I wonder when I'll get the motivation to do digital art again, I've been mostly dabbling on art with color markers.

Some days I have a lot of energy for digital art, but other days I don't. To really get stuff done, I need that plus the time to do it. If I only have like one half hour, usually it's not worth getting all set up and then poof, time's up and I just didn't get much done.

Same thoughts tbh, plus I'm guessing I've been using my laptop for work so much I want to distance myself from it for a while hence the lack of motivation for digital art lol

Yeah, it's along those lines of where in school, you barely ever read for pleasure because you're so drained from reading as a class requirement. I'd probably feel the same way if I was a video game play tester. Would probably not play very much out of pleasure because I'd be so drained from having to do it at work. :P

Making/designing video games might be the fun-ner part, playtesting/quality control not so much

From what I've heard, being a dev for video games is HARD work and they work many long hours to make those crazy deadlines. I also get that many of them work on projects they may not personally like, either. Such as if you didn't like horror games or the horror genre overall but that's the project you're assigned to, you may just have to deal with it either way.

Plus, it's a VERY competitive field on top of that. So I can still see the pluses and minuses when it comes to working in that industry.

Yeah and some of those developers that work with such a small team (Like Toby Fox) that made so many masterpieces. Its a tough job.

Tobyfox is a wizard, I can't even begin to imagine what he did in preparation for both Undertale and Deltarune.

And yeah, I still haven't played Deltarune, yet. It's on the list. :P

I haven't either, but I guess I'd rather wait for it to be complete since I'm not in the rush to play it lol

I still need to finish Undertale... :| I'd just reached one of the last areas, but then forgot about it XD
