and that would use up two more, leaving you with two. So now you get the idea of how you build a team roster with your Starting Lineup and your Backup Lineups and how these stages are spent.

Use of Mega Evolutions is totally optional. But if you don't use them when you create them, you can't add them later on unless you use the Reinforcements Item (more on that later). Also, because ghost type Pokémon have an advantage in this game due to their immunity over normal-type moves (which come up often), each stage of a ghost type Pokémon you add uses two stages instead of one.

So with those seven stages to spend, something like this could be a valid team roster:

Starting Lineup: Pichu > Pikachu > Alolan Raichu (three stages, uses 3)

    Backup Lineups:
Eevee > Sylveon (two stages, uses 2)
Mimikyu (single ghost stage, uses 2)

Also, your avatar and banner will be changed to reflect what current Pokémon you are. It's a tradition! So in this case, you'd get hooked up with a lovely new Alolan Raichu avatar and signature (you get a LOT of free banners and avatars from this game!). Keep in mind that you can choose between Alolan Raichu and regular Raichu! Different forms for Pokémon like Shaymin and Giratina are perfectly fine too. These will actually make a difference in the game itself, but more on that later!

During the game, getting devolved means you move down stages, up until getting egged, which knocks out your Active Lineup and puts you into your next Backup Lineup. To prevent that from happening, you can also use Evolution Crystals to evolve yourself to reclaim any lost stages (in this game, Evolution Crystals work for all Pokémon that can evolve).

If you become an egg because your Active Lineup got devolved too much and went beyond your lineup’s basic stage Pokémon, you stay that way for the rest of the Season, and then you come back as your next Backup Lineup. Once you lose a Pokémon Lineup, it's gone for good. So if you went all the way down to Pichu and got devolved into an egg, sorry, but there's no chance of you ever getting all the way back to Alolan Raichu once that happens.

Run out of Backup Lineups and sorry, but it means you’re Eggstinct and it’s game over! Thanks for playing!

Also, DO NOT remove avatars or banners while playing. That's considered forfeiting and you don't want to do that. It's part of the game, so keep 'em on! I promise to make them very good! Except when... well, you'll see later...

The game plays out in the form of Seasons. Typically, Seasons are used to describe a session of randomized battle-pairings among the remaining unegged players in this free-for-all game fashion. The game will try to have as many players pair off in battle during a Season as possible before the next Season happens. If battle pairings don't divide evenly due to an odd number of remaining players and one player is left by their lonesome at the end of the Season, that leftover player will battle first next Season.

So how do you devolve your opponents and win? Battling! Once a day (unless very crazy life stuff gets in the way), a battle will be held. Who actually gets pulled into these battles is first determined by who didn't get pulled into a battle last Season (if any) followed by people being chosen randomly, although now there are a few items that can change turn order!

When it's battle time, two people are selected at random and they battle as the Pokémon they are. So from our example, if your number is called by the randomizer, you're an Alolan Raichu stepping up to the battlefield plate! And let's say your opponent is rolling with Umbreon. Who goes first with an attack is decided by a coin flip (speed stats don't count for this).

Then, a random Pokémon move is selected from the 841 moves that exist! I made a cool move randomizer thing made because ThousandRoads didn’t keep up with the times. XD

If it generates a move your Pokémon can use (level up, TM, egg, etc) - Then you attack with that type of attack! So if it generated Thunderbolt (something Alolan Raichu can use), you attack your Umbreon opponent with an Electric attack! It doesn't matter what the move actually does (just the move type matters), so if you got Charge, Electroweb, Thunder Punch, or whatever, it still counts as striking with an Electric attack.

If it generates a move your Pokémon can't use - Nothing happens. You whiff, I have you doing something ridiculous, embarrassing, and dad joke pun-worthy, and it's the opponent's turn.

And it goes back and forward until someone wins and knocks out the other player!

To win the battle, you need to knock out your opponent. I figured you’d get that!

Attacks that do regular damage according to the type chart (STAB isn’t factored) do 1 hit point (HP) of damage. Super Effective attacks do 3 points of damage, usually enough for a OHKO!

