    Rocky vs the Cerulean gym!
    *Story is in the spoilers*
    Spoiler:

Rocky's Poketech beeped telling him that his Pokemon were healed and ready for battle.

"Okay gang, I'm going to go take on the gym. Wish me luck!"

He gathered his Pokemon from the Pokemon center and headed to the gym. He walked in and registered and Misty came out to greet him...

She said something, Rocky was sure of that, but he couldn't say what he was to engrossed at staring at the gym leader. 'Wow she is pretty!' is all he could think. Then she stopped talking and looked him, waiting for a response.

"I...Me...Battle...Pretty!" Rocky stumbled over his words.

A group of girl's started giggling at him and Rocky turned to see three other girls and his jaw just dropped all thoughts of anything just flew right out of his head.

"I really like this gym!" he said.

"Do you want to battle us first?" the red headed sister asked.

Rocky didn't really comprehend the question but he nodded any way, anything these girls wanted, he would say yes to!

"Challenge accepted! To the Pool!" Misty announced loudly, breaking Rocky out of his daze.

    HARD MODE Activated.

    VS Cerulean Sisters
    Spoiler:

He walked to the challenger's end of the large pool and looked to the other end where the three girls were giggling.

"Good luck", the blue haired one called out and blew him a kiss. Rocky didn't resister anything except the dimples in the blue-haired girl's cheeks until he was splashed by a playful Goldeen which brought him back to the moment.

"Oh ... yes. Pinchy I choose you."

The large Parasect splashed into the pool of water. I started to sink, but then it shot tendrils out to latch onto the edge of the pool and dragged itself to the edge. Using little spiky growths it attached itself to the wall of the pool, half in and half out of the water.

It then shot a super fast vine whip out and grabbed the Goldeen, quickly draining the energy out of it.

    Opponent: Goldeen
    Attacker: Parasect
    Opponent's Point Value: 12
    Attacker's Point Value: 24
Bonuses: -10 (-5 Grass vs Water, -5 fully evolved vs 1/2)
    Opponents's Remaining Points: 0
    Attacker's Remaining Points: 22
    Spoiler:

The three girls quickly called back their Goldeen and Sent Shellder out to try to defeat the Parasect.

Pinchy was ready however. As soon as the Shellder hit the water the Parasect shot another vinewhip out and squeezed the Shellder until it fainted.

    Opponent: Shelder
    Attacker: Parasect
    Opponent's Point Value: 12
    Attacker's Point Value: 22
Bonuses: -10 (-5 Grass vs Water, -5 fully evolved vs 1/2)
    Opponents's Remaining Points: 0
    Attacker's Remaining Points: 20
    Spoiler:

Quick as a Flash the Three girls were defeated. Rocky smiled and waved at them, but they were no longer interested in flirting. They angrily stomped off.

    VS Misty
    Spoiler:

Misty walked to the opposite side of the pool. "My sisters may have been easily defeated, but I am gym leader here. Now you face me." She looked serious, or perhaps a little nervous.

Pinchy was still holding onto the edge of the pool. He had several vine-whip tendrils floating on top of the water, waiting for any Pokemon to try to enter it's hunting ground.

"Go Seel!" called Misty, sending her Seel out to try to dislodge the Parasect. It was no use, the moment the Seel hit the water, Pinch grabbed it in his Vines and drained it's energy.

    Opponent: Seel
    Attacker: Parasect
    Opponent's Point Value: 16
    Attacker's Point Value: 20
Bonuses: -10 (-5 Grass vs Water, -5 fully evolved vs 1/2)
    Opponents's Remaining Points: 0
    Attacker's Remaining Points: 14
    Spoiler:

Rocky smiled. Pinchy was performing beyond his expectations. The Parasect was in complete control of the pool and he intend to keep it that way.

Misty called out her Staryu. A water and Psychic type. 'She must be getting desperate to go with that' thought Rocky.

