That is because during the summer, Trainers from all over the world have been busy at Pokemon GO Fest taking part in different challenges. Because of this, the Ultra Bonus has been unlock which involves Jirachi, three weeks of fun and Mewtwo!
Jirachi Awakens!
Jirachi has been awaken and can be found in Special Research starting now! This star boy will take some time to get but you can expect to make plenty of friends along the way. Once you have completed the Jirachi Special Research then your wishes will come true! That is because you will be given the chance to capture Jirachi.
If you had gotten Jirachi from GO Fest during the summer then expect to earn plenty of Jirachi Candy to power up your wishful star!
Ultra Bonus: Week 1- Johto Journey
Get ready for a journey in Johto as Pokemon from this region take the stage! That is because the first week of the Ultra Bonus will feature hard to find Pokemon from the Johto region.
Starting from September 2, 2019, at 1 p.m. to September 9, 2019, you can expect the following bonuses.
- If you’re extraordinarily lucky, you might hatch Unown forms U, L, T, R, and A from 10 km Eggs.
- Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will return to raids, along with other Johto Pokémon.
- If you’re lucky, you might encounter Shiny Sentret and Shiny Gligar!
- 2x Incubator effectiveness.
Ultra Bonus: Week 2- Global Challenge, Global Hatches
After taking all such tough Global Challenges, that means we need a global reward! You can expect to see some Pokemon break region lock as they take on the world for everybody to catch them! That is not all! The Mythical Pokemon Deoxys is going to be on the go!
Starting from September 9, 2019, at 1 p.m. to September 16, 2019, you can expect the following bonuses.
- Regional Pokémon Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Tauros will hatch from 7 km Eggs. If you’re lucky, you might hatch Shiny ones! These Pokémon will remain available from Eggs until the end of week 3—September 23, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT.
- All Deoxys forms will make their first appearances outside EX Raids.
- Need a good team to take on Deoxys? Other Pokémon appearing in raids will help you build a good team to challenge the DNA Pokémon.
- 2× Incubator effectiveness.
Ultra Bonus: Week 3- A Unova Unveiling
Last but not least! The best rewards come for those who wait! That is because Mewtwo is coming back! Along with the liberation of Pokemon from the Unova region!
Starting from September 16, 2019, at 1 p.m. to September 23, 2019, you can expect the following bonuses.
- Mewtwo with the special move Psystrike will be available to challenge in five-star raids. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Mewtwo!
- Need a good team to take on Mewtwo? Other Pokémon appearing in raids will help you build a good team to challenge the Genetic Pokémon.
- The Gear Pokémon Klink, originally discovered in Unova, will also appear in raids. You might even encounter a Shiny Klink!
- You may also find Shiny Patrat and Shiny Lillipup!
- 2× Incubator effectiveness.