HOWEVER, if you get moves that do "not very effective" damage on the opposing Pokémon like shooting fire at water types, those count against you instead and cause 1 point of damage to you! Meanwhile, attacks that have NO EFFECT like throwing normal attacks at ghosts cause 3 points of damage to you! Yikes!

Everyone starts off with 3HP regardless of evolution stage, although there are Items and Superpowers that can increase this amount! Take advantage of them to last longer if stayin’ alive is your fancy!

Time will be called after Turn 30 (because DBR1 made me discover this can go on for a very long time otherwise). Whoever has the most HP remaining wins. If it's tied, it goes into Overtime until someone gets a regular or super-effective damage strike on them (the player dealing the blow will be the winner).

Overtime goes until Turn 40. After Turn 40, if it's still tied or no one has landed any hits on each other, the <ADJECTIVE> COIN OF <MORE SILLY THINGS> will determine the winner.

If you win against your opponent in a battle, you get a Victory Decision and can choose what happens next! You have 24 hours to decide or it defaults to Option #1: Devolve.

Option #1: Devolve them! - This is pretty much the standard. Devolve your opponent down an evolution line. So if you wanted to devolve the Umbreon, "Let's Go Eevee" just took on a whole new meaning!

Option #2: Evolve yourself! - This is a way to reclaim evolution stages you might have lost, though it's not possible to use this option if you're at your maximum evolution stage or if you're a Pokémon that just doesn't evolve. For example, if you got devolved down to Pikachu but wanted to become Alolan Raichu again after winning, you could do this and enjoy tail-surfing again! You could also use this to become something different than you were last time if evolutions branch or have different forms. Such as if you were Vaporeon before, got devolved to Eevee, and wanted to evolve after winning a battle, you could go Flareon this time. Note that you can only evolve yourself once in this fashion (unless you have the Epic Evolution Superpower).

Evolving yourself uses up an Evolution Crystal. You start with three of these pretty things and if you run out, you have to get more before you can evolve yourself again.

Option #3: Devolve Yourself! - New to DBR, you can devolve yourself! But why would you want to do this!? Here's why!

When you win a match and decide to devolve yourself, you decide how many stages you want to scrap (up until egging yourself out of your current Lineup!). For each stage you scrap this way, you get an Evolution Crystal that can be used for evolving yourself later. So for example, if you ended up as Mr Mime and you hate Mr Mime even more than I do (which is hard to imagine), you can devolve yourself once for Mr Mime and then devolve yourself again to scrap Mime Jr and egg yourself all in one go as your Victory Decision. This would get you two Evolution Crystals out of the deal, but your Mime Jr > Mr Mime (2) Lineup is gone for good (yay).

You also get a token for being gutsy enough to do this (especially since there's no guarantee those Evolution Crystals will see action)!

Option #4: Use your Randomizer Wheel! - Feeling lucky? Cruel? Silly? You can throw them into your Randomizer Wheel, which you create when you sign up (if you want to, but you should!)! More details on the joys of Wheeling below!

Option #5: Use an Item! - Certain items can only be used when deciding on a Victory Decision. Here's where you see those babies take action!

Option #6: Break a Second Wind! - Second Wind is a passive defense barrier item that prevents terrible things like devolution and Wheeling being done to them! If one of your enemies has this in their Inventory, you need to break it so it opens them back up to devolution and Wheeling! That said, you can use your Victory Decision to break a losing player's Second Wind item and welcome them back to the nefarious fun!

    NEW!
If you win a battle, regardless of your Victory Decision, you get an Experience Point. Experience Points are handy little things that can be used to both upgrade your Superpowers and purchase new ones to go into battle with!

    THE DECK OF MANY ZINGS

After every battle, there’s a 25% (1 in 4) chance of a Deck of Many Zings appearing, and it’s filled with many good things, bad things, weird things, goofy things, and everything in between! The winner will have the choice of drawing from the Deck of Many Zings if they’re feeling lucky, or forcing their opponent to draw from it if they don’t even want to get near it! If they don’t make a choice within 24 hours, the winner will draw from it by default. So what’s in the Deck of Many Zings, you ask? Well…