Pinchy grabbed the Staryu and dragged it close and allowed the bug part to deliver the knockout blow.

    Opponent: Staryu
    Attacker: Parasect
    Opponent's Point Value: 19
    Attacker's Point Value: 14
Bonuses: -15 (-5 Grass vs Water, -5 Bug vs Psychic, -5 fully evolved vs 1/2)
    Opponents's Remaining Points: 0
    Attacker's Remaining Points: 10
    Spoiler:

Misty called back Staryu and immediately sent out Starmie.

Pinchy immediately latched onto the Starmie and started to drain it, But then something strange happened. Pinchy had drained so much energy from all of his opponents that he had swollen up to twice normal size. He was so big that he could no longer hold himself to the edge of the the pool and fell of sinking to the bottom. The Parasect struggled to swim back to the surface but found himself unable to and fainted on the bottom of the pool.

    Opponent: Starmie
    Attacker: Parasect
    Opponent's Point Value: 40
    Attacker's Point Value 10
Bonuses: -10 (-5 Grass vs Water, -5 bug vs psychic)
    Opponents's Remaining Points: 20
    Attacker's Remaining Points: 0
    Spoiler:

Rocky had no choice but to with draw the fainted Pokemon despite the Parasect completely owning the pool.

"Too much of a good thing can be bad for you I guess", Misty called out.

Rocky looked at his remaining Pokemon. Rusty would simply sink, Igglybuff was too small, and Zubat was to psychotic. That left Sniper and Speedy.

"Sniper, I choose you. Take down that Starmie for me."

Sniper sprang into the water and swam happily around. He seemed to enjoy the aquatic environment. Starmie used swift attack which hit Sniper and angered him. The Arbok then struck full strength at the Starmie and bit into it's central jewel for a devastating attack. Starmie was hurt but responded with a psybeam from the jewel, straight down Sniper's throat, knocking him out.

    Opponent: Starmie
    Attacker: Arbok
    Opponent's Point Value: 20
    Attacker's Point Value 22
Bonuses: +5 (-5 Psychic vs Poison)
    Opponents's Remaining Points: 3
    Attacker's Remaining Points: 0
    Spoiler:

That left Speedy to finish off the Starmie. Rocky called out the Rattata and sent him into the pool. He realised his mistake straight away. Speedy was incredibly fast on land, but once he was in the water, his momentum was very slow. There was no way speedy could win like that. Rocky looked around for a solution before the victory was stolen from him. Then he saw the perfect solution.

"Speedy get to the edge. Climb that diving board and then dive-bomb Starmie from above."

Speedy struggled to the egde and then ran at full speed around the edge and up the Diving board. He launched himself at Starmie. Unfortunately, with no way to alter his flight down, it was a very predictable strike and Starmie easily evaded it hitting speedy with a swift attack on the way down.

"Speedy, use double team three times and try again." Rocky called out.

Speedy used what Rocky considered, his weirdest ability. Moving at incredibly fast speeds SPeedy actually projected multiple copies of himself. Then as he used the move again and again, those copies multiplied over and over until ever Rocky couldn't tell which was the real Speedy.

The swarm of mirror Rattatas climbed the diving board again and then in unison leaped off. Each dived at a different part of the pool. The Starmie was confused, it had struck out at many of the illusions dispelling them, but the sheer number of Mirror Rattatas was overwhelming. Amongst the swarm of illusions the real Speedy lined up Starmie and struck hard as he leaped of the diving board and scored a direct hit.

    Opponent: Starmie
    Attacker: Rattata
    Opponent's Point Value: 3
    Attacker's Point Value 22
    Bonuses: +5 (-5 Fully evolved vs 1/2)
    Opponents's Remaining Points: 0
    Attacker's Remaining Points: 14

    Brettles wins Hard mode
    Spoiler:

Rocky called back Speedy and smiled at Misty.

"Thankyou for the battle, Miss Misty. That was rather intense once I lost Pinchy. Please pass my regards on to your sisters for me."
