And today we have….Ken from Lured Up Podcast to talk about podcasting and everything in between!

So what does the Lured Up Podcast have to say about…

What type of podcast do you have? Why do you make the type of podcast that you make?

Ken: Pokémon GO – To provide the community with honest coverage about the game and community, bringing critical coverage and strong opinions.

What drew you to the Pokemon franchise?

Ken: Collecting was at the root of my love for Pokémon.

What inspired you to podcast?

Ken: It was a creative outlet that I could do from home while being less invasive on my family and responsibilities at home.

What keeps you going when it comes to podcasting and Pokemon?

Ken: Meeting listeners and hearing how the Podcast has influenced their gameplay and lives.

What kind of feeling do you wish your listeners to have when listening to your podcast?

Ken: I want them to feel like they are in the same room hanging out with close friends. A place where they can speak freely and not worry about being judged.

What is the hardest part when it comes to podcasting?

Ken: As a part time creator, the hardest part is making an impact in the content world while maintaining a 50+ hour job and a family.

What has been the best Podcast moment you have had?

Ken: Taking friendships that were made over Zoom for years and turning them into IRL relationships with some of the most important people in my life.

If you can suggest an episode of your podcast to a new listener, which episode would it be? Why?

Ken: Our newest episode will always be what we recommend, because we always want the next podcast to be better than the last.

Being a part time creator can be tough. Especially when you have so much to do. Still, that hard work is always noticed.