    Spoiler:
    1. The Happy Ho-oh! – This lovely card revives one of your lost Lineups anew (any Lineup that is currently crossed out)! Which one that is will be random, so… hope it’s not a Lineup you didn’t like! If you have no lost Lineups, well, Ho-oh says hello, but nothing happens.
    2. WHEELPOCALYPSE – Oh, now you’ve done it! Not only does everyone including you get thrown into your own Wheel, but it even freezes time a bit! (Because I need to do all the Wheel rolls and new sets, bear with me here!) This overrules Victory Decisions!
    3. Meowth of Bounty! – Hey, everyone gets 4 Coins! Except for you. You get a Meowth > Persian Lineup to make all those Coins possible. Meowth, that’s right!
    4. The Money Fool! – All your Coins are gone, but hey, at least that Magikarp salesman gave you that neat and elusive Magikarp > Gyarados Lineup, right? RIGHT!?
    5. I Dream of Eevee – Your funky Eevee dream causes one random player to get a random Eeveelution Lineup. I wonder if it’ll be you!
    6. Pika Flu Tactical Nuke – Hey, wasn’t this from another game? No matter, you become a Pikachu and two random players become a Pikachu with you! Pika-pi! All three of you have your Active Lineup replaced with Pichu > Pikachu > Raichu/Alolan Raichu! This overrules Victory Decisions!
    7. Into the Pot! – All players chip in 2 Coins, or all their Coins if they have less than 2. Whoever wins the next battle gets all those Coins! And the disdain of all the other players!
    8. Brain Fart! – You lose 3 EXP! If you don’t have enough EXP, you lose a Superpower Level and that Superpower level (or the whole Superpower if you only had Level 1) goes to another random player! Agghhhh!
    9. Snom. – You get a Snom Lineup! Because Snom.
    10. Member Berries! – Your active Lineup gets transformed into one person’s wiped lineup that was eliminated! (struck out like this!). Anyone’s wiped lineups is fair game, but now it’s back for you to enjoy once again!
    11. Cheaty Wheelie! – You get a special Cheaty Wheelie Item, which allows you to Wheel someone (even you), but you decide all the outcomes of the three Mini-Wheels when you use it!
    12. The Borrower! – You get the Someone Else’s Wheelie Item, which allows you to Wheel someone using another player’s Wheel (even their own)!
    13. Exchange Fates! – You lose a Backup Lineup at random, but you get a random Level 1 Superpower instead!
    14. Mystery Magical Hat! – A random Pokémon is rolled and you get that Lineup added to your roster! Who knows what you’ll get! It’s a surprise!
    15. The Intern! – Lose a random amount of Coins, but you get that much in EXP instead! Actually, the Coins were better.
    16. The Lovely Double! – A copy of one of your Backup Lineups gets added to a random player’s roster! Maybe they’ll love it, too!
    17. The Weeper Reaper! – Yikes! All your Coins and EXP suddenly get swiped away!
    18. The Switcheroo! – You and another player switch Active Lineups! It’s an identity crisis!
    19. The Credit Debt! – Lose 2 Coins! Or end up with a 2 Coin debt that needs to be paid off before you can buy new Items!
    20. The Robbin’ Hood! – An Item owned by a random player who has Items is suddenly yours! It even comes with a bow! Just don’t tell anyone…
    21. Firesale! – Everything in the store (not Superpowers) is priced at only 1 Coin for the rest of the Season! Spend like there’s no tomorrow!
    22. The Dunce! - Everyone gets 2 EXP except for one random person. They get googly eyes on their set instead!
    23. The Trump Card! – You get the Trump Card item! You can Prime this item and if you lose a battle while it’s Primed, you decide the Victory Decision for the winner!
    24. Take Flight Young Sky Squirrel! – You become my loyal and faithful disciple! A fellow Emolga! Enjoy the sudden urge to go gliding and munching on apples!
    25. Make a Wish! – Become a fun and jubilant Jirachi! No need for shooting stars, genies, or birthday cakes with you around! Also, the 1,000 year nap thing is a lie, along with 90% of everything else that appears in the Pokédex!
    26. Total Mayhem! – The Deck of Many Zings now has a 50% chance of dropping! More craziness, more insanity! But if this gets drawn again, then things return to normal with a 25% drop rate.
    27. Blast from the Past! – +1 extra Coin is distributed to everyone every Friday! This effect stacks the more this is drawn!
    28. Season’s Treatings! – You get your Active lineup turned into Delibird (1) and everyone else gets a random Item! For you, it’s not the getting, it’s the giving! Your Delibird set comes with a Christmas theme!
    29. The Ultimate Frankenwheel! – You get thrown into the ULTIMATE FRANKENWHEEL, a MASSIVE wheel that’s a combination of everyone’s Wheels mashed together! Any Pokémon, any theme, and any usertitle that appears on anyone’s Wheel is now possible!
    30. The Babymaker Curse! – One of a random player’s active lineups (randomly chosen) is replaced with one of the baby Pokémon from the Babymaker Item and they get the “Babymaker Curse” as a buff! And they get the cutesy Pokémon Daycare theme to go with that! Whoever has the “Babymaker Curse” buff can only use their Victory Decision to spread the Babymaker Curse to their opponent, changing them into a cursed baby Pokémon that can pass the curse to others, also! It’s like zombies, except with babies!
    31. Wait, What IS My Final Form!? – Your final backup lineup is switched with another random player’s final backup lineup!
    32. Sharing is CARING!!! – Half of your Coins and EXP are taken (round down) and are given to another player at random! Aww, aren’t you just a sweet, little angel!?
    33. Power Snatchy! – A random player loses a Level 1 Superpower and it’s given to you! If you already have the snatched Superpower, your Superpower gets upgraded! But if your Superpower level is already Level 3, you get a new Superpower or Superpower upgrade at random!
    34. GOD MODE TURN ON - For the next battle, you have Yes, I Lift Bro Level 3, Frenzy Level 3, Wheel Master Level 3, and Smart Cookie Level 3 ALL ACTIVE AT THE SAME TIME! And you get a Cheaty Cookie activated for you! But just for the next battle, only! Enjoy the carnage!
    35. Blackmail! – You get the Blackmail item! Want to buy that shiny new item or Superpower, but you just don’t have enough dough to do it? Use this new Blackmail item and choose another player. Choose what you're buying and you pay half the cost and your selected target pays the other half and that new Item or Superpower is all yours! Big time fun!

