Oh no! Like can you believe this!? Well hun, global supply chain shortages have affected us, too, sorry to say! Mostly when it comes to Second Winds. Because of limited supply, each contestant can only use Second Wind three more times for the rest of DBR2 moving forward. So if you used Second Wind already when there were plenty of those out there on the market, consider yourself lucky, but times have changed and… eek, the shelves are emptying out and Second Wind Inc has stated they’re closing down production! Yikes!

The number of Second Winds a contestant has used will be tracked in the Rules thread, so if you’re not sure how many left you can get your hands on, you can find your answer there, hun!

I mean, despite these crazy supply chain shortages, we’ve got new things in store for you to buy and use in your shiny Coins on! This seems like a sweet way to make up for that, I’d say!

DUELING GLOVE [SELF OR ENEMY, Use Between Battles] [COST: 1 COIN] – Want to override the sheer randomness of RNG’s decisions and make the decision of who battles who yourself!? A Dueling Glove is just what you’re looking for! Simply pick two contestants (could include you!) and they’ll be set in DUELING state to battle each other!

STUNT DOUBLE [SELF IN DUELING STATE, Use Between Battles] [COST: 2 COINS] – Were you pulled into a Duel and you really don’t want to go through it? Skip that pesky duel by simply getting the Stunt Double item and pick someone else to duel in your place! I’m sure they’ll be thrilled for the opportunity to go in there instead of you!

NEW DECK OF MANY ZINGS CARD!
It feels just too weird to have an uneven number of Deck Cards, so we’re going to change that funky 34 to a dazzling 35 by adding a new card to draw!

• Blackmail! – You get the Blackmail item! Want to buy that shiny new item or Superpower, but you just don’t have enough dough to do it? Use this new Blackmail item and choose another player. Choose what you're buying and you pay half the cost and your selected target pays the other half and that new Item or Superpower is all yours! Big time fun!

THE ITEM DUMP
You've heard the expression "another Pokémon’s trash is another Pokémon’s treasure?" Well, in today's waste-conscious world, we here at DBR2 are changing things for a more eco-friendly universe!

While anyone is free to scrap one of their items to free up space in their inventory, that item now goes into The Dump (see the stats thread) and another player can grab it and use it themselves! But if you really don't want anyone else to get their hands on that gear, then you'd better find a way to use it yourself, hun!
