Pokemon has announced the date and location for the 2016 US National Championship. 2016 Nationals will be hosted at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio during the weekend of July 1st to 3rd.
This will be the first time since 2008 that the National Championships will be hosted outside of Indianapolis, Indiana. This year Nationals will be returning to Columbus, Ohio.
In order to compete in Nationals, players will need to have a certain number of Play! Points. TCG Masters will need 5 Season Play! Points. TCG Junior and Senior Division players must have 3 Season Play! Points. Meanwhile, VGC Masters need 3 Season Play! Points. VGC Junior and Senior Division players must have 1 Season Play! Point.
So pack your bags trainers! It looks as if we are all going to Ohio to take part in Nationals! Good luck!