    NOTES:

The results of Victory Decisions happens BEFORE the Deck's results. So for example, if you Wheeled your opponent but the Deck has them get changed into something else after the result of the Wheel, the Deck's results take hold, although the overwritten lineup from the Wheel will be added to their stat card (since that can actually be revived from the Deck as well). Also, if this happens, I'll only be making the avatar/banner set for the final results and what they ultimately get turned into. If the Victory Decision results in someone getting egged from devolution but the Deck has them getting changed into something else, the Deck's effect completely fizzles and the lineup they would have gotten never gets added.

Bonus items given by the Deck (like Cheaty Wheelie, Someone Else’s Wheelie, and Trump Card) do NOT take up space in your Inventory, so if you're cruising with a full backpack and you happen to get one of those, enjoy the hammerspace!

Any new and swapped-in Backup Lineups added to your roster will be added as the next upcoming Backup Lineup after your Active Lineup gets egged, BUT you can specifically change the order of your Backup Lineups at ANY time if you'd rather save your new ones for later or for whatever reason. Just check your stats card and post in here what new order you'd like for them to be arranged in! I'll handle the rest!

It's your own precious Randomizer Wheel! Treat it kindly and let it grow and be wild and free!

You decide how painful this is! Your Randomizer Wheel consists of three Mini-Wheels. Mini-Wheel #1 affects what Pokémon they become, Mini-Wheel #2 affects what theme they end up with for the avatar and banner set they’ll get slapped with, and Mini-Wheel #3 affects what their usertitle becomes! The randomizer will roll one selection for all three of these Mini-Wheels you create and your victim gets to enjoy them!

