Pewter City Gym: Brock

Dennis comes running into the gym with Mankey in his hands and Charmeleon running besides him.
"I, Dennis from the Hoenn region, challenge you, the gym leader!" Dennis says pointing at Brock.
"Wow, it's not often that we get a challenger from over seas. I'm Brock the Pewter Gym Leader. I'm an expert on Rock-type Pokémon." Brock says
Brock stands still waiting to see if Dennis leave. When Dennis dont back down from him he smiles grabbing a pokéball.
"My Pokémon are impervious to most physcial attacks. You'll have a hard time inflicting any damage. Come on!"



"I hope your first gym battle here in Kanto sets a tone."

Gym Leader Brock sent out Geodude.

"Geodude? Hm... Mankey, go!" Dennis says
"Mank! Mankey!" Mankey says and jumps into the battle area
"Mankey, use low kick! Geodude must be heavy so that will do great damage!"
Mankey runs over to Geodude and kicks it as hard as he can.
"Great! Now, before he can do anything more, use Karate Chop!"
Mankey attacks with a sharp chop.
"Geodude, get up and use Magnitude!" Brock comnands.
Geodude makes the ground shake so it deals alot of damage on Mankey.
"Mankey, Low kick, one more time!" Dennis says.
Mankey kicks Geodude agian.

"Yes! Great job mankey!" Dennis says as Geodude faints.
"Good job, Dennis... But you haven't beaten me yet! Go Onix!"
"Onix... Hm... Keep battling Mankey, you're doing great!"
"Start up with a Low Kick!" Dennis says.
Mankey runs into Onix an kicks it so hard that it falls.
"Great! While it's down, use Karate Chop at its head!"
Mankey quickly moves over to Onix' head and attacks with a sharp chop.
"Mankey must be exhausted from the previous battle aleready, so here's out chance! Use Rock Tomb!" Brock says
Onix raises up and starts hurling rocks on Mankey.

Mankey fainted

"No! Mankey! You battled well... Now return!"
"So who's your next Pokémon?" Brock asks.
"My next Pokémon? Heh, Charmeleon, go!"
Charmeleon who was standing besides Dennis during the earlier battles run out in the area.
"Charmeleon use Dragon Rage!" Dennis says.
Charmeleon opens its mouth and shoots out dragon powers.
"Onix use Rock Tomb!" Brock commands.
"Escape the rocks!" Dennis says.
Onix starts throwing rocks agianst Charmeleon but he jumps away from most of them, one of them hits.
"Damn... You ok Charmeleon?"
"Char!" Charmeleon growls and nods.
"Now's the chance, push onix into the ground!"
Charmeleon jumps into the air and pushes Onix down.
"Now, to the final blow! Dragon Rage in its face!"
Charmeleon jumps in front of Onix' face and uses Dragon Rage, a perfect hit.

"YES!!!" Dennis yells as Charmeleon defeats Onix.
"Great job, Charmeleon! You did it!"
"Char-Char!" Charmeleon replies and runs over to Dennis.
"Onix, return..." Brock says and goes over to Dennis.
"Dennis, you battled great!"
"Thanks Brock. You were great too. Thank you so much for this great battle!" Dennis says.
"You can come by later and pick up your Boulder Badge, ok?" Brock asks.
"Sure! See ya later then!" Dennis says and walks out with his Pokémon.
"Bye." Brock says.
