Get ready to get lost in the Lost Zone!
The Lost Zone is coming back! Especially in the TCG with the upcoming sets from Japan and America!
“Lost Abyss” Coming to Japan


Coming to Japan on July 15th is “Lost Abyss”. This new TCG set will mark the return of the Lost Zone and Giratina.
“Lost Abyss” will feature over 100 new cards. The main force of this set will be the new Giratina VSTAR. This set and the feature Pokemon will use the Lost Zone in some form or way. Most of them will find tricky ways to put cards from the field to the Lost Zone. One unique feature of cards that will interact with the Lost Zone is a cool pink, purple and blue smoke surrounding the art. This smoke effect can be found on every card that interacts with the Lost Zone in some form or way.
The Lost Zone is a mechanic in the Pokemon TCG which plays similar to the Discard. Though, once a card goes into the Lost Zone, players will not be able to recover those cards during the game. Though, there are several game mechanics involving Pokemon or cards that could take effect bending what or how many cards are in the Lost Zone.

“Lost Origin” Coming to America

“Lost Origin” will be our third TCG set of the year. Though, instead of coming out normally in August, it will have a September release date.
“Lost Origin” will have several new cards ranging from powerful VMAX Pokemon to brilliant VSTAR Pokemon. Cards such as Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR and Hisuian Goodra VSTAR will be making their TCG debut. Meanwhile, brand new Radiant Pokemon will be coming such as Radiant Gardevoir. Meanwhile, Giratina VSTAR will be looming out of the Lost Zone to strike!
Below are the set details for “Lost Origin”.

  • Three new Radiant Pokémon
  • Six Pokémon VSTAR
  • 14 Pokémon V and one Pokémon VMAX
  • 30 cards with artwork featuring fan-favorite Trainers and Pokémon in the Trainer Gallery subset

“Lost Origin” will be made of Japan’s “Dark Phantasma” and “Lost Abyss” TCG sets.
You will be able to see “Lost Origin” hit store shelves in America, UK and Canada on September 9th. Prereleases for “Lost Origin” will be from August 30th to September 4th.