First, you design your Mini-Wheel #1. These will change the victim's Pokémon form depending on what the randomizer lands on. There are a few rules with it, though. First, you need to pick six Pokémon and they have to follow a certain rule criteria:

The First needs to be a fully evolved Pokémon, stage 3 of 3. You kind of want to hope your opponent doesn't get this since it might help them by giving them a fully evolved Pokémon now, but you can at least pick something goofy! So in this case, Charizard, Raichu, and Mega Lucario are valid options, though you may want to pick a much sillier Pokémon than those just to torture your opponents!
The Second needs to be a fully evolved Pokémon, stage 2 of 2. This probably won't help your opponent too much, but again, make it zany and worth it! In this case, Venomoth, Bewear, and Golurk are valid options.
The Third needs to be a mid-evolved Pokémon, stage 2 of 3. Pikachu, Wartortle, Braixen, and the like fall into this pool.
The Fourth needs to be a basic stage, stage 1 of 3. So Pichu, Litten, and Mudkip are perfectly fine here!
The Fifth needs to be a basic stage, stage 1 of 2. So Vulpix, Chinchou, and Sandshrew work here.
The Sixth needs to be a basic stage that doesn't evolve at all. Emolga, Zangoose, Druddigon and so on can fit here.

Note: As before, use of Mega Evolutions is optional for this and they don't have to be a part of the Lineup.

Remember, pick the silliest Pokémon you can think of! Well, really, it's up to you. Anyway, this transformation replaces whatever current Active Lineup they have going on and they can't change it back! Unleash that evil maniacal laugh you've been practicing!

Now you design Wheel #2 where their banner and avatar theme is changed. Think it would be funny if they got silly themes? Here's your chance! You pick five and they be silly themes like this:

    #1 Celebrate the Wrong Holiday!
    #2 I’m Ecstatic About Static!
    #3 Random Chibi Anime Kittens!
    #4 Candyland!
#5 I Hope You Like Pink!

Just nothing that would seriously break PXR rules (as in no porn, profanity, racially sensitive, or seriously offensive stuff). I'll try to make their next banner and avatar as close to your theme as possible! ;P

And now you design Wheel #3, where you modify their user title! You could do silly things like this!

    #1 "Super Slappy Happy"
    #2 "I need my binkie"
    #3 "Proudest Pizza Face"
#4 "OMG Happy New Year 2016!"
    #5 "Warning: Contains Gluten"

Be cruel. Remember, you're giving up devolving them or evolving yourself for this! Also, nothing that breaks PXR rules like swearing or vulgar stuff.

These grizzly and cruel effects last until they devolve, evolve, or get thrown into someone else's Randomizer Wheels. So if you subjected someone to a torturous life of getting stuck with Mr Mime, a stupid theme, a lousy usertitle, and then they devolved normally, well, they'd be just a regular Mime Jr then. Their avatar and banner getup would look normal again according to their own personal selected theme. They can also legally change their usertitle now if they can’t stand what you slapped them with. XD

Standard rules are that you can only Wheel a person once for the entire game unless you use a Wheelie item, which allows you to do it again on someone. And new to DRB, YES, SWEET CAROLINE, YOU CAN WHEEL YOURSELF! But again, only once, unless you use a Wheelie or get the Wheel Master Superpower (more on these below). But that may not be the only way you get thrown into your own Wheel!

If you've already victimized them into your Randomizer Wheels, the main stats page will note who you've victimized like this! Try to nail everyone you can and add everyone's name to your collection! Gotta Catch 'Em All!

More new stuff to DBR2, Superpowers are fun abilities and perks each player can select when they sign up.

Superpowers have levels, and they start off relatively weak at Level 1 and become more and more powerful as you upgrade them to Level 2 and Level 3. To upgrade a Superpower, you need to spend Experience Points, which you earn by winning! But if you’re running low on Experience Points and really want to go buff, you can also use Coins in place of those (1 Coin for 1 EXP point)!

Everyone starts with one starting Superpower at Level 1.

    LEVEL 1 – Buying a whole new Superpower at Level 1 costs 4 EXP/Coins.
    LEVEL 2 – Upgrading your Level 1 Superpower to Level 2 costs 6 EXP/Coins.
LEVEL 3 – Going to the max and upgrading your Level 2 Superpower to Level 3 costs 8 EXP/Coins

    YES, I LIFT, BRO
LEVEL 1 – Your Max HP for each battle is increased by 1!
LEVEL 2 – Your Max HP for each battle is increased by 2!
LEVEL 3 – Your Max HP for each battle is increased by 3!

