Time to hit the tabletop!

It is Pokemon Podcast Month and we got some exclusive content from your favorite Pokemon podcasters! From GO, TCG, talk, to tabletop and beyond! We have sent out the classic Podcasters Questionnaire to see what your favorite Pokemon podcasters have to say about podcasting!

And today we have….Rich from Dunsparce & Drampa to talk about podcasting and everything in between!

So what does the Dunsparce & Drampa have to say about…

What type of podcast do you have? Why do you make the type of podcast that you make?

Rich: An original TTRPG Actual Play podcast. We make the podcast because we are playing the game anyways— may as well share it!

What drew you to the Pokemon franchise?

Rich: The original boom in the late 90s.

What inspired you to podcast?

Rich: Just for fun, as well as listening to other great TTRPG podcasts like Dungeons & Daddies.

What keeps you going when it comes to podcasting and Pokemon?

Rich: It’s fun! There’s no need for external motivation.

What kind of feeling do you wish your listeners to have when listening to your podcast?

Rich: Excitement, joy, suspense.

What is the hardest part when it comes to podcasting?

Rich: Getting all of the players on the same schedule.

What has been the best Podcast moment you have had?

Rich: Observing everyone’s reactions to huge gameplay moments and the outreach and love from the fans.

If you can suggest an episode of your podcast to a new listener, which episode would it be? Why?

Rich: Starting from Episode 1 would make the most sense, but I also believe starting from a random gym challenge could provide a lot of insight in the type of game we’re playing without spoiling all that much.

So what I am hearing is start with any gym episode and you will surely have a fun time. Either way, you should give this podcast a listen!
