A key component of Pokemon battling is knowing which Pokemon to use.

Sometimes you have to take into account type advantages. Sometimes you need to consider speed, defense, or other stats. Sometimes you must think about what attacks you want to use.

And sometimes, you just gotta use common sense.

A beautifully drawn and hilarious comic by KataChan!

The storyline leading up to the introduction of Mega Evolution in Pokemon X and Y is very well done, in my opinion.

Not only do you learn about how the process works, but you also have to work to earn the right to use Mega Evolution, making the entire quest feel like an accomplishment.

Of course, learning how to use Mega Evolution wouldn’t be much use unless you were given a Pokemon that could Mega Evolve.

#3. Kit’s Black 2 Nuzlocke

I really like Shakespeare. I really like musical numbers. I really like random references. I really like Pokemon.

Bring them all together, and you have a pretty dynamic comic.

Of course it is a Nuzlocke, and that means it will tug at your heartstrings.

To be, or not to be.” ~Hamlet, Act 3

Many Pokemon have fallen before him.

Far too many…

If it looks like a Woobat, flies like a Woobat, and speaks like a Woobat,

then it probably is…

#7. Quoix

This.

This is why you don’t raise Espurr.