    MACGYVER
LEVEL 1 – Your Inventory Space increases from 2 slots to 3 slots and whenever you use an Item, there’s a 25% chance it won’t be used up! Every Season, you will receive a random Item (1 Coin value)!
LEVEL 2 - Your Inventory Space increases from 3 slots to 4 slots and whenever you use an Item, there’s a 50% chance it won’t be used up! Every Season, you will receive a random Item (1 or 2 Coin value)!
LEVEL 3 - Your Inventory Space increases from 4 slots to 5 slots and whenever you use an Item, there’s a 75% chance it won’t be used up. Every Season, you will receive a random Item (any value)!

    FRENZY
LEVEL 1 – During battles, you attack twice for the first 10 turns.
LEVEL 2 – During battles, you attack twice for the first 20 turns.
LEVEL 3 – During battles, you attack three times for the first 20 turns! Go nuts!

    COMPENSATOR
LEVEL 1 – Add three more stages of Pokémon to your Lineups!
LEVEL 2 – Add four more stages of Pokémon to your Lineups!
LEVEL 3 – Add five more stages of Pokémon to your Lineups!

Just note, ghost types still cost two stages per Pokémon in the Lineup.

    WHEEL MASTER
LEVEL 1 - ALWAYS have the Wheel option after winning and Wheel people, including yourself, as much as you like! No Wheelie items needed for you!
LEVEL 2 – In addition to always having the Wheel option, you can choose to Wheel yourself as well as your opponent as your Victory Decision!
LEVEL 3 – In addition to always having the Wheel option, wheel your victim, yourself (optional), as well as another person of your choosing!

    EPIC EVOLUTION
LEVEL 1 - Add 3 additional Evolution Crystals to your wallet! Also, if you choose to Evolve yourself as a Victory Decision, you can jump multiple stages at once, such as going from Pichu straight to Raichu (still uses up 2 Evolution Crystals) or go from Charmander straight to Mega Charizard X (would use up 3 Evolution Crystals)!
LEVEL 2 – Add 6 additional Evolution Crystals to your wallet! Now if you have the option of devolving your opponent 1 stage and evolve yourself as part of the same Victory Decision!
LEVEL 3 – Add 9 additional Evolution Crystals to your wallet! When you evolve, your opponent pays for your first evolution stage instead of you (but you pay for an additional stages)! And you can still devolve your opponent as part of the same Victory Decision!

    SMART COOKIE
LEVEL 1 – Every time you make an attack that would generate a self-damaging result (not very effective/no effect), you have a 33% chance of stopping yourself!
LEVEL 2 - Every time you make an attack that would generate a self-damaging result (not very effective/no effect), you have a 66% chance of stopping yourself!
LEVEL 3 – Never make self-destructive attacks ever again! (Or at least for the rest of the game! :P)

    RAGE MODE
LEVEL 1 - After a losing streak of 2, you get +2 HP for all future battles and you attack twice for the first 5 turns. When you win, the buffs are removed until you hit a loss streak of 2 or more again.
LEVEL 2 - In addition to Level 1's loss streak of 2 benefits, after a loss streak of 3, you get +4 HP (instead of only +2) and you attack twice for the first 10 turns. Those who win against you will be thrown into their own Wheel. These buffs overwrite what's in Level 1. When you win, the buffs are removed until you hit a loss streak of 3 or more again.
LEVEL 3 - In addition to Level 1's loss streak of 2 benefits and Level 2's loss streak of 3 benefits, after a loss streak of 4, you unleash your ultimate berserk rage and get +6 HP, attack three times for the first 10 turns, and if you lose again, you choose three people, including the winner, and decide who gets thrown into which Wheels! These buffs overwrite what's in Level 1 and 2. When you finally win, the buffs are removed until you hit a loss streak of 4 or more again.

    DECK ENTHUSIAST (NEW!)
LEVEL 1 – The drop rate of the Deck of Many Zings is increased by 25% for you!
LEVEL 2 – The drop rate of the Deck of Many Zings is increased by 50% for you!
LEVEL 3 – You roll twice for the Deck of Many Zings (with the +50% bonus) for a max of two drops! And you can take both, take one and give one to your opponent, or give both to your opponent!

New to DBR, Items are fun devices of silliness and anarchy that can help you along in your quest to egg the heck out of everyone!

