I’ve only used one in XD, but in that it’s by far my strongest pokemon, so as far as usefulness goes, it’s fine in-game. I think it’s design is quite cool too. ~ Shruikan
I do like its design. I really, really do. But it’s just not as mighty as its name suggests: whenever I tried using one it always ended up falling behind to the rest of its teammates, and it’s a real shame because I do like Mightyena and I want it to be better. ~ Arrow-Jolteon

Normally, I would’ve given it a 7, because it evolves into something I like, is cute, etc. However, since it’s model is the cutest in X and Y, I think that earns an extra point. Justlookatitsoadorableomg ~ The-Hydra

Salamence won me many Battle Tower matches in Ruby and I’ve loved it ever since. Not to mention it’s sweet how Bagon always dreamed of flying so desperately and then finally reaches its goal with this evolution. So inspiring and awesome. :D ~ Shroomish
Salamence. I don’t particularly like its design, but its not bad, and it has great battling capabilities. For that I give it an 8 ~ Dragon Master

I used to really like Alakazam, but after each generation I like it a little less. Sure, Alakazam was awesome in Gen I, but now there are so many different options for Psychic types. ~ Zodiac

The scarf does look nice on it, plus it is very cute. However, I don’t like that they gave it bullet seed and rock blast just to support its ability. ~ ShadowJay
Skill Link is a great ability and has good synergy with this guy’s moovepool. As for those of you who are wondering how it can learn Rock Blast… well, yeah, it doesn’t make sense. But hey, it does make Cinccino more versatile, so I don’t care :P ~ Arrow-Jolteon

The pokédex entries about it being multiple spirits bound to the keystone as punishment for horrible behavior is flavorful and very appropriate for a Dark/Ghost. ~Maddox
It’s really fun to use in battle, and your opponent’s never seem to see it’s moves coming. And the design is just awesome. I’d say it’s the evilest Pokémon of all. ~ The-Hydra