To get items, you need to spend Coins. Every Friday is PAYDAY and everyone gets two (2) Coins to spend, although some Items may cost more than one Coin. You can save up as many Coins as you like, but as always, your cash doesn’t mean a thing if you don’t spend it! If you’ve got a full Inventory (starts at two slots but can be upgraded in size with MacGyver) and Coins you want to spend, use up those Items first! Also, if you want to use an Item, just post and say so at any time (unless it can only be used as a Victory Decision)! And taunt people while you’re doing it!

Items have all kinds of different uses and can be used at certain times. There are cases where you can use multiple items at the same time, so if that’s how you roll, go for it!

An Item that has the state of PRIMED next to its name in the player’s inventory means the player has activated it and it will be used the next time the trigger condition for its use is met. While an Item is PRIMED, it still counts as taking up an Inventory slot preventing you from filling it with a new item, but it will disappear after being used.

CHEATY COOKIE [SELF, Use to Affect Your Next Battle] [COST: 1 COIN] - Use a Cheaty Cookie before your next battle to break the silly rules and prevent yourself from self-destruction (Will enter PRIMED state until your next battle happens)! During the next battle, if you make an attack that's "Not Very Effective" it becomes a regular-damage strike instead! And on top of that, if you make a "No Effect" attack, that counts as "Super Effective" instead! Good for those times when you're up against someone that's clearly got type advantages and you feel like ignoring that darn type chart for a while! Lasts one battle.

BRASS BALLS [SELF, Use to Affect Your Next Battle] [COST: 1 COIN] - Use before your next battle (enters PRIMED state) to make sure Super-Effective strikes against you get reduced to just regular-damage strikes! On top of all that, you get +1 HP so it now takes an additional regular-damage strike to defeat you for the battle this is used! Lasts one battle. Can also stack with the Yes, I Lift, Bro Superpower for bonus protection!

MYSTERIOUS HALO [SELF, Use to Affect Your Next Battle] [COST: 1 COIN] - A Pokémon Guardian Angel is watching your back! When you use Mysterious Halo, you also choose a Pokémon (any) as your Guardian Angel (Mysterious Halo will then enter PRIMED state). For the next battle, you will use any moves generated by the Metronome randomizer that your current form knows or that your Guardian Angel Pokémon knows. If both your current Pokémon form and the Guardian Angel Pokémon can use the move, you use it twice and it counts as a double attack! Note that your Guardian Angel is not affected by your own Superpowers or other Items you've used on yourself. They also only have 1HP, so if they use an attack that's NOT VERY EFFECTIVE or has NO EFFECT on your opponent, that wipes them out! Lasts one battle.

WHEELIE [SELF OR ENEMY, Use as a Victory Decision After Winning a Battle] [COST: 1 COIN] - Did you Wheel someone already and you REALLY want to have the fun of Wheeling them again!? A Wheelie lets you do just that! But as an added bonus, when you select Wheelie as your Item pick, you may also change and modify your Randomizer Wheel layout as a free bonus (declare your changes when using this)! Note that if you want to change it again after this, you need to grab a second Wheelie item.

METAMORPHOSIS [SELF, Use Between Battles] [COST: 1 COIN] - Got bored of what you signed up with? Want to turn over a new leaf and roll with a whole new setup? No problem! Use Metamorphosis to allow yourself to change your Theme, your Backup Lineups (provided remaining evolution stages remain the same among all your Backup Lineups), and your Wheel to totally new options! Just note you can't change your Active Lineup, but everything else is fair game!

DUELING GLOVE [SELF OR ENEMY, Use Between Battles] [COST: 1 COIN] – Want to override the sheer randomness of RNG’s decisions and make the decision of who battles who yourself!? A Dueling Glove is just what you’re looking for! Simply pick two contestants (could include you!) and they’ll be set in DUELING state to battle each other!

JUST DESSERTS [ENEMY, Use it to Affect Your Next Losing Battle] [COST: 2 COINS] – Use (enters PRIMED state) and the next time you lose a battle, you subject the winner of the match to their own Wheel! (Occurs AFTER the winner makes their Victory Decision) Revenge is sweet, sweet, sweet!

MIGHTY SHIELD [SELF, Once Anytime Use] [COST: 2 COINS] - Use this item to protect your current Active Lineup or a Backup Lineup from being Wheeled, Swapped or affected by the Deck of Many Zings by bouncing the effect to another player instead of you! This will last until that Lineup gets egged and Mighty Shield overrules all other Superpowers and Item effects. However, you can only use Mighty Shield once per game, so choose wisely!

FUN FLIP [ENEMY, Use as a Victory Decision After Winning a Battle] [COST: 2 COINS] - Use after winning to swap your Active Lineup state with the Active Lineup state of your defeated opponent! Avatars and Banners remain the same, just the names get changed. Use if you would rather have someone else deal with a cruddy Pokémon form! So if you had Stunfisk (1) and your opponent had Pichu > Pikachu > Raichu (3) and you used this, you'd become the Raichu and they'd become the Stunfisk! It's fun for you and... well, they can just deal with it. *Shades*

STUNT DOUBLE [SELF IN DUELING STATE, Use Between Battles] [COST: 2 COINS] – Were you pulled into a Duel and you really don’t want to go through it? Skip that pesky duel by simply getting the Stunt Double item and pick someone else to duel in your place! I’m sure they’ll be thrilled for the opportunity to go in there instead of you!

SECOND WIND [SELF, Passively used] [COST: 3 COINS] - Worried about losing? A Second Wind acts as a guard that protects you from being devolved, Wheeled, or affected by the Deck of Many Zings by bouncing the effect to another player instead of you![/color]! In order for it to be broken, a winning player has to spend their Victory Decision on breaking your Second Wind item before you can be subjected to devolution and Wheeling. Note that this also prevents you from being Wheeled by yourself, so apply carefully! Once Second Wind is used, it is removed from your Inventory and a “SECOND WIND” status is placed next to your current Pokémon stage. This Item only works for your currently Active Pokémon stage (you can’t apply Second Wind to upcoming stages in your Active Lineup or anything in any of your Backup Lineups.
    USES FOR EACH PLAYER:
    NEO EMOLGA: 1/3
    CHAKRAMASTER: 0/3
    NOBLEJANOBII: 1/3
    SCYTHERWOLF: 0/3
    C0L0R3D: 0/3
    VOLTAIRE MAGNETON: 0/3
    ARNISD: 0/3
    SHRUIKAN: 2/3

WISHIER PIECE [SELF + 2 Opponents, Use Between Battles, Effect Triggers at the start of the next Season] [COST: 3 COINS]
Go Dynamax (or Gigantamax)! During the next season’s opening battle, you go BIG and enter Dynamax/Gigantamax form, your HP TRIPLES and your attacks do DOUBLE DAMAGE! When you declare your use of Wishier Piece, you choose two opponents to face off against who will have to work together to try and defeat you! If you roll a successful attack, the player you hit with it will be decided randomly. If you win the battle, you can choose a Victory Decision as normal, but you can target either player. However, if the opposing team wins, one of them will be chosen at random to get the Victory Decision.

All players involved in the Wishier Piece battle enter the DUELING state, which means they can’t be selected for another Wishier Piece battle (or Babymaker battle, see below) until the first battle resolves.

BABYMAKER [SELF +1 Opponent, Use Between Battles, Effect Triggers at the start of the next Season] [COST: 3 COINS]
Start a 1vs1 duel with someone! But there’s a catch. You both have to do it as a baby Pokémon! Just note that you can't select an opponent that has Second Wind active or Mighty Shield up on their Active Lineup.

First, you choose your baby Pokémon from the following list:

    1. Pichu / 2. Cleffa / 3. Iggybuff / 4. Togepi / 5. Tyrogue / 6. Smoochum / 7. Elekid / 8. Magby / 9. Azurill / 10. Wynaut / 11. Budew / 12. Chingling / 13. Bonsly / 14. Mime Jr. / 15. Happiny /16. Munchlax /17. Riolu / 18. Mantyke / 19. Toxel

Your opponent doesn’t get to decide. They get selected one for them randomly!

Whoever wins the duel can make a Victory Decision that affects either player’s form or heh heh, the winner can decide to leave the loser as their new baby form (would overwrite their current Active Lineup) with a cutesy Pokémon Daycare theme!

Of course there’s Tokens to get! And it’s an all new set to enjoy! Can you get all of them!?
